Reverse mov type 603
Hi,
an article doc was posted with movt type 603 for 2 lines which were added to the delivery from STO. This need sto be reversed. I tried mb1b with mov type 316 to post to sloc in plant from the same plant as issuing plant. Could some one suggest a way to get around this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not very sure about your business scenario. I can tell you SAP standard process. If you issue goods for a stock transport order in Shipping using movement type 641, you can use 603 movement type to assign an extra item to the order. The ordered material is transferred to the stock in transit of the receiving plant. The material for the additional item is transferred from unrestricted-use stock in the issuing plant to stock in transfer in the receiving plant.
You can try 304 movement type in MB1B. Or You can try MBST to cancel 603 movement type document. If both doesn't work. You can have a work around as returns STO. IF a purchase order item is flagged as a returns item in the stock transport order, you can post the goods receipt of the returns in the issuing plant with movment type 671. You can attach reverse item also in that. Try and let me know whether it suits your requirement.

Impact on changing a reversal movement type.

If you want to create reversal /cancel movements always copy from standard movement types and create. The impact will be there according to the settings made to the new movement type for example account grouping etc. Thanking you. -

Cancel material document is used whenever you want to cancel material document refer to the original material document.
Post material document with reversal movement is used whenever you want to post a material document with reversal movement type.
In fact the journal posting in the accounting document should be the same.

Coding in SQ01 Query to eliminate reversal movement types.
Dear Friends,
I have created a report in ECC 6.00 using SQ01. Considering tables AUFK,AFIH,AUFM,BGMKOBJ. The purpose is to get the cost incurred for warranty machines in PM. The report is functioning well except for one problme which is the data from the AUFM table is displayed for reversal movment types also.
For example one order has 101,102 and again 101, in this case only one 101 line should be displayed as the previous 101 is cancelled, but system displays all the three document.
I used the field movment type in the selection screen to eliminate the 102, it was okay but two 101 documents are displayed which is wrong.
I checked in the table and the ammount field DMBTR is not having any negative values and hence system is not able to net off the difference. Moreover i thought of using the debit/credit indicator but even this doesn't solve my problem.
Experts kindly help me to achieve my requirement.
If coding can be written to achieve my requirement, kindly provide me the steps and the codes so that i will try to build the same.

I don't know these tables, but I can tell you how to not select lines. Implement the RECORD_PROCESSING event, and use CONTINUE or STOP statement to not select a line. Fields you can test have name TABLE-FIELD corresponding to tables and fields you have selected in your query output (for example, IF aufk-auart = '')
Maybe you need to know at that time the other extracted records, unfortunately the query selects only one record at a time and you won't be able to add code after the end of the SELECT because SAP uses the old "extract" (field-groups) technology, and I guess all workarounds would give aleatory result. You also have the possibility to code the join yourself ("external reading program") then you'll be able to do exactly what you want. -
How to reverse movement type 647
Hi Everyone,
Need to reverse the GI (movement type 647) posted for Intra Co STO.
Tried using MIGO or MBST. We are getting error message: m7130 (Material Document cannot be processed)
The only allowed transactions that I found in OMJJ for movement type 647 are --

I created a delivery note for a material from one plant to another using transaction VL10D as I always do, but for some reason it did a 603 mvt type instead of a 641 mvt to place the material in transit, problem is that destination plant cannot receive stock out of transit. Could you please let meknow what transaction to do to correct this?

First Goto VL02N and see what is the Item Category....
Then goto VOV5.....and Check for your Item Category....what is the Sch. Line. category has been Assigned....
Then goto VOV6....and check for your Sch.Line.Category...what is the movement type is assigned...

In my system I can see movs. 701 to 718.

In our case If user has done wrong production entry for a Particular inspection lot & it has also cleared by quality, how to reverse this i tried for removing Inspection Type Tick & do 322 movement type but as stocks are lying in quality for the material so we cannot remove the tick,It gives the error message as below

1. First reverse all the production order with movement type 521
2. then with that all your goods movement will get reversed.
3. Mass closing of production order/TECO of production order.
4. after this create fresh Production order.
5. then you do rest of the operations.

Diagnosis
This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System Response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09. -
STO Goods Issue Movement Type 641 vs 603

I created a STO for stock transfer. During the Goods Issue against delivery, the system is picking movement type 603. Is this right? I have always seen 641 for issuing goods against STO outbound delivery.
How to make system choose movement type 641 for goods issue against STO outbound delivery.

If you continue to use UL, may be u should ask your SD consultant to change the schedule line category to movt type 641 or change the existing schedule line category movt type to 641..

Using SE16 T156, I can see that 981 was copied from Z0A movement type
However this movement type no longer exists in our system - probs deleted
Would it be wise to delete movement type 981
and then re-create again copying from 601 and adding the correct reversal type ???
- Or is there another way that I can add the reversal to 981 as it currently stands ?

Below you will find a short description of the standard movement types. The reversal movement type is the movement type + 1 (reversal of 101 = 102).
101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.
Possible special stock indicators:
K Goods receipt for purchase order to consignment stock
O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
E GR for purchase order or order to sales order stock
Q GR for purchase order or order to project stock.
Goods receipt for
subcontract order: at goods receipt, the consumption of the components is posted at the same time (see movement type 543)
Goods receipt for
stock transport order: at goods receipt the transported quantity is posted in the receiving plant from stock in transit into unrestricted-use stock (stock in quality inspection or blocked stock).

This movement type cannot be entered manually.

Movement type 121 does not have a reversal movement type.

The corresponding special stock indicator is required for this movement.
If you do not use the special stock indicator, the system uses this movement type and movement type 311.
For sales order stock, you can change the material number for this movement if you manage the material in your company's own stock under a different material number (for example, for configurable materials).
Consignment stock is transferred to valuated stock, thus resulting in a vendor liability.
413 Transfer posting to sales order stock
You can use this movement type to carry out a transfer posting from your own unrestricted-use stock, other sales order stock, consignment stock, and project stock to a sales order stock.

415 Transfer posting to project stock
You can use this movement type to carry out a transfer posting from your own unrestricted-use stock, consignment stock, and other project stock to a project stock.

Part of the stock of an "empties" material assigned to a full product is managed in the stock type "tied empties".
Empties stock not assigned to a full product forms part of the stock type "unrestricted-use".
Using movement type 441, you can make a transfer posting for an empties material from the stock type "unrestricted-use" to the stock type "tied empties". Movement type 442 reverses this transaction.
Example:
The full product "beer" has a stock of 15 cases. Part of the empties components "bottle" and "case" is tied empties stock.

It plays a central role in Automatic Account determination. Together with other factors Movement types determines which stock or consumption accounts are updated in Financial Accounting.

101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.

531 Goods receipt from by-product from the order
The goods receipt of a by-product usually refers to an order, but it can be entered without a reference.
If a component is entered with a negative quantity in the order, a reservation item is created with 531 (instead of 261 ). The receipt of a by-product can be entered when the component for the order is withdrawn from stock or it can be entered as an 'other goods receipt'.

With this movement type you provide the subcontractor with the components required for subcontract orders. The quantity is posted into unrestricted-use stock of material provided to vendor.
If there is a goods receipt for a subcontract order ( 101 ) consumption of components is posted from this stock.
The transfer posting can be posted via a delivery in Shipping.

If you issue goods for a stock transport order in Shipping using movement type 641, you can use this movement type to assign an extra item to the order.
The ordered material is transferred to the stock in transit of the receiving plant. The material for the additional item is transferred from unrestricted-use stock in the issuing plant to stock in transfer in the receiving plant.
You can also use this movement type without referencing a purchase order.
