Reverse EEWB changes

Fellow CRM Experts, Is there a document which describes how to revert back the changes done by EEWB?
Appreciate any links on that.

Hi Prasad,
For reversing the EEWB fields SAP doesn't have any standard procedure. Reversing a field added by EEWB is a pretty tricky thing. If everything goes fine it is well and good else it will give a pretty hard time. May be you can take the help of your basis guys to delete some of those extensions with which you are facing problem while deleting in EEWB.
Instead of using EEWB in CRM 7.0 go ahead and use AET. This has a special feature as each field gets added as a new append to the structures and tabes, you can store each field in a seperate transport. If you want to go ahead with those fields you can transport them to quality syatem.... else leave those fields in developement itself.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are after. So instead of explaining a lots of things, please take a look at the three new online demos on the [Data Modeler |http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/datamodeler/index.html] site on OTN. Once you've had a look at those, I think you can ask us again.
It sounds like you are looking for the update DDL scripts. These are created when you start to import the same schema into your updated model. On import you'll get a Merge dialog, which gives you the opportunity of Previewing the DDL. These will contain the update scripts. But before I go into more detail on that, there are some questions on that in the forum and I can write the steps, but first see if those demo are a help.

Someone is changing elements with the Dev tools on my computer how do i reverse the changes

i am new to computers you could call me technically retarded sometimes my pages are padded and sometimes they dont work at all this part or that will be missing or i will get a ridiculous redirect i really dont understand it but im reading about it in the forums
please help me it seems a touch suspicuous there are things encrypted with 256 encryption hidden photos and all kinds of other stuff

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
This isn't done via the developer tools, but more likely by an extension or security software.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Sun Web server 6.1 SP9 Reverse proxy - Changing Web Server Context

I am trying to configure a Reverse Proxy such that it can change the context of the requested URL.
My SOWS reverse proxy plug-in is running on server server1.sample.com and the destination server is running on server2.sample.com. The use case, the incoming URL is [|http://server1.sample.com/dummy1/]...... and I need to map this to {color:#0000ff}http://server2.sample.com/*dummy2*/.....;{color} It looks like the reverse proxy only maps to a server level but disregards the context. The reason I say that, in the server 2 logs I see - .... trying to GET /dummy1....; I needed the call to look for dummy2 context. Can this be done?

well, web server uri processing does not understand web application level context (in terms of java web applications). however, if you would like to map all uri's ending with /dummy1 to go to /dummy2, then you can easily do this with web server 7 regular express processing

besides web server 7 includes a very tightly integrated reverse proxy unlike 6.1 where you need reverse proxy as a separate plugin. so, you might want to check out if ws7 can serve your needs

EEWB: Change tab tittle when creating an extension type ACTIVITY_H

Hi CRM Gurus,
I am using transaction EEWB to extend the object BUSINESS_ACTIVITY. There are two extension types: CUSTOMER_H and ACTIVITY_H. Both of them create an additional tab that contains the new fields. I have two questions about this:
1.- Which differences exist between them?? When must be
    used one and when the other? Can I use both at the
    same time?
2.- With the method CRM_CUSTOMER_H_SET_TITLE of
    the Badi definition CRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI, you can
    change the tittle of the additional tab when using
    CUSTOMER_H extension type. But when you are using
    ACTIVITY_H extension type, instead
    CRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI the system triggers
    CRM_ACTIVITY_H_BADI, and that Badi doesn´t have any
    method to change the tab tittle. Anybody knows how
    to change the tittle tab in this case???
Any suggestion will be of great aid.

The difference between ACTIVITY_H and CUSTOMER_H is very simple:
CUSTOMER_H is an SAP delivered segment of the business transaction to contain CUSTOMER defined Header fields for the business transaction.
ACTIVITY_H is an SAP delivered segment of the business transaction designed to hold data specific to business transactions that have a business object type of "Activity"
It is possible to use both at the same time. The normal practice is to use CUSTOMER_H for any new customer fields.
The reason why you don't have a BADI method to change the title of the fields on the tab that corresponds to ACTIVITY_H is that the CUSTOMER_H badi is designed to help "build a tab from the ground up". In other words the ACTIVITY_H is used to help reflect new behavior in that segment, while CUSTOMER_H badi is used to define how that segment will behave.
The simple solution is to use CUSTOMER_H. I really have never seen a valid reason to enhance the other segments of the business transaction header.

