Retrieving Task Messages

Question

I are currently using the WebLogic's Process controls for BPM. I am having problems retrieving the task messages from the task. The steps that I performed are as follows :
1. When a process is triggered, a task instance is created. The process is invoked via a method
process.submitForProcessing(WorkRequest req);
WorkRequest is a simple Java getter setter bean.
2. A task instance is created. My task control has an extended method as follows :

* request-mime-type="WorkRequest"
* request={work}
public void setWorkRequest(byte[] work);
The "work" param is obtained by serializing the WorkRequest into a byte array.
3. When I need to retrieve the task request in my application after the process is triggered, I used the WorklistManager bean and its APIs as follows :
WorklistManager mgr = WorkMgrFactory.getInstance().getWorklistManager();
ObjectSerializer os = ObjectSerializer.getInstance();
TaskMessage msg = mgr.getTaskRequest(taskId);
Object obj = os.fromByteArray(msg.message);
WorkRequest req = (WorkRequest) obj;
WorkMgrFactory and ObjectSerializer are my own classes and they are tested fine. After the above is executed, I get a ClassCastException.
What I am essentially doing above is using a POJO to pass task request parameters throughout my process
instead of using XML.
But I do not understand why I obtain the ClassCastException. When I dump out the contents of "obj" as a String, I can see some information linking it back to the WorkRequest class but somehow I cannot cast it.

You can change this behavior by accessing your voicemail from MyVerizon and going to voice mail settings from there.  Go to the Voice Mail Setting and click on Telephone Settings.  Uncheck standard prompts to elimiate the Standard prompts that announce each menu option with brief explanations. To not hear the date and time of each message, uncheck.Hear the date & time of each message.
