Reversing Post Processed Docs

Dear Colleagues,
How can I reverse the material documents after it has been post processed (in MF47) ? Is a doc-neutral reversal the only way? Can't I reverse that specific document?
Thanks,
John

I think no. as the material document and accouning document generated will be different during post processing and in MFBF. Some of the component are posted during MFBF some did not due to let us say less stock, then the generated documents will be seperate
I hope it is not possible.

    Hi,
There are 2 ways to solve the problem.
    1. Clear the backflush error using MF47 and reverse both the docs.
    2. Do the material document reversal and delete the post processing error in MF47 because the error there is MF47 is actually not posted and is under reserve for that Header material. This option is only good for testing but not in actual production scenario.

    Steps that we tried:
    1. Increased the OPP process to 16
    2. Increased Concurrent:OPP Response Timeout to 750
    3. There is no issue in manager log file.
    4. Concurrent Requests Fail Due to Output Post Processing (OPP) Timeout (Doc ID 352518.1)

  • Request for Reverse Posting

    Hi,
Request for Reverse Posting - can anyone explain me this in detail with example.
    Regards,RAMU.

    Hi Ramu,
In an Infocube we can delete data in three ways,
    1) Entire Data deletion
    2) Selective data deletion
    3) Deletion based on request ID.
After compression of Infocube, request ids become zero and data gets aggregated and moves from F fact table to E fact table, so we can delete data only in two ways
    1) Entire Data deletion
    2) Selective data deletion.
But if it is required  to delete data in Infocube after compression based on Request Id, we can go for Reverse Posting. We can reverse post the data only when we process the data through PSA.
If u  reverse post the data for a compressed request, the data for the compressed request is taken from PSA multiplying with
-1 for the key figure values and loaded into the data target. Now the data in the data target  is available in F table with negative key figure values. By Compression of Info Cube, data moves from F table to E table and nullifies the data in Infocube for the request ID.
Note: Since records with zero key fig values are of no use, to delete these records while compression check mark  zero elimination option in collapse tab.
    Hope It helps u
    Cheers....
    Sk Babu

  • Doc reversed, Clear FI doc manually_MR8M

    Dear All,
I have posted the invoice to diff vendor, So i cancelled the inv in mr8m & when i saved the doc its giving the mas as ** doc reversed, clear FI doc manually** What exactly it means ? Now again i need to post the invoice to diff vendor, Pls let me know before posting the inv again, what i need to do ?
    regds,
    CB

    Hi
When you have posted a document accounting document would have got created and when you cancelled the document reversal entry would have got created. Although the vendor balance will be zero there will be two line items in the vendor account one debit and one credit. You need to select both the items and clear through transaction code F-44. It will not stop you from proceeding with posting of another invoice document.
    Regards,

  • BSEG- Reverse posting prob

    Hi All
I have developped the Budgeting report, for this I fetched the
materials and Quandity for a saleoreder doc.
Now If I transfer some qty to one saleorder to another or I retun
back, New sale order gets updated but the old one remainds same
value. How can I get this reverse posting info
    Thanks in Ad.
    Regds,
    Bala S

    Hi Raghavendra,
Documents posted in R/3 can be reversed using reverse posting.
For eg: Good receipt-Material doc posted with movement type 101 updates the stock, generates accouting entries debiting inventory account.
The same document if revered will be posted by movement type say 102 and the stock is reduced by that amount also generating reverse accounting entries crediting the inventory account.
This means even reverse posting are documented in the system and not just undone or deleted.
In BW reporting this is taken care or handled as per the application and type of report.
When the data is loaded to BW Infocube and then it is compresed then u can't delete the data pertaining to this request in the cube. For this what u can do is if the request is loaded via PSA then u can click on the Request Reverse Posting option on the MOnitor screen of the particular Request. This will reverse the sign of the keyfigures loaded into the InfoCube for that particular request only, so that it will make overall keyfigyure value in the cube for this particular request to 0.
    Hope this helps

  • Request Reverse posting

    Hi Friends,
I would like to know the functionality of Request Reverse posting which is available in Monitor tab.
How is it use ful for us? whats the the significance of Request Reverse posting?
    Thanks in advacne,
    Chandu.

    Hi,
Documents posted in R/3 can be reversed using reverse posting.
    Assign points if it helps.
    Cheers,
    Malli.

