Review Widget Answers not aligned. . .

Normally my review question answers are centered in the review box. The last few I've made are showing centered on iBooks Author but NOT on the ipad. See my screenshot to see what I'm referring to. I havent found any aligment options that I can change or check. Any clues?

Create a new book with the basic sample....add a few review widgets, save and test to see if things behave there.

Dashboard widgets are not aligning - what gives?

I have several weather widgets (different cities in the world) that run in Dashboard.
Each time I start up my computer and run the Dashboard, the widgets have moved up/down - basically out of alignment.
This began a few weeks ago and I can't figure it out. I line them up each time into a neat grid, and then after a startup, they are all out of line.
Anyone else have this happen? Any ideas how to fix it?
I have screen shots that I can email if anyone wants to see them.

Trashed both the plist files that resided in ~user/Library/Preferences.
Restarted and the widgets are not aligned in the grid that I set them to.
Arrrrggghhhh ... this is really irritating. Not life-threatening, but irritating.

IBook author review widget questions not displaying correctly.

I have a 5-question review, and after the first question, the following questions are not displayed in their entirety when previewed in iBook. Sometimes there are only 4 characters in the question. Has anyone else have this problem and have a solution?
(I did not have this problem before upgrading to latest iBook author/ibook software.)

Yes, I'm having problems as well with missing text in the review questions as well as some other formatting issues with floating text boxes and text-wrapping.
My book is in English with Japanese. I'm running on a MacBook Pro (Mid-2010) with OS 10.9.1 and iBooks Author 2.1.1. I have changed the fonts many different times. I've tried adding extra spaces as someone else mentioned elsewhere. I've tried every conceivable mix of layers. I've tried with a fresh new file. All to no avail.
I have put a lot of time and effort into my interactive Textbook and have finally finished. Now these issues are the last remaining before delivery through iTunes Producer.
FYI, I have previewed the book in iBooks (latest version), on an iPad mini retina, on an iPad (4th ten); both as previews and using the exported .ibook format (all on iOS7). The problems persist.

Interactive widget goes full screen but Review widget does not...

Anyone know why this is or if there is any way to make it go full screen?

I simply resized mine in the template a bit...
I don't know why it won't work fp for you, sorry. Perhaps things are a bit buggy right now. Keep trying and good luck.

Does the review widget -- remember the answers made by the student for feedback purposes?

No. It's for self assessment purposes only. You can request the user to take a snapshot of their answers to send via email or have them highlight text passages and add their answer as a note. Notes that students take can be emailed in bulk.
You could also look into third party widgets or other custom solutions / apps.

I can't rate or write a review for app on the app store. It allows me to write out the review but does not diplay my review after sending it. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get answer as apply refuse to reply or solve my problem. Thanks

How to change the answer text within the review widget of iBooks Author?

I want to change the answer text which appears after one has finished a test within the review widget of iBooks Author, but I can't figuere out how to do that.
I also want to sum up the result of a couple of questions as a percentage. How does that work?
Can anybody help?

Notice the answers inside the widget, each with a circle to the left - tap on one of those, which will then appear green with a checkmark in the center to indicate the correct choice.

Review Widget Error with Portrait Photos

When previewing my review widgets on the iPad, all of the questions with photos in portrait orientation are messed up even though they look fine when viewed in ibooks author. Even when I delete the photo completely and just have the words, it is still goofy. However, the landscape oriented photos and questions are all normal. In fact, so far all of the other multiple choice formats seem to work fine. Is there anyway to fix this without having to use all landscape photos?

The error still shows up even when exporting it as an ibooks file and syncing with iTunes. In fact, the book behaved as if it was no different from the preview book keeping all of my notes and even opening to the same page I had bookmarked in the preview version.

Video in the Review widget

Is there any way to insert video into the iBooks Author review widget?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The only half-baked solution I can come up with is to put the video next to a basic multiple choice layout, and just try and make the two look like they belong together. Which is not ideal, considering I have multiple videos and will have to create multiple review widgets to go with them. If anyone can come up with a better solution, I'm all ears!

