Returning to BPF Page creating another tab

Hi experts,
evrytime i click the return to BPF the internet browser creates another tab for the same bpf page.. is there a way that whenever i return to BPF, it will just point me to the already opened BPF page and not create another tab?

Firefox has always opened new tabs in a blank page, so I'm guessing that the way you had it before was added by an extension.
If you to to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, are there any extensions disabled?
In any case, you can still do this with a mouse shortcut. Hold down the Ctrl key as you drag a tab to an empty area on the tab bar.

Firefox 3.6.18 is causing the webpages to bounce (or shake) up and down. Oddly, this doesn't happen if I open your "Ask a Question" page in another tab. Then the webpages in all the tabs stop shaking/bouncing.

I just downloaded and installed version 3.6.18. The web pages that are displayed shake (or bounce) up and down. Oddly enough, when I open your "Ask a Question" feature in another tab, the problem stops. But only as long as I keep that particular tab open.
I am running an eMachine T2245 with Windows XP using SP2. I have numerous add-ons, including Flashblock, 1.5.14.2, KeyScrambler 2.8.0.1, MultiRow Bookmarks Toolbar 5.0.1, NoScript 2.1.2rc4, and Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.6.

I found a "work around". I installed Incredible Bookmarks 0.7.3. That allows me to add an additional Bookmarks Toolbar without causing the bouncing problem.
Putting bookmarks in the IB bar was a little tricky. It allows customization, but only to the extent of choosing bookmarks by topic or by a subdirectory of the Bookmarks Menu. What I actually put on the toolbar are such subdirectories (or folders), so I normally could only put one at a time. (This problem doesn't exist with the Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar, which allows you to copy subfolders, not just individual bookmarks).
I solved the problem by moving the additional folders I wanted to put in the IB Toolbar into a folder I (cleverly) called "IB Toolbar", then selected that for the actual Toolbar. The result: a row of folders, exactly what I wanted. (Actually, it's a second row of folders, since I still have the original Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar.)
I'd still prefer MultiRow, but that doesn't appear to be working with Firefox 3.6.18 and higher, so until I upgrade to Firefox 5 (and see if the Plus version will work) this will have to do.

hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

View Multi Photos In Another Tab

I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to view multi photo/pics in a different tab or window?
In IE you use to have IE Image and in Firefox you have the option to view photos/files on a page in another tab or window.
Does Safari have a program/plug-in where I can do this still?
Also, I've noticed a couple forums I belong to, when I try to save a photo, it only saves as index.php instead of the actual picture file name. Any reason behind that?
Any help and guidance would be most appreciated!

I currently run OS X 10.10.1
Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

Can I create two pages, in a "tabbed" layout?

I am not sure I am using the correct terminology, but basically want I'd like to do is have a form, and instructions on a single document. I would like to make the form on one tab, while the instructions are on another tab (two separate pages, separated by folder tabs at the top, essentially how your internet brower appears when you have more than one URL open. (Am I explaining this correctly for everyone to understand?)
Essentially, I'd like to have one screen appear when you open the PDF with the instructions on it, then at the top, create a "Tab" or "index" to toggle over to the form itself. This way, I could have all my forms appear with their instructions. I'd rather not have the instructions appear above or below the form (in line), or have the instructions print... so this is why I thought the tabs at the top would separate the form from the instructions.
If anyone knows how to do such a technique, can you let me know? I am using LiveCycle 8.0

Hi Jay,
There's no support built in to XFA Forms but you can a acheive something similar. This sample might get you started.
I've used tabs a couple of times, but found they don't work all that well because of the hassle of getting them to print properly.
But does suit some situations, so maybe this gives you a starting point.

Generalizing the return page number when linking to a page in another app

Hello.
I know how to link to a page in another app within the same workspace. However, my problem arises when the user tries to go back to the page in the first app.
Is there a way to "generalize" the "return path". I do not want to hard-code the return page number within a "back link" element on the target page. I was wondering if there is some sort of substitution string I can use in the return http address that automatically "knows" what the returning page number is. Hope I'm making sense here.

As long as i know something like this is not possible.
But you can emulate it this way (for this example i will assume that you want the smaller tab-canvas placed on the second page of the bigger tab-canvas) :
1. create a tab-canvas
2. create a stacked-canvas with bevel=none
3. create a new tab-canvas and place it on your stacked-canvas
4. make the stacked-canvas invisible
5. through the trigger WHEN-TAB-PAGE-CHANGED make your stacked-canvas visible whenever you are on page 2 and invisible whenever you are on another page.
6. adjust the coordinates of your stacked-canvas so it will appear right above the bigger tab-canvas

You installed a variant of the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
This malware has many variants. Anyone else finding this comment should not expect it to be applicable.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

The trouble may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked

(C) browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external - for links in other programs
-1 = apply the setting under (A) to external links (default)
3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window

Navigate from a chart to another tab page

I have a requirement to navigate from a chart to another tab page. Right now my implementation requires that I select one of the bars on the chart to navigate which also performs filtering. I want to be able to click any area on the request (not just the bars) that contains the chart to take me to another tab page and I don't want any filtering. Can this be done?

The method that recommended is what I am currently using. However, I want to be able to click anywhere on the chart not just the bars. Is there away to navigate by clicking on anywhere within a section?

Calling a form in a tab from another form in another tab, same page

I've created a page with three tabs and a different form for each tab, then
I've placed a button in each form to call the following form, using this code:

If I have got your requirement correct, then this is what you are looking for :-
1> you have 3 forms, one in each tab
2> there is a button in a form in tab1 and when you click the button, the information entered in the form in tab1 will be passed to the form in say, tab3, and page with tab3 should be shown.
This is possible. You need to write some pl/sql code to get this done.
Portal provides a placeholder object called wwsto_api_session. The methods of this object will enable you to set and get values.
The general steps would be :-
1> for the form in tab1, write pl/sql button handler code for the button to set the form inputs into the wwsto_api_session object
2> Use form's Call/Go feature to call/go to the URL of the page's 3rd tab;
3> for the form in tab3, write pl/sql code in the additional pl/sql section (...before displaying the page) to get the values from the placeholder object and use it in the form.

Creating another web page

When I open I-web it opens my website (www.taffyproductions.com). I have been asked to create another web site. How do I create another website and be able to access either one down the road. I-web doesn't act like normal applications, in that it seems to only access one project at a time.

iWeb stores your website information in a domain file located in Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb.
A new site can be created on the same domain file by selecting New Site from the iWeb File menu.
It is better to start your new site on a separate domain file so that you can load your sites in to iWeb, work on them and publish them individually.

Once you have published your website you cannot import these files back into iWeb. Therefore it is essential to backup your domain file(s) regularly - preferably to an external drive.