Reverse or change a down payment

In order to proceed to a sales order we make a down payment request and we make then a down payment posting. The down payment request is linked with the sales order.
For some reason although we post the down payment, we finally don't make the sales due to the customer might have changed his mind.
1st how can I change the sales order that is linked to this down payment if the customer in the future makes a new sales order and we want to link the new sales order with the old posted down payment.
2nd if for some reason the sales order has been deleted, how can we reverse the down payment.

As you are telling hat you have already paid the amount.So first we have reverse that payment by using the T.Code "FBRA".
While posting the downpayment,we received a clearing document.Enter that clearing document here.
Company code and fiscal year.
Enter.Enter any reason.
Save.
After this cancel this downpayment by using the T.Code VF11/VF02.
Now you can process your sales order.

Transaction EA15- Reversal date (changing default)

In the selection screen of transaction EA15, the default value of the field ( Reversal date ) is blank.
How can I -by customizing- chang it to be the date of today.

Fist of all - There is no parameter ID for this field , so you can set the default setting through parameter ID .
Secondly , you will have to make an enhancement in place in the FM for mass document reversal , which again is not recommended .
If your requirement is just to see to it that user enters then you can try the screen varient through SHD0 .
Create a sceen varient through SHD0 and then make the reversal date as mandatory in the screen varient .
This should suffice the purpose , if the requirement is only of entering the date and not leave it as blank then use screen variend else , make the enhancements coming in to your source code in FM for mass document reversal .

When will they reverse the changes the made to the apperance in ios 7.0.2?

the new iOS has changed the aperance of everything in the iphone, I did not see any mention of that before I installed iOS 7.0.1 but had to uninstall it again as it is unsightly, now faced with not upgrading my phone till the aperance has either been changed to look good, or reversed to what it was before, but how long will I need to go without upgrades, this will prevent me getting the iphone 5s as it will no doubt come with the sikening new look interface of iOS 7

Unfortunatley I have better things to do than check the apple website, it should be in the notes on the update on the phone, but in every release that just says it fixes the bug where people can access by bypassing the locked screen.
the interface looks like it was done by a kindergarten class in the 1980s, it looks awful.

Undo EEWB changes

Hi there,
I'm currently playing around with the EEWB to get an idea about how it works. Now I'd like to undo some of the changes I made.
Is ther a proper way to do so, or do I have to delete just all generated coding that is listed in the log files of the transaction eewb?

If you haven't released the eewb projects you can modify the rpoject and remove the fields from there. With the next generation the fields should disappear. I say 'should' because the eewb does not do an excellent job in removing fields, and it could well be that you need to open an OSS message in order to get the system back to a consistent state after the deletion fo generated projects.
Deletion of the objects generated will also work, but this will delete only the extension, not the definition of the extension. So when generating the next time you will still refer to the old metainformation which will result in unwanted objects.

Reversal of Changes to Standard program HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY

Yesterday we made changes to HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY web dynpro component.
We have added one Interface method which will be called from one of the method in HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT component controller.
This change served our purpose. The purpose is to change page dynamically when there is a new page element. Now we don't want that through standard program change. We have decided to do by enhancement. We also did some enhancement before we have modified the standard program.
I have tried to reset to original through SE95 transaction code and activated. But when I go and check HAP_DOCUMENT_BOY, Method still exist.

Can anybody help on this ?

I'm not aware of any api like that. And developing a home-made api is also non-trivial.
For contingent workers, a reverse exists in the "hr_contingent_worker_api" package.

Cancelling / Reversing BOM change

Hi,
Our company is thinking about extending its use of ECM for managing changes to Bills of Material. We currently create the change master after all of the approvals are done (in an off-line, manual system). We would like to use the ECM process to manage the approvals, using workflow.
We are concerned about backing out changes. For example, if we release the BOM change for materials planning on a long lead time component, but then decide to cancel it later, how do we easily back out the change? Do we have to make a change to the change?

Yes. You have to make a change to change once ECO is released. In the next version of SAP i.e. ECC 6.0, a new functionality of 'Undo object changes' is available. For more details, see the Release Notes.

MM02--->MRP4 View Select the Plant and storage Loc there you can change the MRP Settings. It will reflect to MMSC.