Given the current state of iBA, I'd say you've established the best process you can expect.
You could always attempt to bake your own widget with both features, of course, but by that time I suspect you'll have thought of other features, etc. which might put you into an app instead.

Bugs iBooks Author review widgets and text sections

This week since updating software iTunes and on iPad 3 using Mac bookpro with Mac OS 10.7.5 the review widgets in iBook Author has a bug, which removes part of the questions and part of the answers. I am using the most recent version of iBooks Author.Any suggestions or advice? Also, another bug is that text sections have been affected to some degree with sections of sentences removed.All other wigets are running normal.

I also had this issue, particularly in the Review and Pop-Over widgets. Sections of text were absent only when I previewed on iPad or Mac. This occured on OS X v10.9 Mavericks for me, so it does not seem to be isolated to one operating system. I was also running the latest version of iBooks Author.
I was able to resolve this issue by rewriting the text in slightly different wording. Simply deleting the text and replacing it with the same text did not help. I had to actually rewrite different text that basically meant the same thing. I was not able to figure out what about the origional text was causing the problem. Try typing a variety of different sentences. Chances are, some will cause the error and some won't.

Interactive image & review widget issue-

When I publish the preview on my iPad, texts, illustrations and videos are fines except 2 widgets :
Interactive image and reviews are going wrong, the area is a little bit blured and not interactive at all ! I' tried with and without pictures. I've try with new templates but nothing… allways same problem
I've recently download a ibook on the iBookStore using Review widget and I've got the same problem, it means to me that the problem is from my iPad side does someone has any idea ?

IBA - change last page of review widget

I've created a quiz, but it isn't a "review". However, when the reader finishes the last question the screen says "You've successfully completed this review". I'm just using the built-in quiz/review widget. I'm wondering if there is any way I can change (or remove) this text?

I do not use this widget.. which I find too restrictive - but this "You've successfully completed this review".
is built into the widget and cannot ( as far as I can work out) be edited.
Bookry and iBooks-Widgets.com both sell and create to order widgets - mayb one has a widget more suited to your needs...
BTW I get no gain from these suppliers or have any involvement.... they just meet people needs for iBooks.
iBooks-Widgets.com also has a brilliant iBA tutorial book free from the iBooks store.

Text display problem in review widgets?

I've had a problem related to review widget in IBA. A part of the text disappears when exporting the book in .ibooks format. In some cases, only a part of the text is missing, sometimes the entire question or option. However, the text is displayed correctly in IBA.
I'm using IBA 2.1.1 on OS X 10.9. There are problems in both iBooks for Mac and iPad. IBA and books are in Finnish.

Are there any ways to prevent text from disappearing? This issue seems to be related to IBA version 2.1.x.

However, text is missing if the same books are exported using IBA 2.1.x
Anyone with a similar issue in this example may want to contact Apple Support to see if it is something on their end or to be laid at the feet of the latest version, I think.

ICal Week view, Date is not aligned with the Time(schedule) of each date

Well, just like it says over there (`` ). I've recently been to China for a business trip, and I suppose the different time zone may have had something to do with the problem. Now I'm back home, changed the time zone back to normal, still the iCal shows in the weekly view that the Date on the above is not aligning with the Time and schedule. Any suggetions would be grateful!!!

scheduling type i planned order is still "backwards"
so in MD04 it is say that the goods is available at 15.10.2009 same with requirement dates.
this seem not right.
it seems that order finish date is not adjusted by lead time scheduling on "today scheduling".
Is there a way so order finish date is adjusted by lead time scheduling on "today scheduling" ????

Text alignment "Justify" is not aligned in Crystal Viewer.

Hi,
I am having a text field in report like paragraph format in Detail section and I have setting the text alignment as u201CJustifyu201D. If I launch the report through dhtml viewer the text is not aligned in justify format, it is getting aligned as left alignment, but it is working properly while exporting to PDF and Design Preview panel.
This problem is occurs in Crystal Report XI Release 2 and Crystal Report 2008 also.
