If a client send a request to the server using RTSP to download a photo,doc,audio file. it locates the file by using path which is stored in database.the source file want to store in a cache,because it will send back to client,at that time whether connection problem may occur due to network problem between server and client,when i get re-connection i need to resume the remaining part of files to download,i don't need to download from starting stage,wht is coding for that?

Managing Mac OS X Lion's application resume feature.
If you shutdown your computer you should get a dialog asking if you want applications to resume on the next startup. Simply uncheck the box to prevent that from occurring. Open General preferences and uncheck the option to Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps. You can also install a third-party utility to control resume features on individual applications: RestoreMeNot or Application State Cleaner.
It is possible to completely stop the Resume feature although I'm unconvinced that it is that annoying. Nevertheless see the following:
If you have not yet done so you must first make your /Home/Library/ folder visible. Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the prompt paste the following command line:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN. Quit the Terminal application.
In the Finder navigate to the /Home/Library/Saved Application State/ folder. Delete the contents of the folder. Back up to the /Home/Library/ folder. Select the Saved Application State folder. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Sharing and Permissions panel at the bottom click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window.
Quit all open programs except the Finder (this is very important.) Next, navigate to the /Home/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder. Look for a .plist file with "com.apple.loginwindow." in the file name followed by some numbers in hexadecimal. Select the file. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window and in the Sharing and Permissions panel click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window. If you also find a file with the same filename but with a last extension of ".lockfile," then you should delete it.
The above should eliminate the Resume feature system-wide. Note that any future system updates or upgrades will likely undo these changes. You will then need to repeat this procedure assuming there are no major changes in OS X related to it.

The Sync setting only appears if you are syncing your calendar with iCloud. If you are syncing them to another service (such as Google) you would need to go your account with that service and see if you can change the setting there.
If you are syncing your calendar with iCloud, you should see the Sync setting, and be able to tap and change it.

Unable to resume iTunes download from point of interruption

Add me to what seems to be a growing list of people who are not able to resume a download from iTunes from the point where the connection dropped off. I don't have a very good connection, so when it takes 6 hours to download 470 MB, I don't want to start over again to get the last 50MB. As things are now, that's my only choice--it never picks up again where it left off.

Add me to the list of users with downloading problems after I purchased items from the iTunes Music Store. I purchased a bunch of Season 2 episodes of The Office and after I checked out, my Shopping Cart was emptied and the episodes appeared in my Downloads queue as expected.
However, I am on a slow connection and after the connection timed out, I quit and restarted the iTunes app. Now, when I look at the Download queue, it's empty, but the TV shows show up neither in my shopping cart or purchases. I've never had this type of problem before iTunes version 7.3.1 which is what I have installed. HELP! I want the TV Shows I've already paid for.

Well, you are accessing Safari. It's just that there's a page it's trying to access on the web, one that you last used, and that website is not available. When looking at the dead page in Safari, tap the lower right icon to shrink down the page and then tap the "x" to get rid of it. You can then try going to another site.

If you set up Home Sharing and are on the same network you can share your library. However you must be using the same itunes account. Another option (if you are trying to download to a device) would be to sync over Wi-Fi. I hhope this helps a bit. Some subscribers are unable to download my podcast in the last 2 weeks. How do I fix this?

I host a podcast and an issue is happening to my listeners (and me) in iTunes for the last two weeks. I am using a Mac and also a Windows computer with the latest version of iTunes. I have no problem downloading the podcast on my iPhone using Downcast as my podcast client (I don't like Apple's Podcast app).
I have listeners contacting me asking why this is happening and don't know how to fix it.
I have further details of the issue:
The file starts to download in iTunes and then stops. The podcast is listed in the queue and it shows it is in the cloud. There is a little exclamation point next to the new episodes. When I try to select download it starts and then stops downloading, still showing the exclamation point instead of the blue dot. I can start to stream the podcast but it stops 3 minutes into the podcast. I hit play again and it picks up where I left off but only plays another minute and a half. This stopping and having to hit play again continues through the rest of the podcast.
I haven't changed anything in the way I code the mp3's in the past two episodes, so unless Apple has changed policy or restricted new podcasts on the way they are coded, I don't know what to think. Bitrate 32kbps and sample rate 12,000kHz Mono.
I just did some tests on a Windows 8.1 machine using iTunes 11.1.2.32 and it is not downloading any shows from the last 12 weeks (Aug, 22, 2013 was the last successful d/l).

Not all podcast subscriptions are experiencing this issue, some download still without a problem.
I have turned off automatic syncing.
I tried various settings on the way it downloads, how many episodes it keeps and it changed nothing. Still having the issue.
This is happening in both Windows and Mac versions of the software.

I subscribed to your feed and was unable to download episodes - I tried several including the latest. The error message was that the download was interrupted.
I was able to download the latest episode in a browser, and to play it in Safari. Evidently your server is reacting badly to requests from the iTunes application; I have no idea why this should be the case and can only refer you to the people running your server.

Remember that you can just put your Macbook to sleep by closing the lid. Unless you're not going to use it for a few days this makes more sense than shutting it down. I sleep my MBP overnight and it uses about 3% of battery power. I only shut it down if I install updates.

Apple TV problem- Netflix message not availabale at present etc. On Itunes playing a movie the sound stops and starts how can the downloading hurry up. On the computer all OK.

If you are getting a box which looks like this -
- then you are right-clicking or Control-clicking on the icon in the Dock, or are click-and-holding on the icon rather than just single-clicking it quickly.
In any of those cases, clicking on a bare patch of Desktop should make the box (menu) disappear.

For now, you can try using Ctrl + t to open new tabs if you can't open them otherwise, but try right clicking the tabs bar, clicking "customize," and then in the window that comes up try clicking the "restore default set" button. I don't know if it will work in your case but it wouldn't hurt to try.
