Reverse printing a window (Mirror image) in smartforms/scripts

Hi,
Is it posible to do a reverse print of a particular window(Mirror Image) in smartform/script output?
Scenario:
I have 3 windows in the smartforms.
Window1
Window2
Window3
I want to print Window1 & Window3 normally & Window2 upside down like a mirror image.
Regards,
Sree

Hi friend,
One suggestion if you are printing your company logo or some thing like that in the window2 then you can invert the image using paint and then again upload it.
Else if its some sort of text like that then you can rotate it using some functions like '^FWR' like that there are functions to rotate the text.
Or else you can handle this using or setting the printer settings but i think its not possible to change the settings for only one page.
See the Link : [Printing vertical text in Smartform|Printing vertical text in Smartform;.
In this the post by Julie LV will be helpful to you.
I think this will solve your issue if you face any queries please revert back to me i will help you.
Thanks,
Sri Hari

  • HP Photosmart Pro B8350 always prints photos in mirror image

I am having a issue with my photos always coming out with the reverse of the image.
I have checked the defalut options for the printer mirror image is not selected.
I also make sure that I do not select mirror image when going to print.
The OS I am running is XP home and it has all the updates available from Windows as far as I know.
Please help me get my images to print correct!
    It is driving me crazy!
    Thanks
    Don

    Update:
I have managed to define this problem more clearly.  This is very reproducible, not random.  My system:  HP B8850 printer on Windows XP-Pro, USB.  There is a drastic color failure under certain settings.  I first noticed this when printing a photo of a brilliant pink flower - the flower prints as white, slightly yellow, with no pink at all.  I can produce this result consistently under these conditions:  1) 4x6 or 5x7 paper sizes (I have not tried all possible sizes.)  2) under Photoshop CS3, setting color to be managed by CS3.  3) In the printer preferences dialog, choosing paper type HP Advanced Photo Glossy, or HP Pro Satin (I have not tried all the paper types.)
Printing 8.5x11 or larger: No Problem.  Let the printer manage color: No Problem.  Choose Fiber Gloss, or Other Photo Paper: No Problem.
My workaround for now is to have CS3 manage the color, selecting the ICC profile of the paper I'm using, but in the printer preferences dialog, choose Other Photo Paper.  This produces slightly inferior color rendition, but I am not as demanding in 4x6 prints as I am in large prints for wall display.  Nevertheless, I would like see this issue fixed in a driver update ASAP.

  • How to reverse photos? photo booth needs reversing, it is a mirror image.

The photobooth pictures are mirror images.  Most photo/picture software offers a "reverse image" as well as "rotate" choices, but I cannot find a way to do this in iphoto or photobooth.  Is it possible?

This is what we are asking for in iPhoto, not flipping, MIRRORING!!!
This was done in Microsoft Photo Editor. Thanks. The click photo while holding down contorl is supposed to give one the mirror option in iPhoto, although,... I can't get it to work.
It should not be this complicated,...come on Apple!!!

  • Officejet 8600, Reverse Print Order, Windows 7

I am running windows 7-64 bit, I cannot find any option to print in reverse order. I want to print the last page 1st and the 1st page last, so there in order after printing.......under Printer Preferences or Printer Properties, I've tried opening all the options, and don’t see anything about Reverse Print Order

Hi max3, What is the application program you are attempting to print from? The Page order is not listed under the Presets it is below the preset option. Refer to screenshots below.

  • Everything is printing in mirror image

I cannot print a picture without getting a mirror image

I have this SAME issue: ANY pdf printed from Adobe Reader 9.x prints as a mirror image!!! This is NOT a printer driver problem.
Information: I have 4 computers on a network and a network printer supporting them (HP Officejet L7680). I had Adobe Reader v8.x on all 4 machines - 3 Windows XP, 1 Vista64. All printing/viewing was normal.
I decided to upgrade my Vista64 machine to Adobe 9.x (currently v9.2). That was a mistake. Now, every pdf printed from that machine prints as a mirror image of the pdf. I do not see any kind of printer option under Adobe or my printer to print as a mirror image.
So, 3 Windows XP machines with Adobe 8.x print fine; 1 Vista64 machine with Adobe 8.x printed fine; 1 Vista64 machine upgraded to Adobe 9.x does NOT print correctly.
This problem has cropped up with enough frequency that there is some sort of Adobe 9.x problem. A quick internet search will show the extent of this issue.

