Retina Pro 13" 10.8 Facebook click to post does nothing.

This is a brand new laptop, just got it like 3 days ago. The notifications center has the click to face book button, and I"m receiving notificaitons from facebook.
But when i click on the "Click to post" for facebook, it does absolutely nothing. What gives? I have 10.8.2 and I can't install any other updates. Please help.

Seriously? Nobody has this problem or know how to help resolve this?

Turn off your iPad and put it in recovery mode. Try to restore it via iTunes.

I can't find creative cloud on my desktop and double clicking the app does nothing.

Can you please try and restart your machine and then check ? If nothing happens , please navigate to Utilities> Adobe installers to find Creative cloud installer or go to Applications > Creative Cloud > Creative Cloud uninstaller and then uninstall the product from there .
once done with the uninstallation ,please browse to Creative.adobe.com and then reinstall the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app .

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

It is most likely because Notification Center alters the menu bar and the dock itself. My facebook and my twitter button won't work properly either, but when i double-click the buttons it works. but i can't understand why your twitter button works once but won't work again.

No, it's not an issue with SL, Lion, ML, or Mavericks. I have Quicktime Pro registered to all of these versions.
It's not seen in other forum threads because it's not a problem.
After you enter the Registration Code, just press Tab, don't press Enter first.

"Roll over to try, click to apply" does nothing

I just did the latest Firefox update - no problems - but once again, after the last 2 or 3 or more updates, the "Roll over to try, click to apply" option to try out the new 'personas" does nothing. I remember when they first came out and I could roll over them and see all the cool personas. I never actually chose to apply one but now, as I said, when I rollover, nothing happens. I'd like to still see what they do. If so, maybe I'll eventually actually apply one. Any idea why it doesn't work?

After updating to v. 24.0 (and restarting) ALL add-ons (regardless whether they work or not) are marked "(disabled)", and clicking Enable button does nothing

After updating to v. 24.0 (and restarting, several times) ALL add-ons (regardless whether they work or not) are marked "(disabled)". I tried clicking "Enable" button for each add-on and nothing happened. There is only one add-on which is marked as incompatible with this version (but it was also incompatible with previous version, and so marked).
Clicking "Update Add-ons", gives a short list of add-ons but "Install Updates" button is pale and doesn't work. I can only sort list by name or last update.
Also, I disabled Ask Toolbar and that went well. When I click "Enable" button (button works ONLY for this add-on) it takes forever to get note: “Ask Toolbar will be enabled after you restart Firefox”, I used to get this info in seconds time before this update. (I do not really want Ask Toolbar, I just used it to see whether if I disable and then enable an add-on might do the trick.)
Bottom line – I can not tell if add-on works (i.e. if it is enabled or disabled) unless I try using it.
Even when I posted this question and installed Troubleshooter, it's also marked as "(disabled)"

In FF29, clicking on tabs does nothing

After installing FF29 strange things had changed.
1. The yellow button in the upper left corner, used instead of the menubar, had disappeared.
2. The tabbar cannot me moved to below the bookmarks bar.
3. The chrome of all tabs is identical and borders are hardly to see.
4. MOST OF ALL: clicking on tabs have no effect at all.
Does someone know an answer on at least item 4??

Unified Accounts only lets me read one acount although it shows the email of the other account to click on but clicking on it does nothing nor marks it read..

I have two accounts unified and both email address go to the unified account folder, but the one doesn't let me click on it to open it. If I double click it it opens but never marks it as read. The only way to mark these read is to go to that separate account and read it there.

Are you sure that these Apps were not purchased using another Apple ID...

If you have one of the public-domain books provided by Project Gutenberg (these are books published many years ago and which have therefore fallen out of copyright, such as the Dickens and Jane Austin books), you should be able to open it using Calibre:

Double clicking .jar file does nothing!

Hello i am wondering, how to run a .jar file by double clicking it?
After creating the jar file and by typing javaw.exe -jar ledger.jar in command prompt in windows 7 works fine for my swing application.
I created a .bat file which has javaw.exe -jar ledger.jar also works fine.
But when i double clicking the ledger.jar is not working, not giving any error, not even doing anything.
I tried associating .jar file with java or javaw then also nothing happens.
My questions are:
1) What i have to do to execute the .jar file by double clicking it?
2) Why java is not so user friendly to the end users especially in Desktop Applications?

Replying to my own question. Here's what I've discovered. If 'Favorites' is the last thing you viewed (under the 'Phone' icon), then double-clicking the Home button will do nothing. If, on the other hand, 'Contacts' is the last thing you've viewed under 'Phone', then double-clicking the Home button will take you to favorites.
Still, a piece of iphone behavior that seems buggy to me.

This may not help, but the first thing I'd suggest is to get a good antispyware checker and give it a go at your system. Some recent spyware has been reported by other users to shut down iTunes or prevents it from launching. From user reports, Ewido seems to be the best at catching it.
