Return Status = 1013116
Gurus,
I get this return status:
Return Status = 1013116
Database is Still in Active Use
What does it mean?
What step do I need to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance
It usually means a long running calc/business rule, data load, or retrieval is still running, and you can't shut down the database or application. If you go into EAS, and look at server sessions, you will see any active threads on the database. You can then kill the session or thread, run a start/stop with the application, and you should be clear.

How can I check the return status of a request using URLConnection?
Hi,
I am using the classes URL and URLConnection to connect to a remote server and make a POST request. The code extract is:
URL u = new URL("http://.....");
URLConnection con = u.openConnection();
con.setDoInput(true);
con.setDoOutput(true);
con.setUseCaches(false);
con.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
DataOutputStream out = new DataOutputStream(con.getOutputStream());
out.writeBytes(........);
out.flush();
out.close();
Next, I would like to check the return status of my request. I need to see if the server returned status 200 (OK) or an error (e.g. 404). Is there a way to check this?
If you are aware of another way I can achieve this whole thing I would be grateful if you could let me know.
Thanks very much for your help!URLConnection doesn't have a getResponseCode
method...
But I found a link
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;:WuuT?bug_
id=4191207
that helped me found out that there is another class
called HttpURLConnection:
((HttpURLConnection)conn).getResponseCode( )You should read the API:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/net/URL.html#openConnection()
"If for the URL's protocol (such as HTTP or JAR), there exists a public, specialized URLConnection subclass belonging to one of the following packages or one of their subpackages: java.lang, java.io, java.util, java.net, the connection returned will be of that subclass. For example, for HTTP an HttpURLConnection will be returned,..." -
R12 update_vendor_site return status
I am trying to update an existing supplier site and making this call :
pos_vendor_pub_pkg.update_vendor_site(
p_vendor_site_rec => vendor_site_rec,
x_return_status => l_return_status,
x_msg_count => l_msg_count,
x_msg_data => l_msg_data);
The return status is : "U" and the return message is "FND". I assume that successfull update should return me status "S" with no messages.
Seems like "FND" stands for found ( which is normal in case of Update ) What does status "U" mean? Was the site successfully updated?
thanks in advance.This API does not exist in R12.
I have read in the API definition that it does not update TCA info. I assume this is why the update does not work in R12.
Does anyone know how to update a vendor site or contact in R12???

On-Demand process: Return status?
I have a ODP that is called as a application process from an instance of the htmldb_Get object.
The ODP returns the standard output using htp.p that is injected into the DOM of the calling page as appropriate.
Along with this, I also need to return a "return status" that would determine further execution in the calling function. 0 for no errors, 1 for error and so on.
I guess this is where it makes sense to return a structured output from the ODP using either XML or JSON, right? The output stream or "payload" could contain the real output that is consumed by the calling process and the out-of-band status code that I need.
What is the most elegant, "infrastructure" way to do this sort of thing?
Are there readymade JSON encoders for PL/SQL that can be used here?
ThanksVikas,
I have not tried the package available at:
http://reseau.erasme.org/Librairie-JSON

How to remove or return status of Device on PC for find it?
Remove Device from PC but My's iPhone was lost, How to remove or return status of Device on PC for find it?
If it automatically reappears in the devices list. If you still have access to the device, you can prevent it from reappearing by turning off Find My iPhone?
Please suggest meI did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it. I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go. I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it. My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue. It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking. It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above. I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes. It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me. She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

How do I track my return status?
Hi,
I bought T400 about two weeks ago. Everything was fine but I had to return it because it is too big to carry around. I called customer service to obtain RMA number and follow every details of instruction. My package was successfully delivered to Lenovo. But as of now I haven't received any email for refund confirmation yet. I called customer service so many times and seems like nobody had the answer for me.
So Mark or whoever working for Lenovo , could you please look up my return status? My RMA is C3100-07014878-001, Order name is Mingkwan Thongpruksa
C3100-07014878-001
Thank you very much,
MingkwanHi Jacob
Do you have 'Find My iPod' with MobileMe? If so, then go to https://www.me.com/find/
If not, then you will not be able to track your iPod. -
I am creating an operating system print command string on a Sun Unix box
using enscript. When I submit the print string using RunCommand it works
fine. However, if I specify a non-existant printer the RunCommand does
not seem to provide any feedback to the TOOL code. I am using the
ExitStatus attribute in OperatingSystem object to check. Is this a
valid method for checking OS status?
task.Part.OperatingSystem.RunCommand(command = runCommand, isSynchronous
= TRUE);
exitStatus = task.Part.OperatingSystem.ExitStatus;
I have also added an exception handler to try to catch the condition. I
am currently handling SystemException, FIleResourceException, and
UsageException. None of these seem to get triggered when specifing an
invalid printer name to the OS.
Questions: (1) How can I return a status code from the OS to TOOL or at
least detect the appropriate exception?
(2) Is it possible to test for the existance of a network
printer via tool code? For example could I ping the
device and return a result?

I believe that the RunCommand does not return the OS Exitstatus to
Forte. Attached to the RunCommand there are two parameters being
stdfileout and errfileout. These files will capture the contents of
stdout and stderr. When I call the OS via RunCommand, I append the
following onto my command:
lp fred;echo =$?=
I then open and read the stdfileout and look for the string EOT =0=. If
it is not there then my lp command did not terminate properly.
This is not the cleanest thing in the world to do, but I know that it
works. If anyone does know if you can trap the existstatus from
RunCommand then I'd be really happy to find out about it.

