Retina 5K w iPhoto 9.6 will not send photo to Epson XP-810 Series printer

Retina 5K w iPhoto 9.6 will not send photo to Epson XP-810 Series printer. Eternal/Infernal Beachball starts immediately and the system is frozen. Requires hard shutdown to clear and regain control of computer operation. I can export photos to my Desktop and print out of the Preview App, but that isn't really satisfactory.
I also have had an intermittent problem of not being able to send an email with pictures attached from within the iPhoto - this problem extends back to Mountain Lion days.
I have checked for Epson XP-810 Series s/w downloads both on the Epson site and the Apple App Store, and I appear to have the most current version.

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

When you said you went to Settings and everything seems good. Does that mean the MMS was turned on? If so, and this is only being experienced when dealing with SMS/MMS, then you should contact your carrier to have them check to make sure your account is provisioned for MMS, and that everything is alright with your account. SMS/MMS is a carrier function.

Old Mac Pro with 7.0 iPhoto transferred selected photo albums to my iPad. New iMac with iPhoto 11.0 will not transfer photo albums to my iPad. Why not?

I just purchased the new iMac with the latest iPhoto. Transferred my iPhoto library from my old Mac Pro. Upgraded iPhoto app and then tried to transfer photo albums to my iPad. New iPhoto will not allow transfer of selected albums, while old iPhoto did allow me to sync my selected albums to my iPad. Am I doing something wrong?

I do not have Last 12 Months selected. I also do not have Events or Faces or any of those newer designations selected. I have literally thousands of photographs in iPhoto, which is why I keep the select, special few hundred or so I want on my iPhone in very specific albums. These are the albums I select to sync. However, not all of the photos in these albums are uploading to my iPhone. They were on my iPhone and synced perfectly fine until the switch to the new laptop this weekend. All files were migrated to the new laptop, and all files are there and viewable on iPhoto. Something is causing some of the photos not to sync. That is what I need assistance with....

I used Migration Assistant to successfully bring that batch over from iPhoto v.8 on a laptop running OSX 10.5.8.
I want to add the older photos to my new iMac so all my pics are in one place.
I already tried to copy all the folders in iPhotoLibrary to my new desktop. iPhoto 11 doesn't import or recognize them if they are copied to new iphoto folder.

Copy the old Library to the New mac.
Open it with iPhoto 11 - this will upgrade it to an 11 Library.
Use iPhoto Library Manager ($20) to merge the Libraries.
It's the only way to merge libraries.

Android smartphone will not send pic or 7520 hp photosmart or printer won't print pics

I have an android smartphone and a 7520 HP Photosmart eprinter that is connected to my router at home. When I try to send a pic from my cell phone to the printer all I get back is a piece of paper that says Sent from my Verizon Wireless G4 LTE Smartphone, no picture. Does anyone know what i need to do to get a picture out of my phone to print from my printer? Thanks

Hi there, how are you sending the photo from the device to the printer i.e. using a print app or sending an email to the printers email address? The most convenient way to do it is by installing the free HP ePrint mobile print app from the Google Play Store on the device. Once installed press the photos icon and navigate to the image you want to print. Your printer and the mobile device will need to be on the same WiFI network and if this is the case the app should find the printer and you can go ahead and print. Iphoto will not send photos by email?

Help - I have checked all the previous comments on the above issue and have tried the majority of them to no avail. I have checked another computer's details that now seems to work fine against my own. I have checked Mail preferences and iPhoto preferences ensuring that all the details were the same.
Have tried deleting iCloud from iPhoto and re-adding, and changing password to ensure it complies. Run disk utilities and checked that all is okay but still nothing seems to work. I did transfer from mobile me to iCloud but initially all seemed to work ok, have used the same system for years without any problems, then all of a sudden it stops working.
My outgoing server is smtp.me.com have tried adding mail to it but that does note work.
I use the book facility for holiday photos sending them off to Apple via iPhoto but fear unless I can get this working again may not be able to use this either.
Would appreciate it if anyone else has any ideas what I can try.

in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

Iphoto opens but will not display photos, just spins

nto sure what happened, opened iphoto and it opens fine, but the processing circle just spins. I shut the program and the computer down to not resolve. its not the color wheel but the other one.

Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library database

Elements 11 will not send photos by e-mail.

I don't know what good tutorials or books on the subject of Photoshop do for others, but nothing seems to help me do the simplest of tasks on my software. I don't know how to contact the technical people at adobe, so I am just lost. I used to use paintshop pro, but adobe came loaded in my computer and I am trying to use it. Not very successfully. I also have trouble importing photos from my Cannon T3i without having them load on the computer hard drive first. Little about this Elements software seems to work right. Any help, or suggestions, short of getting a new computer would help. Computer is an HP Envy series. Supposed to be a good unit.

Despite following all the requested protocols elements 9 will not send photos via photomail

I had this problem once before in elements 8 and I cant remember how the problem was resolved in the end. I've just replaced my PC, so had to re-download elements 9 . This particular copy didn't automatically import my pictures as usual and once I got over that problem immediately ran into the photomail refusal
I have gone through preferences/sharing and chosen windows live mail ( I'm on win 7) managed to import my contacts but I just keep getting the message

ridiculously long serial No checked it goodness knows how many times but still it wouldn't work. I do hope someone knows what to do because sending pics is the most important thing (to me) in photoshop

Hope you have configured the Windows mail on your new PC, because the error you mentioned is received when the Email is not configured on the system.

my ipnone 4 suddenly won't send photos in a txt msg. I've tried rebooting but no luck. It worked fine the other day.

Reset network settings in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Sometimes something hinky goes on with the cell coverage, and that's one way to try to fix it.

Contact your carrier and make sure there's not a problem.
In settings, make sure you've not turned MMS off.

Fax attachment will not send in B1

Hi, I am having problems sending Fax attachments in B1. When I send faxes with attachments it will not send the attachment to my Microsoft Fax Printer. I end up getting the red ' X ' mark in my sent messages window in B1. However, am able to send faxes without attachments. I can also send emails with attachments in B1. But Faxes with attachments just doesn't seem to work.
I did the following to no avail.
SBO MAILER:
- Schedule (Interval set to 0 Minutes to send right away)
- Settings ( Microsoft Fax Server is directed to the correct name Fax Server with MS fax. I also tried the IP address)
- Connection ( Has all the correct and proper information)
- Database (Pointed to all relevant databases)
- 'Services' in Windows (SBO messaging services) is up and running.
-logged into windows with administrator rights
-defined attachments in B1 in testing various directories both (local and server locations)
- I have also installed and tested with adobe reader versions (4, 7, and 8) and still nothing
I checked my Event Viewer --> Applications in Windows and I receive an SBOmailer error every time I send an fax with an attachment in B1. Under descriptions: It gives me the error "Operation failed."

Hi,
I had the same problem but not in the fax service but in the mailer. My problem was a network issue in the outgoing server configuration and the privileges of all users in the B1_SHR folder.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Then, hold the Option key down when trying to open iPhoto, does it ask where it's Library is? Or what exactly happens?

Are you seeing this
when you double click on a thumbnail file? If so it's an indication that the file path/link between the thrumbnail and original, full sized file has been broken. Therefore, and assuming you're running iPhoto 9 or later, try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
