RF menu doesn't fit screen

Hi folks,
I'm observing a strange behavior. I use a PDA with a barcode scanner and display the standard SAP ITSMobile menu (lm00) in the Internet Explorer of that Windows CE device. I've set the presentation format to 16x20. The PDA has a QVGA display.
What happens:
1. Logon screen is displayed. (fits perfectly in height and width - no scroll bars)
2. I log in.
3. The RF menu is displayed. (doesn't fit in height and width by about 30% - scroll bar visible)
Even with only 3 menu points the logoff Button (F8) is displayed very low so you'll always have to scroll. Does this work as designed or do I have to configure something? I just can't believe that the standard SAP RF transactions can't fit a state of the art QVGA display without scrolling...
Any suggestions are highly welcome!!!

  • Menu doesn't fit on screen

I have a menubar on my application, one of the menu items is a submenu listing about 15 options one of which can be selected (radio button). the menu is small enough overall to fit on the screen but when it shows up it only displays about half of it and the top half is cut off by the top of the screen. how do I get arouns this.

Perhaps its a better idea to place the options in a Dialog box and create an options entry in the menu that pops up the dialog. I think that might make a better interface, though i can't see how your prog is used of course

  • Airplay doesn't fit screen! (pictures included)

I've just installed a new 1080p projector and connected my iPad 3 to it.
When using Apples standard VGA Adapter the iPad fills the whole screen on the projector, see picture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mqhpyrfv6d7omgn/VGA.JPG
But when im connecting an Apple TV 3 and using screen mirroring via Airplay, the picture gets smaller, see picture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wbxfbo4cxgbp4me/ATV.JPG
I can't find any reasonable explanation to why this happens, so I'm asking here. Is there any solution?
    Thanks!

I have a good LG, a cheap Goodmans a Sharp and another at work which I'm not sure about, all that I use regularly and others less regularly. Some are connected using 720p and some 1080p.
its not really possible to answer your 'does it fit 100%, pixel for pixel' question, because TV's don't work the way you think they might do. TV's do something called overscan, which results in the picture being displayed bigger than the screen, so a small portion at the edge of the picture is cropped away. All TV's do this to a greater or lesser extent. Whilst I am therefore unable to see the edge of my picture I can in all cases confirm that my mirrored iPad picture is cropped.
Because, this might hide something you don't want it to on an iPad screen, unlike a movie where it doesn't matter, Apple have added a setting to correct for overscan. This setting basically shrinks the picture by a set amount. Because each TV set overscans differently, the amount the picture appears to shrink and the size of the black border introduced by this varies from TV to TV. Apple have likely corrected based on the worst cases of overscan. I can confirm that when I turn this setting on when using my iPad that I get a different amount of border on each TV.
if you are able to adjust how the iPad looks on your TV using your TV settings, it's the TV that is complicated not the Apple TV, the Apple TV has 2 related settings only.
so far as I am aware the iPad sends a 720p picture to the Apple TV, but this doesn't really matter, since whatever resolution is sent to the Apple TV, the Apple TV scales it to the resolution it is set to output.

  • My MacBook Pro 17" display has been corrupted, image doesn't fit screen?

Why has the image on my screen become larger than the screen size?

By accident you much have slightly zoomed the screen.
Head to your Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accessibility or Universal Access and adjust.

  • Display doesn't fit screen

I just bought a new MacBook 13 and transferred everything from my MacBook Pro 15" using Migration Assistant.
So many things in the display don't fit the screen area. I've looked all over for a way to adjust this in "preferences" but see nothing. Even email is half hidden.

Are you sure that this isn't a one-off migration problem, with applications remembering their window size from your old, bigger, screen? You can test this by moving the window so you can see the bottom-right corner, then dragging this to resize the window so it fits the screen. If the application subsequently works OK then that's your answer.
I think that you can also test this theory by clicking the green + icon on the window (top left). If that 'corrects' the window then again I think it means that the window just has a remembered size that's bigger than your new screen.
    Best of luck.

  • IMovie doesn't fit screen

Hi! I have this weird problem with iMovie that drives me CRAZY! I have a Mac Book Pro.  It's hard to explain but i will do my best! In the event browser on the bottom half of the screen the events don't fit in all the way. The window cuts off but the events are still going horizontally. if thats make sense. Its like they are hidden on the out side of the window. It only happens occasionally and somehow it seems to fix itself miraculously when it feels like it but i would like to fix it now.
Just a side note for clarification, the window itself wont shrink down to fit inside the screen boundaries, it is stretched so if you want to view something on the right you have to move the whole page over.
    Thanks,
    Justin

I think I made a fix and adjusted the screen resolution up super high

  • Screen Resolution blurred. Desktop disply doesn't fit screen

I have a Mac Book pro intel running 10.4.11.
Without making any changes to my resolution pref's, it opened up displaying the desktop (and subsequently opened app's) as blurred and not fitting the monitor (too large all round)
by holding down and moving the mouse, I can move the WHOLE screen to access an icon or tool bar.
Tried to change resolution, but it makes no difference.
Any solution other than throwing it at the repair shop for a new driver?

