Hi All,

How to see.
in quality plan i assinged sampling procedure.and in sampling procedure, sampling scheme  with sampling seize 10.
Please helpme out.
Regards,
siddharth

Dear Siddarth,
You can check this information by clicking Inspection lot number, and then go to Insp specs >> click on display task list >> select operation and  click on MIC >> YOU can view everything like MIC, Sampling procedure/ scheme,.
Or alternately you can copy the material code and go and view it in QP02 (Insp Plan)
Individually you can also check QDV2, QDP2.
In Quality plan select MIC and click tab sample, you can see sampling procedure and scheme.
Best Regards,
Shekhar

  • SAP QM QE01 - Result Recording issue - scope not fixed

    Hi QM experts!
    I am facing the issue with the QE01 tcode, while result recordning. My caracteristic has a "scope not fixed" indicator marked. I have the sampling prcedure n=1. While result record the system doesnt allow me to regitster more then 1 result. The "Sigle result" dropdown is blurred, not letting me enterring more then one result.
    With the sampling procedure n=2 I am able to multiple the results as much I want.
    I am not sure if there is any OSS Note for that problem, once I searched and haven´t came across any.
    Anyone familiar with that problem?
    I apreciate any hint,
    best regards,
    Anna

    Hi Karen,
    yes, my caracteristics are checked for "single results" record.
    What I meant by N=1, N=2 is the size of my sampling procedure. While using samling procedure of size fixed=1, I can not regiser more then one result, even though caracteristic is marked as "scope not fixed / single results.
    And when I use the sample procedure size Fixed=2 (QDV1) for the same caracterisic I am able to register 2 results / 4 /6..etc. as many I as intend to.
    What  am tryin to figure out here, why the system doesnt let me register more then one result in the first senario, seems like a bug to me.
    thank you for your valuable input. Any suggestions?

  • Windows 7 Pro DNS issue with static IP

    I have been unable to solve a DNS problem I am having as follows:
    I have a Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) computer running VirtualBox with a couple of Windows XP guests (not sure if this bit is relevant). After heavy file copying/transfer on both of the Windows XP machines, both the guest machines AND the host loose anything
    DNS related, so I cannot call anything by name, but by direct IP works fine. The only resolution is to reboot the (host) machine and it will then work OK for a while until it happens again. The only trigger to make it seem to happen quicker is to re-initiate
    the heavy file transfer and this then causes the DNS resolution to stop working again.
    The machine has a fixed IP address, so it isn't related to DHCP.
    I've tried the machine connected wired and wireless, no difference.
    The IP settings are manual and I have tried giving it the DNS settings of the router (normal settings) and I have also tried giving it Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4). No difference.
    It seems to happen (sooner) during heavy traffic.
    Other Windows 7 machines in the network work fine (though they are Home version, not Pro).
    ONLY DNS fails, direct IP works OK.
    Reboot seems only solution at the moment.
    I am now lost as to what to try to resolve this issue, I do not really want to reload Windows 7 as it is a relatively new install... I have read about issues with wired connections on my router (BT Home Hub 2.0) so tried a wireless connection, still the
    same.
    Here is my ipconfig /all (it shows the BT Home Hub router DNS settings, but it also failed with Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 entered here and also with the routers 192.168.1.254 (default).

    Hi,
    This has just happened again, here is the content of the netstat results as requested...
    If I kill the VirtualBox virtual machines, it starts working again. It is as if there are no ports left, but I am not occupying that many? Surely Windows 7 can cope with this?
    I feel I am missing something important, but cannot put my finger on it...
    Further below, I have re-run the netstat command AFTER I have closed the VirtualBox machines and the system works OK.

  • ORA-20001: The printing engine..Is this related to a BIP licensing issue?

