Retest Date Calculate from manufacturing Date

Dear all,
If we are doing Goods Receipt for Finished Goods, Semi Finished Goods or Raw Material the Retest date is calculated from Posting Date (GRN) as per SAP Standard. But our client required it should be the retest date is calculate from Manufacturing Date of Particular Material.
Please Guide How to Map it , what configuration i want to do in SPRO

The same situation we faced in one of my pharma implementation, As per standard,retest date will be calculated from the GR date + retest period in days given in the master.If we want to create from the date of manufacturing date we have to opt for user exits.we done through an user exit during usage decision.

hi,
i have some problem for retest date in raw material.
For Raw material
Right now we get retest date as per SAP std. (i.e. GR date + Inspection interval)for first time.
at the time of next inpection date, 09 inpsection lot generate, UD given & new inspection date calculate based on UD+inspcetion interval.
we do not require next inspection date at the time of GR processing (i.e. initially).
it must be calculated after UD given to "01" inpspection lot as it calculate for "09" inspection lot.
For SFG material
same way for the SFG material, first time next inspection date calculate based on Mfg.date + inpsetcion interval.
at the time of next inpection date, 09 inpsection lot generate, UD given & new inspection date calculate based on UD+inspcetion interval.
we require new next inspection date = 09 lot creation date + inspection date.
please give your suggestion.

1) For 01 inspection origin, next inspection date calculate from GR date + Inspection interval & no need to change this functionality - ACCEPTABLE
2) For manufactured material with 04 inspection origin, we require next inspection date = Mfg. date + Inspection interval - EXISTING SYSTEM FOLLOWED & NO REQUIRED TO CHANGE
3) For recurring inspection for Raw material, new next inspection date = 09 lot creation date + inspection interval - EXPECTED SO GIVE YOUR SUGGETSION FOR THIS CHANGE
4) For recurring inspection for manufactured material, new next inspection date = 09 lot creation date + inspection interval - EXPECTED SO GIVE YOUR SUGGETSION FOR THIS CHANGE
Please guide me to change the above logic & make system as per our requirement.

Calculate from graph cursor data

I need to calculate from cursor data in a grpah that has been read from a file and displayed. Specifically, I want to position locked-on-trace cursors and calculate the delta-time or delta-voltage from their positions like one would with a standard scope. Attached is a file of the trace to read, 2 channels, Cursors would be on either ch-1 or 2. Simple read VI attached.

Here's a very simple example. You just have to use the graph's property node to get the cursor position. If you know the sample rate, you can fine tune it to display actual time.

QM Stock to be posted 5 Days Prior to the Retest date.

Dear Experts,
The requirement is something different .
In Standard SAP WE can do as below ;
System makes a delayed transfer posting that allows the batch stock to remain in unrestricted-use stock as long as possible.
We can still carry out inspections during this time. If the system makes delayed transfer postings, a job should be scheduled every day , to ensure that the stock is Posted to quality stock.
System will post to Quality stock , when the day reaches the test Date or Based on the Lot Origin date .
The Requirement is system should post to the quality stock Five days prior to Retest date, Inspection lot will be created around 60 Days prior to the retest date .

Here the requirement is Stock posting should happen 5 days prior to the Retest date.
In Standard we cont achieve this.
In Standard Program is not considering the Initial run in days Dates While executing the Posting from UN restricted to Quality stock.
I am going for the Abap Development SUCH a way that by keeping initial run days as 5 and by choosing the OPTION ": TO inspection stock at Inspection date
Please correct me if I am wrong.
I havenu2019t seen the Creation of MATERIAL DOCUMENT, PRIOR TO the Posting Date and I havenu2019t seen any later stock postings.
Still I am not understood your concept about the Material Document cancellation concept
Please explain in Detail.

Retest date calculation

Hello Friends,
what logic system applies for Retest date calculation? which date it considers to add to Inspection Interval ? Does it apply the same logic to calculate Retest date during second time of test i.e. Inspection lot is created due to recurring inspection.

Hi Mahesh,
System calculate the Retest Date on the basis of GR Date.
Eg. if you gave the inspection Interval as 30 days & the GR is prepared on 1st day of month then the next recurring inspection lot creates on 1st day of next month if the stock is available.

As my sceniro is not shelf life, i required retest date (recurring inspection date) of materials laying in the storage locations. for better clarity i am describing my sceniro. In MM01- Quality Management- Inspection interval - 365 days entered for all ROH type materials. Now how can i see the materials retest date laying ( Only Stock batches) in the storage location.

Please guide me how to make my laptop to its original state from manufacturer

Good day all!
Awhile ago I had a problem to login. Windows start-up was normal but i couldnt login to my user. So i had to perform start-up repair but still my bootmngr was corrupt. some file was missing. I had to format it with regular copy of windows 7 boot cd. I performed quick format for only C drive wich contains OS. Recovery drive (D) and HP tools(H) drive all were untouched.
After the format i installed all drivers but I cant use my laptop as it was like before (from manufacturer). Before I did factory restore(reset) using files from recovery drive.
Now I cant do factory reset even i have recovery drive.
How i can make my laptop (OS and all keyboard and touchpad settings) as it came from manufacturer.
Now i cant use even my biometric.
Any Ideas.
PS : Recovery drive has all 21gb and its 2 gb free. as it seems all factory data is there. But i cant do factory reset from now installed windows 7 home premium 64 bit

If you set the recovery partition to active by use of Windows 7 Disk Management mmc, you should be able to boot to the HP Recovery Manager and preform a factory image recovery. (mmc = Microsoft management Console)
Click on the Windows Orb and type in disk management. Click on the icon that appears to use the disk Management mmc.

