Reviecing Error 532 5.3.2 STOREDRV.Deliver

At our site we had this problem before we upgraded to Exchange 2013 CU6 after was installed problem was fixed.  About one month ago we applied some Windows Updates to the Exchange Farm 1 CAS Server, 2 Mailbox Server running in a DAG, all servers
are Windows 2012.  After the windows updates were applied the
Remote Server returned '532 5.3.2 STOREDRV.Deliver; Missing or bad StoreDriver MDB properties'Remote.
error has come back.  Is there a known issue with a windows update that would cause this?  Would upgrading to CU7 fix the issue again?

Hi,
Before upgrading to CU7, I suggest try following method.
In the multi-tenant document Microsoft says that one should not use the "hide from addresslist" attribute on the users. I guess this is because of the Routing Agent.

  • 432 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver; Agent transient failure during message resubmission

I am having an issue where emails to specific users internal to internal are being successfully delivered, but [a duplicate is?] also getting stuck in the "SMTP Delivery to mailbox" queue, with the sender getting a "Delivery is delayed to
these recipients or groups:" "Remote Server returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed" This only happens with emails to specific people in the organization, they get the email immediately after being sent, and everyone else works fine. This issue
started after we migrated the users mailboxs from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 CU5, we did not notice the issue until we finished moving all user mailboxes to 2013.
Delivery Report of email to affected user:

    The message was successfully delivered.

The message has been queued on server 'mail.domain.com' since 6/30/2014 11:20:15 AM (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada). The last attempt to send the message was at 6/30/2014 11:21:09 AM (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) and generated the error

After this error, i treid to send email again and there is no error and email was delivered. What was the cause of this error?
    Hasan

    Hi,
I tried to start seeding again but it is at same status. I will try again and hopefully it will get resolved.
But, yesterday i ran in to the most complex issue i have ever seen with Exchange.
There was a unexpected power cut at our datacentre due to which both the nodes went down.
After that both the nodes came up. But the all 3 databases were dismounted.
Therefore, i ran Eseutil /mh resulting dirty shutdown.
I was able to repair 2 databases.
But the 3rd one was not mounting with below error.
    Microsoft Exchange Error
Failed to mount database 'Mailbox Database'.
    Mailbox Database
    Failed
    Error:
Exchange is unable to mount the database that you specified. Specified database: XXXXX\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database; Error code: MapiExceptionJetErrorAttachedDatabaseMismatch: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-1216).
I was able to mount database somehow. There are 7 User mailboxes (Tier 1) on this database.
All emails sent to the users in this database are bouncing back with the below error.
This storage groups holds the mailboxes of my Senior Managements. And their mailboxes are down for almost 20 Hrs. I am spinning my head since yesterday but not able to find any fix. Can you please guide me in this concern.
    Best Regards

  • App error 532

    Hi,
I have a Blackberry 8310 and I recently upgraded my OS from 4.2 to 4.5 from the BB site and it did everything fine. Then I went and selected one of the themes I was using on the OS 4.2 and apparently there was some problem with it, maybe because it was not compatible with OS 4.5
But anyways, after I selected that theme, it gave me this App error 532 and only the option of restart. I keep doing that and nothing is happening .. it keeps coming back to the same screen
help me. What shall I do?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
You're not the first person to run into theme problems.  You do need to only use themes written for the OS you are running on your BB.

  • Iphone 3, sync'd with Exchange, sent mail goes to draft folder

Sent Mail (Exchange Account), is going to the drafts folder

NOTE: This also applies to Exchange 2010
You may want to check that you are getting Event ID 15002 or 15003 logged to the Application event log first before making this change.
    See this
    ExchangeServerPro article for reference.
    Also, see this
Krudler blog post for shortened version.
Please ensure if you are modifying the
"PercentageDatabaseDiskSpaceUsedHighThreshold" value in the EdgeTransport.exe.config file, you should take into consideration the percentage value notified in the Event Log.
    See this
MS Technet article for more technical information.
I had the same error as Shimon1 when using the MailFlow Tool in Exchange, however I did not have event 15002 in my Application Event Log. I resolved this problem by:
Modify the TCP/IP network protocol settings using the following commands
netsh int tcp set global chimney=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int ip set global taskoffload=disabled
I noticed when viewing individual messages in the queue in Exchange Management Console Queue Viewer, they had this message:
"Error: 4.3.2 432 STOREDRV.Deliver; recipient thread limit exceeded"
This was resolved with the help of this
MS blog on Exchange SP1 improvements.
I made the following addition to the EdgeTransport.exe.config file.
        <add key="RecipientThreadLimit" value="2" />
        <add key="MaxMailboxDeliveryPerMdbConnections" value="3" />