  • Printing Mirror Image with 9.x

I have an issue which others have also reported: ANY pdf printed from Adobe Reader 9.x prints as a mirror image!!! This is NOT a printer driver problem.

Any solutions? (Otherwise, my thoughts are to delete 9.x and find 8.x.)
    Ken

Update: 9.x is STILL broken. I have deleted 9.x and downgraded back to 8.x. Using 8.x all the printing is normal.
Since this mirror image printing issue is NOT isolated to a single user, but rather, based on the number of complaints about mirror image printing found on the internet, a prevalant problem, how about ADDRESSING it?

  • When printing online grocery coupons they print "mirror image".

    HP L7680 printer
    Vista SP2
    IE8
When I print grocery coupons from online sources (for example coupons.com) they print in "mirror image" mode.  Everything else prints OK.  I have looked the Printer Preferences and Mirror Image is turned off.  Anyone have a fix for this?  Thanks.

    Hi,
    Please use the following instruction:
       http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=bpu02032&lc=en&product=61561
Other option: using other tool(s) to flip the image BEFORE print. If images/photos, you can flip before hand:

  • How to reverse print (not duplex print) on Deskjet 6500 E71n?

I am making t-shirt transfers. I need to reverse print, sometimes called mirror print, so that when the design is ironed on to a t-shirt it isn't reversed?

What operating system? For Windows 7 there is a Mirror Image checkbox in the Finishing tab.

  • How do I print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

How do I  print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

I have spent hours figuring out how to print a t-shirt transfer since my new HP printer doesn't seem to allow for mirror image printing (yet my old HP printer easily let me select this feature).   Here's what worked for me, using Word 2010:
Create the text and insert any images  into the document as you normally would.
Go to Insert / WordArt and chose a style of lettering (I don’t think it matters what you choose since you will be cutting and pasting the data from 1 above).   A text box will appear and a new "double-decker" tab will appear at the right (Drawing Tools on top and Format below).
Copy what you created in step 1 and paste it into the text box.
Click on the Format tab (the cursor must be inside the text box for the Format tab to be visible).
Choose Text Effects / 3-D Options and then 3-D Rotation Options.  A dialogue box will open.  For the X value, enter 180.  Do not enter anything for the other values.  Your image should have rotated to mirror image.
Click Close and save your document.
You should now be able to print your document as usual.
    Good luck!

  • I am trying to print a T shirt transfer sheet and am attempting to do a "mirror image"

I am attempting to make a personalized T shirt. I need to print on a transfer sheet  a mirror image.  I went under preferences and changed to t shirt transer but when I print it comes out normal. Not reversed as it should so when I iron the transfer paper on to the T shirt the writing will be correct.

    ccintI:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. There's no way to get a mirror image for printing in iPhoto 6 except when the photo is in a book. You can, however, use Seashore, a freeware image editor, as the editor of choice in iPhoto and it can flip the photo vertically to get you the mirror image. You can set it up to use from within iPhoto as follows:
Using 2 Image Editors in iPhoto
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and a 3rd party editor without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected the 3rd party editor as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General preferences under the Edit photo menu, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". Then when you Control-click on an image, you can select "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu to edit in your selected editor.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • How do I print a mirror image?  Where did the old functionality go?

Within the last several months I was able to print a mirror image of my document to my HP DeskJet F4180 in high resolution. I don't know if it is the new HP drivers, or my new Snow Leopard OS but now I can' figure out how to do it again. I can grab a screen shot in and flip it in Preview but it ends up printing in low resolution.
I have printed mirror images in the past from my PDF applciations and I think from Office 2008 (PowerPoint). I find no documents saved on my hard drive that come up saved as a reverse image so I suspect that I was using a printer feature not an application feature to print mirror images.
    Where did this functionality go?

    Found it!
Use the check box marked Flip Image. Didn't is say mirror before?

  • How to print a mirror image using powerpoint from my macbook to hp printer

I am making t-shirts and I can't get this image to reverse (print out as a mirror image, which I need for the photo transfer paper to work I can reverse part of the image using the rotation tool for "flip horizontal", but for some reason it doesn't work on all of it. Also, I'm using a macbook and when I go to print, under "paper tray/quality" I can actually see a box to check for mirror image, but it is in grey scale, so I can't select it.

    Hi,
Do you have any other applications installed ... like Adobe Illustrator, Photo Shop ...
Also, you can open the image in VIEW and rotating the image as you like.
