Result Recording QA32
Dear Experts,
In QA32 when we want to enter result for particular inspection lot, there is column for result and original value, whenever a user enter some values in the result text field, the original value column automatically inserted.
My questions are:
1. I found some inspection lots that had all the result value filled in but the original values are blank, what may caused this situation?
assuming that the original values are updated automatically each time the result columns are filled in.
2. Where do I found the table column to store this result field? because I can't find it in QASR or in QAMR tables.
Please help, any help will be highly appreciated.

In this field, the system saves the original value that was actually entered during results recording. Attributes that may have been entered are also saved (for

1.suppose you entered 10.200 value but the data you have maintained allows you to only aceept 10.2 as a vlaue.
then Measured value: 10.2 & Original value will be :10.200
Original Value : This is what you have entered during result recording.

while dong the RR you can not delete the char/MIC as while creation of inspection lot only task list gets attached.
So what you can do the remove the task list from the lot,
In QA02>enter Inspec Lot->click on Reset sample.--->save.
This will remove the task list & status of lot will become CRTD from REL.
Now you can change the task list & attach the task list through QA02>click on Inspec specs->save.

Results recording tab not appearing in QA32
hi,
can anyone tell me why results tab not appearing in QA32 , is there any authorisation missing?Just check which roles are added to that used id
selec 1 role that is relevent to inspection (result recording) and add QE01 t_code in that role.

QA32 Without results recording system should not allow UD
Dear All,
Here we have only incoming inspection. For that i have activate 01 insp type in material master and respective master data also maintained. My problem is Once GRN has done its has gone to QA32. From there first i am doing results recording and save it. After that i was not able to do UD. Then i have gone to INspection lot change the user stantus to INIT then only system will allow me to do UD.
Any automatic setting is there to be achieve this one. Whenever i wil do results recording no need to chagne the profile status or anything then i will do UD.
Could you pls help me to resolve this issue.If you used the standard SAP process described here:

You shouldn't have to do anything except make sure all the required characteristics have a status of 5.
You shouldn't have to manually mark the inspection lot complete.

I am facing problem I have maintained formula for paricular MIC,e.g Zn-for this MIC i have to calculate the percantage as 100 minus balance of the remaining MICs eg i have maintained in this form--1

Please note i have maintain the folowing parameters in control indicators for the MICs from 10 to 90 in the Inspection plan
1) Sampling procedure
2) Required chara
3) single results
4) Fixed scope

and only for the MIC which formula is maintain i have maintained CAL CHAR.
when i creat a purchase and do migo an inpsection lot is gnerated.
when go to t.code QA32 to record results in RECORD RESULTS CHARACTERISTICS OVERVIEW
I HAVE NOTICED THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS
1) FORMULA IS NOT BEEN CALCULATED.
2)INSPECTED COLCUMN NEXT TO SINGLE VALUE IS AN INPUT SCREEN.i.E-Number of Inspected Sample Units--(WHAT I MEAN ITS NOT GREY FEILD-THE VALUES HERE SHOULD BE 1 AND GREY )
3)ALSO THE SINGLE VALUE TAB IS GREY NOT USUAL-IF CLICK ON IT THE TAB DROP DOWN.
I HAVE RUN THIS SCENRIO IN MY DEVELOPMENT SERVER AND IT WORKED PREFECTLY,BUT MY CLIENT SERVER I AM GETTING THIS PROBLEM
WHAT ARE SETTING I AM MISSING.

1) As the sample size was 1 system was taking this as Summarised recording & that is the reason why the system is showing 3 tabs instead 4
2) Please do the following setting in Config : SPRO>QM> Basic Setting> maintain setting for plant level>Plant> Result recording > untick Summ. Recording n=1.
If you had ticked this means that the results recording will always be summarized if n = 1 (for example when inspecting one unit or 1 ml).
please do check now whether the formula is working for a new lot and you have 4 tabs in RR

u2022 Creation of Batch Class (CL01)
u2022 Assignment of above created classed characteristic to the Batch Class at the time of class creation. (CL01)
u2022 Assignment of batch class to material master in classification view. (MM01)
u2022 Creation of MIC with reference to above created Class characteristic (QS21)
u2022 Creation of inspection plan with above MIC (QP01)
u2022 Creation of new batch (external numbering) for the material (MSC1N)
u2022 Creation of manual lot for 89 lot origin (QA01)
u2022 Result recording and usage decision (QA32)

Error while Result Recording-QM
Dear friends,
While RR for inspection lot I faced this error.
Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot 06000000764
Message no. QE181
Diagnosis
You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported.
Procedure
Confirm defects for this inspection lot or select another inspection lot in which you can confirm the characteristic results.Dear Vipul,
Check the System Status, it will be CRTD.
Now select the material and click on Inspection Lot button.
In this window , click on the Inspection Specification tab.
Now click on the Task List / Spec. button.
If this button now appears fainted after clicking then it is ok, then click on the Sample button , here click on the Smpl. button and this button will shown in fainted look. Now click on the Save button. It will bring you on the main screen of QA32 , now click on the Refresh button , you will notice its Status will change.
If clicked on Task List / Spec. button and it shows an error message that No Inspection Plan Exists , then you will have to make an inspection plan using T-Code QP01. After making the Inspection Plan then follow the above steps.

