Reverting to version 1.0

Well I gave Lightroom 1.1 a pretty fair shot, and I do like the new features. But the image quality at ISO 800 and above is just unacceptable to me. I like my photos to look like photographs, not posterized watercolor paintings. The aggressive noise reduction needs to die with the next version of Lightroom.

This should be possible. When you open the specific file in jdev and then select the history tab you should see all versions of file.
Now you right click the version you want to restore and select 'Restore from Revision' and you have the selected revision of the file back.

  • Safari 5.1 has mysteriously reverted to version 5.0.5!

I downloaded and installed the Safari 5.1 update as soon as it showed up in Software Update. I really like the new Reading List feature, so there is no chance that I wasn't using Safari 5.1. This morning, I opened Safari to find the Reading List icon (reading glasses) missing from the Bookmarks Bar. When I checked the  version number, I saw that Safari had mysteriously reverted to version 5.0.5!
How is this possible? I feel like I've wandered into the Twilight Zone! Any comments on what could have happened?

My only other boot volume is an external firewire drive I've been using to test OS X Lion. There's no chance at all that I accidentally upgraded that volume instead. Here's the proof:
When I reinstalled Safari 5.1, the Reading List contained the articles that were there before Safari reverted to version 5.0.5. If Safari 5.1 were being installed for the first time, the Reading List would be empty, as it was when I originally updated Safari (the day the 5.1 update came out).
I'm stumped. Thanks for your input!

  • Revert to version 5.1

I was told by my service provider that they had changed a "switch" in my community and that was the reason their modem can't talk to my airport.
The fix is to revert to version 5.1 on my firmware.
I have no idea how to do that and I can't find a version 5.1 to download (so that I can upload to my airport)
    Help

You can't downgrade an Airport Extreme base station to a firmware below the firmware it was originally supplied with.
Airport 5.1 is now no longer available from the Apple website.

  • I have iphone 4 with iOS4.0, how to revert back version of facebook app?

I have iphone 4 with iOS4.0, how to revert back version of facebook app version because i am not able to use facebook 5.0 in my iphone?

That depends. If the phone was unlocked by the carrier, then it should be fine.
If your phone was unlocked by unauthorized means, then yes, it will be locked again.

  • Apple sanctioned, official method to revert iOS version?

    Hello!
Since installing iOS 6 on my iPod 4G my battery life has gone down drastically. Instead of having 35-45% left of full charge after a nights radio listening (approx 7-8h using Wi-Fi at location), my device is drained.
I ve been trying to revert back to 5.1.1 using the method described here, but iTunes throws a 3194 error message, leaving me high and dry. So, I'm coming here hoping to find some answers from people more knowledgeable about these things than me and hopefully, even a solution to my problem.
I do have my suspicions though, that it might not be possible at all.
    Sincerely,
    Jango

All we can say in this Apple forum is that downgrading the IOS is not supported by Apple after then stopped signed the previous iOS version. Apple stopped signing iOS 5.1.1 about two days after iOS 6 was released. That is why you are get that error message.

  • Version 23.0 on Windows 7 64 bit has major memory leak issues, how do I fix or revert to version 22?

Upon updating to version 23.0.1, the memory usage on Firefox routinely runs over 1GB and eventually causes me to restart the application. This is directly linked to an upgrade in August to version 23.0.1, I would like to either downgrade or fix the problem with 23. IF this is an issue with plug-ins, how do I determine that? My problem is that this only started occurring after I installed version 23, so I have to assume it was caused by that and not by some plug in as those have not changed.
Was the application regression tested against all plug-ins to ensure these issues did not occur?

    Hello,
The first thing I suggest is updating your Firefox to v24 (the latest version). Every new version of Firefox brings bug fixes and security updates. It maybe that whatever is causing high RAM usage will be solved by the update.
[[Update Firefox to the latest version]]
If you find that the problem is still occurring in v24 then please see the support article here:
[[Firefox uses too much memory (RAM) - How to fix]]
This has various tips on diagnosing and fixing high RAM usage issues.
I particularly suggest that you try:
    * Updating plugins
    * Checking your extensions and themes to see if any of these are to blame
    * Trying the memory troubleshooting tools (about:memory)
I hope that helps. Let me know if not.

