Retrieving messages from iPhone

Hi I have two iPhones on one account can I retrieve messages that have been deleated?

Only from an iPhone backup that contains the messages you're trying to recover. Otherwise, they are gone.

    I'm trying to delete voicemail messages from iphone 5s.  Based on visiting previous discussions on this subject, I've tried "resetting network settings" and "turning airport mode ON, deleting messages, then turning airport mode OFF" -- to no avail. I'm receiving an alert that I've reached capacity...please assist. I run my business on my iPhone and right now I'm missing opportunities.
    Thanks in advance for your expediency.

    From the iPhone User Manual:

  • LG Revolution not receiving text messages from iphone user

    I am not receiving text messages from iphone user, sporatically.  The messages are showing as reveived on Verizon website in usage detail, but not being received on my phone.

        This issue needs fixed asap! I have a few suggestions that should help you get this resolved. If they are showing up in the usage details, that means they are hitting the Verizon network, but for some reason they are not showing up on the phone.   I recommend clearing the cache from your messaging/text messaging programs. Go to settings> applications> manage apps> all> Messaging/Text Messaging> Force Stop/Clear Cache/Clear Data. Erase the old text threads that you have saved and retry.
    If that doesn't work, please let us know the following:
    1) Do they come in delayed or not at all?
    2) Do you have any 3rd party messaging apps installed?
    3) Do they have any problems receiving messages from you?
    4) When they're sending messages, are they directly to you, or do you have this problem when the iPhone user sends to a group of people?
    Thanks for the additional info! I'm sure we can find a fix.

  • HT5824 I switched over from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy S3 & I haven't been able to receive any text messages from iPhones. Please help with turning my iMessage completely off..

    I switched over from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy S3 & I haven't been able to receive any text messages from iPhones. I have no problem sending the text messages but I'm not receivng any from iPhones at all. It has been about a week now that I'm having this problem. I've already tried fixing it myself and I also went into the sprint store, they tried everything as well. My last option was to contact Apple directly. Please help with turning my iMessage completely off so that I can receive my texts.

    If you registered your iPhone with Apple using a support profile, try going to https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do and unregistering it.  Also, try changing the password associated with the Apple ID that you were using for iMessage.

  • Still can't receive messages from Iphone Users

    Greetings,
    I know there are many topics asking similar questions if it's googled, and I think I have read through almost all of them to no prevail. I know veterans of these boards probably get tired of seeing the same topics, but im desperate and will try to keep it quick. I really appreciate any help.
    I recently upgraded from a 4S to a Galaxy S5 and have not been able to receive messages from Iphone users since. I still have my old Iphone. Here are the steps I've tried:
    1) Ensure "IMessage" is disabled in my old phone
    2) Unregistered my phone number with my Apple ID. I currently have no phone numbers registered with them
    3) Changed my Apple ID Password
    4) Unregistered my Iphone with my ITunes Account.
    5) I also have a Macbook Air and a 2010 model IMac. I have also ensured I am signed out on those devices and my phone number isn't linked in anyway I could find.
    6) I called Apple 3 Days ago and the representitive was very nice and professional but ultimately was incorrect. He advised me that the new IoS7 is more advanced and should check about every 12 hours to see if the user on the other end has an active IMessage account. He said to wait 24 hours just to be safe. He also advised people running older IOS systems could take up to 3-4 days to contact me correctly. Furthermore he said if after that time frame their phones still sent me IMessages instead of SMS then THEY were having problems and should call Apple. I just really doubt that is the case.
    I have tested it out with 5 Iphones now with help from some friends, all running IOS7 and still no luck 3 days after the phone call to Apple.
    7) I tried logging back into IMessage today on my Macbook and it worked, I was still able to send and receive texts from Iphone users. This seems like it should not be possible since it is not linked to my phone number anymore. It is logged into the same Email that I used to have linked to my phone number.
    Now as others have said, If I have them hold down the bubble and send as text message 3 times their phone will remember and keep sending my texts, however that is unreasonable to ask everyone to do. There should just be a way to completely delete your Apple ID. Is there anything I'm possibly overlooking? I really appreciate any help.

    I am right there with you. This describes my problem to a T. Only other issue I am having is group texts. Iphone users who include me in a group text still send as imessages as well, so even if I text them first and they reply, it send as an imessage. Get it together apple.

    I switched to a non iphone over two months ago and ever since then I cannot receive messages from iphone users sending in imessage format. They have to turn imessage on and off to be able to text me. This has been extremely inconvenient since I need to receive these messages for work in addition to my personal life. I have tried multiple suggestions I've read about, still nothing works. It's like this is apple's way of keeping customers using their iphone instead of switching for fear of not receiving messages. They won't really fix it either when we all know technology is advanced enough to fix this. HELP.

  • Retrieving messages from MQ Series

    Hi,
    We have the situation where we need to receive messages from our partner, who only can use MQ Series to send them. So we are looking into ways how to solve it on our end, which is on a Unix server. We will only read messages, and the other side will be a black box for us which will provide us with settings to connect to their manager.
    Do we need to install a client software (which IBM seems to provide for free) and on top of that use a Java API? Or do we use JMS on top of the client?
    Or if we use JMS, isn't the client needed?
    Thanks

    Hi
    I am trying to read messages from the MQ using the following code.
    The queue used by this program is shared, msg is pushed other program and this progam fetch the msg and save it physically.
    I m facing a problem, say there are 15 messages, then 15 files should be created, some time it creates 15 files one for each message, while some times it creates less then 15 files.
    String messageType = null;
              String docId = null;
              String idocData = null;
              String fileName = null;
              String msgId = null;
              try {
                   // Create a queue manager object and access the queue
         // that will be used for getting the messages.
                   qMgr = new MQQueueManager(qManager, env);
                   //int openOptions = MQC.MQOO_INPUT_EXCLUSIVE | MQC.MQOO_BROWSE | MQC.MQOO_INQUIRE;
                   int openOptions = MQC.MQOO_INPUT_SHARED | MQC.MQOO_BROWSE | MQC.MQOO_INQUIRE | MQC.MQOO_FAIL_IF_QUIESCING;
                   queue = qMgr.accessQueue(qName, openOptions, null, null, null);
                   MQGetMessageOptions gmo = new MQGetMessageOptions();
                   // Get the count of messages present into Queue.
                   int messageCnt = queue.getCurrentDepth();
                   _logger.info("Current Depth of MQ is : "+ messageCnt);
                   if (messageCnt > cnt && cnt != 0) {

                   // If count is greater than Zero then get the message from Queue
                   // and creates the file under the target folder.
                   if (messageCnt > 0) {
                        for (int i = 0; i < messageCnt; i++) {
