Reversal of unrestriced stock to quality stock

hell,
any body pls explain me when i am doing revesal stock tranfer from quality to unrestriced stock in MB1B through 322 Movement type its giving error as transfer the material through QM only. actually my client accendently tranfer the rejected material in unrestriceted stock he wants do reversal. how can i do.

Hai,
      In your case , you can deactivate the inspection type in MM02,if no stock is avaliable .
      if any stock is avaliable ,the system would not allow to deactivate.
     Once the it is deactivated, you activate the stock tranfer inspection type such 08 in mm02 and move the stock through mb1b .
     when tranfer the stock , the inspection lot will be created and the stock will be moved to quality.
     kindly check this and revet back

User issued qty from quality stock to cost centre trough T-Code MI10. Inspection lot against the issue qty has status u201CREL CALC SPCO PRII CROK QLCHu201D This lot has been generated through mov 101 against PO (GR). After doing GR qty posted in quality stock. By mistake user has issued qty from quality stock to cost centre trough T-Code MI10. For same movement type was 704.
Now they want same qty back in quality stock also they want to do UD for the same. How to get back this stock in quality stock?

hi Sandy,
Quickest and easiest option without lot of configuration and process change for your scneario will be ,
The transaction code is MB0A.
The steps for executing the above trancode is as follows.
Inputs:-
Posting date : UD date.
Movement type : 102
Enter relevant plant, storage location, vendor and the material code
The purchase order/sch.agreement for the given vendor-matl-plant combination will be displayed.
Select the correct PO and click adopt selected.
The material with quantities to be reversed will appear in various line items. Select the correct quantity for which the reversal to be made.
Click adopt + details
Enter storage location
Remove "X" in the stocktype field
Save.
Material document will be generated.
The correct material could be inwarded again and correct usage decision can be taken against this lot.
Get approval from Materials and Finance guys.   As long as your accounting documents nurlifies each other , you should be good to go.
If not you have to use the same proess   witht twiests , with other movement types for which you have activated inspection type.

Customer consgmt stock to quality stock

Hi experts,
I´m using a consignment stock scenario for some customer in SD.
Depends on the transaction to, for example, returns delivery for the sales order, the system uses 632 or 634 standard movement type. This mov. type affects the unrestricted stock.
My question is, there are a standard movement type to return the materials to a quality stock instead to the unrestr. stock? This is because I have to put the material in this stock (quality) and then, in another process, move it to the unrestricted stock.
In case I need to create a new movement type to do this, where can I specify the type of stock (quality, blocked, unrestr) that the movement type will afect?

Move quality stock to quality stock

Hi,
I have a requirement where i want to split my quality stock with different batches in the same storage location. I tried doing it with movement type 323 in MB1B but it throws me error as "Change the inspection stock of material 25-0323-08 in QM only".
Can someone please help me what to do next?

If your material is managed through QM (inspection lot) then system won't allow you to post QI stock from QI through movement. You have to manage QI stock through inspection lot.
What about material transfer through inspection lot stock posting tab? Go to inspection lot and post stock to "To new material" field and enter new material & batch and save your entry.
Hope this should work in your case. Revert back if any question.

Quality stock in APO

Hi Experts,
Can you tell me how we can how we can ditinguish unrestricted stock and qualiy stock in APO
In our sceneraio, Right now Business able to issue un restricted stock and quality stock both, thts problem
User able to issue both unrestricted and quality stock as well, thts part of problem
We don't want to users to use Quality restricted stock.
Can we do something in GATP to block stock for quality inspection.
Is there any way we can include Quality inspection in APO

The different types of stock in APO can be distinguished using stock categories. As per standard APO, the unrestricted stock will have category CC , the stock in quality inspection will have category CF (i think that is what you are referring to as quality stock).
If you go to /n/sapapo/rrp3 and view a material branch, that carries both unrestricted and quality stock, then you can see that they appear under different categories (CC and CF). To exclude quality stock from your planning / GATP all you have to do is go to the category group ST1 and remove CF from that category group. But remember this will have impact on all materials and hence is a very critical change .

In the Material Master, activate the QM view and activate Inspection Type 04 for FG and 03 for SFG.
But, once the stock comes in the Quality stock, you need to do RR and UD to transfer it to unrestricted stock using transaction QA32.

GR Blocked/ Quality Stock

How to check if an item has been removed from GR Blocked/ Quality stock

First of all , GR Blocked stock and Quality stocks are totally different.
GR Blocked stock is NOT your stock , its not a part of your Valuated Inventory and is NOT relevant for Invoicing.
You can check all the POs for which GR-Block stock exists (i.e. 103 done but 105 is pending) in ME2M using Selection Parameter "WE104"

Hello,
To post the stock from block stock to quality stock you can use movement type 349
Go to MB1B.
Enter movement type as 349, plant as per your setting and storage location.
Now press enter and enter the material and save. This will move stock from block stock to quality inpscetion stock
Now to issue stock for sampling you have to use movement type 331 in T-code MB1B

what you want to do whether you want to post the stock from unresticted stock to quality stock or you want to post the sale return stock quality stock .
If so transfer post the stock through MB1B with movement type 322E which will post the sales order stock from unresticted to sales order to quality stock.

