Reverse replication not implemented for action:

Hi, we see a persistent error reported in our replication log:
Reverse replication not implemented for action: TEST. Remote outbox path: /var/replication/outbox/1338320761214
The node mentioned has cq:repActionType = TEST.
The consequence is that this aborts the replication of nodes in the publisher node and our author and publisher seem out of sync because of that. Is this something anyone has come across before. How to prevent this?
If I delete that node in the outbox it seems to resolve the issue, but I'd like to know what caused it to appear in the first place to make sure we don't end up seeing this issue in our production environment.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't remember exactly when the TEST nodes are created but they are only when some tests are run.
When it happened to me I had to delete once and then it never happened.

Reverser Replication not working for 2 Publish Instance

We have setup environment for 1 author and 2 Publish servers. Configured replication agent and reverse replication agent for both Publish Instances. For custom created comments (Java code from external Portal to create comment node) then reverse replication does not replicate comment on Author Instance. But when I post comment for campaign through CQ publish environment then it works properly. It gets replicated on Author Instance. So can anyone let me know what could be missing part for comments generated through custom java script.

Hi Sham,
In one of environment we are using publish and author server. Custom comments are replicating on Author environment. We are not using custom workflow or JCR observation.Created one more environment for Production setup where 2 publish and 1 author instance. For this comment are not auto replicated on Author instance.
Default comment modification and comment activation launcher are in place, no change in this. Does it not working due to additional Publish Instance and if so what additional setting will required to address it ?

I am getting the below error while activating the sap Fiori applications
Task Facade not implemented for provider. [/IWBEP/CX_MGW_TECH_EXCEPTION] (error).
I have applied all suggestions in my new fiori system from Masayuki Sekihara posted on his post.
but still I am getting same error message.
I got below error message.
1) If I selected a EC6FIORI system alias to ZTASKPROCESSING services then i got below error message.

2) some time I got different error message if I selected FIORI system alias to ZTASKPROCESSING.

Hello I'm having some troubles dealing with 'java.sql.Date' I'm working with express edition database and I have three classes(different packages)

I need to get an arraylist of objects, some of which contain dates, but when try to do it I get this exception
"java.sql.SQLException: Invalid column type: getDate not implemented for class oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CNumberAccessor"
Do you have any idea how I can implement the getDate method for this T4CNumberAccessor

Found the answer, I shouldn't use integers as parameters of column index in the result set, but instead use String to mark the fields :)

My Inbox - Task Facade not implemented for provider

Hi Fiori experts,
I have done the steps necessary to configure the "My Inbox" app.
1) Assign the service to the Backend
2) Activate the app in sicf
3) Assign the role catalog
4) Create the group and add the My Inbox app
But the thing is that I am getting the following error with the service:

Thank you for your help.
My system alias was incorrect.
I correct it and assign the software version /IWPGW/BWF.
Note: I am working on an embedded environment.
But now I am getting another error: "Data provider implmentation 'ZTM_TGW_SVC_MODEL_0002_BE" does not exist
I have checked this table, ans saw that the Default checkbox is not set for the ZTASKPROCESSING OData service.
Is this necessary?
Can be the issue related with the version of the components I have installed in the system:

Method "equals" not implemented for class "Pan1" -- this is the error I'm getting while running one static Analyzer. Can anybody say, what is this error , and how to rectify it ?

The static analyzer may have noticed that either you may invoke .equals() on instances of this class (possibly through polymorphism) and you have not implemented the method in your class. This is most likely a warning since many times lack of an implemented .equals() method in such cicumstances will lead to Object.equals() being executed and that simply checks to see if the object references are the same - quite a bit stronger than what one would probably expect from .equals();
it is also possible that you did implement an equals() method but that you used the wrong argument type. This is a common mistake:

Arc is not implemented for SQL Server 2005 physical model

I added the Arc in my relational model, which is supposed to provide that references are mutually exclusive (so only one refering column can be not null). However there is not any implementation for this in the SQL Server 2005 physical model. The SQL code generated simply ignores the Arc and allows any values for the columns covered by Arc. If we check Oracle physical model. then it generates some trigger, which controls how many columns have values assigned - this is actually an implementation of Arc. But there is nothing of this kind for SQL Server model...
By the way, implementing this Arc by trigger looks like to heavy approach. The very simple table level check constraint will do the same job. But this is a different subject though.

Finder tags not implemented for files on Airport Disk?

has anyone had success with the Finder tag implementation for files on Airport disk (hard drives connected to Airport Extreme Base Station)? I can tag files but they won't be discovered with Spotlight searches in the Finder.

