Reversing a sequence all shots at a time

I recently made an animation with an slr and have imported the stills, but it needs to run backwards. Aside from exporting it then putting it back in is there a way to reverse the entire thing?

Hi -
Yes. Make a copy of your sequence.On that copy, select all the clips on your timeline and type Option-C. You will be asked if you want to nest these items, click yes. This will create a nest of the frames, turning them into one virtual clip. You can then contol click on that nest and select Change Speed . . . from the drop down menu. Click the reverse button and the sequence of stills should now play in reverse. You may need to render.
But if it were me, I would just export a quicktime of the original sequence, and then import that quicktime, place it on the timeline and make it run in reverse as outlined above.

Thank you so much for the response. This half sorts out my issue, as turning off Musicmatch means I can load music onto my iPad, but the minute I turn it back on to access my library whilst travelling I will lose what I have loaded as it comes up saying " all music will be erased".
I really apprecaite your time, so will just have to live with what I load. Seems weird that Apple wouldn't consider people want to listen to music on planes or in Non - wifi zones??

LR 3 Collections into LR 4 -- should I re-edit all shots using PV 2012

I Updated to LR4 which of course picked up all of my LR3 Collections, about 5,000 pictures spread around in 20 Collections in one Catalogue and brough them into LR4. I have spent a year developing all of those shots and learning the ropes. I saw that the old LR3 sliders were still present, which I guess means that LR4 was still using the LR3 PV2010 engine until you tell it to switch to the new PV2012. I tested that on a few shots (without changing the whole collection) and noticed that the changes were fairly dramatic, which means I will have to re-edit them all if I update them into the new, better and more powerful sliders in the new development engine. I want to do that, but it could take ages to re-develop and optimize all of those (around 5000) shots. How do you think I should handle this? Just leave them how they are (PV2010 and the old sliders) and just use PV2012 on newly imported RAWs or start slowly updating them all as I have time? What are the pro's doing to their LR3 old collections? They are probably leaving them alone and just using PV2012 on new shots, or if they have to print fine-tune an old shot for printing, they would probably re-develop it using the new sliders in PV2012. What should I do? I can't just update all collections into PV2012 automatically because they look bad across the board. They have to be re-developed don't they?

You really need to test this for yourself. I would NOT to a mass update to PV 2012. If you have an image optimally adjusted in PV 2010, there's nothing wrong with leaving them untouched...that's why the LR engineers went to the trouble of leaving in the PV 2010 and not forcing an update.
The change from PV 2003 to 2010 were mostly image sharpening and noise reduction. It left most images looking the same unless you inspected at a higher zoom. With PV 2012, the rethinking of the Basic controls was substantial. Depending on what controls you used a lot of in PV 2010 (lots of highlight recover or fill light come to mind) you may never get an exact match in PV 2012. That's why it's still there. If you have invested a lot of time tweaking images in PV 2010, I would be very careful and cautious before upgrading. For new images, PV 2012 will be default.
So, I would ease into the adoption of PV 2012. Nothing wrong with deciding you've already got the best out of your images...

Encoding just a part of a long sequence - ALL audio clips are processed ?!?

I have a 60 minutes sequence - among other stuff, it has about 30 audio clips.
When I define my work area to be - let's say 45 secs and _Export_Media to AME, all audio clips from the source sequence are processed, what is time-consuming and boring.

First use JPanel not Panel.
Panel panels[]=new Panel[4];becomes
JPanel panels[]=new JPanel[4];Then refactor your code so that you use arrays correctly:

How to download 'all photos at a time' from shared stream?

I have a photo stream shared album (with 120 pictures) on icloud. This is shared from iPhone. I opened the link on my mac/windows in the browser. Now, how to download 'all photos at a time' from shared stream? I don't want to download each photo at a time. There are 100s of photos to download. I can't open one photo at a time and keep downloading them separately. There should be a way to download all photos from a shared stream. Please let me know how you are dealing with this?

I've had a new hard drive installed and reloaded all my stuff via time capsule and now can't connect to the internet although it say Airport is connected. How can I fix this problem ?

Well if you got the Phone Pggray43 at a Local Corporate store in your Area) you should be able to return it as long as you have all the contents.! Phone, Charger and any other accessories that came with it the Box of Course.. As long as you have not went past the 14 Day return.. the store can go over what you used as in Air Time and Data..