  • Best way to stream lots of data to file and post process it

    Hello,
I am trying to do something that seems like it should be quite simple but am having some difficulty figuring out how to do it.  I am running a test that has over 100 channels of mixed sensor data.  The test will run for several days or longer at a time and I need to log/stream data at about 4Hz while the test is running.  The data I need to log is a mixture of different data types that include a time stamp, several integer values (both 32 and 64 bit), and a lot of floating point values.  I would like to write the data to file in a very compressed format because the test is scheduled to run for over a year (stopping every few days) and the data files can get quite large.  I currently have a solution that simply bundles all the date into a cluster then writes/streams the cluster to a binary file as the test runs.  This approach works fine but involves some post processing to convert the data into a format, typically a text file, that can be worked with in programs like Excel or DIAdem.   After the files are converted into a text file they are, no surprise, a lot larger than (about 3 times) the original binary file size.
I am considering several options to improve my current process.  The first option is writing the data directly to a tdms file which would allow me to quicly import the data into DIAdem (or Excel with a plugin) for processing/visualization.   The challenge I am having (note, this is my first experience working with tdms files and I have a lot to learn) is that I can not find a simple way to write/stream all the different data types into one tdms file and keep each scan of data (containing different data types) tied to one time stamp.  Each time I write data to file, I would like the write to contain a time stamp in column 1, integer values in columns 2 through 5, and floating point values in the remaining columns (about 90 of them).  Yes, I know there are no columns in binary files but this is how I would like the data to appear when I import it into DIAdem or Excel.
The other option I am considering is just writing a custom data plugin for DIAdem that would allow me to import the binary files that I am currently creating directly into DIAdem.  If someone could provide me with some suggestions as to what option would be the best I would appreciate it.  Or, if there is a better option that I have not mentioned feel free to recommend it.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,
Here is a simple example, of course here I only create one value per iteration in the while loop for simplicity. You can also set properties of the file which can be useful, and set up different channels.
Beside, you can use multiple groups to have more flexibility in data storage. You can think of channels like columns, and groups as sheets in Excel, so you see this way your data when you import the tdms file into Excel.
I hope it helps, of course there are much more advanced features with TDMS files, read the help docs!

  • Post Processing in CIF

    Hi,
We have a reqmnt to update an document on R/3, source - APO, with a parameter passed in the CIF. The SAP BAPI is not populating the field, so the fallback option is for us to update the doc manually.
Is anyone aware of any post processing exits, provided in the CIF, which we make use of.
    TIA
    Regards,
    Pramod

    Hi,
Check in /SAPAPO/C2 whether Post Processing is active or not.
For CIF error handling to be active ,setting to be defined under error handling coloumn is
Post Processing, No splitting of LUW .
If Strict is defined CIF error handling is not active.( Standard setting )
This setting applies for the data transfer for APO to R3 and R3 to APO.
    Thanks,

  • Post -Processing in repetative manufacturing

    Hi
Currently we are facing problem with reversal posting in repetitive manufacturing MFBF
    1. We want to change the quantity posted in the components and activities how it will be done.
    2. We are trying to post using MB1A with M.Type 261 and order defined in Product Cost Collector but We are getting message that Order  can not be processed
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance
    Rushi

    Dear Joshi,
You can use T Code MF41 for document specific reversal.
In this case whatever that's prsent in the document gets reversed.
For Eg,If the document contains 261,131 and activities means, then for this document 262,132 and the
    activities gets reversed.
and if a document contains only 131 movement for 10 quantity, then for this 132 will be happening..
If you want to carryout document neutral reversal, then you have to use MFBF only.
you cannot use MB1A,the product cost collector number for carrying out GI.
This order number will be used for variance calculation and settlement process.
Now come back with your further queries.

  • Facing issue in Bulk Load Post Process in case of blank fields in csv file

    Hi,
I ran command line bulk utility to create users in OIM through CSV file. I left few columns as blank which were not mandatory. After executing the bulk utility, user got successfully created in OIM but after that when i ran "Bulk Load Post Process" for LDAP sync then it changed the user's organisation to default organisation "Xellerate User" which is a major issue. It is happening only when i am leaving some column blank. Any idea why it is happening and how to resolve this problem? Need some urgent help!!

    Hi ,
Thanks for your reply, the issue was we can not use DOD=Y due to the dependency of the Standard Version where other program fetches data from the same XML structure,
Any way we resolved this issue by re doing below post installation steps. And used a new schema with updated DTD and point that with the same logical schema.
    1) Created a new schema for XML external database
    2) Change the DTD file, keep it in the same location
    3) Change properties file with new schema name
    4) Test with the new schema for XML connection
    5) Reverse engineer the BaseModel ITEMBRANCH only (Where we added additional XML Tags)
    6) Bounce back ODI agent and Client
    Thanks,

  • CE 71 Productive Edition SR5 post processing

What is the procedure for post processing CE71 prod edition? Do I just run the config wizard only or do I need to run the prod or dev template.
    Thanks
    Mikie

    Hi,
    See Post Installation section:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80653293-da1c-2b10-3687-918d6323b728
Normally, you run the DEV, then run wizard. But the above document says the correct steps.
    Best regards