Exactly the same issue.
I can tag files/folders on the Airport disk, but what's the point in that if they never show up when clicking on a tag in the finder sidebar?

WAN replication not working for objects

I am trying out the WAN replication example from the Tangosol website. I got the Boston-London example working. However, it seems to only work for simple types like String, int, etc. Objects like hibernate, compressed string are not replicated across. Is more config added for this to work?

In one of environment we are using publish and author server. Custom comments are replicating on Author environment. We are not using custom workflow or JCR observation.Created one more environment for Production setup where 2 publish and 1 author instance. For this comment are not auto replicated on Author instance.
Default comment modification and comment activation launcher are in place, no change in this. Does it not working due to additional Publish Instance and if so what additional setting will required to address it ?

Quicktime Player fast-forward and reverse buttons not working for audio

I have Quicktime Player 7.7.3 for Windows and the fast forward/reverse buttons will not work while playing audio files. I've tried it with mp3 and m4a, neither will work.
The go to end/go to begining buttons are working fine.
The ff/reverse button don't work very well for video files, they only will move a few frames at a time, but they will not work at all on strictly audio files.
I've looked at the preferences, and the software is up to date.
the only way to ff/reverse is to go to Window > Show A/V Controls and use the Jog Shuttle, but that is a clumsy workaround. I'd rather have the playback buttons work properly in the first place.
Is there something else I should be doing (aside from purchasing QT Pro, that is)?

Shut iTunes down.
Go to ~/your user name/Library/Preferences and place the file "com.apple.iTunes.plist" in the trash.
Try iTunes again. If your problem is solved, empty the trash.

BP replication not happening for a particular sales area.

The BP's created for one particular sales area are not getting replicated into CRM, though before sometime it was happening.
The BP with the "general data", and "role of sold to party" only flows but not with the sales area. There is no BDoc error in the SMW01 either. While displaying BP for the role of sold to party, it shows "Sold-to-party(maintained)" but the sales area entries though maintained for this sales area in the ECC, do not flow to the CRM.
However for other sales areas it flows.
Where should I look to resolve this situation. All entries in PPOMA etc are rightly made and untouched.

1. Create a BP in CRM (with the sold-to party role) with the required Sales area and see if this customer when replicated to ECC has the relevant Sales Area. Ideally it should get replicated if all you middleware settings are fine.
2. See you have not set a filter for a specific Sales Area and becuase of that BP is getting replicate but not the sales area.

Reverse SSH not working for Cisco 3750.Plz help.

I have configured the reverse ssh mentioned on the cisco document:http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t11/feature/guide/gt_rssh.html#wp1051457.
But now I am running into the issue that When I issue command ssh -l alex:rotary1 192.38.6.8 from the cli of the router I’m presented with a password prompt.
I enter my password and get connected. However at this point when I type, for example, the atdt command I don’t see any output displayed.
So I tried typing command atdt <tel no.> and at the same time ran a debug modem on a separate session. It was from the separate session I could see the call been made to the remote device and connected successfully. However almost immediately the modem debug displays message 0236596: Dec 7 2010 12:18:18.236 GMT: TTY69: cleanup pending. Delaying DTR. At no point do I see output displayed on the session where I connected to the modem.
When using telnet to connect, i.e using the same modem and the same remote device, we have had no problems it is just with SSH.
Any suggestion on this will be highly appriciated.

I use the 30DM(Digital Modem) Card on the router. I have configured on of this modem on the PRI card(1/18) to make outbound calls. We use this dailup to cyclades the devices located on our remote office. Hence we loose the main internet connectivity we use this option as a backup.

Looking at your trace, I assume you're trying to access ROWID or something like that, which is NOT Integer. If it is just ROWID, you should probably get it as string, if it just some NUMBER, you may try to access it as Long or BigDecimal instead. Or, if nothing helps, try to get this field valus as string also.

It means that the Derby version you are using doesn't support moveToInsertRow();
You will either need to code it differently, use a Derby version that supports it, or use a different database product.
The Derby documentation suggests that the feature is not available in version 10.1, the latest official release. The feature has been implemented in the Derby codebase, and is in the 10.2.0.3 alpha snapshot, which they warn is not suitable for production usage, and you may not want to use until an official 10.2 release is made.

Sadly it's not available until 4.5B, and only then as an add-on.
Back in the bad-old-days a note had to be applied manually by a developer, following the instructions in the note, looking at the context code around the changes and trying to type everything in without making mistakes.
And you have to check for dependencies as well.
