Reverse colors on boot up

When I reboot my iPhone and it's coming up, the apple is black and the background screen is white. Everyone I've ever met has the opposite color scheme. Could this be an issue with malware? My Mac had a Trojan and 3 phishing banks on it last summer. And I've never felt my devices we're secure since.

See your duplicate post below.
When I reboot my iPhone the apple logo is black with a white background color scheme.

  • Is there an "instant" way to reverse color a document?

    using CS3...
I figured a printer setting would have it but not finding it. I have a black and white vectorized document that needs to be done in a reverse...everything black to be white and white to be black. Its becoming very tedious to go through and change the color to every little thing. Is there more of an instant way to tell it to reverse color everything?

In AI 12 (CS2), that filter won't invert a simple black-to-white linear gradient. (Error message basically says fuggedaboud gradients.) Don't know how it works in AI 13. Don't know whether the method in post #1 works on gradients. (Feature does not exist in AI 12.)

  • Sapscript Logo upside down with reverse color

    Hello experts,
In ECC6, my colleage and I tested a sapscript logo on the same black&white printer. However, the printouts came out differently. My laptop produced a correct logo, but my colleage's one produced an upside down logo with reverse color. This is the statement we used in the form. Do you know if we miss something to check for? Please help!

    Best regards,
    Chuong

    Hi ,
First go to se78 and check the uploaded logo in the print previw. If it is fine then instead of defining the incluide statement manually
open the window where you want to include the logo then select the path include ->Graphics then select your logo
If logo appears in the upside down then the problem is in uploading.

  • Pdf files printing in reverse color.  How do I fix?

Adobe Reader is printing all files in reverse color (black background with white text).  How do I fix this?  All other programs print fine.
    Audrey

    Hey,
Please let me know what is your Reader version.
Open Reader and go to Edit->Preferences->Accessibility and deselect 'Replace Document Colors' option.
If this does not help, then try repairing Adobe Reader and then check.
    Let me know.

  • Picture prints negative/reverse colors from preview

    Hi,
When i print a picture with preview, it prints (Epson AL-C1100) in negative/reverse colors. With all other program's i have no problems. I updated the printer software and have the latest update's from Apple. I read other post about the colormanagement in Preview but the hints there (do not use colorsync but the printers default) do not help. Can someone give me a hint?

Well, I construed "preview" to stand for Apple's Preview Application.  Not my bad this time, but yours.
Next time, please provide a lot more details when you post:

  • How reverse colors in pdf

I have a pdf with white text on a dark background.  So that it doesn't use up all of our toner, I would like to reverse the colors to black text on white background.  Can that be done in Acrobat?
If not, I have the full Design Premium 5.5 suite but don't know much about the programs other than Acrobat (and don't understand it very well).
I would deeply appreciate simple, clear directions.
Not sure which forum to submit this question to.  Apologies if this is not the right one.
    Thank you.

Try this, my screen shot is from AA9 Pro.
From the Print Dialog, choose Advanced to open the dialog shown.
(I had selected a Postscript printer; testing with a generic ink jet does not allow such.)
Choose Comp Gray and select Negative as shown.

HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One Printer - C410a

I want to convert a .PDF file from Black-&-White to White-&-Black.  A 303 page manual I need to print has black pages and white ink (ouch!).

Hmm, I found this link that has a post indicating most PDFs can be inverted using a well rounded image editing software like Photoshop or Gimp(Free). If you decide to go that route here are the steps from that0n3guy's post:
    "-Download and install gimp
-Open the pdf with gimp: File -> open ->file.pdf
An import from pdf screen will pop up. You can only import one page at a time (well.. you can do multiples, but it puts it in its own layer... ). I usually only up the resolution to about 150 or 200 pixels/inch.
    - Invert the colors: Colors -> Invert
    - Save the image as a tiff -> file -> save as
done" -- The post is somewhat dated so more functionality could have been added to handle multiple pages.
    Best of Luck!

  • Strange screen colors while booting Arch Linux (i686)

I'm trying to install Arch on an old computer via usb live,
when I start the first option "Boot Arch Linux i686" at the beginning seems to work then stops and appears:
    Arch Linux 3.17.6-1-arch (tty1)
    archiso login: root (automatic login)
at this point the pixels begin to change from black to white. until the monitor becomes completely white and black horizontal line appears at the center.
you have any idea what could be the problem?
    Thanks for  help

What??  The first post clearly said archlinux, but if this is debian, you are asking in the wrong place.  Did you just use debian because the arch iso was unusable?  Did these visual distrubances completely prevent login?
can you link me the article?
Not likely.  Is your google broken?
EDIT: in hindsight this post was more abrupt than needed for a new-comer to the forums.  Please pardon the tone - but the content was exactly as intended.  We are happy to help when it is needed, but archlinux users are expected to be able to do some of their own research.  If you really need the wiki link provided to you, you most likely would never be happy with archlinux.

