Reversal settlement rule CJ88 last month period? Possible?

Hi All,
Is it possible to reverse the settlement that has been done last month or last 2 month and then settle to recent month? is there any impact to FICO module? How can we do the correct reversal?
Plz advice.

Plz give me some advice. I have scenario : In the end of december 2008, we will do settlement project to GL account and in 1st or 2nd January 2009 we are going to do reversal using CJ88.
Is there any issue?

Correct Settlement Rule not extracted from R3

Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help with my issue:
There are 2 settlement rules for a specific WBS in R3. Datasource: 0WBS_ELEMT_ATTR
Settlement Rule 1: valid from Period 0 to Period 1 Year 2007,
Settlement Rule 2: valid from Period 2 Year 2007 until Period 16 Year 9999
Master data in BI for the specific WBS is only picking up Settlement Rule 1.
I ran rsa3, to check data in R3, and it is also showing Settlement Rule 1.
Please could anyone give me some advise on how to go about this issue?

While filling the Setup tables also have you restricted with the Settlement Rules.. if so you need to set only for once you cannot have 2 settlement rules separately for the same DS and recheck your settlement Periods again ..
RSA3 shows only the filled data, if it is not showing the 2nd one then you have not filled the data for the same.

How to set variant which gives date range of last month for sel.scr field

I want to set a variant which can do dynamic date calculation, need get last month period i.e when i select a variant it should always pick last month start date & end date for the period selection field. How can i achieve that. Please help me to know that.

I think in the date selection you can put in the calculations last month start date and end date, did you see what options you are getting in the variant? I am not in front of the system, so can't see.
<b>I just looked up and found that you can specify the first and last day of the last month in the variant dynamic value setting.</b> When you saving the variant, select the check box for the SELECTION VARIABLE and then click the dynamic value calculation second traffic light. Then you will get drop down where you can select the values.

Problem with periodic settlement rule

Hello everybody.
We are working with SAP ECC 6.0, in a poultry industry which produces egg for consumption. We have defined for address the production costs, a periodic Settlement Rule, considering the percentage of egg production by type (A, B, C, Jumbo, and so on), for each shed. The order is created with 18 weeks of life during the growing chickens phase, and 62 weeks during the production phase (eggs production). The process requires settling them on a daily basis to be able to update the cost of the product. Due to the own typical of the process, each bird produces a variable amount of eggs by type and day, therefore it is not possible to be established with exactitude the percentage of the daily production of each type of egg. Due to it, when we establish the percentage of the Settlement rule, these do not reflect the reality of the production of the day, because they are fixed by the system after the first settlement. We need to know if a possibility exists of being able to daily update the percentages of the Settlement rule before you settle each order daily maintaining the same order.

Settlement rule set to Periodic, remaining balance cannot be settled

Hi!
We are trying to settle the remaining balance of a network to another network. Previous balances were already settled before. However, upon checking the network that is to be settled, the settlement rule that was set was periodic and the date that it was last used was last March. Now that we are trying to settle the balances due to the postings for the period of April in CJ88, the message that there is no more to settle appears. Is it because of the previous settlement rules that was maintained? I was thinking of adding another rule wherein the settlement is set to FUL already. Kindly help me please. =)

I am facing the similar issue in which i have some cost to settle and settlement rule that i am using is periodic. But when i try to settle the cost using ko88, it gives a message that "There is nothing to settle ".
Could you please guide me as to what you did and how did your issue get resolves. i guess i might be encountering the same issue.

CJB1/CJB2 will Create Settlement Rule only on Last level of WBS

In Investment projects the client want to settle last level WBS to top level WBS and from top level WBS to AUC and capitalise it. Since we have so many WBS in structure hence we want to use CJB1/CJB2 for settlement rule creation. But CJB1 and CJB2 is createing WBS on all level of WBS. Can any body tell me, what configuration/settings i need to do so that CJB1/CJB2 will create Settlement Rule only on Last level of WBS.

I checked in SPRO; PS > Costs > Automatic & Periodic Allocations > Settlement > Sett Rule for WBS > BADI for CJB1 / CJB2, there is so many BADI is available. Please let me know BADI name, which is help me to create settlement rule create at WBS last level through CJB1 / CJB2.