Error while result recording for test equipment
Dear Gurus
My scenario is to do unplanned maintenance for test equipment and recording the result.
For that I have done the following steps
1) Created Notification for the test equipment (customized notification type TE).
2) For that notification I created order. (customized order type TE01).
3) Attached General maintenance task list for that order. Task list has inspection point 300.
4) Released the order and saved. Inspection Lot is created.
5) In QE51N / QA32 when I tried to do results recording, it shows the following error.
"Equipment VERN01 do not exist in the object list for order 4001214"
Please help me to correct this error.

I applied oss and today I got reply. When 1278254 notes is implemented it is solved.
I have one more question, now in QE51N, I did result recording and when saved it is asking for order confirmation, I have given all data and came back to the same screen. There is one more option for Valuate Inspection Point. In that I have selected Can be used option and saved. Now if I goto maintenance order and TECO the order, it is saying that A usage decision has stll to be made.
Whether I want to take UD once again in QA32 ?
Also is there any settings to TECO the notification automatically when the maintenance order is TECO'ed. Now the notification is not TECO'ed when order is TECO'ed.

What is the setting- Pop up window 'Valuation' appears in Results Recording
Hi,
When i am doing Results recording in qa32, after processing all characteristics the status of all characteristics appears '5' but while saving it gives a pop-up window named 'valuation' where under 'valuate inspection point' sub screen field 'valuation' with entry 'Accept' in grey mode appears. Also a tab named 'valuation' appears on the same pop-up window with pencil symbol through with UD can be made in RR only.
What is the setting because of which this pop up window comes while saving the results recording.

I am using insp. point 200 which have default valuse in valuation tab. In functional module tab no FM are attached.
What are the setting required tobe changed in i want to use Insp. Point and do not want the Pop up window of Valuation.
In some other cases i am using point and pop up doesn't come.

Hide specification column in result recording at plant level
Hi,
There is an requirement to hide specification column in result recording screen at plant level.
By table control we can hide the specification column but the setting is at user level or client level.
Is there any standard procedure to hide specification column at plant level.

Try this if works for you.
1. Go to QA32
2. Select an inspection lot
3. Click on results
4. Here you will get the specification column along with RR column
5. Reduce the width of specification column just like we do in Microsoft excel by dragging it from right to left until it disappears
6. At the right hand side you find a small table like symbol. When you move your mouse pointer towards it, it reflects as Configuration.
7. Click it
8. Give suitable name to variant and save
This is user ID specific.

Exits for Results recording and UD
Hi,
I added few Zfields in QA01 screen using exit QPL10004 and they are not mandatory in create mode.
now my requirement is when from QA32 user selects that lot and click on UD or Results recording.
system should throw error message if Zfields are not maintained in QA01.
What are the exits that trigger ???

CRTD CHCR SPRQ-how to do result recording for that lot.

i am having issue.
i did GRN,lot is created with this status-CRTD CHCR SPRQ
i tried for Result recording but error is showing.
Then came to know QP01 is not assigned for that material.
then i created the QP01,but still i am not able to to Result Recording to that Lot.
is any way to do that.without cancell the lot can we do.

Your lot is at created status so you need to relesed lot. May be insection plan /task list has not been assigned to lot.
In Qa32 go in inspection lot Change ( Or T code -QA02 ) .where in tab Inspection specification tab click on task list/speci where you can assign plan theri ( You can assign plan with usage that you have created plan )
Save transaction.
refresh QA32 then try result.

as earlier I told you in QA02 tasl inspec tab in usage field select same usage by which you have created inspection plan.in QP01.

Result recording(QM) - Status check error
Hi Friends,
I can not perform Result recording(QE01) due to "status Check Error".
Inspection lot was created through GR. And then i tried to do Result recording. But i am getting error "status check error-This function you selected cannotbe carried out".

If no Inspection Plan is found,
1. Inspection Plan is not available. Check in QP03 for the material/plant combination the availability of plan. If not available, create it using QP01.
2. The date of creation of Plan is later that date of creation of Inspection Lot. In this case, in QA02 give the key date as before the date of creation of plan.
Next, you can do the Result Recording (from QA32 screen or use QE51N)
Once all results are entered and saved, the status become INSP.
Now, do the Usage Decision (QA32 / QA11) and here give the acceptace code and post the stock into Unrestricted stock

During result recording (thru QE51N/ QA32 ) in result recording screen we see MIC short text but not the MIC number.
How to get the MIC number during result recording screen?
Already we have used Info Field for this & get the MIC number Directly in result recording screen but User like to go for other option.

Problems during result recording

I am facing a problem in the result recording in the transactions QA11 for sample management. I make a sample from QPR1 and generate an inspection lot, then go to QA11 or QA32 for result recording. I record the results and save, the status of the inspection lot updates to RREC. But when i display the results or want to change them, the system shows me a blank screen to record the results again. Although the results are saved in the database table QAMR for the lot and the status of the lot is also RREC but on QA11 the system is not showing those and asking me to enter again. One thing is to be noted that this behaviour is for some materials' lots, for other sample management lots all is O.K.Hi,
For Physical semple, when u r going to create any inspection lot Via QPR1, than u r very well known abt this that inspection point always use as far as physical sample is concern.
So, whenever u execute physical sample inspection lot via QA11, than during RR system ask u for a new inspection point values and its valuation.
once u feed the results than lock ur lot by providing UD.
if lot is opened and u want to feed new data against same lot than system allows for new inspection.