That sounds like "zoom mode." Press the 'control' key while moving the
scroll ball on the mouse to "zoom out" to normal size. If you like, you can
    disable zoom mode from:
*System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse*
    Looby

  • Window doesn't fit screen

Since installing Mavericks, I find some windows open just a bit larger than the actual screen. Just enough so that I can neither reach the three dots in the upper left hand corner nor the bottom right hand corner to resize it. In fact, I am totally stuck and the only thing left to do is to press Cmd+W to close the window. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm pretty certain I can't see the double arrows because they're the same height as the red, yellow, green dots. I knew Cmd F for full screen with videos, but I didn't know Ctrl Cmd F. I'll definitely give that a try next time it happens. I also do get stuck in full screen with VLC - annoyingly with sound, but no picture so I have to exit full screen and then go back.

  • Menu doesn't fit

ok so I built 16:9 a project in FCP destined for dvd. I exported a self contained movie and imported that into DVD Studio Pro.
in the simulator, everything looks fine, the menu letters are within the "title safe" area.
so I burned it to disk but the title letters are out of bounds using a projector set to "16:9 image". I also tried it on a 4:3 tv but that squished the people too tall and skinny.
why does it work on the computer but not in "real life"

    darbypsnm
although the end dvd works, Im afraid whats happening is Im outputting a 4:3 project from fcp, then using anamorphic to stretch the pixels.
my camera, Panasonic dvx100b, does not shoot real 16:9 footage, only anamorphic.
therefore I think the computer is seeing 4:3.
the canvas window in fcp looks like 16:9 without a doubt but when I export to quicktime, quicktime conversion or compressor, there is no way to make it look like 16:9. the preview window in compressor shows a 4:3 image - squishing the people to be tall and thin.
only after importing to dvdSP can I change the settings to make it look like 16:9.
I can't get the preview in compressor to show a 16:9 version! --even though it says we are using the setting "dv/ntsc anamorphic"
maybe I could be getting a lesser quality image becuase Im telling dvdsp to stretch it?
how come I cant get a 16:9 image to carry all the way through?

  • Display doesn't fit screen now. Black bar an inch wide on right side of screen on Satellite L655

The right side of my screen has a blacdk bar about an inch wid.  It is like the display ends an inch before it actaully does on the right hand side.  Also the taskbar is below the bottong of my screen and I cannot see it.  I have tried to adjust the screen resolution and every other option the control panel offers but nothing changes it.  The last time I had my laptop on it was fine.  I turned it on yesterday and have had it shut down and restarted multiple times and every time since yesterday afternoon the screen is showing wrong.   How do I fix this issue?

I know this is an old thread, but hopefully you'll get my message.  Did you ever sresolve this problem?  I have exactly the same issue. Thanks, Kevin

  • Workspace doesn't fit the screen anymore...

    Hello.
Since today (and Mac OS X's update I installed this morning, I guess), my Photoshop CS6 workspace doesn't fit the screen of my 12 inch Cintiq (connected to a 2014 Macbook Air).  No matter what I do, it keeps it wrong.
Trying to set the photoshop window to the whole Cintiq screen with the "green" Mac OS corner button, this is what I get:
Hitting F won't do the trick, this is what it gets me:
I tried to clear the Photoshop prefs, without success.  I checked for updates and found there was a Photoshop update I had not yet installed, and I did install it, to no success.  Needless to say, this makes my copy of Photoshop most unusable, which is a really big problem for an illustrator like me.  I really wish I can solve this as soon as possible.
    Thanks.

Yeah, no results. Still the same.
If I take my main window and move it up by myself, it's just gonna stay there until the next click somewhere, then it gets back to this wrong placement,.

  • HT204291 When I airplay my ipad, it doesn't fit the tv screen

I have ipad air and using toshiba tv. When I mirror the image to the tv screen, it doesn't "fit to screen". Are other people having this problem?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Mirroring won't fill the TV screen. The iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and the iPhone 4S or prior an aspect ratio of 3:2, neither of these will fit exactly into a TV screen which as an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Apple TV will not zoom the mirrored image, because it may well cut off information which is situated at the top or bottom of the screen.
You may wish to try each of the settings in ‘Settings > Audio & Video > Adjust for AirPlay overscan’ for the best setting that suits you.
