my dad's phone is 6500 .he need to return phone to factory setting, but the phone request code that we dont know its code.

Certainty  this is the default lock code for almost every Nokia phone. If you think 6500 is an exception, please consider User Guide. it should be on "Security" page of User Guide.
You can download User Guide here:

EDIT:
To quote a post of a Moderator, "Some newer phones (like the shiny new 6500 Classic that we have in the Moderation Bunker, which is a 5th-edition S40) don't have a pre-set security code, you have to choose your own if you wish to activate security settings."

So in both cases if you don't remember the code, Visit your local Nokia Care Point and let them reset it.

    Hi iPheariPhoPad,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like there’s an issue with Settings, the Notes app entry isn’t showing up as expected. Take a look at the article linked below and try restarting your iPhone 3GS.
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If that doesn’t do it, try restoring your iPhone as shown in this article:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

  • Returning to factory settings

Despite endless attempts to reconnect my Q10 to BB Link -- BB Link repeatedly says that my BlackBerry ID is not associated with my Q10 -- everything has failed. All I can now think of is returning my handset to its factory settings -- by eg entering a wrong password 10 times -- so that I effectively start all over again with what (I'm hoping) my laptop will see as a new BB phone. Does anyone here think that's a bad idea and if so why? Obviously I'd back up everything vital on my Q10 before I did that (and ys, I can apparently back it up despite the fact that BB Link doesn't recognise my device). I confess I'm at my wit's end.

    Hi,
You will get reset factory setting tips here.

How can I restore my new Macbook pro to Factory setting?

Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.

  • If I restart my MBP to factory setting, will it impact the OS?

I have upgraded my OS to OS X Mountain Lion.
If I am planning to set my macbook pro to factory setting, will it impact the OS?
I am planning to sell my macbook pro. Bought it in early 2011.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

    Found this.
Lion and Mountain Lion (if pre-installed on the computer at purchase*)
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because
it is three times faster than wireless.
              1. Restart the computer while holding down the COMMAND and R keys until the Mac OS X
                  Utilities window appears.
              2. Select Disk Utility from the Mac OS X Utilities window and click on the Continue button.
              3. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the left side list. Click
on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
              4. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on the Security button
and set the Zero Data option to one-pass.
              5. Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
              6. Quit DU and return to the Mac OS X Utilities window.
              7. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
              8. Upon completion shutdown the computer.

I baught second hand iMac and having trouble to reset to factory setting Help pls

The previous owner left a Recovery HD partition on the drive. You cannot use it because it will only install a version of OS X that is tied to that persons Apple ID. You cannot use his/her Apple ID nor reinstall his/her copy of OS X. You must start, literally, from scratch.
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mavericks if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
         1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the  "C" key.  Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
         2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.)  Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.  Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
(Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
         3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
         4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
install of OS X.  You can now begin the update process by opening Software
Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

  • How To reset Safari window size back to original factory setting?

How To reset Safari window size back to original factory setting?
I resize my pages often but I don't want to always keep them at random sizes. I want to know the proper method to reset the webpage size back to it default size. Right now it's too wide, and I click the green plus button in the upper left corner and it goes down to a very small size, I click the green plus again and it returns to the Too Wide size. I just can't seem to get it to go back to the default size.
    Thanks for your help!

You could try this.   Set the safatri page to your convenience by dragging the bottom right hand corner of the page.   Quit safari, then immediately relaunch.   It should start up the same size as it was before you quit.  Then ...
Go to Safari > preferences and set the page as your home page.

Don't know if the following is true, but I read it somewhere and then did when I recently "zeroed" my MBP.
It suggested before doing anything, to sign into iTunes and deauthorize the computer.  The reasoning as I understood it was that you could ONLY deauthorize a computer while on that computer.  Since according to the present rules, you can only have 5 computers signed into an iTunes account, if you don't do this, you will be restricted to 4 computers in the future.
Five devices sound like a lot, but a couple of IPs, a MBA, a iMac and a iPad puts me upto 5 devices. Ops, I also have 2 ATVs.  Maybe some of these devices don't count toward the 5 devices allowed, but why take a chance?

  • I tried to restore my iPhone 5 to factory setting and when i did it attached to a person i do not know apple id so now i can't use the phone. I purchase the phone from sprint and used it for 2 years and never had a problem.

Hi - I tried to restore my iPhone 5 to factory setting so I could give it to my son but when I did it reset to someone else's apple id. I don not know this person and I am the only owner of the phone purchased from Sprint. How do I get this phone to work?

Its called Activation Lock. Take the phone to Sprint and explain your problem. It is their fault and responsibility to properly reset used phones.

I am the owner of my iPhone 4 and it had not been updating and allowing me to download apps. So I decided to do factory setting, before doing so I had backed up my phone on my computer then I had erased everything from my iphone. But now I want to start everything from the beginning, and on my setting my Apple ID is present however when I put my password in it doesn't let me log in. The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID  as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried  everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.
If anyone has had a similar experience could you please advise me on what to do,
    Thanks

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

When you reset to factory settings, the computer is de-authorised.
In iTunes menu Store > View Account > sign in > App Store > Deauthorise All.
Once done, authorise this computer iTunes.
Note: you can only do that once a year.