Transfer of goods from Manufacturing Plant to Sales Depot plant

Hi,
The Client is having Manufacturing Plant and Depo Plant wherein the goods shall be transported to Depo with Exice Invoice and sold from there without any excise duty.
As per SAP best practice, we have maintained the Price Control as 'S' in the Manufacturing Plant and 'V' at the Depo level.
The Client requires that the valuation of Finished goods at the Depo level should be inclusive of the excise duty paid when the material is despatched from Manufacturing plant to Depo.
How the excise duty paid amount can be loaded on to the material value and then sent to Depot?.
Please offer your valuable suggestions on this issue.

In manufacturing plant the stock transfer material's price control should be S and V for Depot material.
And configure Excise duty as condition type in Stock transfer Purchase order, which will automatically change the moving average price.

My Client has requirement that after expiration of manufacturer's guarantee, the repairer guarantee start and end dates should be updated in equipment master data.
In this case how to track both manufacturer's guarantee and repairer's guarantee .
Please suggest solution to map this process.

As a standard, you can assign two warranties to an equipment:
Vendor Warranty and
Customer Warranty
So you can use Customer Warranty as Repair Warranty.

New Batch Management & Retest Dates

Dear SAP Techies,
For my Pharma company, batch management needs to be activated for the materials which are not batch managed(some are managed) as of now.
'For that matter,the current stock of such materials needs to be consumed temporarily and needs to be brought back to the system in a single batch after activating the batch management.
Then the inspection type u201C09u201D needs to be added and activated and inspection interval needs to be defined.'
This was solution given by SAP Team.
But can someone help me as HOW SHOULD I CONSUME STOCK TEMPORARILY & BE BROUGHT BACK IN BATCHES.?
ALSO HOW TO ACTIVATE SCHEDULING OF "NEXT INSPECTION DATE" FOR BATCH MANAGED PHARMA GOODS.?
It would be grateful if you all can help on this. Thank you.

You have two separate issues here.
The first issue here is activating batch management for a material of which there is inventory. This is not easy. There are many threads out there on this. Here's two of them.

Basically you have to remove your inventory of the material from the system via a material movement like 562, activate batch management, then bring the material back like via a 561 movement type. You can reload the inventory using 561 directly into the batches you want to create from your exisiting inventory or as SAP suggested, load it as a single batch, then use standard stock movements to transfer the inventory into the actual batches.
Once you do that, you must update the batch records with the proper expiration dates, (MSC2N) for your exisitng inventory.
As far as reinspection, there are many threads on setting that up. Here are some to get you started.

Excise Invoice Error in STO from Manufacturing to Manufacturing Plant

Hi,
This is a scenario of Intracompany (within a company) STO from one manufacturing to another manufacturing Plant. Steps involved are
ME21N: STO Creation with doc type UB
VL10B: Outbound Delivery
VL02N: PGI (Mvt Type 641)
VF01: Billing
J1IIN: Excise Invoice
MIGO: Goods Receipt in Receiving Plant
The problem is while doing Goods Receipt (MIGO) wrf Outbound Delivery in Receiving Plant when we refer the Excise Invoice (created in J1IIN) we are getting an error message as u201CExcise Invoice 2000000033 31.05.2011 of Vendor 1300003 does not exist for Referenceu201D
Customer and Vendor master for the plants as well as STO configuration seems to be complete but still we are getting this error message.
Can anyone provide some idea how to resolve this?

If I am not wrong in J1IIN ,you get two number ,one will be internal number try to capture with internal number

Trying to add a network printer. I downloaded and installed driver from manufacturer, but mac still reporting error

I need to install a printer on my Macbook Pro. I downloaded and installed the driver from the manufacturer, Brother MFC 7820N. Then clicked the plus on add printer from System Preferences. I selected the printer I want to add as a nearby printer and the name and location populated.
The printer widget tells me it is looking for software to install. I already installed the software. Then I get an error saying it can't find software on the apple support server. When I try to select software to install, the dialog box is empty, so I can't select the software I downloaded.
I'm dead in the water.

Dear Team
We intend to open a Manufacturer's Depot in XYZ for catering the customer from there itself.
To carry out this activity, we need to stock transfer of Finished goods to the new depot on payment of applicable Excise duty from our factory and then bill it to the customer on passing on the same excise duty on an invoice as & when required by the customers.
For this purpose we need to issue the invoice from depot itself as a dealer invoice and maintain a register called RG23D as per the provisions of the excise currently.

Can i use seagate goflex 3tb external hard drive for 2010 27" imac internal hard drive replacment if i take it out of the goflex case.do i need to format it before installation due to it allready having goflex software on it from manufacturer.

i have 3tb seagate goflex external hard drive.its brand new in package.i took it out of case and deleted partitions that were created by manufacturer.so now i have 2800 gigs.its formatted ntfs.will it work for late 2010 27" imac internal hard drive replacement.i found a apple repair place that will charge me 50$ to swap drives for me assuming i have the drive.i will have to install leopard myself at this price.i dont want to have to pay for anything other than the swap.will this hard drive work with this format or do i need to format it differently.
