"Return to POD" button

Hi
Cannot able to find @ NC Tree Plug in @ POD
"Return to POD" button which displays the secondary NC code groups and available codes in NC Selection
any setting missing.
Please suggest ?
Thx

Well I got the "Return to POD" problem - NC_TREE was set as
POPOVER @ POD layout, it should be POPUP for "Return to POD" button
to display.
Now I have another question -
To analyze and log secondary NC (defect), steps are as follows:
1. Select the NC Tree button in the POD (displays the NC tree in a pop-up
window)
2. Select the row in the NC Tree and select the Return to POD button should displays the secondary NC code groups and codes in NC Selection.
But for me the secondary NC code groups never display after pressing the
"Return to POD" I am back to the POD which has POD work list but not
the NC section plugin with option to select the secondary NC code.
Please help
Thx

  • Remediation - 'Return to Quiz' button?

    Hi folks,
    I've just watched an excellent Lynda.com course on Captivate 8 (Essential Training). However, one issue has confused me and this is on remediation.  I've used remediation in the past, and sometimes the slide movement become a bit 'sticky' and I don't really like to use the 'Next' navigation button for the 'Return to Quiz' action.
    The course says that if you have a quiz question that returns to an earlier slide (i.e. via remediation) you can create a new button that states 'Return to Quiz' (i.e. in addition to any existing navigation buttons), make the action for this new button 'Return to Quiz' and this button will not appear in the normal flow of the course, but will appear if the slide is visited via the remediation route in the end quiz.
    To quote Lynda.com 'This is a special action that's going to keep the button hidden unless they navigate to the slide straight from the quiz'.  However, when I have tried this, the new button appears in the normal flow of viewing the course?
    I have watched this part of the course a number of times and it appears they are definitely saying that the new 'Return to Quiz' button should only appear when visited via the quiz.
    Are they wrong?  Captivate 8 bug?
    Cheers,
    John

    I didn't watch the CP8 course on Lynda, but I found the previous course of very low quality, totally different from what they normally offer for the 'big' Adobe applications. Just FYI I'm an almost daily user of Lynda. Again you prove here that there are quite a lot of 'bugs' in that course, half-explained or even wrongly explained work flows and bad practice tell me that the creator is certainly not an expert Captivate user. Sorry for that ranting but I have spent so many hours in trying to clarify work flows to Captivate users that took that course and got stuck very quickly when they tried to use the acquired knowledge.
    Remediation is not hiding the button. You need a Next button and have to trigger the action 'Return to Quiz' with that button. When the content slide is visited from another content slide, the Next button will automatically execute the action 'Go to Next Slide', but when the slide is visited from a Question slide, the Next button will get the user back to the Question slide. Only when the question will be answered correctly, will he be able to continue with the Quiz.
    Again, this is NOT a Captivate bug, this is a bug in your 'excellent' course.

  • Editing Submit All "Return to Quiz" button caption

    Can anyone point me in the right direction? I need to change the Submit All window's "Return to Quiz" button to "Return to Exam" but don't see where I can do it. Any suggestions?

    Hello,
    I have solution for you.
    Close Adobe Captivate if you have it opened.
    Go to: Adobe Captivate/en-US/
    Back up files strings.txt and strings.zdct.
    Open strings.txt.
    Find text you want to change. Save the file. Make copy of it and rename it to strings.zdct which is placed in same folder.
    This solution works just for projects made from blank after doing this tutorial. It doesn´t work for your old projects sadly, even when you resave them.
    Here is test result with special characters working.

  • Return key as button accelerator

    I ahve been developing a swing based application for a while and it is nearing competion. I have however got just one problem left. Most of my users are on windows and as you probably know windows uses the return key for button presses where as java uses the spacebar.
    What I would like to know is there any way to change this or have both active with out goign through and putting key listeners on everything etc etc. Setting mnenomics and the like seems simple so I am sure this is simple as well but I cant seem to find it.
    TIA

    You set the default button as follows:
    getRootPane().setDefaultButton( button1 );
    However, if you have more than one button, then tabbing through each button and going back to a text field will cause the last button to become the default button. I reset the default button with the following FocusListener:
    FocusAdapter resetDefaultButton = new FocusAdapter()
         public void focusLost(FocusEvent e)
              getRootPane().setDefaultButton( button1 );
    button2.addFocusListener( resetDefaultButton );
    button3.addFocusListener( resetDefaultButton );
    button4.addFocusListener( resetDefaultButton );
    Try it without the FocusListener first. Hope this helps.

