Return to Active version - Multiprovider

Hi all,
See if you can help me with this.
I have a Multiprovider that has been screwed after a transport from another system. This is in a development system, so it is open for changes. I can see the A version is ok and I like to keep it, so I was wondering if there's any way of deleting the M version or just reactivating the A version.

Yeah, that's right.
First of all, thanks for the welcome!
When I select the active version all the icons grey out.
I think I remember that I have done this with an update rule, I just switched to the A version on the selection box and then activate again. But on the Multiprovider and Cube maintenance screen seems not to let you do this!

I think the object is already installed. Check the object in Production, is it in Active or not.
Try to install it again.

How to Recover Multiprovider if Active Version NE Revised Version

Hi,
We are doing NW2004s upgrade. While activating the Multiprovider I found that it has loast key figures and Nav Attributes.
When I go to Previous version(Version Comparison) I see the Keyfigures.
How to recover those key figures of Multiprovider?

Hi I have resolved this issue.
I went to Version = active mode of this multiprovider.
It was active and all key figures were available. captured this into transport and imported to same system.

Problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with sour

Hi,
I have a problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with source system EXCEL.
The system does not react to changes done in the transfer rule coding. For FISCPER I have hardcoded the result 'BABABA' and still the results delivered are those from the CSV.
Resetting the system buffers does not help. The problem is systematic in combination with source system EXCEL (i.e. not only 1 InfoSource). Checking the active program Extras->Display Program shows the coding (result='BABABA') being there, but
as stated, the system does not produce the result BABABA, but instead the result of the CSV.
It seems as if the original version from the very first activation of the transfer rule program remains somewhere and continues to be used. Does anybody know how to flush it out and get the system to actually use the coding appearing as the active program.
I have posted an OSS note, but SAP takes it time to answer and I am under time pressure so I figured that maybe one of you know who to solve it before SAP does.

Dear all
First I want to say I am very begginning.
My problem is when I want to use some RIA sample appliaction
(from adobe site) which is using some AJAX feature I have unknown
runtime error during data saving. I have information that "The tag
name: "cfajaximport" Not found in currently active versions. " What
is it mean and how to resolve it?
I have ColdFusion 8.0.1 (developer edition), IE6.0

DMS-KM connector and active version in DMS

I was wondering if it possible to bring back only the active version of a document using the DMS connector?? We created a varient but do not see anywhere to specify that we only want to Active version to be returned... so for each document we get every version...

Hi Derek,
if this is not a configuration option in the DMS repository manager, does it at least return a KM property for "active=yes/no" or similar?
If it does that, you could implement your own repository filter on that basis or access the DMS resources via query-based taxonomies that either do or do not allow certain values for that property.

If the SAP delivery version and the active version can be matched, a checkbox is displayed in this column.With the most important object types, the active version and the SAP delivery version can be matched.
When a match is performed, particular properties of the object are compared in the A version and the D version. First it has to be decided whether these properties can be matched automatically or whether this has to be done manually.
A match can be performed automatically for properties if you can be sure that the object is to be used in the same way as before it was transferred from Business Content.
When performing matches manually you have to decide whether the characteristics of a property from the active version are to be retained, or whether the characteristics are to be transferred from the delivery version.
The Match indicator is set as default in order to prevent the customer version being unintentionally overwritten. If the Content of the SAP delivery version is to be matched to the active version, you have to set the Installindicator separately.
The active version is overwritten with the delivery version if
 the match indicator is not set and
 the install indicator is set.

Active version of BW Data Source Dev Appears inactive in Q

Hi All,
This is urgent..needs to move to prod today but I am stuck in D still!
Does anyone know why a particular BW data source which is active inn Dev might appear to be inactive in Q after the transport?
We tried manual replication, transporting replica and reapplying the transports, recollecting the data source in both r3 and BW
I also verified that I am collecting the active version in my transport

Make sure the appropriate "Conversion of Source System names after transport" are maintained in target system QA and Prod.