  • Reverse Color Key and Track Points

In preparing for a more complex project, I've made a simple 3D scene using 3dsmax with a background and two spheres which are not visible just yet. The 3D camera then moves to view the two spheres which have a green circular area textured over each for color keying in after effects.
I then want to place two separate video clips (personal interviews) in each green area of the spheres, but I don't know how to do this. I don't want to add the video clips in 3dsmax as a texture cuz the quality would not be as good, since they would be textures.
I was thinking of having the 3d scene as the background layer in AE, and put clip1 in green area on sphere1 and use track points to track the movement of the sphere so clip1 would follow along inside sphere1's green area.
Am I on the right track with this, or can someone offer a suggestion on how to do this, as I haven't been able to get it to work?

  • Why is my display reverse colors?

Everything that should be black is white and visa versa. How do I change it back? Or is my display fried?

And you don't have to hit only those keys. If you hit a bunch of keys that includes those four it will work. You can disable the keyboard shortcut in System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access.

  • Color 'reversal' of desktop (and everything else)

While doing some data entry work, a binder fell on the left side of my keyboard and the desktop (incl menu bar, dock, everything!) suddenly changed color. The colors seem 'reversed' - blue is sort of green/brown, black type now is white, etc. The desktop wallpaper is affected the same way, too.
I tried to find a way to undo this but have been unsuccessful. If I do a 'Get Info' on the desktop, the little color chooser for Labels shows 'reversed' colors. The first box, which reads 'Red' is sort of turquoise. On the 'Appearance' System Preferences panel, the Appearance and Highlight Color settings are still at 'Blue' but the boxes show a sort of brownish color, not blue.
This only affects one account (thank heavens!) but it is pretty ugly and I want to get rid of it. Maybe if I dropped the binder randomly on the keyboard a million times, I could reverse this but I was hoping for a quicker method.
    Thanks for your help.
    David

    Wooo hooo! That's it!
The 'problem' must have been the binder pressing the 3 keys (control, option, command - all in a row on the bottom left of the keyboard) while the number '8' was being entered into the Excel spreadsheet! A weird and unlikely to be repeated 'accident'.
Colours back to normal. Many thanks.

  • Screen colors go stupid after boot. (FX5600-TD128)

I resently installed the FX5600. I previously had a Radon 7200 installed. I frist removed the ATI drivers and utilities before installing the MSI FX5600 and it's drivers. At first it worked ok. I then decided to install the E-Color utility. It then that I started having color troubles. I didn't like what E-Color did to the colors of photographs. So uninstalled E-color. Now things got worse. When the pc rebooted the colors were fine up until the icons started appearing on the desktop. The colors went to an almost random pattern. The only way to fix it was to click on the Nivida Icon in the systray go to custom color settings and click "Restore Hardware Defaults". There are no custom ones shown above this line.
So the question is. How do I fix it so the colors always boot up to the default and stay there? The driver is for some reason finding bogus color correction data and installing it at bootup.
One more thing. I went to install the InterVideo WinDVD software, (which came bundled), and no CD key was included, (which the install requires). Also the MSI Media Center Deluxe II did not install properly. There's a problem with one of the dll files and I also could not uninstall it.
I'm probably going to have to wipe the C drive and start over from scratch to remove all of the corruption. But I would like to have a short term fix for now.

did you get a disc bundled with your videocard called RestoreIT!  ?  i received this with mine, but never bothered installing it.  earlier last week, i messed a few things up on my system, and if i had put this on and had it running in the background, i could probably have saved myself.  it is very similar to the WindowsXPSystemRestore, but it has a lot more options and flexibility.  my weekend was spent re-installing Windows, and this time around, i'm gonna be smart and get it up and running for any of those "just in case" situations.
if you do decide to wipe Windows, since you know ahead of time, at least you can back up everything on your harddrive....

  • Can you reverse boot camping your device?

    Hi there,
I am thinking of dual booting my device to windows 8 for university and I would like to know if it is possible to reverse the dual boot if I am not entirely happy with it?
Can you entirely delete windows 8 off the mac or does it stay on there?
    Thanks.

Bootcamp is (at least was when I tried it) only a partitionning tool. So if you're tired of your other os, you'll be able to recover wasted space whenever you want.
If you don't need windows for hard work, you may consider virtualisation.