  • Is there a way to change the defaulted (press 'Enter or Return on keyboard) button in a dialog box? Specifically,

    When the cookie preference is set to "ask every time" the default button (highlighted & selected when I hit return or enter) is "allow." Can I change the default button to "allow for session" so I don't have to use the mouse to select it?

    Your question/suggestion got me thinking about making a programmable function key (PFK), but I couldn't think how to make a PFK represent a mouse click. Then I tried the option [ ⌥ ] key (I don't have Alt [⎇ ] ) and the s, with or without the shift. I tried the command [⌘] key, and finally the control [⌃] key with the s — that's the one that worked. 8¬D
    I remembered scripting radio buttons, which might apply here, but it's been too long ago.
    Thank you for pointing me in a new direction, that will do well enough 'till I find out if the default button(s) can be changed in dialog boxes in general.

  • "Return for Correction" button in SSHR approval notification directing to External URL

    In SSHR approval workflow notification mail, if we click on "Request for Correction" button, an incorrect URL is loaded.
    1 - Where should this be setup to direct to the particular notification in workflist in Oracle page?
    2 - How can we remove this functionality in the notification?
    Thanks,
    Sumanth

    Check the Node attributes in the Return for Correction process through workflow builder.  That should tell you where it will be sending the email.

  • Can i place a return to default button on my main page

    i would like to have basically an emurgency return to default switch on my run page is that possible

    I need to have the default button only effect some of the controllers the VI you have in your example affects all items on my run page even my temperature and pressure measuring items is there a way I can segregate and isolate groups of items even if I have to use multiple right now I would be OK with that(actually almost prefer that).
     You can make an array of references, containing references to all controls you want to reset and the simply autoindex over them in a FOR loop whenever needed to reset each to defaults. You could even match it to a boolean array in order to select which ones you want to reset at runtime.
    Here's a rough draft (LabVIEW 8.5). Note that you can easily mix references for various controls (boolean, slides, etc). They will be coreced to the common generic class at the "built array" node.

    Please tell us in what way "it does not work correctly". Most likely it's some trivial thing.

  • Return to begining button?

    is there a shortcut to return to the begining of the video instead of dragging the timeline each time for viewing?

    Apple has published a quick reference guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/FinalCutExpressHD_QuickRef.pdf), though for FCE3.5, and can be used for FCE4 as well.

  • Chapter playlist returns to same button

    Hi, Forum Viewers,
    This Newbee has made a Main Menu page with two buttons (Play All and Chapters).  No problems everything works.  The Chapters page is where the fun begins: Each Chapter is a small section of the Whole Enchilada that one sees when one clicks on Play All from the Main Menu.  I have made a Chapter Playlist for each Chapter.  The buttons on the Chapters Page all work properly; however, after the 2nd Chapter Plays, its own button is highlighted.  I want the next button to be highlighted!  I double checked: the end action (what I want to happen) is correctly formulated, but the right action is not happening!  Is this glitch something anyone else has run into?  Is there anything I can do to fix this?
    Thank you in advance!

    And what is that? What method are you using to set end actions?
    I have clicked the arrow button on the far right and clicked "Specify Link" at the bottom.  Then, I specified that I wanted the end action to bring the viewer back to the Chapters page, with the next button highlighted.

  • How to keep the select arrow on the same button when returning to the menue after finished feature?

    Hello,
    just after my primary question is answered and I corrected my buttons there's another one which I cannot answer myself:
    I'm putting together a DVD with menues which contain a lot of options/buttons. People who watched the DVD wanted that the select/highlight arrow stays/returns to the button they selected prior. That's because there are so many buttons/options that some people might not remember which feature they just watched. So this means if people select the "Vacation 2008" button/feature the select/highlight arrow should be on the same button after the feature is finished and it returns to the menue.
    Since I haven't seen any functions/options for this: Is it possible to do or isn't it or does it happen just naturally?
    Hope this isn't too confusing :-)
    Help is appreciated!
    Thank you,
    Chris...