Follow the above path...Go to Datawarehousing Workbench in QA tcode RSA1 and on the top you will see Tools > and follow from there...

On Windows 8.1 and Firefox 36.0.1 the textarea in forms has no carriage returns. Earlier versions the forms work. Is there a fix for this?

Prior to this version of Firefox 36.0.1, the <textarea> in my HTML forms was working; displaying carriage returns. In version 36.0.1 they no longer function properly. Instead when I enter a carriage return, it displays a space instead of a newline. I went to the most basic textarea testing
<textarea> name="comments" cols=20 rows=10 </textarea>
to make sure I wasn't introducing anything with other languages.
I am using Windows 8.1 Pro. I rolled back to Firefox 35.0 and everything works fine. I install 36.0.1 and it stops working.
I have access to another Laptop also running the same version of windows and Firefox and it appears to be doing strange things as well. I am suspicious in that I started noticing this immediately after a windows upgrade last night. The laptop also experienced the issues it is having immediately after a windows update yesterday evening.
I have yet another PC running a different version of windows and Firefox and it too works fine. It looks like the issue is where there is windows 8.1 Pro and Firefox 36.0.1.
Do you guys have any idea what is going on here?

The current release supports the white-space property for a text area and it is possible that the website uses white-space: pre instead of white-space: pre-wrap.
The former will prevent Firefox from wrapping the text.
You can check that in the Inspector via the right-click context menu.

I started getting this error message for the first time today. When I look in the event log I see it every time anyone tries to sync to a mobile device to the exchange server. I've also had this problem trying to connect using
Outlook. I believe it is an IIS issue but I'm not absolutely sure so I'm posting this in the Exchange forum as well.

I have tried most, if not all, of the different post's suggestions to no avail.
The steps I have taken are as follows...
1. Repaired .Net 4 (Both the client and extended)
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled .Net Framework 4.0.
3. Verified that the dll exists.
4. Checked the applicationHost.config file. It contains the follow statement...

Like I said everything was working yesterday. In fact I didn't hear or see any issue until after 1PM today.

Please confirm whether users can access their mailboxes from Outlook Web Access or not. We can do the following changes to have a try:
1. In IIS > Application Pools, change the .NET Framework Version to v2.0 and restart IIS service.
2. If it doesn’t work, explore the Default Web site.
3. Renamed the web.config file to web.config.old
4. Reset IIS using iisreset command to have a try.

Production Order in In-Active Version

Hi All,
Need your expert help...
I have a production order for Assembly product (say A1). In this order, under component view, we have component (say C1).
in MD04 for C1..,
a) I see the dependent requirement
I created a simulated version such that it considers the firm receipts from active version.
Now, in MS04 for C1,
a) I see the dependent requirement.
My requirement is to remove the depenent reuirement in active version, but to retain the dependent requiremnt in in-active version.
How to do that..?
As of now, when i remove the component from Production order, its impacting both my active and in-active versions (ie., its kicking off component in both MD04 & MS04)

Hi,
There could not be a simulative dependent requirement for a production order. What you can do is to create an independent requirement in the version which your LTP scenario supports, and simulate the dependent requirement in active version.

The first time I attempted to install ML was on a late 2011 MBP. It ran for three minutes then gave me the error message: Could not install OSX due to an unexpected error. I was using the original ML install app, not a USB or other drive.
After a couple of restarts wiht the same result I saw a message to the effect that the install was trying to close open apps. I closed apps manually a few times to no avail. I shut down instead of restarting then booted into Safe mode (hold down the shift key when starting) and that did it. The install went smoothly after that.
I since installed ML in two iMacs using a cloned copy of the install app on a USB drive. This time I shut down the computers and booted into Safe Mode first and there were no problems.
I don't know if this issue is the one causing you these problems but it is a simple enough solution to try.

You don't. You ignore it. The <embed> tag is not valid
HTML, but it is

You cannot downgrade the iOS on any iDevice. There is not way to install iOS 5 again.
