RF pass through not working in High ECO mode stand...

I recently changed the ECO mode on my BT G4 DTR-T2100 box from Low to High - I have the RF loop through power option set to On but when my box goes into low power standby (red light on the front) my TV picture starts pixelating.  The moment I press the power button on the BT box the TV displays a normal picture so it looks like the box is not providing power to the RF pass through when in low power standby?  Any one else have the same problem?  Is the box faulty or is there a problem with the software?

That is how the box is designed to work.
If you look at user guide P29 of the current version on the web it explains that you need to be at Low eco mode for RF loop thru.
Thanks - makes some sort of sense I suppose though it would be more obvious if the RF option was disabled if the High Eco option is selected.

  • Imac 5.1 pass through not working

    Can anyone help me get 5.1 pass through sound out of my iMac?
    I have a video file I have created with a 5.1 sound track.
    I have a 2009 imac, 27 inch. running Lion
    I have connected the imac to a Marantz AV receiver, using the toslink cable.
    The sound plays but the AV receiver will on read a STEREO signal.
    If I stream the exact same file to my apple TV via itunes then the AV receiver can read the 5.1 sound.
    I am guessing that there is something set up wrong on the imac.
    Anyone know where I am going wrong?
    Cheers

    I have the same problem with my 27" late 2009 iMac. I am unable to output surround sound throught the digital optical output using a toslink cable with an adapter. But what I do to output surround sound is use the minidisplay port. I connect a minidisplay port to HDMI cable to my iMac and the HDMI input on my reciever. Check out my post about outputting surround sound from your Mac.

  • IMovie 5.0.2 and VCR- Camcorder Pass Through not working

    Anyone have any idea why I can't plug my VCR into my Sony-TRV27 via A/V cables, then plug my camcorder into my Powerbook via firewire and capture the VHS footage. According to all documentation I have read, I should be able to use my camcorder as an Analog to Digital converter and capture in iMovie.
    I can see the VHS video on the camcorder but as soon as I plug into the CPU and open iMovie the screen turns blue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

    Powerbook G4 1.67   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    Had the same symptom at first.
    iMovie wouldnt record if the camera was feeded by the signal of a VHS machine.
    I went along and solved it.
    The used SONY Camera would allow to actually REC a signal in VCR mode (used to be and still soemtimes is called PLAYBACK mode). You have to find a Record button (or a pair of, as in our case) and actually record the VHS signal onto the camera - then iMovie would gladly show the image as well.
    Unfortunately this solution has the drawback of wearing the camera mechanics off because you actually record soemthing you dont really use.

    In order to get proper help or solution you should list the devices specs for example processor type, ssd or conventional hard drive type graphics card model example apu or discrete and how much ram is installed plus is it tailored for gaming, I will be honest with you consumer notebooks are not ment for gaming.
    Do you have the latest updated software installed for the card? Is your internet connection being hampered by background tasks?
    If what I just said doesn't make any sense to you then you should simply refresh your system install the game and see if the problem still persists other wise your devices is not ment to run game's.