    ChrisHei wrote:
    Where would I select "Last Menu" for this to happen? In the properties for the button or for the timeline? And where exactly: "overwrite" or "remote menu" selection?
    Not in any override. Don't set any overrides unless you understand exactly how they work, or they will royally mess up your disc navigation.
    Normally, you select "Return to Last Menu" for an end action of the object (timeline, slideshow, playlist, etc.) that is playing. You can also set the Menu Remote property for the timeline/slideshow to "Return to Last Menu".

  • Return remote button disabled

    I'm having trouble getting the Return remote control button to behave in a DVD that I'm authoring. If I set the Return button at the disc level to call a script that does some conditional jumps, then when I play the DVD in the simulator, the Return button is disabled during playback of tracks. It's also disabled when I play the DVD using Apple's DVD Player application. (The Menu button is set to call the same script and it works fine.) Similarly, if I just set the Return button to call the main menu directly, I still have the Return button disabled (get a "Not Permitted" message when playing in Apple DVD Player, for example.)
    I have looked at the User Operations at the track level, and nothing is disabled there. Is there somewhere else the source of this problem could be hiding?
    Thanks,
    --JV

    Yep... the Return button is not well implemented in DVDSP and I'd go so far as to say that you're probably better off not using it.
    The return button is designed to allow you to navigate the disc hierarchy... it is more properly called the 'go up' button... taking you from where you are back up one 'level'. In fact it really doesn't do this very well at all, and hasn't since v1. Trai Forrester wrote a pretty good article about it, but for the life of me I can't find it now.
    You'll need to find a way around the issue - like adding logical buttons on each menu to help with the navigation.

  • How can I get responses to return to a specific email address?

    How do I get all my for responses to return to a specific email address? Does the Acrobat user need to be logged in with this email or is there an option for this?
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Looks to me like the Distribute Forms feature in Acrobat taps into the email address you have specified in Acrobat as your identity; that's where it gets the mailto: address associated with the submit button in the document message bar.
    Furthermore, if you create a form in LiveCycle the distribute process still seems to tap into Acrobat.  Just for grins you can open the distributed form in LiveCycle (better make and open a copy so you don't break the Reader extended usage rights), go & look in the object palette at the submit address property of your email submit button and it will be blank.  Surprise!  This data has migrated to one or more than one script at the document level.  And if your user then opens your LiveCycle-made form in Reader to complete and return, the submit button in the document bar corresponds to your identity email address in Acrobat.
    So I managed a quick but ugly workaround for an email submitted form by:
    Going into Acrobat:Edit/Preferences/Identity
    changing the email address in my identity to the desired return address
    distributing my form (can do either in LiveCycle or in Acrobat)
    putting my Identity email address back where it was afterwards.
    Good luck with all that.  And if anyone knows a more elegant method, do share!

  • When I open a slde show in New Yahoo Mail I can't get back to Yahoo. When I click on the "back to Yahoo" button, the screen freezes with a gray cast over it and I have to use the back button and forward button to get back to my inbox.

    This problem started immediately after I upgraded to Firefox 9.0.1
    If I open my inbox in my New Yahoo Mail, then open an email with attachments and then open the attachments to "view as a slide show"....I can't close the slide show and return to the email by clicking on the "return to Yahoo" button. If you click on it, it returns to the first pic shown, and if you click on it again, the pics disappear and a gray haze appears over most of the screen but none of the features under the gray screen work. I have found that if I hit the back page and then forward page buttons, I can get back to my inbox eventually, but this is a terrible "pain in the ass"!

  • How to set button disabled property based on backing bean method

    JDeveloper 12c
    I have a table and a button on the page. When user selects certain table row I want to enable/disable the button.
    My backing bean (which has backing bean scope in the task flow where the page is) is
    package view.backing;
    public class Studybrowse {
        public Studybrowse() {

                           disabled="#{backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.isUserAuthorized}"

    In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
    To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
    do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"delay 1
    tell application "iWeb" to activate
    You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
    Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
    WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder.  So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.
