Reverse engineering a Favourite script

My workstation has recently been upgraded and I am now using CS5.5.
Before this I was using CS3 and had a number of favourite scripts to which short-cuts were assigned.
There was a particular script for a normalise process that had about three steps. I do not know what these steps are but I would like to keep applying them as they balanced out the audio levels nicely.
I can't use the scripts in CS5.5 and I don't know how to look at the script to see what the steps are so I can record them.
We do still have some machines running CS3, in case I need to use that version to do this.
Any ideas on figuring this out would be appreciated.

Unfortunately Scripting favorites in AA3 and the way favorites are stored in the latest versions of Audition are completely different. In AA 3 scripts were stored as .scp files which are basically text files that can be opened with notepad and similar text editors to read the contents. In CS 5.5 and later, where all the program has been re-coded, favorites are stored in .xml files but all settings for effects are now completely different. So it is very difficult to do what you want.
So the only way to possibly transfer any effects settings from old to new is to open them in AA3 and manually transfer the settings into the similar effect in CS 5.5. But, of course, they now may not do exactly the same thing. To do this open a file in AA3 and run your script from the shortcut key and then, without altering anything, open up the individual effects from the Effects menu and note down (or take a picture using a digital camera, mobile phone or screen capture) the settings to input into the CS 5.5 versions.
If you can locate your .scp file (usually in C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\3.0) and post them some where like Dropbox where some kind soul here may be able to take a look at it and point you in a helpful direction. As it is basically a text file you could even make a copy of it with the .txt suffix and copy and paste it here into your reply.