     It has to be set on Manual mode at 8mp
    HDR
    Use the HDR (High Dynamic Range) setting to take a photo against strong back light or in conditions where the contrast is sharp. HDR compensates for the loss of detail and produces a picture that is representative of both dark and bright areas.
    This setting is only available in Manual capturing mode.
    ISO
    You can reduce image blurring caused by dark conditions or moving subjects by increasing the ISO sensitivity.
    Auto
    Sets the ISO sensitivity automatically.
    50
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 50.
    100
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 100.
    200
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 200.
    400
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 400.
    800
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 800.
    1600
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 1600.
    3200
    Sets the ISO sensitivity to 3200.
    This setting is only available in Manual capturing mode.
    Metering
    This function automatically determines a well-balanced exposure by measuring the amount of light striking the image you want to capture.
    Centre
    Measures the centre of the image, and determines the exposure based on the brightness of the subject there.
    Spot
    Adjusts the exposure in a very small part of the image that you want to capture.
    Face
    Measures the amount of light on the face, and adjusts the exposure so that the face is neither too dark or too bright.
    Multi
    Divides the image into multiple regions, and measures each region to determine a well-balanced exposure.
    This setting is only available in Manual capturing mode.
    Image stabiliser
    When taking a photo, it can be difficult to hold the device steady. The stabiliser helps you by compensating for small movements of the hand.
    This setting is only available in Manual capturing mode.
    Preview
    You can choose to preview photos or videos just after you shoot them.
    Unlimited
    The preview of the photo or video appears after you shoot it.
    5 seconds
    The preview of the photo or video apears for 5 seconds after you shoot it.
    3 seconds
    The preview of the photo or video appears for 3 seconds after you shoot it.
    Edit
    The photo or video opens for editing after you shoot it.
    Off
    The photo or video is saved after you shoot it, and no preview appears.
    Face registrationYou can register faces with the Camera application so that the viewfinder automatically focuses on these faces when they appear in the viewfinder.
    Flash
    Use the flash to take photos when lighting conditions are poor or when there is a backlight. The following options are available when you tap the flash icon in the camera screen:
    Auto
    The camera automatically determines if the lighting conditions require the use of a flash.
    Fill flash
    Use this setting when the background is brighter than the subject. This removes unwanted dark shadows.
    Red-eye reduction
    Reduces the red colour of eyes when taking a photo.
    Off
    The flash is turned off. Sometimes photo quality can be better without the flash, even if lighting conditions are poor. Taking a good photo without using the flash requires a steady hand. Use the self-timer to avoid blurred photos.
    Torch
    A torch or camera light is turned on when you take photos.
    Scene selection
    Use the Scene selection feature to quickly set up the camera for common situations using pre-programmed scenes. The camera determines a number of settings for you to fit the selected scene, ensuring the best possible photo.
    Off
    The Scene selection feature is off and you can take photos manually.
    Soft Skin
    Take photos of faces using an enhanced beauty effect.
    Soft snap
    Use for shooting photos against a soft background.
    Anti motion blur
    Use for minimising camera shake when shooting a slightly dark scene.
    Landscape
    Use for landscape photos. The camera focuses on distant objects.
    Backlight correction HDR
    Use to improve details in high contrast shots. The built-in backlight correction analyses the image and automatically adjusts it to give you a perfectly lit shot.
    Night portrait
    Use for portrait photos taken at night or in poorly lit environments. Due to long exposure time, the camera must be held still or placed on a stable surface.
    Night scene
    Use when taking photos at night or in poorly lit environments. Due to long exposure time, the camera must be held still or placed on a stable surface.
    Hand-held twilight
    Use for taking hand-held low-light photos with reduced noise and blur.
    High sensitivity
    Use for taking photos without a flash under low light conditions. Reduces blur.
    Gourmet
    Use for shooting food arrangements in bright colour.
    Pet
    Use for taking photos of your pet. Reduces blur and red eyes.
    Beach
    Use for taking photos of seaside or lakeside scenes.
    Snow
    Use in bright environments to avoid overexposed photos.
    Party
    Use for indoor photos in poorly lit environments. This scene picks up indoor background lighting or candlelight. Due to long exposure time, the camera must be held still or placed on a stable surface.
    Sports
    Use for photos of fast-moving objects. Short exposure time minimises motion blurring.
    Document
    Use for photos of text or drawings. Gives the photo increased, sharper contrast.
    Fireworks
    Use for taking photos of fireworks in all their splendour.
    This setting is only available in Manual capturing mode.

  • BDC on FK01 is not working in NO-SCREEN Mode

    Hi gurus ,
    i have a situation,
      A custom interface (built as per requirement) is facing some issues with BDC when executing in "NO-SCREEN mode".
        There was a requirement to include email adress while creating permitted payee vendors for corresponding Original vendors iN  sap.
        Now it used to create them . But after i retrieved the email details for a vendor and passsed in the BDC based on some condition, it doesnot work in "NO-SCREEN Mode" . For ALL Screen Mode it is working as expected ; when OK-CODES are given it asks with a pop-up which mode of communication reqd.
    if  email is selected then it assigns onto the new payee vendor being created. What's the problemwith NO-SCREN Mode?
    could somebody plz guiide here.
    Thanx
    kylie

