RESULT CODE "ERROR" 12345 When recording

Ok... strange.. never happened to me before.
I am currently cleaning up a lot of unwanted files from my HD. For expample: I am taking my acoustic guitar track and all the punches within it and glueing them all together into one track. I am renaming it and setting the record path to my external drive. Everything has been going great and then about halfway through on eof my songs..BANG! I get this error message that reads: Result Code= -12345 The weirdest thing is it is only oon this one song so I must have hit something that I don't realize I did.
Has anyone else had this happen or know how to fix it?

Result Code Error=34...What's Causing That?

Lately, I've been getting an error message when I try to record in GB. It happens when I click on "record", and instead of recording, an "error 34" message comes up. The only way to get past it, is to restart my Mac. I've tried just quiting GB and starting it again, but no luck. Only a complete reboot seems to solve it.
Sometimes, GB will be working fine, and suddenly, after several successful takes, I may delete a recording (but not the track) and try again, and the error comes up.
What's happening, and how do I solve it?

UPDATE:
Back to square one. I was crusing along just fine, and then this afternoon, I got the old -34 error again. As before, a restart cures it, but what a pain to have to restart when this happens.
This time, I was working on a GB project with an mp3 track, and a real instrument track. I recorded several takes, deleted some, recorded again, etc. Then, at some point, I added a new track, and when I hit record...error -34.
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I think before I added the new track, I had shut down my amp, and then turned it back on again. I don't see where that would be a problem, though. Maybe if an amp is shut off in mid project there could be a loss of connection somehow usb related?

Error Mesage when recording quality results

I am getting the error message "Defects occured during confirmation" when executing the function BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.
The results appear to be recording, but I would like to know why this error and how to eliminate it.
I am populating the BAPI as follows:
Call function BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.
     Import parameter INSPLOT = Inspection lot number.
     Import parameter INSPOPER = Operation number .
Populate CHAR_RESULTS table as follows:
     INSPLOT =Inspection lot number
     INSPOPER = Operation number
     INSPCHAR = Characteristic number
     CLOSED = X
     EVALUATION = A
Populate SINGLE_RESULTS table as follows:
     INSPLOT = Inspection lot number.
     INSPOPER = Operation number
     INSPCHAR = Characteristic number from BAPI_INSPOPER_GETDETAIL (SINGLE_RESULTS table)
     RES_NO = Numeric identifier for the number of units on the inspection lot. (0001, 0002, 0003, etc).
     LAST_RES = X
     INSP_DATE = Current date.
     INSP_TIME = Current time (00:00:00)
     RES_VALUE = Result for a quantitative characteristic.
     RES_VALUAT = A
     DEFECTS = 0

Error Message When Recording

Hello I am constantly getting an error when I try to record in Adobe Audition CS5.5. It keeps saying the input and output device sample rates don't match. So I cannot record my voice. What do I do?

You'll need to make sure that the sample rate for your input and output channels of your device match.
1. Right-click on the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of your desktop and choose Recording Devices
2. Right-click the Microphone (or desired input channel for the device) and choose Properties
3. Click the Advanced tab and verify or change the Default Format option
4. Click OK then click the Playback tab. Right-click on your default or desired output channel and choose Properties
5. Make sure the Default Format option matches what you selected for your recording channel. (You'll notice in this screenshot, my playback device is configured for 48,000Hz while my microphone was configured for 44,100Hz. These need to match.)
6. In Audition, create a new session. For best results, ensure your session sample rate matches the sample rates you selected for your decices. Audition will attempt to convert the sample rate of your recording on-the-fly to match the session sample rate, but it's always recommended to work at a single, consistent sample rate to ensure no change to the audio signal takes place.

Error message when recording video

Have QT 7 Pro and it sees my camera, I set up hit record and I see the audio bar moving but the screen is black. When I stop the recording I get this error message:
*RECORDING FAILED BECAUSE NO DATA WAS RECEIVED*
*Make sure that the media input source is turned on and playing.*
Well the device is plugged in and turned on and the Mac sees it on the QT program because when I choose 'Movie Inspector' my camera is chosen as the source. Also the A/V settings are greyed out as to not be able to adjust.

Check that your video drivers are up to date.

Why do I get VISA code error -1073807202 when trying to connect PXI-2565?

I got error code -1703807202 (a code library required by VISA could not be found) every time when I first started up the computer and used "Initialize with topology" to connect my channels. This error would go away if I start MAX and open up devices and interfaces, then re-run the same task. How do I get rid of the error? Thanks.

Hey Pal,
You are correct about NI-VISA having requirements for LabVIEW. The latest version of NI-VISA won't work properly with LabVIEW 7.0. You can see the supported versions in the readme of the driver. For example, NI-VISA 4.4.1 is compatible with the following versions of LabVIEW: 8.6/8.5/8.2/7.1.1.