    Hello all,
    The error "ORA-20001: The printing engine could not be reached because either the URL..." happens in 2 cases:
    <pre>
    1. When our BIP is down or being bumped
    2. As an APEX administrator, in workspace environment settings, the print server is set to OFF.
    </pre>
    I'm thinking that this is a licensing issue but I need some clarification on what is causing the error, because all we are trying to do is bring up a PDF report that a user can open or save. BIP is not involved at this point. Is it because the report was developed using BIP that APEX needs BIP up? How does APEX even know the report was developed using BIP? Were are using APEX 3.2.1.00.12 and BIP 10.1.3.4.1
    The error happens when a user clicks on a PDF icon that calls an "After Submit Process". The following is the code and the report that was created in BIP is loaded into APEX with a "Named Columns (RTF)" layout type.
    Alex.

    7. Enabling Network Services in Oracle Database 11g
    By default, the ability to interact with network services is disabled in Oracle Database 11g release 1 (11.1). Therefore, if running Oracle Application Express with Oracle Database 11g release 1 (11.1), use the new DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN package to grant connect privileges to any host for the FLOWS_030100 database user. Failing to grant these privileges results in issues with PDF/report printing, specifically, you will get the following error message:
    ORA-20001: The printing engine could not be reached because either the URL specified is incorrect or a proxy URL needs to be specified.
    Follow the steps mentioned in the Oracle Application Express Installation Guide, Enabling Network Services in Oracle Database 11g. Also refer to the troubleshooting section in case you receive an ORA-44416: Invalid ACL error after running the previous script.

  • Weird character in search result for HitHighlightedSummary property

    We have a INTEG search center and display managed property 'HitHighlightedSummary', which is a out of box managed property
    One of the results display as below in search result page:
    "Issue 9 brings us the latest news from the Home Oxygen Service team … Don't forget to read CorpNEWS next week to get the latest Home Oxygen Service update.  "
    Noticed that the last weird character? how does that happen? we have same setup in DEV env, but we don't get this issue, how to track down this issue.

    The Ascii code 8203 stands for line break :
    http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/200b/index.htm
    commonly abbreviated ZWSP ;  this character is intended for invisible word separation and for line break control; it has no width, but its presence between two characters does not prevent increased letter spacing in justification
    A third party editor may be adding them , if they are not originally present in your script/code.
    Are you using any such editor tools?
    It will be helpful to open a troubleshooting ticket with Microsoft so that we can look at the issue in more depth.

  • InDesign CS2-generated PDF & feather effect/transparency issues

    I am at my wit's end. I received a client's PDF file created to my specs (same ones we've used for 5 years). I am having massive flattened transparency issues. I am currently using Trueflow version 3, a rip which does not support live transparency; therefore, my distiller settings require that transparency be flattened. There are some horrible results that I can't rectify on my end. There is stitching showing (and outputting to the plate!) where she has placed .psd files on some pages. There is also a problem with feathered objects (which are linked photos) - they look just fine in the document but when exported and flattened, there is a white box behind the pictures instead of the soft feathered look.
    When I exported her CS2 file using Acrobat 5 instead of 4, the effect is fine, but - my rip kicks it out. When I export to my specs, the PDF has the above print issues --
    I want to clarify that I always view print ready PDF files using output and overprint preview -- this is not a preview issue -- it is a definite file & export & resulting print issue.
    I would love to be able to assist my client -- this is a rush job. If anyone has encountered this and has a feeling what may be causing it, please let me know -
    Also - I do not have any software to correct this issue -
    Thanks in advance -

    Peter -- I am looking over those articles now. Here is the problem -- we do not print from the application
    File > Print, and under Output, choose Composite CMYK, and CHECK the “Simulate Overprint” checkbox. Under Advanced, select your all-raster flattener.
    I do not have her entire document -- only a couple of the problem children.
    I suppose a workaround would be to (if I had her files) see if I could print as a postscript and distill it to a PDF -- or print to a postscript and send that into Trueflow to see if it will accept it --
    However, I did receive a warning that by creating that high res setting with the slider all the way to the left, it would rasterize the whole page --
    Now, I can already do that in just one step by opening the PDF in photoshop at a very high resolution and flattening it --
    I simply hate having to go that route when we have type on the page too -- I think my issue is a lack of proper equipment -- we don't like to rasterize if we can help it -
    Since this job is a rush, I may have no choice but to do that on those pages -
    That info is helpful but in reality is a longer way of accomplishing the same thing --

