Result recording not saved

Hi,
PP QM Gurus,
I m doing result recording for a insoection lot. Once i have saved valuated, locked and saved the results for same results only. When for other results i go through QE12 system is showing me all blanks results. The results which i have recorded before are also appearing blank. Why this is happning. Please help me out.

Hi,
Normally if the result is recorded and the processing status is 5, it should not happen. Just for confirmation, Could you please tell me whether you are checking for the same inspection point and the Characteristic filter is "Closed characteristics"?

New records not saved

there are 3 main data block in a form. Block A is master of block B(multiple row block) while B is master of C(multiple row block).
Initially, I enter 1 row in A, 1 row in B and 3 rows in C. So, 5 records are saved. Anyway, when I execute the form later... and want to insert another row in B and another 3 rows in C. These new records are not saved.
Can anybody help me on this ?

Recreate Problem: Change the checkbox value of an item under OnChange and OnClick and press "Submit", only OnChange items actually change.
On this report, the two columns "OnChange" and "OnClick" are the focus. They are both simple check boxes and basically have the same settings. They both call an empty javascript function "test_me(this)" when clicked. Difference is, the MRU works for the "OnChange" column, updates are applied. You can change the "Onclick" column and submit all you want and it does nothing.
If you remove the event for OnClick="test_me(this);" from the "OnClick" column, the submit/updates work just fine.
(If anyone changes the demo, please return to prior state for others to examine)

Hi,
It is must o maintain the QM Master (MIC or Inspection Plan) for the Inspection Lots to be created with Status "REL" else all the Inspection Lots will get created with "CRTD" status. And you will not be able to carry out the Inspection process further.
So in this case, you can assign single MIC to all the spares with only 1 characteristic with values as OK/NOT OK selection.

Insert Record not saving values

Hi,
I am extremely new to Dreamweaver. I am using MX2004.
I am trying to work with a remote database that I created in
MySQL and I am using PHP.
I created a PHP page added my form, added my input fields,
and used the Insert Record wizard to get to my database on the
server. I also went to the columns section and where it says
‘Fieldname’ Does Not Get a Value. I went and chose my
value from the drop-down Value box. It now says
‘Fieldname’ Gets Value From
‘FORM.Fieldname’ as ‘Text’ I have done that
for all the columns that I am asking the users to fill in including
the fields that are NOT NULL.
The problem is once I test it, it is not putting the data in
the database. When I go back and look at my columns in the Insert
Record Server Behaviors, many of my columns have reverted to
‘Fieldname’ Does Not Get a Value.
For some reason my values are not being saved.
Can someone help with this?

Infotype records not saving when action is performed.

Hello all-
We have an action named: personnel information changes which is having Infotype 0002, 0006, 0105 to show up one after the other.
When we perform the action and click on save, its saving the data and moving to next infotype, but after the action is completed, the infotype records in PA20 or the table pa0002, pa0006 etc does not contain any data.
Please advice!
The employee is having a reference personnel number.

Hi Chakri,
Go to SPRO> Personnel Management>Personnel Administration--> Customizing Procedure -->Actions --> Define Infogroups and then click the Infogroup.
Give your action number "same used for Personnel Information Changes"
Check the following items,
1. check the Reference User Group... is it similar to your required one?
2. Check the "operation" column....it should be COP, INS or MOD.
Please check it ...hopefully it will work...Award points if you think so....

Error While saving the tabulator results recording(QE71)

Hi Experts ,
through the Tcode QE71 i'm recording the inspection points and the inspection results but while Saving the recorded results , the system is giving error as " No Orignal values " and also as "inspection Pt 99999 of the Characteristics .....is not avaialable".
What might be the possible reason for the same. But when i'm entering the results through the Tcode QE01 all the results are saved and closed.
Can anybody help me out of this.

Can you call your web service using jQuery not in an app successfully?
As the error message suggests, it might be an error on the server side.
I suggest you do a simple test to check whether you can call the web service using jQuery.

ABAP - BDC transaction not saving changes to records

I am trying to write my first ABAP code using BDC recording. Essentially I would like to flag the "Final Delivery" field (EKPO-EGLKZ) for a range of documents by recording transaction MASS.
The code runs without errors - but the changes are not saved. I have run the code in "Processing Mode: A" (Display all screens) and the program successfully loops through each record & saves the updated fields. When I look at the documents in ME23N the changes have not been saved.   Running the MASS transaction manually results in the changes being successfully saved so I can rule out any data validation issues.
Does anyone know why the changes refuse to save when running the code below?
I have considered trying to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE instead of BDC, but I am new to ABAP and I thought the BDC code would be less complex.

Where is BDC_INSERT.
If u use OPEN and CLOSE_group u need to use INSERT_GROUP also to update in database.

Result recorded values not appearing in printing the Inspection lot

Using QC21 i am printing the Inspection lot but the Result recorded values are not appearing in printing the Inspection lot .
while creating the certifacte profile i had maintained the MIC for which i had saved as Summary for recording . if i change this to Orginal value it says that this doesnt exist in the Inspection plan .
can somebody help me on this .

1.Make sure that you are using same MIC in Task list & certificate.
2.make sure that you have done RR & taken UD.
3.make sure that MIC is reference MIC.
4.Make sure that profile is attached to material

VALUATION NOT APPEARING IN RESULT RECORDING

Hello....
I have created an inspection plan where i have assigned all the characteristic to be inspected with quantative data.
Upon goods receipt inspection lot is generated,
while doing result recording when i enter the result for eg. if the characteristic value is 1-10, and i enter the reult as 1, the valuation has to be set automatically as accepted but its not appearing, could anyone please let me know am i missing any settings.
Suggestions will be worth appretation

If you are using sampling procedure, check the "Valuation Mode". It must be "Manual Valuation" to achieve the valuation Manually.
The trx code will be QDV1/2/3 for Sampling procedure.

Okey if you are not using the sampling procedure then,
Set the value as "Automatic Close" / Close, Navigate and save automatically" in the IMG settings at Quality Management->Basic Settings->Maintain Settings at Plant Level, here for the relevant plant select the "Result Recording" Tab and set the mentioned vales for the field "Recording configuration"
Revert for for further inputs.

Results recording could not be carried out

You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported .
where can i find the setting in the material master so that i can make result recording .

then result recording from next lot will be possible

If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

can anyone tell me why results tab not appearing in QA32 , is there any authorisation missing?

Just check which roles are added to that used id
selec 1 role that is relevent to inspection (result recording) and add QE01 t_code in that role.

"Result" row not appearing for the Structure record in Bex Designer.

In BI BEx Designer,
under Rows-> click any Characteristic-> Display Tab-> Result Rows: "Always Display" Option controls Last Row named "Result" (yellow colored) after the actual data reports ends.
But i am not finding this thing for the structure.
Actually my this report is based on 'Structure-> 2 selections' under Rows; once i run this query i get data without yellow colored 'Result" row at the end of report. I wanted to maintain the symmetry with other reports.
Could u pls let me know how to get Query last "Result" record if i use only structure under the rows.

I limit the selection to display in one page, i see the overrall result but i've a result to show up after a Characteristic (result row option 'Display with more than one single value'), it works fine in BEx but not in web.

to help you. I might be wrong, but I am guessing that you did not tried to learn the basic till now, in ordered manner :-(

This is short tutorial to learn SQL (SQL is the basic language for all common databases which works with tables). In one week you can learn the language and become "expert" :-)

if you want to do more then "just" update, then pls clarify. You might want to do INSERT if the LinkID is not exist and UPDATE if it is exist. In this case you can use MERGE statement as explained here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb510625.aspx
