REVISED: How do I restore all my old files, apps, settings etc. using TM?

My Macbooks HD failed the other day and had it replaced so now everything is completely wiped out and had to reinstall leopard. Well before all this happened I had been using Time Machine so all my files are backup on my external HD. Will I be able to restore everything back to the way I had it before the HD failed?? If so how do I go about doing this? I'm having trouble doing it besides restoring one things at a time.
*Note: And I've already installed leopard. How can i do this? Like what steps would i take?

The OS X help menu has detailed instructions (recovering your entire system). Enter Time Machine in the search window and scroll down.

I lost my iPhone 4s… major inconvenience. but how can I best move forward? If I go to the apple store and buy a new iphone, will they know how to recover all my info from my lost phone with my cloud?

You are not talking to Apple here. We are users just like you. You can sell your iPhone and get another if you wish. Thai is up to you. Apple will not exchange/buy your iPhone, if that is what you are asking.
FaceTime is banned in UAE and any iPhone sold there must have FT PERMANENTLY disabled. You will not be able to use FT on any phone that is legally sold in KSA or the UAE, no matter if you are in India or anywhere else in the world. Sorry.

I have tried to rebuild the mailbox but it has not done anything.

The mailbox behavior says: Drafts (not checked) store draft messages on the server, Notes (checked) show not in Inbox, Sent (checked) Store sent messages on the server Delete sent messages when (option never selected), Junt (not checked) store junk messages on the server Delete junk messages when (option never selected), Trash (checked) moves deleted messages to the Trash mailbox and (checked) store deleted messages on the server Permanently erase deleted messages when (one month old option selected).
I have not set up any rules that I know of other than a signature, in the very least I have not changed any.

You should regularly transfer anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and include it in your regular backup of your computer.

Thank you, I was able to figure it out. I had to go to the advanced section and then go to the back up for the day before I reset the phone.

It was tele tech. I couldn't open my Page Numbers etc. Frist tech chat idiot - following dumping few things in bin, asked me yo upgrade to Yosemite. But the problem still persists. This morning I was asked to do it via telephone and like yesterday, after wasting 20 min, I was put to this apparent Tech Queen ( my foot!). She eventually decided to reinstall Yosemite asked me to connect my external drive while I connected to her. She was moving cursor asking me to move files and delete and I followed her like a dummy. It took 3/4 hours and she called me 3 times once the lengthy process was completed. I suspected from the beginng for the fact that why should be asking me to click all my backup from the very beginning! Eventually she said I deleted... Or someone else or may be my children ! It was a blatant lie. I run my small business from home and I was simply staying in front of the Mac whole day! Children were at school. Then she said I must have used another computer! I only have laptop and the iPad. I will talk to their manager first thing in the morning. In the mean time please let me know as to how can I transfer photos, music etc back to my laptop from my Iphone and IPad .? I am will connect to laptop as I am worried the new BLANK iPhoto may supersede iphone/iPad stuff? Will it? Please let me know. I am not a very tech savvy person. My son who could help me, is in Manchester Uni and Inam in London.

Syncing the 3GS is exactly the same as syncing the 4S - so just do the same as you've been doing.
How do you normally sync contacts from your Mac to your iPhone? Via iTunes over USB/WiFi, or via iCloud?
