Returning Set Top Box

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with returning equipment, particularly a set top box.
I called Verizon on June 10th and told them that I wanted to return an HD box that we've been renting to save $9.99 a month. They said that would be fine and that I would be receiving a paid return box to mail it back to them. I received an email the next day confirming the order change on the 10th, but the billing estimate included in the email says my bill will be the same and an HD Set Top Box is labeled as "existing" for my account. Also, it's now the 14th and I haven't received the paid return box.
Is any of this normal?

My experience is to take it to a UPS store, have shipped 3 or 4 boxes back to Verizon that way, worked great. The UPS store people should already know where to ship it, Verizon has a contract with UPS to handle this, and it should not cost you a thing.
One thing I would do is keep the tracking number and track the shipment all the way to Verizon and save all of that info just in case there is a screwup within Verizon and the box does not come off of your account and they try to charge you for it.

Why do they not replace the iphone with a box piece

I had bought my iphone 2 months back.And yesterday I had noticed that there is a small white dot where the network carrier name is displayed.It is clearly visible when I set the wall paper as any black photo or dark coloured photo.And it is also visible when I switch on the phone.It is visible always.I had spoken to the Iphone customer care and they said it is a hardware problem and that they will replace my phone.My problem is that I am not satisfied with the way the are replacing it.They are just going to give a phone in hand.It is not a box piece.My question is why they cannot give me a box piece? I had bought a box piece.And in the previous discussions there people who have had problem with the replaced iphones.I want them to replace it with a box piece and take back the old box peice which has a problem.

I agree with your reasonable expectation completely.
I can buy any piece of electronics at Costco, Wal-mart, Best Buy, Staples... etc and return it for a new one if the item I purchased turns out to be a lemon.
And as far as the poster that said you get a new shell, battery and screen, well that is nonsense. I talked to the Tech that was setting up my replacement phone and when I asked him about what I would get he would only say that it would look new and if I was concerned about the battery I could buy Apple care just in case the battery on the replacement didn't hold up.
Also the "Shell" on my replacement was definitely not new. I could see the cutout pattern around the controls left by a shell case on the S.S. band.
Apple is just taking advantage of people and the contracts that they have set up with the individual carriers.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Back up all databefore making any changes.

From the Calendar menu bar, select
Calendar ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts
Choose the affected account from the list on the left and uncheck the box marked
Enable this account
Then check the box again. Test.
Step 2
Make a note of the account settings, then delete the account and add it back with the same settings.

The ALV Grid Control is a tool with which you can output non-hierarchical lists in a
standardized format. The list data is displayed as a table on the screen.
The ALV Grid Control offers a range of interactive standard list functions that users need
frequently (find, sort, filter, calculate totals and subtotals, print, print preview, send list,

The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can

Ipod touch is no longer compatible with Gear Box??

I turned on Gear Box with Ipod touch attached and having been avoiding update notifications, decided to go ahead and let it update ios 5 thingy. Once updated via my laptop connection I put it back in the slot on the gear box and now I get a message on the Ipod that Gear Box no longer recognizes Ipod Touch. Tried it a few times, but just won't work. The Ipod works on the battery only. And of course it happened on Sat night so no support via phone. Any help will be appreciate.

Thanks to Gear 4, not the Apple phone support, my Ipod touch is now working with Gear box. You have to do a hard reset once or twice and then turn the Gear 4 system on, turn your Ipod touch on to music, and insert it into the dock. It should work then. If not, I suggest you contact Gear 4.

Issue with 'text box' in rtf sub template for peoplesoft XMLP

i have a weired problem using 'text Box' in a sub template. I am calling a sub template from my template. In my Sub template i have a text box ( i am using text box bcoz i want to justify the text not to the page margin but starting from a specific column.not sure if there is any other way with which i can do the same !!) . It works fine when i remove the text box from my sub template. I tried to put the text box directly in the main template and it worked fine !! it is erroring out only when i use the text box in sub template !!

When I try to sync my iPhone 4s it no longer works. I have a bunch of songs that now show up on my iPhone with a red circle with a box inside of it and they won't play, yet I can find them and play them on my Mac. What do I do?

My iphone 4s will no longer sync music from my music library on my Macbook Pro. I also have a bunch of songs that now have a red circle with a box in it next to the song on my phone and those songs will not play. They are present in my itunes library and I can play them on my Mac but they will not play on my iphone. I have tried unchecking all the music and applying those changes and syncing and it does nothing. All the same music remains on my phone, unchanged. Help! What do I do? On full keyboards with a numeric keypad, the key above the right shift is "return" & the one on the numeric section is "enter." On a Mac (or Apple IIgs ) they do have separate functions. On the "mini" keyboards, both names are on the same key, but "enter" is written in smaller letters. I'll have to check to see how that works on another Mac later today.

You cannot delete the iCloud account that is signed on to Find My iPhone unless you know the password. This is called the Activation Lock:
ACTIVATION LOCK
It is an anti-theft security measure that is a part of iOS 7. You can only get around this by following the steps in this support article:
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
Contact your friend. This is the only way around the lock.

When I click the iCloud button I get a browser with check boxes, not slider buttons and it does not have a "backup and storage" button. So I cannot set up backup.

When I open my iCloud browser it looks different than "normal." It shows the list with check boxes, not slider on-off buttons. It dos not show a "storage and backup" button so I cannot set up my backup. What is wrong?

If see something like the image below it's because you are looking at the iCloud settings on your Mac, not on an iOS device (which has sliders). Storage & Backup isn't in the Mac settings because you cannot back up your Mac to iCloud. Only iOS devices can back up to iCloud. On a Mac, you can get information about your iCloud account storage by looking at the green usage bar at the bottom and by clicking the "Manage..." button on the bottom right.

Credit memo for returns with multiple reference deliveries

Hi Experts,
I have few credit memos for returns with multilple return orders and return deliveries in document flow.
I want to find out where do we configure this setting in which there will be single credit memo for multiple deliveries.
And how system decides the common factors in deliveries for this credit memo?
Please guide.

In copy control settings of delivery document to billing document you can maintained the requirement routine Data VBRK/VBRP as 03 - Single invoice for an item category, as theinvoice spliting will be control from copy control.

Blue Screen Crash - returning with magnified screen

Somethings up with my G5 PowerPc. Its been working well for ages - but now suddenly it crashes unexpectably [often when using Safari or photoshop]. The curser stops moving, the screen goes blue for about 10 seconds - returns highly magnified - and then stops again, turns blue for a second time and then returns with the original magnification. What's going on ? It can do it again and again and again - and then not for a bit ?
Could it have anything to do with the fact the Mac also keeps looking for a bluetooth mouse - which I don't use as I am a wcom pen user?
Is it dying??

If you have any temps in the 70°C/160°F range, that's likely it.
Boot off your original G5 Install Disk while holding down Option/alt key to select AHT, then run the extended Apple Hardware Test. Some models have a separate AHT CD.
