Retake Quiz Setting Causing With Completion Status
Has anyone encountered this issue: the staus shows "failed" if the user passed the quiz when they exit the course on a screen other than the last quiz screen (if they go back to an earlier slide). If we uncheck the "show Retake button" then this issue does not occur. Help!

Sales order not set to complete status in CRM from R/3
Hi Gurus,
I need some advice. We are working on CRM 2007 and the issue we are facing is....when a sales order is created in CRM it gets successfully copied over to R/3. It is then processed in R/3 and is then set to a Completed status. But this status is never updated across to the original sales order in CRM which hence stays in Incomplete status...
We know this is a config issue and we have also looked at program "CRM_SET_STATUS_COMPLETED" but can anyone point us where exactly we need to change the configuration.

When the R/3 Order status is set to 'Completed' then the system status for order in CRM system is automatically changed to 'Completed'.
So firstly check whether the User status ('Completed')in SAP CRM has the Business transaction event set to 'FINI'. So when the system status is set to 'Completed' the user status will also change to 'Completed.'
Secondly even check what are the statuses of item in the Orders.

I'm trying to calibrate apprasal documents (with completed status) through Calibration BSP iview, but the final rating on the Appraisal form is grayed out.
Is that correct, I can not calibrate final Appraisal documents with completed status?

the problem is, that the production order has been deleted already.
Regarding the Info-message V2355 - Deletion flag for production order/network &1 cannot be reset:
- if the particular producion order is still available within the system (it has not been deleted) - it is possible to reset the Completed status on the sales order after confirmation this message.
- if the particular producion order has been deleted already, it is not possible to reset the Completed status anymore within the transaction VA02.
It is probably a program error, what do you think?

You delete or complete a contract. If you are on the items list of the contract at this time, the change button is still active so that you can change the contract items.

How to re-run the operation that is in complete status?
This sounds funny, but here is my scenario:
I got 10 operations in a process. In the 6th step, it fetches the username to be assigned in the 7th step from the custom DB using JDBC service.
Unfortunately, the username was not maintained properly (with some mistyping in the DB). In the 7th step, I use Assign User service which takes the username got from 6th step. As it cannot find the username (as it was a mis-spelt name), the operation stalls.
If I see the status of the process,
I see
step1 - COMPLETE
step 5 - COMPLETE
step 6 - COMPLETE (fetching record from DB)
step 7 - STALLED (with error - user name doesnot exist)
i realized the error and corrected the Custom DB with right username.
Now my question is, How can I re-execute the whole process from step 6?
I checked it, but adminui doesnot allow to re-run the operations with COMPLETE status. if I rerun the step 7, there's no use as it is still holding the wrong user name.
Only option i see is asking the users to trigger it again from step 1 which doesnt make any sense for user as they think it's a re-work for them again and also there are multiple users in between the process who approves the form and they all have to rework on this.

I tried exactly the same way and it worked perfectly in my test system. However in my prod system,
After I added the exception and routed to the stall process, I saw that process got halted this (below screen shot) way. After the invalid principal exception thrown, it should goto the next step which is Stall process that generates the stalled branch error.
As it got stopped here, now its not even allowing me to retry the operation. The process status is still in running state. I'm suing 8.2 ES.
I'm not understanding why the same steps worked in Test system, and not in Prod system.

Why My Quiz Status Completion Status Slide Does not Move on to the pre-set Success/Fail slide
Hi,
I set the Pass or Fail status in the Quiz Preferences as below: If passed, it should jump to Slide 8; if failed, go to Slide 9 (image #1)
But when I am running and testing the file (F4), it will stop at the Assessment Completion Status screen (Image #2) and never jump to the pre-defined slide. Does anybody know why? Thanks!

MelissaThis happens so often, users are deleting embedded objects on Question or Score slides. Embedded objects have no visible timeline. Some of them can be turned off using checkboxes (like Back, Next buttons on question slides), others disappear automatically (Submit during review, Retake when Quiz attempts are exhausted) but deleting them manually is always a bad idea. And Continue button on the Score slide is as important as the Submit button on Question slides. Those are the buttons that trigger the actions linked to those slides: Success/Last Attempt actions for the Question Slides, and the Passing/Failing grade actions for the Score slide. This is just a bit more in details what Rod told you, not another answer at all.

Those articles describe functionality and tweaking possibilities. They were written for an older versions, but are still valid.
If you want to skip the Continue button, it is possible to create a conditional advanced action that uses the value of the system variable cpQuizInfoPassFail to choose a jump to the appropriate slide. -
Set the workflow about PPR process as completed status with a report.

