REVOLUTION. will not open my email
when i try to open my email message i get the message( failed to load massage.) it does open some of the emails but not all of them

Which message app are you using? Are you using the gMail app or the stock email client because gMail has a spam option.

Anytime I drag my cursor across, or try to click on a "mailto" email link on any webpage, it will display an incorrect e-mail address (it seems to default to one in particular). It will not open a new e-mail window and if I "copy e-mail address" it's the wrong one. I've tried everything and was hoping with new updates the problem would solve itself but obviously it hasn't.

Photos will not open in email, photos will not open in email
no settings changes, but ipad air will not open photos att. to email. mac emails open, ipad 2 opens same photos just fine.
This is an overnight change- what caused it?
Air also seems to crash far more often than ipad 2.
Any solution faster than restoring factory settings and reloading? Most important, how to prevent this irritation from recurring?

Seems to have something to do with size. The photos I was sending were all over 1mb. When I send a photo that is only a few hundred kilobytes it works fine.
Some setting prehaps with the iPhone?
Larger photos are fine with the iPad I tried. -
When I receive an Email in Evolution and there is a link in the Email to go to a web site Firefox opens my home page. It will only open the home page when following a Email link. I am using Firefox 4.0.1 and Ubuntu 11.04

Since updating to iOS 6.0.1, email app will not open and other problems.
Help! Since updating my phone to iOS 6.0.1, my email app will not open, my email/contacts/calendar settings will not open, my touchscreen is unresponsive, my battery is draining in two hours time, and my delete button only works one letter at a time (can't hold down to delete easily). I've done a soft reset and I've restored twice to no avail. This is a MAJOR problem! I'm not wanting to pay for the apple care since this may result in upgrading to the iPhone 5 (last option) and the closest apple store is an hour and a half from me.
This seems to be a common problem.
I am suffering too!
It would seem to be very shoddy from apple to allow such problems.
Not the first issue since upgrade to iOS 6.....think home button problems.

When I get attachments in my email, they will not open when I click on them.
When I am on the internet, videos, click-ons all open immediately. I had to go to the internet to get to your site, because when I clicked on the "Help" at the bottom of my Thunderbird account, it would not open.
In a nutshell, if I get an email from a group that says "click here for more info" or if I click the
"play arrow "on the u tube video etc. It will not open and/or play. This is only happening in my email account.Thunderbird does not play video. You need to correct software to open the file types you are being sent.

Email not opening on my iPad2 This is a sudden thing, email had been working fine since purchasing the device then today would not stay open, now it will not open at all. After trying to open mail I receive a white screen for a nano second and the app closes.
Have you tried closing the Mail app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I recently upgraded from an iPad 1 to an Air. One of its main uses is to avoid printing volumes of papers for meetings, so the abilty to open attachments with mail is pretty important.
There are some attachments that will not open in the mail application on an iPad Air. Some in the same format do (docx). They do open in Mail on my MacBook, and iPad1, or if I go to webmail on any device including a Blackberry, so it is not a file corruption problem. The problem persists on different networks. Other emails from the same sender do work. It seems to be specifically related to IOS 7 or the Mail app. Quickview won't work, nor will opening with a range of Apps which report a file error.
There was an historical problem with Apple garbling pdf files, but this is a new one on me.
All this is a shame because it is opening emails in attachments that was one of my main reasons for buying an Air.
Does anyone know of the cause? A solution?What about a work-around?
Ios 7.1 etc. has a problem with communicating with exchange. There are lots of reports of problems with pdf files.

After upgrading to ios6 my iphone will not open .xls files in emails with the default viewer. Is there a fix for this? The same emailed .xls files still open on my ipad using ios5 while viewing email like they did on my iphone prior to upgrading. I have no special software like numbers or anything else installed on either device. Just using the default viewer provided by apple for viewing email.
The attachment is an .xls excel 97-2003 spreadsheet. I viewed the file in the email and did not edit it with any software. I can forward the file to anyone that is may want to check it out to see if they can help me. I was wondering if there was some way of forcing another ios6 install on my phone and maybe that would solve it.
Is there anyone out there that is viewing .xls files in email using ios6 w/o any other software installed like numbers or any other add ons? Email from 1 person will not open, goes back to home screen on iPad and iPhone
I used to be able to open emails (Gmail account) from this person, but for the last week his emails will not open. On my iPhone and iPad, when I click on his email I go back to the home screen. I can open the email from my laptop just fine.
Any ideas?If it happens again, do the following (which will not harm any content on your device): Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon). Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

Firefox will not open at all. I tried to remove it from the programs to try to reinstall it but it wont let me remove it. So I tried to download again anyways and ff still wont open. My email is alicia@****
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

My mum has an iPad 1, the email programme will not open properly. If you click on the icon it opens only for a few seconds but then shuts. In that few seconds you cant select anything that you see on screen. Any ideas? Thanks

Shut down and restart the Mail app...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the Mail app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.

Email links will not open in my Firefox browser
Hello, Using my Firefox web browser when I am in my emails. Inside the email body and there is a link to click on inside. The Firefox will not open the link page, it comes up as an error. However, if i right click and open in a new window. Firefox will then open the link and send me to that page.
I then decided to try IE and when I double click the link within the email body, it opens it up with no issues at all.
Firefox is my default browser.

I have checked all the above trouble shooting suggestions. I still am having the same problem.
I use Firefox as my default browser and have it checked off as per your last email. I am only having this problem in my emails. I cannot open url links in my emails anymore by double clicking on the mouse. I have to right click the mouse and choose open in a new window. It will then open that url link and take me to the website link.
If I try this by double clicking the url link, it takes me to a blank page with this "https://mail.go....er=ohh14rw8mbn4"
at the top of the page in the tab.
