Pls help, I need to retrive a mail which is triggered from my SAP system and it is triggered 2 yrs back. Is tat possible to retrive tat mail? Pls suggest.

SEND Mail Step Mail body is not getting displayed in SOST Transaction

Hi Gurus,
    I have a very strange problem. I have developed a workflow to send notifications. My client wants to send notifications in different languages based on the user. If the users language is english, the notification mail should trigger in english. If the user's language is French, then the notification mail should trigger in French. like if the user's language is chinese, the notification should be in chinese.
     I have used the Standard text objects (SO10) and read the text based on language of the user into the workflow container element. We have passed that container element (which has the required text in users language) to text_lines in SEND MAIL step of the workflow. I am getting the text in the correct language based on the user.
    When the mail triggers to user, the user is getting a blank email. There is no body/text in that email. We have checked the SOST transaction and observed that the notification email doesnt have any body, even though we have the text in workflow log.   For the users who have the English language, they are getting the text in their mail, SOST and workflow log. Where as for the other languages (French, Chinese, Spanish etc...), they are getting the blank mail, (SOST doesnu2019t have body text) but in workflow log the correct text(based on user language) is getting displayed.
    I tested the same workflow in devlopment & quality, everything is working fine. All users (English & Non-English) getting mails in their respective languages. Where as in production, only for English users it is working, but for Non-English users it is not working.   I have compared all three environments workflow definitions and they are same. I do not understand why this is behaving differently in production. Could you please help me how do I resolve this issue.
    May I know, does any one has faced similar issue. I request you to throw some light in this area.

Interesting! That seems like a foolproof way to handle the language problem
which can be a challenge in multi-language workflows. Please be sure to tell us
how you solve this and what the cause was.
You keep referring to the language of the "user". I assume you mean the
mail recipient?
You have to watch out with the workflow logs, they take the language settings
of the person viewing it into account when displaying texts, unlike SOST.

Which user actually executes the method to do this? Is it WF-BATCH?
Are you using an actual SendMail step? And you reference the variable text_lines##
in the task description?

Not able to display document at sost transaction

I am sending a mail by using the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. Initially I was able to see the document at SOST transaction. But now I am not able to display the document even though I had not done any changes in the program.

In SOST goto SEND STATUS tab and check all the check boxes ie, Waiting, Errors & Sent.

Trace for email notification in SOST transaction

Hi friends,
Please help me on the below issue,
In SRM system, whenever shopping card is approved, Automaticatly PO get generated and send a email notication to one partcular mail id simultaneouly.
I could see the email notification in SOST transaction.
Now my requirement is, I want to change the sender of that mail.
Now my issue is, I am not able to find, where and from which program, they are triggering this email.
Can you please help, how they are triggering this email. is there any way to find the sender program details based on the SOST message.

Wait time in SOST transaction

I have a program to send emails from SAP. This program works fine and creates emails but system is adding wait time of 6 hours to each email. I see the wait time in SOST transaction. I have asked basis team to check settings and they said that all settings are okay. Can someone help me with how to make the email go immediately.

Did you check that the system time is the same that the server time? also how often the sapconnect job is running?...
Is there a place where the wait time is configured or should I report this?
Not as far as i know... mails go to the queue to be sended the next time that sapconnect job runs...

Hi guys
I need to develop a program which monitors the error mails from SOST and forward the same mails to some other email.
is it possible technicaaly.
this is very urgent please let me know if there any possible solutions

Hi Kittu,
The details you want to see through SOST transaction are possible with Tcode SOSV.
There is one more simple way to know the status of the the Mails along with Sender and receiver information.
SE16-> table SOST-> Field MSGTY (Status of the Mail S/ E)
SE16 --> SOOS ---> It will contain the Sender & Receiver Information as per the the Object No & Object Type.

