Retractor to R/3 FM module

I would like to know if there are any standard retractors available to retract the BPS Budget data into R/3 FM module ?? and what are the steps to retract data to R/3 FM ??

Retractor for Statistical Key Figures Not Sending Values

I have configured the standard retractor for primary costs and stat key figures based on all the documentation. Primary costs retract perfectly. Stat Key Figures do not send over the values.
I have configured UPBR_RETRACT with UPB_RET_STKEYFIG. In the update rules the only thing I have changed is assigned ZRATENU to 0BPS_PRICE and 0QUANTITY to 0BPS_QUANTITY. I copied the delivered planning level 4EXP0004 to a Z level assigned to my custom cube. In UPBR_STRUCT I assigned to the correct structures /1SEM/_YS_CHAS_210ZEXP0004 and /1SEM/_YS_KYFS_210ZEXP0004.
From BPS, when I run the retractor I get the message that "Retraction: Update completed without errors. Number of records:   56". All of this tells me things are running fine. My parameter group is setup as follows:
Retr. R/3 Comp.          6
Retractor Control          3
Delta Update          0
Destination          DE1CLNT209
Test mode Is Active          0
I go over to ECC and look at KP46. The stat key figures by cost center have been transferred but the planned values all show 0. When I go to table COSR, I see 0 in the planned fields.
Has anyone had this issue and do they know how to solve it?

Can u explain, what are the keyfigures that are not getting retracted to R/3?
If quantities and Unit of measure is not getting retracted, you will have to apply the note 889634. Check once.
If you are using the function modules UPR_COST_PLAN_INIT and UPR_COST_PLAN_EXECUTE, then make sure that you pass only Object Currency (0AMOCCC) values to it, as it supports only those.

BPS CCA Retractor setup

Hi All,
I am new to BPS and and am trying to set up the functionality for Retraction of data from SEM to R/3.
But when I go to the transaction (as mentioned in SAP Help)
Business Analytics -> Financial Analytics -> Cost Center Planning -> Cost Center Planning Administration,
I am not able to find the same.
I am working on SEM-BW 4.0 and BI_CONT 3.5, is the same transaction replaced with the one mentioned below here
Business Analytics -> Financial Analytics -> Cost Center Planning -> Customizing -> Settings in the Planning Environment
Moreover if I try to go to Settings in the Planning Environment, it gives me the error message as below:
Planning profile 4EXPPL01 does not exist
Message no. UPC_FW050
Can anybody suggest what am I missing. Thanks for your help in advance

I could activate the Content using the option that you had suggested, but am still stuck up with the Retractor setup.
I have done the steps as mentioned in SAP Help, but have not been able to retract data into R/3.
Below are the steps that I did and the problem :
1. Select one of the existing planning levels the selection of which contains data that you want to transfer back into the operational system, or create a suitable planning level.
2. Create a planning function of the type exit in the context of the planning level you selected.
3. Enter the names of the function modules in the fields intended for this:
Function module = UPR_COST_PLAN_EXEC
FM initialization = UPR_COST_PLAN_INIT
4. Make the assignments of parameters to data elements under Parameter Exit Functions:
5. In the list of fields to be changed, selected the following characteristics:
Cost center (0COSTCENTER)
Cost element (0COSTELMNT)
6. Create a parameter group for the planning function.
7. In the parameter group, entered the parameters created in the context of the function.
8. To start the retraction, select a package of the planning level and then execute the function with the parameter group.
Once I execute the package I get the following message
27 data records were read, 0 of them were changed, 0 generated
Message no. UPC224
Having done the above, I am not clear
what are the steps to be executed subsequent to this, and if I need to create the sender structure where and how I could create the same.
Moreover once the data is retracted into R/3 is it visible in transaction directly in KP06/KP07 or do I need to view the same in some other transaction/table or is there some processing step involved there also.

Implementation of Custom Retractor in Cost Center Planning

I am facing a problem regarding Implementation of Custom Retractor.
In our Project TM1 Server which is presently existing is to be replaced by BI server for Cost Center Planning.
The value needs to be retracted back to the R/3 server for poplutaing the Source Table fields.
Now our Business requirement is best suited by implementing a Custom Retractor which would fetch the data from
BI back to R/3 Server.I have some queries regarding this implementation.
1> The Data load Function Module & Post Data Load Function Module which is implemented for Data loadinf into R/3 server
is written in which server (BI / R3)? If its written in R3 as the case seems them how the BI table type needs to be declared in the
function module?
2> What the Function Module is returning ..is it directly updating the DB table or returning a structure?
Our project is still in the Realisation Phase....So no development has began yet....

