Return iPad for iPad 2?

Hi I guys I recently bought my iPad on 27 of February. I thought there would be no iPad 2 since past thursday after that day i got very sad but my dad said that he heard that if you bought your ipad recently you could exchange it for ipad 2 for $100 dlls.He heard that in some radio stations. Now, is that true?

Hi,
You can return an iPad within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.
Whatever is heard on a radio station, can't be trusted.
Apple Refund Policy here.
The new iPad will be available March 11th as noted here. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipad/family/ipad/start/select?mco=MjE zNTIwNzE
May have heard this? http://blog.gadgethelpline.com/apple-offering-100-refund-ipad-customers-2-weeks/
Two weeks is still beyond the 14 day refund policy in your case unfortunately.

  • What is the return policy for iPad air. .

What is the return policy for iPad air. I just got this less than a month back. I find I it very hard to use. I hardly used It.

The 14 day return policy is if you bought from Apple. If you bought from another source, it's governed by their return policy.

  • Apple Return Policy for iPAD in Philippines

There is a section here on the site wherein they have a return policy for unsatisfied customer of the device. Well my iPad was given to me as a gift here in the philippines. I dont have the receipt and dont know exactly where the device was bought here. I was thinking where could I find a proper authority for this? All i see here just computers with terms and condition. Is there someone Can i talk to or chat to??
What to do? could i request for a return somehow?

I don't think an Apple Store will do anything for you after two weeks. I would suggest calling Apple Customer Relations, talk it over with them, and see what they will do for you.

FWIW...I bought a Power Mac B&W G3 once and two weeks later the Power MacG4s came out. That's the breaks with fast-paced technology.

  • Worth Switching Original iPad for iPad 2?

I got an original iPad in August and I really love it. Is it worth making the switch from that to an iPad 2? I have heard a lot of users on here voicing their problems with it, but is it a good choice to upgrade? I looked into the second one, and it seems really cool! And is there any way to sell my iPad and receive credit toward the new one?
    Thanks !

I got an original iPad in August and I really love it. Is it worth making the switch from that to an iPad 2?
It depends on what you use your iPad for and what lacks, if any, you've found in the current model. Certainly the iPad 2 is faster, particularly for games or other graphically intensive apps, and new apps are already starting to appear or be announced that will take advantage of that extra speed. But if your needs are more to the productivity type - taking notes, doing email, web surfing and such - the performance improvements will probably be less noticable.
I have heard a lot of users on here voicing their problems with it
This is a technical support site, so what you're most likely to see are posts from people who are having problems. People who have no problems with their new iPads have little incentive to come here and post.
And is there any way to sell my iPad and receive credit toward the new one?
Of course you can sell your iPad, through any of the normal places you'd sell something. If, however, you are asking whether Apple will take your current iPad as a trade-in, no, they won't. There are places that will, but you'll probably get more for your current iPad if you sell it yourself.
So it comes down to your own needs and desires. Read all the information about the new model, its capabilities and performance, and then decide whether it's worth the cost to you.
    Regards.

  • What are the returns policy for iPads bought on finance (UK)?

I have the same dilemma as many (apparently), which iPad to have the air or the Mini with retina. The form factor of the mini is very very appealing, but as I do a lot of photography and photography processing, the small colour gamut is quite a large disappointment as it's quite apparent to me. I had a 'play' with the air in store last night and decided on the air, but they didn't have the 32GB grey in stock so left without one. I got home and used my wife's Mini with retina all night and I had a change of heart and loved the size of the mini. However, the colour issue still bugs me.
So the long and short of it is that I'm still as confused as ever, I really need therapy lol
My latest thoughts are to get the Air from apple and give it a trial run in day to day living (using in store is not a true representation of usage imo) knowing that apple have a no quibble 14 day returns policy, and if I do decide I prefer the rMini after all I can swap it. I'm not sure how I feel about this morally though
Does anyone know if the same returns in terms of ease of return and conditions applies to those bought on finance (UK)?

  • Soft returns in Pages for iPad

I would really like to create a space between numbered items in Pages but I can't figure out how to do it.  Does anyone know how to create a soft return in Pages for iPad?
I have seen responses for the desktop application but not the iPad application.

    Pages 1.7.1, IOS 5.1.1
You start a bullet item and then press both ⇧ and return keypad keys to force a newline. This turns off the bullet style. Press return. Use the paintbrush toolbar icon to reselect the Bullet paragraph style again. This approach shows the inelegant possibility.
The best approach would be at the end of your bullet text, change your line spacing from 1.0 to 1.25 from within the paintbrush > Layout tab. A return continues your bullet style. If your normal body text has been 1.0 line spacing, you can switch back to that after your list.

I guess that we could ask that question about a few different things Apple related.
I'm glad that you got the hang of it.

  • Can I return the engraved new iPad (3 gen) for iPad 4?

    Hello,
I bought the new iPad 7 days ago(10/16/2012), and new the iPad (4 gen) is coming!! That's ridiculous!
Can I return the iPad 3 for iPad 4?
It's new, bought on 10/16/2012.  And it's engraved.
    Thank for any helpful reply!!

Me too, very upset about this. I have a friend who is travelling the US now and I had him buy me an ipad 3 just a week ago, now I want to exchange it for the newer ipad, or at least get the money back. The problem is he's there for work so he's been travelling non stop, thus he might not be able to go back to the apple store he bought my ipad anymore, I don't know if he still can exchange or get a refund of it or not. He still has the receipt but already opened the box and activated that ipad
If you don't wanna lose loyal customers, let us exchange the newer one or give back the money at any of your store Apple.