Mails in sost

Hi frnds ,
When i am sendingmails from my workflow then all the mails are getting qued up in sost transaction with a status as yellow color . Then i have to select the mails and execute it to send the mails . What i have to do so that the mails gets send directly and not get qued up in sost .

Here is the procedure:
1. Go to SOST Transaction
2. Menu path - Settings -> Send Jobs
3. Create->Click on Schedule Job for INT
4. Give the Period for which you want to schedule
This should send the mails directly. Ofcourse still these messages will be queued in SOST, for status monitoring.

How can I get my old mail account back?

I f&%€ up and deleted my old mail account after I had added my new one ( I've changed ISP). So all old mails disappeared.
Is it possible to restore them my self? Or do I have to go to the Mac doctor?

I use Mail.
I deleted the settings for the old account by mistake - I just thought I wouldn't need it anymore after having set up the new one - and suddenly the inbox was empty. A not so nice surprise
However I managed to find a folder named Mail with a POP - folder in it, in the trash can, which I dragged to my desktop. But I haven't been able to import it.
I found some useful earlier threads and intructions from some David Gimeno, so I removed the .mbox extension from the INBOX.mbox file.
BUT still, Mail won't import. It says it doesn't find any valid mbox files.
The INBOX.mbox is about 12 Mb, so I recconed there would be something in it.

Mail is backed up automatically. If you make backups automatically, open Mail application and then, open the Time Machine app (in /Applications/Utilities). You will access to the Time Machine interface, and you will be able to see all your mails of all the backups you have, and you will be able to restore them. Is there anyway to keep our old mail, calendar, and phone format and yet use IOS7? I find the new system so plain that it is difficult to see. I keep missing new emails because the little numbers are so small they barely show up and the plain white screens are so bright they are hard to look at. I would just go back but I really like some of the new features.

The new user interface for iOS7 is just dreadful. I turned down the brightness but the lack of shading or delineation between UI elements makes it difficult to read.
It feels like they're chasing Android.

Most such cases happen because of a shortage (even if temporary) of free disk space on your hard drive, or if partitioned, on the boot partition. The preference is overwritten, but not the message data itself.
If this happened, simply re-enter the account setup info, and then be sure to DECLINE any prompt to Import. When the accounts are again set up, Mail can rediscover the existing mailboxes and account folders.

When I access my AOL account from my Ipad, the folder for "old Mail" doesn't appear as a selection. How do I access this folder?

Try this:
go to mail on your ipad
go to Mailboxes tab
click Edit
scoll to bottom of mailbox listing and select Add Mailbox
locate the MailFolder you need.

After crash, how do stop apple mail (os 10.7.5, applemail 5.3) from pulling in old mail on reboot

I've got a frustrating problem and need your help.
My Mac pro (os 10.7.5) froze so I was forced to push the button to restart.
After reboot, apple mail 5.3 auto opened and pulled in thousands of old mail that were long ago deleted.
Now, is there a way to mass delete the new/old mail that reappeared without losing what mail I wanted to save?
More importantly, how can I avoid this the next time my mac freezes because it's not the first time it's happened and it's does not happen on every crash.

The mail that keeps coming back is what is still sitting on your mail server. If this is a POP mail account you can configure Mail to delete mail that has been downloaded.
Click Mail in the menu bar and select Preferences. In Preferences, click Accounts and select your mail account on the left, then click Advanced. There you can decide on the setting you want: "Remove copy from server after retrieving a message", to for example After one day.
If you have an IMAP account - say gmail - the process is different. Post back if that is what you have.

I cannot get the Firefox to search old mail for previous saved emails. It always says none there, even when I see them. Can anyone help?

I have called Apple Store Online today, but they said I should call TNT and they will send my enquiry to others to handle. But reject to tell me who is responsible for the issue.
TNT keeps to tell me they have deliver the item but no one answer. And I told them I have informed them on no one at the delivery address to receipt the good. TNT just do so to claim they have already do their work.
Do you know the mail address can be contacted to solve this problem?