Standard Retractor does not satisfy the Business requirement in full.
The RFC connection you have suggested is what we are implementing through RSPLAN function Type creation.
In the RSPLAN we are implementing a Class which will fetch the Data from the Infoobject.
This infoobject will be fed from the target Infocube. After this Class getting populated Mapping will be done b/w BI source fields and the R/3 source fields.
Now the problem arise when a Function Module needs to be created that will actually bring the data to R/3 side.
The server where Data Load function Module is to written is still unknown to me..
The Function Module Return type is also unknown...
As this is totally customised we have to identify the return type for submission of Blueprint...
Kindly refer to this link we are implementing this same steps only on different scenario...

Function module searched: Data extraction from BW to R/3?

Hello everybody,
has anyboday any idea on which function module or function group could be used for data extraction from BW to R/3?I have seen some threads,and found the function group RSAX which is actually for extraction from R/3 to BW,is it also suitable for the other direction(BW to R/3)?
I have looked for this topic for a long time,but so far no success...
Would you like to give me some hints?

It's going to be an extraction to specific application in R/3 - couldn't be any universal extractor - applications have their own specific.
But you can try application specific retractors, as examples look here:

Error in CCA Retractor

Hi there,
This time I had strange messages while implementing CCA retractor and found following -
Error - You have no authorisation to change planning of Cost center DE1010511.
When I debugged found that below function module was throwing errors.
BAPI_COSTACTPLN_CHECKPRIMCOST
Does this mean that I dont have access to this cost center or its the ALEREMOTE user?
Anybody has an idea on this.?

Hi Rai,
Your RFC connection user Id does not have the authorisation for the cost center planning in the target system. If you give the necessary authorisation, it should work.

IM Retractor

I'm trying to feed Business Unit related data through the IM retractor. I have BA in my planning area but it does not make it over to R/3 IM. Also, is there anyway to feed the IM 'free fields' in an appropriation request to R/3 IM?

I had problems with the IM retractor and this note was very helpful for me. It´s 503399 SAP note.
Symptom
You report an error with the IM/PS pushback functions for planning and budget values from the SEM-BPS:
The system does not transfer the values correctly to the R/3 IM/PS.
The specific error cause is still unclear. Therefore, the problem has to be preanalysed. You might only lack documentation for the pushback functions.
This note explains steps for a more effective preanalysis of such problems by yourself or by the SAP service employees. Problems which have been preanalysed sufficiently can be assigned better to the responsible experts and thus they reduce the processing times.

The pushback functions from the SEM in the IM/PS area are delivered with the following releases:

1. Read the information on the pushback functions in the documentation. You can find the documentation for the pushback functions in the SEM as function module documentation using Transaction SE37 in the German and the English language for the following function modules:

Program items
UPB_CI_PUSHBACK_PR
WBS elements.

2. Attempt to reproduce the problem with as few objects and data records as possible before you activate the help for the error analysis by restrictions in the package selection and level selection for the pushback function.
               The help for the error analysis has not been designed for the analysis with mass data!
3. Activation of help for the error analysis.
                        In the SEM via the parameter group
                        Include parameter DEBUGFLG, data element FLAG, in the definition of the planning function for the pushback using Transaction BPSO and set the parameter to 'X' in the used parameter group.
                        The help for the error analysis is now active.
                        In the R/3 System by debugging
                        Set a breakpoint onto the the RFC call of the specified function in the R/3 System for the respective object in the specified respective FORM routine of function group UPB_CI_01 in the SEM:

b) IT_PR/IQ/IP (Master data)
                        Here, the system displays the master data read from the R/3 System for the objects, which have been transferred from the pushback. In particular, here you can find the assignment of the external ID of the object for the object number in the R/3 system (OBJNR).
c) ET_BPGE_DELTA (SEM values)
                        Here, the system displays the values which have been transferred from the SEM-BPS after the conversion into the database structure of R/3 table BPGE for the total values of the plan and budget.
d) ET_BPJA_DELTA (SEM values)
                        Here, the system displays the values which have been transferred from the SEM-BPS after the conversion into the database structure of R/3 table BPJA for the annual values of plan and budget.
e) IT_BPGE_OLD (R/3 values)
                        Here, the system displays the old total values of plan and budget which have been read by R/3 database table BPGE for the objects transferred from the pushback.
f) IT_BPJA_OLD (R/3 values)
                        Here, the system displays the old total values of plan and budget which have been read by database table BPJA for the objects transferred from the pushback.
g) ET_BPGE_DELTA (SEM values - R/3 values)
                        Here, the system displays the difference between the
                        old values in the R/3 system and the new values in the SEM-BPS, which has been transferred to the budget processor to be posted, in the database structure of R/3 table BPGE for the total values of plan and budget.

