Hi,
I'm looking for some help. I recently sync'd my husbands new iphone on my computer. He had an itouch before and we wanted to transfer that info to the new phone. So I restored his new phone to the old itouch. In the process he loss all the new photos and videos he had taken since getting his new phone (like 2 months worth of stuff). Can I get that data back? Help! I need those photos. I read the info is deleted and not erased ... or vice versa, can I get that back?
If you've restored from a backup, then all data that was previously on it is completely erased, as it tells you when you restore and it tells you that all data will be erased.

It is normally quite difficult to physically "delete" PO, GR and IR. GR and IR are canceled, which means both the original document and the cancellation document can be found in the system.
PO's get the deletion flag on the items (the trash bin) and also can still be seen in the system.
Physical deletion of objects from SAP can only be achieved by "archiving". If archiving has been set up properly, you can later view the archived objects. If not, they are gone.

I accidentally erased all my data from my external hard drive. Data included pictures, documents and movies. They are so important to me! Is there any possiblity for me to retrieve the files?!
So you deleted all the files and then emptied the trash already with them in there? Are they backed up anywhere for you to restore from?
There are 3rd party data recovery programs you can buy to try and restore the data, the success of the program recovering everything is not 100% and the program's success is decreased if you continued to write to the hard drive (by adding content) after the mass purge.
I've used Prosoft Data Rescue 3 with success in the past - http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php
You can find it for as low as $75 on the 'net if you shop around. To put it into perspective, data recovery service will run you (potentially) 7-10x more. -

A very odd result...removing the app should not touch the actual backup files, unless perhaps you allowed the backup files to store in the same folders on your computer as the app itself (bad practice under any circumstances).
As with anything deleted, restoration depends on having a source. If you were backing up your computer, then your source should be there. Depending on the method the backup files were deleted with, they may be in the computer Recycle Bin. Depending on how long it's been since you deleted the files, you may be able to procure some file recovery software for your computer (be quick...the longer you wait, the more likely the files cannot be recovered).
Basically, this is a computer problem...not a BB problem.

Retrieve deleted standard table data
HI,
I was debugging the transaction F110 for analysing a certain requirement and changed some data in debugging mode. Somehow program SAPF110R was triggered which deleted the table content of the following tables:

reguh
regup
regus
reguc
reguhh
regupo
regua
rfdt
If anybody has encountered such a situation before, please help me in retrieving the data.Your only hope is for a system backup.
You could have the system backed up to another bit of hardware, and checkout the difference between the tables in the backup and the current status. -

Everything that was on your classic should also have been in your library, and that backed up to another drive. If you manually managed the device, and it was the only location holding your playlists, and it has become corrupted, there really isn't much hope. See Corrupt iPod classic. There may be a chance to recover media stored on it if is isn't stored elsewhere.

Why don't you use the fully-qualified-domain-name (FQDN) of your GW and perform a re-direct to this ?
This should be known (and everytime the same), addtionally you won't have any problems if there's any load balancer in between or in fron of the GWs.
Secondly you'll have problems to get the IP -address if there's any proxy server involved.

From within the Pages app, no. If you have an iTunes or iCloud backup that would have contained the file, and you are backing up Pages, it could be received via a restore using that backup (this would wipe out any newer data however).

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. I have a custom application that does some windows directory cleaning based an older than 'X' days setting. I have to do some calculation to determine if the file being processed is older than that number of day and delete it if it is. To determine the file created date I use the method DIRECTORY_LIST_FILES from CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES. This works great in the foreground but dumps in the background because the handle object reference is not created in the class constructor and subsequently does a call to a "NULL" object.
My question:
Does anyone know of a way to get the date a file was created while running in the background? If not, please read on --- I have another question regarding an alternate approach I am trying.
I have tried the following approach FM EPS_GET_DIRECTORY_LISTING to return an internal table with all files in a directory. Works fine in the background, but the created date is not in the return values. Soooooo I looped at the internal table and called this system function:

Along with this question: any idea if a FM or Method exists to convert Epoch time to a standard time. I could do the calculation myself....but it seems someone would have already done this. No point in re-creating the wheel.

Welcome to the Apple communities.
iCloud data is not part of your iCloud backup, therefore restoring your phone will not help recover your deleted contacts.
If your iCloud contacts are synced with your computer, then you can recover any deleted contacts from the backup you keep of your computer. Unfortunately if you do not sync your iCloud contacts to a computer or you do not keep a backup of the computer you will be unable to recover them. -

Certainly no easy way, I'm afraid.
The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs. I have previously suggested ways to recover contacts, calendars etc, and other users have confirmed that they work, as such I am making the following suggestions to recover lost notes, but please note, as yet success is unconfirmed.
Recovering your notes is quite time consuming, you may wish not to save all your notes to save some time, if they are not of importance.
1. Ensure the device is connected to your local network.
2. Start the restore from iCloud back up.
3. Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).
4. As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).
5. Wait for the time out confirmation.
6. Open the 'Notes' app, and open your first note (assuming your deleted notes have now been restored).
7. Select the share option at the foot of the screen (rectangle with arrow) and choose mail.
8. Send the email to yourself (If they won't send, save them to draft)
9. Repeat steps 7 & 8, until you have copied all the notes you wish to save to email.
10. Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.
11. Navigate to settings > iCloud and make sure 'Notes' syncing is enabled.
12. Open the 'Notes' app, check that iCloud notes have reverted to how they were before starting the restore.
13. Open the 'Mail' app and open the first email you sent yourself and copy the text you want in the note.
14. Open the 'Notes' app and create a new note in the iCloud, paste the text you copied.
15. Go to iCloud.com on a computer and check that the note has synced to iCloud.
16. Repeat steps 12, 13 & 14 until you have recovered all your notes.
May I suggest that you carry out a back up to iTunes before you try anything, that way should things become even worse, you can at least restore back to where you are now.