    Hi Sandra ,
    Thanks for your suggestion throiugh the link.
    Had checked the trouble shooting for  BDC : but the scenario in which i experienc eth eproblem is little different.
    Well the Interface to create vendors was working perfectly in ALL Screen as well as NO-SCREEN mode.
    But a small requirement seem to change its execution.
    The Interface had a commented code snippet : retrieve email address from ADR6 table. Now according to the new requirement this code snippet needs to be utilized. So i uncommented that and duly passed th etable entries into the concerned screen (the code for that screen aldready exsits in the recording but not utilized since the retrieval was commented)
    Collects the email address for any vendor from ADr6 table
    Moderator message - Please respect the 2,500 character maximum when posting. Post only the relevant portions of code
    now for linking the above created vendor, FK02 BDC is maintained. In this BDC the payment transaction screen is used to link payee vendors (above created vendor)  at company code level for any principal vendors (selected from lfa1 and lfb1 table). So only two screens for linking .
    this entire code was working perfect in both A mode and  N mode  but after including the ADR6 code snippet i dont find teh similar execution in N mode.
    Could you please guide me where could i ahve made some mistake.
    thanks

  • Tab key does not work properly in Assessment mode

    I am predominatly using Adobe Captivate for software simulations and assessment purposes.
    I've seen similar items posted on the forums and noted this appears to be a common problem with a solution, to edit the HTM file with the code  so.addParam("seamlessTabbing", "false"); see post http://forums.adobe.com/message/5283597#5283597.
    I tried this with a file that was published without the need for SCORM compliance and it worked fine.  Once the requirement was introduced for SCORM compliance (and to publish as a Zip file), this does not work as the code is different in the HTM file.
    My file has the following code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

       //Register event handlers
       window.onkeypress    = CheckForDebugCommand;
       window.onload    = OnloadActivities;
       window.onbeforeunload  = Finish;
       window.onunload   = Finish;
       document.onkeypress   = CheckForDebugCommand;
      </script>
    </head>
    <body>
       <div id = "CaptivateContent">

         Please enable JavaScript, then relaunch the course.
        </noscript>
       </div>
    </body>
    </html>
    How could I edit this to disable the "seamless tabbing" referred to in the original article to make the TAB key work as intended.
    Thank you.

    This is from my e-book:
    http://www.infosemantics.com.au/troubleshoot-adobe-captivate
    Notice that the procedure for Seamless Tabbing in Cp6 with SCORM is different to that for normal non-LMS courses.
    Implementing Seamless Tabbing in Cp6
    All Captivate versions up to and including Cp6 had Seamless Tabbing active by default and set in the HTM template code. But you can still turn it off by manually inserting some code into the published HTM file as follows:
    Navigate to your published Captivate content and open the HTM file in Notepad.
    Locate the line of code in the HTM file that starts with:
    var so = new SWFObject(
    Add the following code on the next line:
    so.addParam("seamlessTabbing", "false");
    Save changes to the file and test by running your project again in the browser.  You should now be able to use the TAB key without leaving your published content.
    Adding seamless tabbing to Cp6 SCORM support files
    Seamless tabbing in Cp6 SCORM projects is a little more complex because the templates are quite different to those used for normal content.  To control seamless tabbing in SCORM content you need to make the changes to the SCORM_utilities.js file in the Captivate install directory.
    Depending on whether you’re on 32bit or 64bit, you should be able to find it at one of these locations:
    32bit:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (32 Bit)\Templates\Publish\SCORM\Default\js
    64bit:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6\Templates\Publish\SCORM\Default\js
    Open the SCORM_utilities.js file in Notepad or another suitable plain text editor. Scroll down to the end of the code until you find the following lines:
    so.addParam("quality", "high");
    so.addParam("wmode", CONFIG.WMODE);
    so.addParam("bgcolor", CONFIG.BGCOLOR);
    so.addParam("menu", "false");
    so.setAttribute("name", CONFIG.SWFOBJ_NAME);
    so.setAttribute("redirectUrl", CONFIG.REDIRECT_URL);
    so.addParam("AllowScriptAccess","always");
    so.write(CONFIG.TARGET);
    Add the so.addParam("seamlessTabbing", "false"); code to this group and save the file.
    If you are currently unable to save changes to these template files, my gut feeling would be that it must have something to do with your user permissions. E.g. you are not an Administrator for your own PC. Is that possible?