  • Issue-Displaying year in selection criteria check

    I am using V3 as fiscvariant. It corresponds to financial year from APR to MAR. It gives proper result in report. But issue is for last three posting periods (JAN,FEB and MAR which corresponds to 010,011 and 012 respectively) when I press check in selection criteria it displays previous year. E..g 011.2008 should display FEB-2009 after pressing check, but it displays as FEB-2008. I have checked table T009B and I can see Year Shift column values as -1 for periods 10, 11 and 12. For all other periods the year shift is 0. Is it the problem? SM30 doesn't allow me to change entries, I am importing them from R/3 as it is.
    Note that as far as query results are concerned it gives proper results, only issue is display during check in selection criteria.

    Any comments/answers? I would like to know atleast which table is read when we press check in the selection criteria after entering the values...

  • Broadband issues

    I have spoken to BT multiple times regarding this issue and as of yet after 3 months of trying have not managed to get it resolved.
    I took on a new business and the owner of the building already had 3 phone lines so I agreed to take one of these off him and at the same time i also arranged for a broadband account on the line, I was using a Bt business hub (I actually have 2 but they are both the same results wise)
    Issue 1 - If I use any router other than a BT homehub 2, my line only syncs at 8mb despite me being on ADSL2+ and 400 yards from my exchange, however with the homehub 2 I get 24mb sync speed, but still only 448 upload sync speed.
    Issue 2 - 448K upload sync speed
    I called BT who admitted that a fault was present and sent out an engineer who could not find any fault, he tried a brand new homehub 3 and a brand new business router neither of which would sync at the higher speed, he couldnt explain this neither he nor any of the "tech support" I speak to have apparently ever heard of this issue before.
    What he did say though is that the line stats indicate that my line is capped and I should ring and ask for the cap to be removed, anyone I speak to is adamant that the upload speed has not been capped and the best offer I have had so far is to set the line back to the 10 day training period, which I accepted and it made no difference.
    The homehub 2 is to be quite blunt rubbish, I don't like them, the menus are not user friendly, getting simple information out of it takes far to long and it is SLOW.
    I ran a speed test last night on the BT speedchecker site and results are as below
    Download speedachieved during the test was - 19248 Kbps
    For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 4000-21000 Kbps.
    Additional Information:
    Your DSL Connection Rate :23896 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 443 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
    IP Profile for your line is - 21083 Kbps
    >Upload speed achieved during the test was - 366 Kbps
    Additional Information:
    Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 443 Kbps
    I have also recorded the line stats from my router which indicate no faults or issues and I should be getting over a 1mb connection up, results as below
    ADSL line status
    Connection information
    Line state Connected
    Connection time 42 days, 1:27:50
    Downstream 23,896 Kbps
    Upstream 443 Kbps

  • Reinstallation causes app related issue.

    I had problems with my macbook after reformatting it. I chose to leave the old data untouched instead of wiping my hard disk clean.
    It appears that I have 2 maion issues here.
    Issue 1 - Certain apps like iTunes aren't able to oppen previous libraries giving this message "iTunes library cannot be opened because it was created by a new version of iTunes. I was really confused about this because I didn't expect the apps to be affected by the reformating. I've tried Time Machine to restore the previous version but I got the same results.
    Issue 2 - I used a certain app before reformatting my macbook. The app is called Little Snitch Configuration. It monitors app that connects to ports on the internet and it asks to user to either approve of deny the connection. After formatting, it doesn't seem to work anymore and I tried uninstalling it bu to no avail. Now it blocks all the other apps' internet functionality other than the ones that I have previously approve before the formatting.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank youl.

    Thanks for responding Kappy.
    Issue 1 - So certain apps were reinstalled as older versions. That explains alot. Thanks. I would love to get a newer version of iTunes but unfortunately, issue 2 makes life hard for me.
    Issue 2 - I used Easy Find like you mentioned and it works really well. Unfortunately, even with the app files absent, it still has the same network limitations to other apps without my approval before reinstallation of OSX. I'm gonna try reinstalling the app again and clearing all the limits placed on the files.