System Overload/Core Audio Error Message when recording/playback

Well ive been experience this problem for a while now but ive read up on it and done some troubleshooting and think i may have found a solution.
Well what happens is ill be recording say one track or 2 tracks in mono or stereo or playing back about 3 or 4 tracks and logic will stop everything and give me an error message which either says system overload or core audio overload or something. Well i figured i was overloading my cpu so what i tried doing was restarting my computer and then only operating logic as the only program. this worked temporarily sometimes but not in the long run. well i did research and came to this.
apparently its too overbearing for my Powerbook processor to record in 24 bit/96 Khz which is kind of a bummer because it was one of my attractions to my i/o box that i could do that. also freezing tracks will help greatly apparently which i have yet to try but hope will work too.
also i recently deleted about half of the stuff on my internal drive and put my 42.41 GB of music onto my external HD so now i have 54.6 GB on my internal HD which holds about 93 GB total. should this help me greatly? or will it only be a minute difference?
well any more solutions/suggestions as to what i can do to better my situation? also am i correct as to why i think i get those error messages.

Mike,
Bit depth is more important for recording quality than huge sample rates. If you're going to change your settings, I'd stick with 24 bit, but reduce sample rate to 48 kHz.
When you say you've put all your music on the external drive, what exactly do you mean--your Logic files or your mp3/AAC files? Normally you would want to use an external drive to record onto from Logic. That way your internal HD can run the OS and Logic, while the external is free for all the fast recording tasks. (This assumes your external HD is pretty fast, and ideally is firewire.)
Freezing works wonders, too, if you're processing tracks.

AME crashes with code error 8 when using CUDA CPU mercury accelerated

I have a Eurocom/Clevo D900C quad extreme system with 8 gig ram and aNVidia 9800M GTX.
I have an CUDA mercury CPU accelerated system in premiere pro cs5 BUT it works only work in edit mode. Things are good in the timeline, no need to render etc. It crashes when I try and export to the AME. I get a “movie error code 8” then it shuts the whole PP CS5 system down.
Any suggestions - is it driver (266.58), program PP CS5/AME CS5, card (9800M GTX) or BIOS related?

Correct. I had to adapt the GTX 9800M to find it in Premiere Pro CS5. I bought my current machine before Premiere Pro CS5 came out with the CUDA mercury accelerated engine.The new supported cards don't fit with my laptop - ( I go on-site to edit videos for business meetings with government so I need a powerful laptop - hence the D900C).
To move to the D900F is a couple of grand I don't have at the moment but like the opportunity to encode videos faster - an 18 mintues clip can take some take 5 hours. I appreciate that Adobe can't spend time and money adapting older cards to work with future sofware but I can dream.
I guess I can be thankful I get some benefits from the mecury engine during the editing phase but will still have to live with the slower encoding. My post was just a hope that someone knew of a workaround that would save me time and in the end some money. Times are tough business-wise and I need to get all I can from equipment before moving up.
Is it your opionion that what I have is the best it is going to be - it is better than the Quadro 1600M. What card would you suggest that might work but not break the bank - my supplier couldn't find one and his knowledge of PP CS5 not great?

Copy function results in Error 1430 when the target path terminal is &ltNot A Path

Hello all.
I'm having a little bit of trouble with the Copy function under LabView 8.2. If I wire <Not A File> to the target path terminal, I get an Error 1430 (The path is empty or relative.) from the Copy File function's error out terminal. According the the manual, wiring <Not a File> to the target path terminal should cause the Copy function to display a dialog box prompting the user to select a file.
I've attached a sample VI which demonstrates this issue. Is the documentation for the Copy function incorrect, or is something I'm doing wrong in my VI causing the error?

Thanks for bring this to our attention. I believe the documentation is incorrect here, as you suggested. When nothing is wired to the target path terminal, it behaves as expected (prompting the user to select a target directory).
I will look into this further and report this issue to our LabVIEW documentation team.

Error Code, "Error occurred when creating frame..." in FCP 10.0.9

This happened to me when sharing to Apple ProRes. My solution: I switched the timeline view to frame view and discovered that the "bad" frame was actually outside my edited part. So I just selected a range of what I wanted to export, excluding anything outside edited part, and it exported fine.

I was trying to deploy a Hibernate based application on WL 10.0 . I was getting this exception.

File Not Found error (-43) when trying to record

Never had this problem in the past, and haven't used Logic in a few months, but every time i attempt to record, i get that message: File Not Found, Result code error -43

I have a 'file not found' problem with Logic Express. A while back I transferred all my Logic files to DVD to make room on the hard drive. It took 4 discs, saved alphabetically by song title. Now, I nearly always get the 'file-not'found' error message when I try to work on something. Sometimes when I click 'search' it finds the file, sometimes it doesn't. I'm confident that I didn't delete the files.
Wondering if 'search' would find the files if I transferred all the files from DVD to a single folder on an external drive. I don't use the 'search manually' option, because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or where to look. In the other room, perhaps? 'Computer challenged' is me. Any suggestions?

Result code = -47 share a song to iTunes

I am running garageband 3 on my PowerMac G5 quadcore 2.5Ghz machine w/4Gb of ram. OS 10.4.10. When I go to share a song and send it to iTunes it gives me the error message Result Code = -47, and wont send the song over. If I restart the machine and try again it will work once then if I try to share another song it will give the result code error again. I have run all the updates so everything is current. If it makes a difference I am also running Final Cut Studio, along with alot of various other apps. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

I checked things out and there are no other apps running and it will give the error message after doing on export, no matter what. I tried different users and they all do the same thing. It doesn't even matter which file your are trying to export. So the only file I could think that might be busy is something associated with garageband. I will be looking through the error logs to see if I can find any thing there. Thanks.