  • Long queue processing

    Hello,
    first I'll describe the situation:
    - we have test environment which sends e-mails to non existing e-mail addresses
    - we have catch_all mailbox (using catchallagent.codeplex.com )
    - on that mailbox we have rule for incoming mail that redirects all mail with sender containing '@domain.com' to another mailbox and deletes the e-mail (put it in trash)
    - on both mailboxes we have retention policy which clears trash after 1 day (no possbility to set it to shorter)
    - volume of these test e-mail is 3000 / day (one shot is from 10 to 20 e-mails at the same time)
    - we have Forefront for Exchange
    - both mailboxes are on the same database and it's separate database from rest of company e-mails
    - hardware wise it's 2 cores and 16GB ram, only exchange and forefront on this virtual machine
Now the problem is that queue often hangs on redirecting the e-mails (from catch_all mailbox to second one) and takes very long time to process, sometimes errors also if you try to access said mailboxes through OWA it's impossible (timeout). Which in the
end leads sometimes to hanging of the queue and requires Transport Service restart.
The error on messages is 4.3.2 432 STOREDRV.Deliver; recipient thread limit exceeded.
We applied the fix suggested, adding:
    <add key="RecipientThreadLimit" value="2" />
    <add key="MaxMailboxDeliveryPerMdbConnections" value="3" />
To EdgeTransport.exe.config but it didn't help. We also tried increasing the values by +1 to 3 and 4.
Restarting Transport Service is temporary solution.
Any advice is very welcome on this problem.
    Best regards,
    Wojciech Iwański

It looks like it hangs on one specific one as Active for some time and then tries to proceed other ones but all get fail with error 4.3.2
432 STOREDRV.Deliver; recipient thread limit exceeded.
We've noticed that the problem mainly starts when the mailbox has lot of items (like 2000-3000 daily mail in trash before deletion), we've written simple script that connects to the mailbox and cleans e-mails after 3h and so far we've not noticed a queue
hangs, but it's work around for me not really good solution.

  • Queue to Journal mailbox filling up

Started yesterday morning but is getting progressively worse. The queue which sends mail to the journal mailbox seems to be processing email, just not fast enough, so the queue continues to get bigger and bigger. No changes were made yesterday. Five
servers in a DAG, all Exchange 2013 (CU4). Besides the obvious, "update to CU7 or CU8", does anyone have any thoughts?

The majority of the messages sitting in the queue have the following error:

I found the following two articles which reference this issue on Exchange 2010 Hub Transport servers, but they reference modifying the 'edgetransport.exe.config' file.

  • E2007 SP3 journaling problem

    We're using Exchange 2007 SP3.
I've got tons of messages in my outbound queue, that are in a retry state. They're all to my journaling mailbox and have the following value for Last Error:
    430 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:MapiExceptionNotEnoughDisk
None of the messages are over-size and I verified the Transport service's logon account is Network Service. I also ran Test-ServiceHealth, which came backup clean.
    Per
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691172(v=exchg.80).aspx, I should be able to use the Mail Flow Troubleshooter tool, to learn more, but I don't see anything useful. I checked for trouble with message queues backing up and messages not being
received by some recipients. Both only returned informational messages.
What else should I be looking at? Thanks.

It doesn't say the message is too big, it says there's insufficient disk space.

In the multi-tenant document Microsoft says that one should not use the "hide from addresslist" attribute on the users. I guess this is because of the Routing Agent.

