Revel stops uploading photos from Mac Store OS X App

After dropping a folder of images into Revel, the application indexes the photos, then begins uploading them. They stop uploading randomly, and I can't restart the upload process. I must delete the entire library to continue, and now I've run out of the unlimited trial and unsure if I want to use Revel as my music storage and organization solution.

Do you get any kind of error?

  • Uploading Photos from Mac (iphoto) to Craig's List. actual picture doesn't upload, just an unusable path

Unlike my old PC, I am unable to extract photos from I-photo to the Craigs List web posting location.  I need this so as to offer items for sale.
    Any ideas?

I recently put a photo on Craigslist myself. I first selected the photo in iPhoto and then used the iPhoto File menu command to export a copy to my desktop. There may be other ways but that definitely worked.

  • Bandwidth problems with uploading photos from Mac to iCloud??

We do not have blisteringly fast DSL & I am getting zero photos uploading from my Mac to the iCloud Photos.   Anyone else encountered this???  I am hoping I can tag on to a faster WiFi at some point to see if that helps .... Current on all OS & iOS's.....

I am using a n'bor's (faster, though only in the 10mg or so range) WiFi
    What is a " n'bor' " ?

    Rixonruss,
The size of your photos and videos you mark in Elements for upload depicts how much data is being uploaded. However for download, only small size previews get downloaded first unless you download the originals from Elements whenever needed in any Elements workflows.

  • How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

There is no direct link from PSE 9 to revel the way there was to photoshop.com. Revel didn't exist when PSE 9 was written and there's nothing in PSE 9 that can understand or connect with Revel. You are not going to be able to do everything you could do with photoshop.com, like keep your catalog synced. You use a web browser and find your photos to share exactly the same way you would if they were not in the organizer at all.

I recently updated my iphone software and now I can't upload photos from iphone to mac computer. Help please.

The following link has 2 methods for importing photos to a Mac (not counting Photo Stream). Are you using iPhoto or Image Capture? If you follow the steps in the link for that method, what exactly happens that doesn't allow the upload? iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer

  • Iphoto has stopped uploading photos and frozen. I have paid online for the book - what to do?

Hi there.. iphoto has stopped uploading photos and the programme has frozen on me. It assembled the book (step 1.), then did not complete the upload (step 2). Prior to these steps I provided my C/C detals and paid for the book.  i had to Force Quit the iPhoto app, and now wondering what to do!? If I try to buy the book again, then it asks for my C/C details...

Did you get a confirmation email from Apple?  Click on the Store button at the top of this page and use the Account ➙ Track a Purchase link.  That will tell you if they received your book.  Apple doesn't charge the card until it is shipped.  You can also check with your credit card company to see if there's been a charge from Apple.
Try previewing the book by Control-clicking in the background of the view all pages in iPhoto and select Preview Book or Save Book as PDF:
If that process fails then there's a work around for it.  Boot into  Safe Mode and preview the book again to make sure you can get a PDF of the book.  If you can then order the book while still in Safe Mode.  Save the PDF file to compare with the printed book. If the PDF file is satisfactory the printed book should match it.
What size book are you ordering?  Xtra large?

  • I cannot upload photos from iPhoto 9 to Flikr. When I attempt to do so, I get the message "the login details or auth token passed were invalid." Please help.

I cannot upload photos from iPhoto 9 to Flikr. When I try, I get the message "the login details or auth token passed were invalid."  I am using iPhoto 9 version 8.1.2, and my OS is 10.9.5. My computer is a MacBook Pro. I do not have this trouble with my iMac.  This trouble started before I updated to OS10.9.5.  I do not have this problem when uploading to FaceBook or sending by e-mail.
This problem started when I tried to upload some photos after hitting the "use other account" tab. This took me to a Flikr site asking me for permission to make my iPhoto information available to others.  I clicked "yes," and then I changed my mind and clicked "no." I haven't been able to upload to Flikr since.
I searched Flikr and Yahoo for a solution, and Yahoo says the trouble is in iPhoto.  I checked my Flikr account, and iPhoto extensions are enabled.
I need to upload some school and alumni photos, so I sure could use some help. I am Not computer proficient.  Thank you.

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

Do you have Aperture installed? I found your model on a compatibility list; however, there was a note that it requires Aperture 2 to be installed:
    http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html
    According to this excerpt:
To see a list of digital cameras with RAW-format support that are compatible with iPhoto, visit this Aperture webpage (any camera compatible with Aperture, Apple’s advanced photo editing and management program, is compatible with iPhoto as well)
which is at the bottom of this page:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iPhoto/9.0/en/pht41627265.html
I may be wrong, but I interpret that info to mean you need Aperture 2 before iPhoto will work with RAW?

  • Keynote for iOS file size: inserting photos from Mac first or from iPad?

    Hi!
This one is for people with advanced and extensive knowledge of Keynote for Mac and for iOS:
Does inserting pictures in Keynote for iOS from the Photos app result in a leaner file size than importing the Keynote file with pictures already inserted from the Keynote for Mac app?

    Hey Timmy,
I use Dropbox to get my photos to/from my iPad to my computer wirelessly (no iTunes). The process below is one I posted a few weeks ago for the opposite process than what you're wanting to do (from iPad to computer) but Dropbox will work both ways. Just set up a Dropbox folder on your computer and set up the Dropbox app on your iPad and they will both be in sync automatically.
    Hope this helps!
    ~Joe
---from a post I did a few weeks ago---
The Dropbox app has a very cool auto-upload process that will automatically upload photos from the iPad Camera Roll to Dropbox.
First sign up for a free Dropbox account from your computer.
Then, download the free Dropbox app on your iPad.
Log in to the Dropbox app on the iPad with your new account and click on the Photos icon in the lower left corner of the screen (second one from the left).
Select "Enable Camera Upload" and "Only Wi-Fi." The upload process will begin for all existing photos in the Camera Roll.
From now on, all future photos taken by the iPad will automatically upload to the Dropbox folder. You can then download your photos from Dropbox to your computer by going to http://www.dropbox.com, logging in to your account, and downloading the photos. You can then put the photos on a USB drive or burn to a CD or upload them to a photo processing website.
    Hope this helps!
    ~Joe

  • Uploading photos from iPhoto to Walmart

    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1570825&tstart=147
I read the above thread and it is noted as solved, but I disagree. My mother has brand new Mac Book Pro with iPhoto 08. I have a iMac with iPhoto 08. When we go to upload photod to Walmart.com using the upload tool, my mothers new Mac Book Pro has the IPhoto library as a "place" to upload photos from... my iMac does not have that option. Both using same version of the software.
I have screenshots to post but can not find a way to post here.
    anyone have this issue?

For accessing photos for use outside of iPhoto read Terence Devlin's treatise on file access.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.