We had a month End scenario where the depreciation for a company code is not executed for the last month and closed the period without checking it.
While running the Depreciation posting for this month we encounted a error that last motn period is closed. Can we do the depreciation without opening the period closed. Kindly let us know the options available.

Lakshmi,
There is no way you can post depreciation without opening the prior periods. Please discuss with your business and secure all necessarry approval, I believe the business has a process on this kind of situations. As long as it is fully documented, auditors will not find it wrong.
This is the best time to improve your process, think of possible ways so that business will not forget to post depreciation (e.g send automatic email during 3 days before, 2 days before., 1 day before and during the day of depreciation run).

You can open / Initialize previous period with MMPI transaction, however, using this T-code please go through <b>OSS note 487381</b>, the main contents as as follow:
Before you start period closing with initialization, you must be aware of the consequences of period closing with initialization.This note describes the possible data inconsistencies that might occur if you carry out the initialization in a productive system.The resulting inconsistencies are not to be traced back to a system error but they are a result of the period closing program with initialization
The initialization of the posting period to a previous or to any posting period may lead to the loss of the information of the inventory balances of the previous periods.The book value of the current posting period is taken as the basis also for values of the previous period in this case.
If you want to continue working with this new posting period, in addition you should execute report Z_DEL_HIST_ENTRIES attached so that history entries greater or equal to the new posting period will be deleted.

CO Order settlement rule to be changed on monthly basis.

We have a scenario where in CO orders (i.e. orders created in KKF1) which is being used for goods issue (MT 261). Settlement rule is defined in the order and the receiver is CO-PA.
Now the requirement is, values lying in each order needs to be distributed to say 3 profit center on every month. This distribution rule is subject to change on a monthly basis. I know we can give the percentage say 50% to PC 1, 20% to PC 2 and 30% to PC 3.
But this rule is subject to change every month. How can the user give the Settlement rule manually every time which is very time consuming. Even if we gives it cannot exceed 999 line items.User wants to use the Same co order.

Even While trying to settle to Cost centre, system is not allowing to settle to cost centre for apr 2014. I have already remove the 100% indicator in settlement profile.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Possibility of creating Settlement Rule in Background?

           When I am doing TECO of the Maintenance Order everytime I have to create Settlement Rule.
           My settlement receiver Category (Cost Center) and Cost Center are fixed for Order Type.
           Is it possible to create Settlement rule in the background while doing TECO of the Order.
           Please suggest if any User Exit is there.

We are looking at exactly the same issue.
As you are aware, you can only default one cost centre via the equip/floc...
The only way we can see to have a pre-defined cost centre by order type/plant is to use user-exit [IWO10027|http://pjatkin.users.btopenworld.com/documents/PMCSUserExits.pdf] (default settlement rules).

Dear All,
The settlement rule for validity period for Assets Under Construction as well as in Fixed Assets have not been supporting for the period 01.01.2008 onwards.
But the posting period for this period is open and also the plan version for the fiscal year has been activated. But I con not use the settlement rules for capital projects.

In settlement rule we can specify the duration for whcih that rule needs to be considered by mentioning the "Valid From Period & Year" and "Valid To Period & Year". In your case kindly check any restictions has been mainatined in the rule.

so, i don't know how to determine the last month, but if you know this your coding should look like this:
field-symbols: <fld> type extractstructure of Datasource (you find the extractStructure in RSA6 when ds is activated)
data: lc_tabix type sytabix.
data: budat_low type sydatum,
budat_high type sydatum.
.... here you have to determine low and high date for your period you want to select...
case i_datasource.
when '0FI_GL_40'.
loop at c_t_data assigning <fld>.
lc_tabix = sy-tabix.
if not <fld>-budat between budat_low and budat_high.
delete c_t_data index lc_tabix.
endif.
endloop.
endcase.
So somewhere you have to determine the month you want to bring to BW.
But remember - its not a good idea to select data first and then delete it in this exit. The better way would be not to select them with selection in you Infopackage.

I did not mention anything about a Email. I wrote about my subscription of creative cloud. I know it should be possible to cancel the subscription in the last month, but unfortunately it is not possible on my account. I only get a popup message that told me to contact the support. I want to either downgrade the subscription to lightroom and photoshop only, or if it has to be, to cancel it and then reopen the new one. But as I wrote I simply do not have that possibility on my account.