DBMS_CUBE.BUILD return status
Hi,
using 11gR2, does anyone know how can one determine the return status of a DBMS_CUBE.BUILD() call, i.e., was the update successful and committed or unsuccessful and rolled back? (note that I'm using the atomic_refresh option).
Thanks,
ChrisHi David,
Thanks for the answer. In fact what I did finally is, since I know in advance the time interval I'm loading, check that the particular cell for the very last time period is indeed loaded, e.g., using a request like this one:
SELECT calls
INTO result
FROM cll_traffic_view /* Cube view generated by AWM */
WHERE datetime = 'HH' || to_char(end_hh, 'FM000000')
AND vnumber = 'ALL'
AND account = 'ALL'
AND callstate = 'ALL';
IF result > 0 THEN
... load successful
END IF;
Possibly not the most orthodox way of doing this but it seems to garantee the desired atomicity.

Using return status with bash test builtin
Hello,
Following shell script (bash):
f_init() {
# Output: 0 = shell, 1 = other
[ -z "$USER" ] && return 0 || return 1
USER=
f_init
RETVAL=$?
[ "$RETVAL" = 0 -a $(id -u) = 0 ] && echo left || echo rightI was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the RETVAL variable and use the return status of the f_init function inside the test statement directly. Something similar like - which doesn't work, e.g:
[ "$(f_init)" = 0 -a $(id -u) = 0 ] && echo left || echo right
if f_init -a [ $(id -u) = 0 ]; then
echo left
else
echo right
fiAny ideas? Thanks!I think I already tried that, but it doesn't work. See below.
USER=root
[ f_init = 0 ] && echo left || echo right
USER=
[ f_init = 0 ] && echo left || echo rightProduces the same results, meaning [ f_init = 0 ] is always false regardless of what f_init returns.

BPM sync-async bridge returns status "to be delivered"
Hi experts!
I have a BPM consisting of the following steps:
1. Receive (open S/A bridge): Msg SalesOrder
2. Transformation: create Msg SalesOrderResponse
3. Send (close S/A bridge): SalesOrderResponse (to sending system)
4. Send (async send): SalesOrder (to receiver system)
RWB shows 4 messages when the scenario is executed:
Sender - BPM
BPM - BPM
BPM - Sender
BPM - Receiver
The BPM works in that both the sender and receiver system receives the expected messages (SalesOrderResponse and SalesOrder), but the RWB returns the status "To be delivered" for the message from Sender to BPM and from BPM to BPM.
SXMB_MONI shows one message only, which is successful, and the PE_ADAPTER shows the BPM as completed.
Do you know why the status is "to be delivered", when the messages are received correctly at both sender and receiver system?
How can we make all messages involved in the scenario successful?
Thank you very much for any help!
Br,
KennethThank you, but I have already re-created all interfaces and the BPM in IR, and reimported to ID. I do not get any error messages anywhere, SXI_CACHE is OK (return code 0 for BPM), SWWL contains no old processes.
Another maybe useful piece of information:
the two messages returning "To be delivered" status in RWB both exist for Integration Engine. The first, for Sender -> BPM, the inbound channel is AENGINE and outbound channel is SA_COMM. Could it be that SA_COMM does not notify AENGINE that it has received the message?
The other message with the same status is from BPM -> BPM, with message interface SalesOrderResponse_ABS both for sender and receiver, which I don't understand why. This interface should only be used from BPM to sender... There is no inbound or outbound channel specified for this message.
So is the BPM sending some information to itself through the same message interface?
Any clues? -
OWB 10gR2 map returning status = Complete and Result = Null in Process Flow
Hi,
I have an OWB process flow which invokes an OWB map. There are 2 outgoing transitions attached to the OWB map. 1st transition is a conditinal one (on SUCCESS) and the 2nd one is unconditional transition.
I am monitoring the status of process flow execution in Oracle Workflow monitor. After the process flow is initiated, sometimes the OWB map within shows status = complete and result = OK in workflow monitor (in tab - status). But sometimes it shows status = Complete and Result = Null. In this situation the execution is following the unconditional transition path.
Can anyone tell me what causes the OWB map to return a Result = NULL? Also sometimes I am getting the map returning a Result = Force (with the same status = Complete).
The configuration that I am working with is as below ---
OWB client version : 10.2.0.1.31
OWB repository version : 10.2.0.1.0
Oracle Workflow Version : 2.6.4.0.0
Database version : 10g Enterprise edition release 10.2.0.1.0

SwagataHi Manohar,
1. You need to install Oracle HTTP server in a separate Oracle home.
2.Look for the dads.conf file in the installation. Edit the file, copy the sample code and paste it below and edit the pasted part as under ----
<Location /pls/<SID>>
SetHandler pls_handler
Order deny,allow
Allow from all
AllowOverride None
PlsqlDatabaseConnectString <server name>:<port>:<SID >
PlsqlAuthenticationMode Basic
PlsqlDefaultPage wfa_html.home
PlsqlNLSLanguage "AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1"
</Location>
3. STOP and START OPMN (Oracle Process Manager & Notification Server)
4. Use the URL in your internet browser like --- <HTTP server URL>/pls/<SID>/wfa_html.home
5. When prompted for user id and password, give the schema user id and password where the workflow engine is installed.
Hope this helps,
Swagata