5. Are the activated master data, which have been loaded into the BW system for the objects transferred from the pushback, correct?
               The following master data and attributes might be read by the pushback functions:

You can have the table entries for the master data displayed via Transaction RSD1 in the BW system for the corresponding InfoObject: Master data/Texts / Master data tab / Utilities / Table contents / display.
The pushback only analyses the activated entries for the master data, entries with object version A (field OBJVERS)!
6. In case, you cannot correct the problem via the preanalysis, report in the problem notification how the problem can be reproduced:
Planning area, planning level, package and parameter group for the pushback.
How can the values, which have been transferred during the pushback,
be displayed in the SEM-BPS? A planning layout to display the values in the planning area of the planning function for the pushback would be
be useful for the analysis.

Mixing memory modules on Westmere

Adobe Bridge CS6 for mac: export modules, facebook export module gives an error every time i try to sign in

in the export module for facebook every time i click "sign in to facebook" it gives the following error: "An error occurred while request facebook connection"

The export module has been discontinued in Bridge CC and as long as it has been there the option for social media has worked only for FB in a few countries. Due to rights management (as we where told) there where restrictions for most other countries. But if it did work for you in the past you should try click on FB in export module or use the tiny menu icon in the export panel for preferences and try to set up a new connection.

FileName in Sender File Adapter Module

Hi Folks,
In my sender file adapter have written a module to read the picked file name. The protocol used is NFS.
Notice that the file name read in the module has the absolute path, including the directory path. E.g The file name xyz has to be picked from source directory
XIServer\Outbound. In the module when I retrieve the file name, it comes up as
XIServer\Outbound\xyz. Is this expected behaviour?
I was expecting just the file name<xyz> to be retrieved.

How do I use the Web module to upload video to my website?

I'm using the Lightroom HTML gallery to upload my photos, fine and dandy, very happy with it. I also have some videos trimmed in Lightroom that I want incorporated into the gallery. This doesn't seem to be happening, instead I just get thumbnails. What/how do I incorporate my video clips into my web gallery? I moved over from jAlbum so I could have a simple one-tool workflow, so I'm really hoping that this is possible.

You can combine stills and video for output to h.264 (mp4 file) for example to upload to Youtube or Vimeo.
FTP upload will be subject to the limitations of your host. The web module within Lightroom creates all resources to link to the file index.html
The forthcoming LR6 is anticipated to have HTML5 galleries.

Code returns "null" and "0"s in main module - why?

I am coding a program that is in two modules. The main module serves it's standard function. The inventory class/module has three functions - 1) request stock input on 4 data points (1 String and 3 integers, one of which is a double) - 2) calculate the value of the inventory, and - 3) return string which reads out the 4 data points and the calculation showing the total value of the inventory. I've created the 3 functions in the inventory class/module, but obviously don't have them referring to each other correctly because when we come to the end of the program the output is null for the String and "0"s for the int/doubles. The code is below - any ideas about how to overcome the empty output? The code compiles fine and acts like it is going to work, but when it comes to the final command line it outputs
"null, which is item number 0, has 0 currently in stock at a price of 0.00 each. The total value of inventory in stock is 0.00"

I think that is because once the original input was loaded into the program (when I entered product number, name, price and value), the entries were dropped when the code switched to the next step. I think your intuition is entirely correct. In particular look at what your original main() method does (my comments replacing yours):

It might sense, though to call totalValue() at the end your input method (because at that point the total value has changed). Or do away with that method - which you worked on getting right in your other thread ;)

More text options in Print Module

It's frustrating to be able to do just about everything in LR - but not quite. I'd like more text options for the printing module. For example, when I'm printing a limited edition print, I put the edition number in the bottom left corner, under the image, within the border of the print. The title goes in the middle, slighty larger font, and then possibly a watermark.
I can use the Identity Plate to create a nice looking title, but the Photo Info will only print in the middle with no options for positioning it anywhere else, or no options for other fonts.