I need to complete a workflow and all regarding task from UWL.
To do this, I implemented 2 functions module: the first to execute the dialog step and the second to set the dialog step as completed status.
When I run the report the both function module doesn't work. Sy-subrc return me different result as 0.
If I execute the SWIA T-code, I see all the task and there I execute the "dialog step" WORK ITEM to set it from ready status to started status and after I use "complete manualy" for the same task then the workflow created a new "dialog step" WORK ITEM I do the same with it and the workflow is completed.
So I would like to do the same in a report with SAP_WAPI_SET_WORKITEM_STATUS and SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE functon module ... please see my code below:

I would presume that you are calling some activity step to perform some operation ...when this fails, you are passing some flag to the workflow to send the email and the "planned" error!
It's pretty simple then:
1) Analyze the flag using a condition step
2) Use mail step to send the email
3) Call a custom method to raise a workflow exception - workflow will go in error.

Adobe Presenter Always Passes Complete Status to LMS - Even When Quiz Failed
Issue:
I'm trying to publish an Adobe Presenter 7 course with a quiz using SCORM 1.2. I am publishing to our LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand). The course loads and plays fine. However it always reports a complete status to the LMS - even when I fail the quiz. I can even see the score (10 out of 50 points), but the status still shows as completed when it should be incomplete. The pass threshhold is set to 50 points...and yet any scoring allows a completed status.
Questions:
1. Has anyone used Presenter with CSOD?
2. Has anyone used Presenter with any SaaS LMS?
3. Which settings are required to acurately reports a status?

DanOn top of Ravi's suggestion, what I would also recommend is checking the "scorm_support.js" file which can be found in your Scorm Support folder---this is automatically created when you publish your PPT deck.
Open the scorm_support.js file using Notepad, Notepad++....anything other than Word. From there, look at the top of the js file and you'll see a few variables which help to establish the SCORM setting of the training, but the one to look for looks like this:
var g_nAPI = 1;
if that variable is set to "0", then your published content will trigger SCORM 2004, not 1.2.
I've seen this come up on a few occasions, but ever since upgrading my version of Presenter to 7.0.5, this has gone away.
Additionally, there are a few other things you can do which might help in terms of deploying content in your LMS:
1. I would strongly recommend downloading the ADL SCORM 1.2.7 test suite. What this basically does is allow you to test the conformity of the SCORM package of a published Presenter course to determine if problems exist BEFORE you post your files to an LMS. You can download the test suite here:

2. If you have an LMS admin at your disposal, be sure to check with that person for deployment criteria when your content is installed on the LMS. I've developed and deployed Presenter content on a variety of LMSs, and some have nastier quirks than others...so one solution may not fit every environment, but you have to keep checking! I would also try reaching out to your LMS's tech support if possible.

SABA LMS Completion Status is always "Successful" -- even if quiz skipped
For a course I'm creating, the SABA LMS Completion Status is always “Successful” even if just 1 slide of the Scorm 1.2 compliant Adobe Presenter course is viewed – doesn’t even need to get into quiz.
A failing grade is also always "Successful". How to get an "Unsuccessful" for skipping the quiz and/or failing the quiz?
Settings:
Reporting - Quiz Manager:
Enable reporting for this project -- checked
Learning Managemenet System (LMS) -- Scorm
Choose Report Data -- Report Quiz results only
Report Pass or Fail -- Report Pass/Fail (should this be Report staus as defined by report data?)
Report Score to LMS as: Percent
Reporting Level -- Report interactions and the scoreI have Presenter courses working properly in Saba. Sometimes the issue is your Offering or Content settings in Saba. Could be a combo of having Is Scoring checked and having a Mastery Score set on Course or Offering level.
When you dig down into the Activity History for that transcript completion, what status is listed on the module level? Saba will roll up to a status of Successful/Unsuccessful/Not Evaluated depending on how you have it setup. What Status is your content actually passing back: Completed, Incomplete, Passed, Failed?

I have a course built in Captivate 3 that automatically moves to completed within our LMS when users open it. How can I set the status to not change until users have gone through the entire course? Any ideas?

In our LMS this occurs if I add the SWF as a Flash file when I upload to the LMS. However, if I enable reporting on the Quiz Preferences pages in the Captivate file before publishing and then import it as a SCORM package in the LMS it uses the LMS customization settings on the Quiz Preferences page to track and set a completion status. -
Can we set complete status of delivery
As in sales order we can use reason of rejection to set complete status of sales order similarly is there anyway we can set complete status of delivery at vl02n.(except pgi ofcourse)

You need to delete the delivery in VL02N in case you do not want to go ahead with PGI. In case PGI has been done already, kindly reverse the same in T-code VL09 and then delete the delivery in VL02N. Then put reason of rejection in line item of sales order.

Nomination Line Item complete status set automatically
Can you please point me to the config area to control the Nomination line item status completion.
Recently we have upgraded to service pack 12 and after that when we actualize the ticket, system is automatically setting nomination line item status as complete and thus blocking us from updating the event text details .
Can you please let me know where is the config for controlling the completion status for nomination line item

it is actually set automatically when the ticket qty is within the defined nom tolerance.
So check the tolerance settings on the nom. There is no other config here. You can influence the behaviour with BAdI implementations (OIJ_TKT)