  • IMAQ OverlayMnltiLines vi not work in fill color Mode on CVS1456 VGA

    Hi,
    I try to output colorful polygon on NI CVS 1456 VGA with IMAQ OverlayMultiLine vi Fill mode and it just output the frame of the polygon but not fill the color to the monitor. Try the OvelayRectanglewith Fill color, the vi works. Is there anyone know why? How to make the OverlayMultiLine vi's Fill mode work? Thanks!
    John

    Good afternoon John,
    This information has been passed onto our R&D department.  Earlier in the week, I tested out this problem and came across the exact same results.  The OverlayMultiLine.VI works correclty in the "Fill" mode when run on the host computer.   However, the "Fill" mode does not work properly when deployed to the CVS.
    I apologize for this inconvenience!

  • F10 Key not working in Web Browser mode

    I created a click box on a CP5 screen and assigned F10 as the Shortcut key and the action is "Go to the next slide."  When the user presses F10 the demo would advance to the next screen.
    This works great in preview mode.  However, when in Web Browser mode, nothing happens except I get this message at the bottom of the screen, "Contains commands for working with selected item."
    How do I get the F10 key to work (action desired: advance to the next screen in my demo) in browser mode?

    Hi there
    LIkely it depends on the browser, but some keys are always reserved for use by the browser itself and they cannot be used as shortcut keys by a Captivate SWF because the browser will intercept them and not pass them on to the SWF.
    I'm not sure if F10 is among those keys, but it may well be.
    This would likely beg the question of why Captivate would allow you to assign a shortcut key if if wouldn't work when you publish and play in the browser. And for that I would remind you that SWF output is just one of the ouputs Captivate may produce. If you published as EXE, you aren't bound by browser behavior and the key would likely work just dandy.
    Cheers... Rick

    Hi Team,
    Greetings of the Day!! We are supporting a project which included the technologies "ADF , BPEL , AIA , SOA".
    We have a page developed in ADF and the page contains TABS.
    We have a LOV which have 'Add Product' as one of the value.
    When we click try to Configure the Line for a particular Product it is redirecting dmz-server where we have 'YES/NO' Buttons but this buttons are not working in IE-10 Normal mode and in other browsers buttons are working fine.
    Could some one please help me on this.
    Thanks

    For that matter, the "return to menu" which is set to a Main button type, isn't working either.  that is one of the three.  After i had removed the damaged button and copied it from another it worked.  Then i simply edited the text of a different button (mind you one that still works) and the "return to menu" quit along with the bottom 2 buttons.  I just can't figure it out.  I have shut the app down and restarted and nothing seems to be working

    Hi Sandeep,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    I haven’t find any documentation illustrate this limitation, it’s just my experience,  I have a report which contains a muti-value parameter, it contains 500 value items and the length of each value is equal or greate than 10 characters, when I select
    all parameter values, there is no response when I click the apply button, however, when I only select several items in it, the report showing fine, I could not sure your issue is the same with mine, it’s just my conclusion. If your issure is not related to
    the length of the selected parameter, just occures to certain users even they selected with the same parameter values with the other users who run fine with this report, then this reply should not adapt to your scencario, it is so unbeliveable it is not working
    only for certains users, I have not experience this issue before, and the information you provided is so limited that I could not address the root cause of your issue.

  • Magic Mouse not working in 32 bit mode?

    Hello,
    I decided to boot my 64-bit 8 core Mac pro in 32 bit and the mouse (bluetooth apple magic mouse) was not working... The keyboard did work however.
    Im not necessarily looking for a remedy to this problem as I don't really plan on using my system in 32 bit mode on a regular basis..... I was just wondering why it might be doing this..
    Anyone have an idea?

    Never mind... this is the MAC Pro section!
    I must be really out of it this morning.... :/