I would second this proposal..... with a serious passion. I think it is unbelievable that Adobe will not provide us with the option to print the metadata with our images.
The current metadata print options are in the dark ages, a joke and an insult to anyone trying to put a proper caption on a printed image. For example, one cannot currently control the postion or font of a basic caption, never mind a considered template which might incorporate copyright, date, author, etc.. I also make folios (ala Lenswork). Unfortunately, a detour to PS also means that this must be done manually, rather than using a template. Adobe have all the tools to make this work, many of them are in the Slideshow module, so already the code is inside Lightroom. It is so sad that a company like Blurb can provide these tools free of charge in free software, but Adobe seem incapable of providing these basic features. I was disappointed they were not in version 1, frustrated when missing from version 2 and apoplectic when not in version 3. I might excuse the omission if I could build a template in PS which allowed me to place text from the metadata into a formattted page layout, but this is not possible either. So despite the fact I have purchased both Lightroom and Photoshop, and paid for upgrade after upgrade of both products, this basic facility is still missing.
I can only deduce that people in Adobe print images in two modes.
1) a lonely image in approx middle of the page with no text formatting or
2) an image in draft mode with a caption and a name plate and uncontolled other text in ad hoc placements (totally unsuitable for presenting to a client).
I would put this requirement ahead of so many other popular requests (even ahead of requests such as networked storage, soft proofing, etc). I can mention other software products who do a really good job of printing meta data with images, do serious work on sharpening, etc. for a fraction of the cost of the Lightroom / Photoshop combination. Becasue I am on an Adobe site I will not mention the names of these non Adobe products. If these small companies can solve this problem, surely Adobe can do so as well.
I also find that I cannot trust the page setup templates that I do create. It seems to me that many of the properties (ie page size, orientation, matt / gloss options) disappear without warning. I suspect this happens when I have problems printing to networked Epson printers (maybe others, but I only use Epson ...with Windows 7.) This is very frustrating when my template changes from Matt in to Gloss, with subsequent wasted of ink and frustration and lost time in correcting and re-updating the template.
Adobe, please finish the Print Module. I do not want any more glitzy updates to publishing to the most recent social media exchange medium. Can we not get basic printing working first.

Mixing RAM Modules

Several weeks ago, I replaced my 256 MB RAMs with 2 1 GB modules in a late 2005 G5. They seemed to work fine, though my GPU seemed to be running a bit hotter. I just installed an additional 2 GB bought from OWC, and also added back the 2 original 256 MBs to bring my total to 4.5.
Looking in System Profiler, I see that my original 256s and the latest 1 GB modules are PC2-4200U-444, as specified in the online compatibility guide. I see the I GB modules from my first upgrade are PC2-3200U-288.
I bought them at a local shop- for way too much money, by the way - and was told that the number printed on them was wrong and they were compatible with my model. Is that right, or this a problem?

Hi! The PC2-4200 modules are the correct ones and you shouldn't run anything slower. You can run faster ones but you shouldn't run slower ones or mix speeds. And if the computer sees them as the slower ones then most likely they are! Tom

I am about to buy a Mac Mini and I am on a tight budget. The one thing I want to do for sure is upgrade the memory, but I'm in a quandary of sorts given my budget. The retailer where I want to buy the Mini from only sells the appropriate RAM for the Mini in 2gig modules. So here's my question: I know it is possible to mix the stock 1gig stick with a 2gig stick to get 3 gig of RAM total, but will it be worth it to me? I realize that the best configuration would be to slap in 2 2gig modules in and just be done with it, but with 3gig, would I be appreciatively shooting myself in the foot and killing the machine's performance, or wouldn't I notice? I need to have the memory installed at purchase because I am physically handicapped and adding the memory myself is out of the question. And after researching how to replace memory on the Mini, I wouldn't have the courage to ask anybody I know to attempt to do it after buying it. Is mixing RAM modules a good idea?

Nope, I am not confused, There does have generation between Mac mini model. Maybe not official, but we all know. Check About This Mac ---> More Info ---> Model Identifier : Macmini2,1 (That means, 2nd generation)
Macmini 3,x (means 3rd generation I supposed)
And the 3rd generation doesn't support Dual Channel, referred to Crucial.com