  • Flash PHP MySQL issue

    can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong:
    (Actionscript)
    var db_out:URLVariables = new URLVariables();
    db_out.from = "property";
    db_out.where = "`state`='OR'";
    var db_req:URLRequest = new URLRequest("php/search.php");
    db_req.data = db_out;
    db_req.method = URLRequestMethod.POST;
    ldr_db.load(db_req);
    (PHP)
    $select='`id`';
    $from=$_POST['from'];
    $where=$_POST['where'];
    $order='`type`';
    $result=mysql_query('SELECT '.$select.' FROM `'.$from.'` WHERE '.$where.' ORDER BY '.$order);
    this returns no results.
    this issue is within the db_out.where variable.
    other searches where db_out.where is a Number (IE: where = "`status`=1") work fine.
    so how do i pass a String query from Flash to MySQL?
    if it were a single variable sent to PHP, i would wrap it in single quotes (IE: ''SELECT '.$select.' FROM `'.$from.'` WHERE `state`='."'".$var."'".' ORDER BY '.$order), but how do i properly send a WHERE statement from Flash to MySQL involving a String??
    much appreciated,

    i figured it out. no idea why this is an issue, but it seems to be.
    if Flash passes a string to PHP to be used in a MySQL query, and that string contains single quotes (IE `city`='Portland'), the query will return 0 results, even if its WHERE had an OR conditional in it not using single quotes (IE `status`=1).
    so here's the fix:
    use some unused symbol in place of the single quotes (IE ^) in Flash, and have PHP use str_replace to swap them for single quotes.
    i dont know why PHP has to be the one to implement the single quotes, but it seems to
    IE:
    $where = str_replace('^', "'", $_POST['where']);
    i hope this saves someone the hours i spent trying to figure this one out!!

  • Oracle EE 11.2.0.2 RMAN Duplicate interesting issue - is it a bug?

    Hi,
    Oracle EE 11.2.0.2 RHEL 5.7 x86 64-bit RACOne Node database (3 - nodes).
    I was working on a process to refresh out test environment with prod database backup from tape and i have done it many times. Most of our environment is in 10gR2 and have few on 11.2.0.2 RACOne Node databases. The recovery basics in Oracle world is to use archive log sequence + 1 (provided we know before hand the backups metadata) and it works as expected until 10g but with 11.2.0.2 RMAN duplicate, i stumbled upon an issue where RMAN is trying to restore an older controlfile auto backup and then rolling forward from there. Its easy to explain with an example..
    1) I have an archivelog backup, say sequence 20 to 30 on Feb 22nd @ 10pm and a controlfile autobackup at this time c-20120222
    2) I have a FULL backup + archive log until sequence 50 on Feb 23nd@ 6pm and a controlfile autobackup at this time  c-20120223
    3) I am using RMAN duplicate to refresh UAT with Feb 23rd backup and use "set until sequence 51 thread 1"I am using following RMAN commands to do the duplicate on UAT server (executed on UAT server)
    rman target sys/***@PROD_DB  auxiliary /
    RMAN> run
    2> {
    3> allocate auxiliary channel c1 device type disk;
    4> allocate auxiliary channel c2 device type disk;
    5> allocate auxiliary channel c3 device type disk;
    6> set until sequence 51 thread 1;
    7> duplicate target database to UAT_DB;
    8> }RMAN duplicate automates all that we do manually but the recovery mechanism is same. In the above scenario, it connects to target database, gets the backup metadata and restores controlfile from c-20120223 , restores the datafiles and recovers till sequence 50 . This has been the scenario until 10g in every RMAN duplicate process i have tried and is expected from Oracle.
    Issue:
    In 11gR2 (11.2.0.2), for the same duplicate scenario above, it is restoring the controlfile from autobackup c-20120222 and restoring the datafiles from Feb 23rd backup, recovering till sequence 50 and doing the duplicate process. The thing to note here is that the controlfile autobackup c-20120222 does not have any record of the FULL backup that occured on Feb 23 rd and since RMAN duplicate is having a connection to target database, it knows the backup metadata and hence it is able to complete the recovery.
    For clarification, Thread 1 & 2 of RAC One Node is not an issue here for sure. Did anyone experience this issue? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Shiva

