I would like to have my Revel account deleted as soon as possible. I do not have any content or images on my account at this time, so everything is prepared for deletion. Thanks.

    Many thanks for that. Our Partner has associated my user with our device and I received the invite email. I have activated the OnPlus account via the email, however our device is not present on my dashboard.
    The Partner portal shows my account status as Rejected(Account Used Elsewhere) on the Customer Logins.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Have you copied any photos you want from revel? Can you confirm the email of the account? Is it the same account you use for this forum? (gmail)
    Once you confirm, I can delete the revel account for you. Can you share your reasons? Are there features that revel does not have that you desire?

  • How do I cancel my Revel account and delete my photos without canceling my Adobe account?

    In August, I set up and tried using Revel in conjunction with Photoshop Elements 12 on my iMac, iPad, and iPhone.  I now regret doing so and am totally dissatisfied with the functionality of Revel.  I was not able to get mobile albums successfully set up via Photoshop Elements 12 so I could share with others, which I thought would be one of the nice features.  Revel also put duplicates of all my photos back on my computer in a separate folder.  While I started out with over 30,000 photos on my computer, I soon realized my catalog now had well over 60,000 photos.  I got so fed up that I have deleted Revel from my iMac and other devices and have disabled Revel in the Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer so that it won't operate anymore.  I also deleted the 30,000 duplicate photos from my computer.  
    I still presumably have, however, over 30,000 photos in the Revel Cloud that I want deleted.  I also unfortunately signed up for a one year Revel subscription which I can't figure out how to cancel, although I luckily did not sign up for automatic renewal.  I assume Adobe will hold on to my money and that I may be stuck with the $63.59 including sales tax that I paid for it.  How can I get my Revel account closed, the photos deleted from the cloud, and my $63.59 refunded?

    Just stop using it, and uninstall the iCloud control panel in exactly the same way as you would any other software.

    Hi Jason, I can take care of this for you. All you need to do is delete the apps and I can delete the account.
    Since your email does not match the email you use on this forum, you will need to reply to the email that I will send you (at the email registered with your revel account) to confirm you wish me to delete that account.

    Please ensure you have copies if any photos you wish to save. Does the account you want deleted use the same login as this forum (@web.de account)?Once you confirm that is the correct account and that you have saved any photos you need, I can delete the revel account for you and all files associated with it.

    The final step in the 'account deletion/removal' process is to file your request directly with Skype Customer Service as we here in the Community are not authorized to process account-related maintenance service requests.
    Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
    If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
    Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
    Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

  • E-mailing Revel albums to non-Revel account recipients

    The FAQ and Pattie F's answer to another user's question about sharing albums state that to share an album with a non-Revel account holder, all that is required is to send the album link to the user and the user will then be able to click on the link and see the album.  What actually happens is that the user is asked to sign in through a linked account - Revel, Facebook, or Google.  The user cannot apparently simply click on the album link and view the photos.  If this in fact is required, the FAQ is inaccurate and misleading and the sharing function is much more restrictive than photshop.com where any e-mail recipient could view albums without having to sign in through any linked account.  Please clarify.  Thanks.  

    I've tested it a few times, and it appears to work as advertised.  I wonder if the lengthy URL string got corrupted somehow in your case; with this new scheme of Adobe (copying lengthly strings to e-mails), wouldn't be a hard thing to do.  The Revel URL is in the first part of the lengthy string, and so I can see user getting diverted to the base URL -- where of course one does have to sign in.
    As I posted in a reply earlier this year...
    On a slide note, I tried the method of sharing an album on PC as described in the Adobe FAQ, and it worked pretty well. Two minor things I'd add: (1) You have to first click the URL field before the copy, and (2) the URL includes two non-functional characters at the end (#!) that can be deleted from the e-mail.
    Just be sure you don't accidently change anything else in the string.

    Currently we are trying to implement OpenText as the Archive Server for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.
    We did able to archive documents (mostly ARCHIVELNK) into OpenText but have problems on deleting documents in the Archive Server when the retention date expired. Referring to OpenTextu2019s documentations, the Archive Server will delete the documents when it received a delete request from the leading application.
    We are a bit confused on how does SAP send a delete request to the Archive Server. Are there any TCode or program required to achieve this approach?

    Hi,
    There is no link between update type and account assignment reference. I will explain in brief so that you can understand it better.  Let us take the case of fixed deposit.  You are having 2 kinds of fixed deposit - 1 in local currency and another in foreign currency.   Assume both are managed using different product types say 51A and 51B.  Now while making an investment, both are going to post similar entries - Dr investment account (asset) Cr Bank account.  Hence we assign same update types for both.  And thus the posting specification will also be same and the account symbols will also be same.
    But the actual  G/L account for both is going to be different because in general we manage investments in local currencies separately with that of foreign currencies in our ledger.  This is where we have 2 different account assignment references and when we assign the G/L accounts to account symbol, we make it pick different G/L accounts for same account symbol using different account assignment references.
    Hope this clears your doubt.  But please note this is just 1 way of doing it.  We can manage the same scenario using 1 account assignment reference itself and make it to post to different G/L accounts using the different currency option.