  • Error 554-5.6.0 Corrupt message content... when sending emails to other users on same exchange server

    Hello
I have a very strange problem at a customer from our company.
The problem happens to only one user on the Exchange 2010 organization (SP3, no additional patches installed, Server is 2008 r2).
When this specific user sends an email to one or more users on the same Exchange organization, he gets sometimes (not always) the following error back:
554-5.6.0 Corrupt message content 554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ConversionFailedException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Inhaltskonvertierung: Fehlerhafter TNEF-Zusammenfassungsinhalt. ConversionFailedException:
    Inhaltskonvertierung: Fehlerhafter TNEF-Zusammenfassungsinhalt. [Stage: CreateReplay]
So - TNEF, corrupt message Content... I googled the error and checked all the recommended Solutions. The Outlook Client is ok, I have doublechecked it and everything is configured like it has to be.
The Problems happens as above described only for one user when he writes emails to users from one specific Domain on the same Exchange organization (example
    [email protected]).
He has this specific contacts in a SharePoint contact list which is connected to his Outlook Client.
Thanks for any help or Information!
    Regards

    Hi,
According to your description, I understand that one user cannot send message with error “554-5.6.0 Corrupt message content 554 5.6.0”.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether it works or not when send message to external address, how about the OWA?
It seems that message has corrupt content. Is there any 3rd prevent software or Anti-Virus software in Exchange 2010?
Regarding this issue, firstly I would like to explain that content conversion occurs in two places, that are the Store Driver and the Content Conversion stage of Categorization. Since the issue exists in the delivery mail of internal user, the agent that was
used in the process of handling by Store Driver may cause this issue.
Please try to enable pipeline tracing and content conversion tracing to get more details about this error, for your reference:

That is an error message from the lutron server to you. It has nothing to do with Thunderbird at all.

  • Exchange 2007 database won't mount due to MapiExceptionCallFailed errors

A server is running Exchange Server 2007 SP2 on Windows Server 2008 64-bit. After a couple years of running smoothly, the Windows Application event log started filling up with several instances every minute of the following error:
    MSExchangeIS (2644) First Storage Group: A bad page link (error -327) has been detected in a B-Tree (ObjectId: 5, PgnoRoot: 10) of database H:\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database.edb (165296 => 3185, 817790).
Messages sent to a specific mailbox on the server started getting returned as undeliverable with the message:
#550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. The following information should help identify the cause of this error: "MapiExceptionCallFailed..."
I assumed that the event log messages and the delivery errors were related so I ran "eseutil /d" on the database but it exited with the message, "Operation terminated with error -1605 (JET_errKeyDuplicate, Illegal duplicate key) after 76.578 seconds. Running
eseutil /mh reports the database state as clean shutdown.
The Exchange database had been backed up nightly using Windows Server 2008 Backup. I restored the latest backup of the .edb file. Unfortunately, the corruption behind the bad page link error seemingly had propagated through the backups because the restored
.edb file had the same issues.
I then attempted to create a new clean database with the goal of then transferring mailbox data from the old to the new as described in the article "Simplifying the Dial Tone Database Recovery Process in Exchange 2007" (http://blogs.technet.com/b/dhardin/archive/2009/08/25/simplifying-the-dial-tone-database-recovery-process-in-exchange-2007.aspx).
I successfully created the new storage group and database with empty instances of all mailboxes but attempts to mount the old database yield this message:
Error: Exchange is unable to mount the database that you specified. Specified database: FASTMAIL\NewStorageGroup\Mailbox Database; Error code: MapiExceptionCallFailed: Unable to mount database. (hr=0x80004005, ec=-344)
I then tried to return to the initial state of having a corrupted database but one that would at least function temporarily for all but the one broken mailbox. The idea would be to instruct individual users to run the Outlook archive command to back their
messages up locally into .pst files. Unfortunately, all attempts to mount the original .edb file yield the same MapiExceptionCallFailed error. I also tried to mount the database after deleting the transaction log files.
I searched the web for information on this error. There are some pages describing similar errors such as "hr=0x80004005, ec=2417" but I could not find any for "ec=-344". Some articles recommend running IsInteg.exe but this utility only works for databases
that are already mounted and I am unable to mount the database.
The Exchange server is running again using the empty database so that the users can at least send and receive mail. I get the sinking feeling that all hope is lost and the historical mail data that was stored on the server is gone for good. Before I face
the pitchforks of the angry mob, I figured that I would at least post an inquiry on an Exchange-related forum.
Are there any other steps I should take to try to recover the old data?

have you checked the health of the database using eseutil /mh "edbfilename.edb" ?
is the state: Clean Shutdown ?
If it is in clean shutdown state, then move the old logs, chk, .jrs files and select the option "This database can be overwritten by a restore" and mount the database.
In case if your database is not in clean shutdown state then you would need to work towards getting the database to clean shutdown using any of the following strategies based on the criteria that the database is affected with !
    1. soft recovery
    2. Hard Recovery
    3. Hard repair