    AJ,
    I have already tried that scenario, i renamed the c-20120222 and kicked off the same duplicate process but it failed and it kept on "fail-over to previous backup" which is expected. The thing is, RMAN look's for the control file autobackups from newest to oldest (unless you gave a point in time) and duplicate command is not doing it.
    Tycho,
    I agree there are new features but to support them a change in recovery mechanism is something i would disagree that Oracle would do. Active Duplication is not based on backups, so that is out of question here. For backup-based duplication, we can try with connections to target or targetless, catalog or catalogless or none. I have already given an example with the target (same with target + catalog) and i expect the same behavior with only catalog connection. Now, i have tested the example without connecting to target or catalog and below are my observations...
    For the same backups i mentioned in the very first email, i got the following info....
    rman target /
    Recovery Manager: Release 11.2.0.2.0 - Production on Fri Feb 24 12:35:54 2012

    know, this control file autobackup does not have record of Feb 23rd + archive log backup, so it FAILS. This is exactly what i told in my first email.

  • Publisher to pdf - printing issues

    Hi All
    I have a double sided trifold publisher file that I am having issues with  lines on the pix - converting to PDF sorts this - however when printing the pdf file
    the alignment of objects centred on the trifold pages changes and the end result is therefore crooked.
    Does anyone have any suggestions please ? Ive searched help but not found exact fix. Thanx

    Are you using 11g DB? Did you check this:
    ORA-20001: The printing engine could not be reached because either
    the URL specified is incorrect or a proxy URL needs to be specified.
    Follow the steps mentioned in the Oracle Application Express Installation Guide, Enabling Network Services in Oracle Database 11g. Also refer to the troubleshooting section in case you receive an ORA-44416: Invalid ACL error after running the previous script.

  • InfoView report instances no longer display results

    I have a report scheduled to run daily in InfoView. When I get the link for the report today, I can view the results without issue. But if I try to view that same link tomorrow (or go through the InfoView interface to look at the historic instance), there is no data displayed in the results. There is nothing special about this recurring schedule, and the only thing special about the report is that it is using a SQL command to connect to the database, but as I am only trying to view a historical instance of the report, I would not think that would matter. Has anyone seen this before?

    More information on this topic that may or may not be related...  It appears that formulas used in certain reports are refreshed when viewing the latest instance.  For example, if I have a formula of CurrentDate - 1 on the report, I would expect an instance of the report date 11/7 to display this as 11/6, but instead it is showing up as 11/8 (today's date - 1).  Any ideas on why this may be happening?

  • Oracle vulnerability issue and JavaScript.

    I started a discussion in the Muse forum, and also want to ask the question here, regarding the disabling of JavaScript in browsers.  That thread is: forums.adobe.com/thread/1140485.  My basic question is this:  is there a work around, like adding code to HTML editor, as a result of issues associated with disabling of JavaScript in browser.  For example, widget and google maps in website are broke when disabling of JavaSript in browser.  This is an issue resulting from the Oracle vulnerability issue a few weeks back, where the Department of Homeland Security is recommending the disabling of js in browsers to prevent the rootkit infection on machines.  Want is the answer to this issue.  I don't mind learning code, if needed, to put in HTML editor.  I just need to know what i need to do or learn.  Not everybody is going to disable Java or remove it from their machines, but many folks are and have--that is those aware of the issue.  Or is the whole issue just a big bogeyman?

    Yes, thank you kenneth_rapp.  Note another response in Muse forum and my reply to basically this same question, which produced the same answer.  You'll note, where my confusion began.  See that discussion in muse forum http://forums.adobe.com/message/5017525#5017525http://  provided by member:  topelovely.  Again, thanks for the response.  It caused me to further read and understand the differences.