  • I installed Firefox 8 today and it has wreaked havoc on my mac running 10.6.8. Is there a way to revert back version 7?

The fact that it is 8.0.1 tells me that this version is probably not sorted out yet. My experience is proof. I've been using Firefox for years and would like to make it work.

    As you have discovered... No.

  • How do I revert to version 18 from version 19?

Firefox Version 19 does not support Norton Toolbar, which I use heavily. I missed this and let Firefox update to V19. Now I want to get back to where I was.

What version of NTB do you have? Mine is 2013.2.4.2 and it refuses to go higher. Liveupdate says it's the latest and will not upgrade.

  • I am trying to revert my Java to 1.6 from 1.7. The System Preferences Java icon is disabled. But when I enter java -version in terminal it shows 1.6.0_65.  Please help me in giving explicit commands to get back my Java 1.6

I earlier had a java 1.7 installed in my system.  I wanted to revert the version back to 1.6.  I downloaded the file JavaForOSX2014-001.dmg and installed it in my hard disk.  I am not sure where it has installed it but it has successfully done it.  When I open up the terminal and enter java -version it shows 1.6.0_65 version as the java version.
But in the System Preferences, Java is disabled and does not show the java as being installed.  Please guide me in getting my java 1.6 back.

The preferences pain shows this message when I click on the Java icon -- “Java can’t be opened because it isn’t available".

  • Reverting to older version

Hello, I just used software update to update Garageband to version 4.1.2. Now, it is causing all sorts of problems. Is there a way to revert to version 4.1.1 or 4.1?

    Hi nick-s;
If you are using Time Machine, you can fall back to before the update.

  • Reverting to software version 1.2.1 on Mac OS X

I already made a thread about the ipod problems I've been having after downloading 1.2.2 and now I see it's been happening to a lot of people. But all the directions I've seen have been for windows and I don't have time to comb through pages and pages of discussions to find how to do it on my iBook. Could someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE link me to the directions for how to restore my ipod to version 1.2.1 on Mac OS X???????

Just restore the iPod in the usual way. Version 1.2.2. has been removed so it will revert to version 1.2.1.
After that, reload the music from your iTunes library.

  • Reverting to an older version in OBIEE MUD

    Hey people,
I have a problem which may sound stupid, but I really haven't found a solution yet...
I've set up a multi user development environment for about 3 people who need to work on the repository simultaneously. The other day, one of them checked in some stuff which messed up the repository, so now we simply need to revert back to the previous version.
I've been trying to do this since yesterday. All I could find was the history button that shows the version tracking and the diffs, and I found out how to make myself an admin and be able to delete versions, but it only lets me delete the oldest versions and not the new ones... I also tried checking out the repositroy and replacing it locally with the good version, but when I try the check it in it keeps complaining about presentation tables and other stuff not being in the project, and when I try to edit the project I can't see the old presentation tables (the ones in the repository I just put there), I can only see the new ones which don't exist in the old version.
I even tried replacing the RPD in the MUD folder, and STILL when I check out I get the bad version, I don't even know where from.
    I've also found this:
    http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2008/03/obiee-downgrading-repository.html
It seems like it may be what I need but we work in a private network, so unless I know that this is the only solution (and it can't be, because someone MUST know what the program actually does) I can't use it.
I'm really getting pissed with this. Has anyone EVER tried to revert a version? I think it should be a pretty basic task, right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • After re-installing Win 7 64 on my computer, and attempting to install my copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements, I now get the following message: "This version of Photoshop Elements requires MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to be installed". Does anyone have

After re-installing Win 7 64 on my computer, and attempting to install my copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements, I now get the following message: "This version of Photoshop Elements requires MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher to be installed". Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is? It has always worked in the past.

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed.  It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4).  Please see and follow the procedure in the following article:http://smallbusiness.chron.com/reverting-previous-version-itunes-32590.html   The previous version works beautifully.