GR-blocked stock VS Blocked stock

Dear all,
I still have some confuse with the concept and use of GR-blocked stock and blocked stock.
As far as I know, GR-blocked stock is usually triggered at the point of goods receipt with ref to PO. If the goods are not satisfy with the requirement, then post the goods to GR-blocked stock via 103.
However, under what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?

Good receipts is done in Unrestricted stock (or) Qualtiy Stock (or) BLOCKED stock
Movement type - 101 Unrestricted stock (or) Quality Stock
what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?
during inwarding if you found that the lot will having problem where the value is more and qty is more
you will inward in Blocked stock
Movement type -- 103 - For blocked stock in this you are moving to block stock if you see the P.O history of the p.o. there will be qty updation and value updation is not there
when u move from block stock to unrestricted stock using movement type 105
stock will be getting updated and valu also

Deficit of BA stock in Quality Inspection

Hi All,
I have a situation that's a bit complicated. I hope I don't confuse anyone. I'm trying to do a UD for an item, but I'm getting a Deficit of BA stock in quality inspection.
We purchased 200,000 of an item and a GR was done. This was done during inventory, the item was physically counted and someone made an error in the count. At that point an inventory adjustment transaction was done deducting 151,000 from inventory, leaving 49,000. I believe that somewhere in this mess someone cancelled the material document that was created when the 200,000 was received in the first time, so technically, the 49,000 doesn't really exist in the system.
Later that day, when it was discovered that the physical count was entered incorrectly, the inventory adjustment transaction was also reversed.
As a result of the above we now have two inspection lots hung up in QI, one for 151,000 and one for 49,000, and we can't seem to get rid of them.
When we attempt to do a usage decision we get the following error message:
"49,000 EA incorrect posting to block stock, error msg:
Deficit of BA stock in qual. insp 49,000 ea:"
BTW, none of these quantities (The 49,000 or 151,000) shows up in MMBE. We've tried posting the stock in QA32, but of course it doesn't exist. What are we missing?

If lot status is ' REL CALC SPRQ' that means this lot is not canceled, you should be able to post. If the lot status would have been LTCA then selection profile will help you in filtering canceled lots.
please give inputs on following:

I still believe that the status can't be REL CALC SPRQ, one more thing, you said you purchases 200,000 then how you get two lots of 151000 and 49000? what insp type is activated please confirm?
If stocks are not available then you should Block the lot as nothing is required from this lot.
If status is 'REL CALC SPRQ' then go to MIGO and cancel that document strait away.

Remove stock from Quality Inspection

Dear All,
In material master by mistak quality inspection flag was active in packing material with 01 inspection type.
When we received material it goes for quality inspection after MIGO. So in MMBE it shows in Quality Inspection.
Now the Plant in which MIGO was prepared has no quality related data maintained.
We tried to reverese MIGO document but system not allowing to do as srock is in Quality inspection.
Is there any way to reverse the MIGO or moving stock from quality to unrestricted?

Did you identify the original material document and then try MBST transaction to cancel the document?
When you use the term "reverse" it sound like you are trying to do a 102 against the 101. You can't reverse the transaction, you have to use MBST to cancel the transaction.
Otherwise you have to set up enough QM data to process the lot.

Hi Prasad, Make sure that inspection type 08 is assigned and activated in Material Master's QM view. Then you would be able to move the stock from unrestricted to quality using MB1B (Mvt/Type 322).

Cancel M/t Doc with Quality Stock

Dear All,
I am facing the problem in cancellation of material document with Quality Stock.
I am explaining my scenario, when GR is posted the stock directly comes to Quality stock because, QM is activated.After that QM users release the quality plan in QA32.Then, u know it comes to Un-restriced stock.After that inventory person trying to cancel this material document in MIGO(cancellation) transaction, but the system not allowing to post.So, what we are doing, cancel in MB01 transaction with respect to PO itself in that case, we are manually removing the "X'indicator for quality stock when we posting.
But, in purchase order history, its showing the 102 Mvt.type.But, its not showing in J1iex(Posted-101) document flow (cancel-102) not showing for item wise Excise data.Part-1 entries not all cancelling with respect to excise.
I also check the scenario of GR - Quality Stock & Cancel(MIGO) - Quality stock. the J1iex document flow correctly updating..
But, the GR - Quality Stock, Cancel(MB01) - Un-restricted Stock, J1iex document flow not all updating..
Please resolve my issue experts!!!

Hello,
It is std SAp functionality in CIN.
The part1 entries will get cancelled only if the material document is cancelled through transaction MIGO - Cancellation.
It won't get updated if you are using MBST or MB01/MIGO with 102 movement type.
Once QC has released the stock, it is not possible to cancel the material document through MIGO-Cancellation.
But for that, what you can do is that cancel the Usage decision (UD) done through QA32. Check the below SAP Notes for UD reversal logic.
