RFC error - BI NW2004s and BI Accelerator

Hello Gurus,
Strange problem while connecting or doing RFC from BI accelerator to BI NW2004s system.
any help would be appreciated.

1. Start the TREX admin tool (stand-alone)
Prerequisites -
Since the TREX admin tool has a graphical interface, you need an X server on UNIX . You cannot use a terminal program that only supports text mode, such as telnet.
Log on with the user <sapsid>adm.
Enter the following:
cd <TREX_DIR>
./TREXAdmin.sh
2. Go to the TREX admin tool area "Landscape" and choose the tab "RFC".
3. Choose "Repair all".
Result: The RFC connection between BIA (TREX 7.0 used for High Perfomance Analytics) and the BI system will be restored.

MAM RFC Error with Order and Notification SyncBo's

Hi everyone, can you please advise on a problem I'm having when downloading 2-WAY SYNCBO MAM objects.
I am able to download all syncbo's to my client with my username. This includes Orders and Notifications.
But.....whenever I use a different username only some of the SyncBO's come over. I am missing MAM25_001 and MAM25_010 data. Here is what I have done so far:
- Ensured username had exactly the same SAP security profile as I do, including the MI authorization objects.
- Ensured username was configured the same in the IMG.
- Re-generated and re-replicated my SyncBo's.
- Checked table MEREP_10100. It showed no Order or Notification data.
It does not make sense why everything works for me, but not for other usernames on my network.
Here is the RFC error I get from the Middleware using MEREP_MON:
RFC system Error:
Z_MEREP_GEN_S01_____MAM25_010 has finished for run number 0000019624 and runtime counter 17.

Hi Alex,
Could you please reply the SP levels of the MI Client, MI server and MAM application?
Also is your client device a PDA?
You could try out few things ( not sure whether they will help)
1. Sync several times (may 6 times) for the other users.
2. Remove the MAM application for the one of the other usernames from the webconsole(which is not able get the data) and reassign it.
3. Try the username on some other device.

This enables the systems to recognize the target system as an RFC destination. If the logical system has already been created, skip this activity.
Logical systems are defined cross-client.
Procedure
Carry out the following steps:

TMS_TM_GET_TRLIST and RFC error

Hello,
I am having problem with RFC call to TMS_TM_GET_TRLIST. Since this function is not remote enabled, I copied it and made it remote enabled. Function works well from SAP but when I call it from PHP, I get:

RFC error while activating the Form

hi all,
i am trying to activate a new form or even while generating the pdf tab.this generates the pdf but with a popup 'no message though'.
i get a success message of bytes transmitted ,code page 0000.
but doesnot get activated.
but when i execute it..
i get an error message as below.

is it a compatibility error. aor what?
i use windows o7,LDC 8.0,adobe reader 9.1 with flash player 10

Use reports FP_TEST_00 a FPDESTINATION_CHECK (with destination checked true) to find out when your ADS connection will work. Your basis colleagues will use the same reports for their test.
Learn that FP_* reports can be very useful for you in future, for testing or as a demo programs.

When I try to add a Transport request in queue in STMS transaction. I get RFC error saying some problem with tp program.
But when I go and check the RFC connection through STMS in system overview -> Communication -> RFC setting, it says RFC connection Ok.
What may be the issue ? I really need some light on this..

Hi Rajesh,
At times when u try to add the TR to a queue there would be 2 reasons.
1. If u have imported a TR into a system say QTY and it needs to be re imported, then we delete it fromthe STMS queue and add it again to re import it.
2. If u have some transport from external sap system to be imported here we place the data and Co files in the trans directory and then add the TR to this queue.
A TP failure happens if the data and co files does not exist in the TP directory or else, the TR target system is incorrectly mentioned.

Dear Anand,
Please go to Tcode:SM59,select the [email protected] rfc under ABAP Connections and check for the connection test.
In the Log on tab(when you double click [email protected])check for the user which is mentioned there.
If you get same RFC error when you do the connection test,the proper RFC authorization should be given to the user mentione in the log on tab in the satellite system.

RFC error in idoc to file scenario in PI 7.0

I am getting a RFC error message like this below

Here Z_XI_SEND_MAIL is a customised function module which is calling some classes. This function module is responsible for sending emails to a group of people. This function module is working fine in acceptance server and development server but throwing exception in production. Thus the users are unable to receive emails. There has been no code changes in the function module. Idocs are being triggrred from sap r/3 system into XI, then being processed by a BPM, finally RFC (Z_XI_SEND_MAIL ) is being called to send email messages. SXMB_MONI is showing that the email message is being send to the RFC properly but communication channel is showing the above mentioned error.
Please suggest me what might be the reason of such errors?

Have you tested the production data in your acceptance system or development system for the interface?
Is it working fine??
It seems that the function module is generating exception, which could be due to data.

Hi,
Please check if its Remote Enabled. The FM ARCHIVOBJECT_CREATE_FILE is a normal function module and not remote enabled.
As you have said, RFC error, I assume you are trying to call the FM from a different system specifying the DESTINATION
option.

I have seen many threads but none of the thread is solved my problem.

I think this is not able to contact the domain controller.
But I can see the checks are fine from checking the transport directory.

All of these errors are only pointing to a time out. I cannot figure out why this is happening. I checked the TMS RFC connection in SM59 and they are fine. I have been able to work around this issue in 2 different ways. First, I can delete the files in the "\trans\tmp" directory on the server. Sometimes this resolves the error. Else I have to restart the system.
I need to understand where this issue is coming from and how to resolve it. It is becoming more and more frequent. Thank you for your help!

i have had similar issues during this week. After looking for a solution everywhere i found out that i didn't set up the FQDN on this system.
Symptoms were:
se38 > RSTPTEST timed out sometimes(not always)
sm59 > TCP/IP connections > CALLTP_WindowsNT > test connections timed out sometimes (again, not always)
STMS Overview > Systems: I was not always able to distribute and activate configuration from the Domain controller via Extras > Distribute and Activate Configuration (it died on the mentioned system)
Transports failed mostly with the same error.
The error log was somewhere deep in ST11. It could not resolve our FQDN.
The solution, for me, was to add our FQDN to the WINDIR\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
We upgraded the kernel as well (from 7.20 patch 046 to most current) but this didn't help.
The FQDN is a concatenation of computer name and dns suffix of the network (if you have none, you can add one via rightclick on the used network adapter>ipv4>properties>Advanced>DNS tab, so in the end the host file looked like
127.0.0.1 localhost computer-name.ourSuffix.com
After this line has been added, the error stopped and the transports work again.

You are right. The problem was releated with secstore. I found a SAP note ( Note 1532825 - Deleting SECSTORE entries during system export/system copy). I created the program which ise mentioned in the note and than run it. After that everything seems ok now.

On the PHP Side I use:
- Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 (Sarge)

- PHP4 4.3.10-16
- SAPRFC 1.4.1
- SAP RFC SDK non Unicode 6.20 and 6.40 (The problem occurs in both versions)
Had anyone had sucess using SAPRFC against a Unicode System?

I've just tried your suggestion. I've commented out the CODEPAGE and UNICODE values in my Array and placed:
[code]saprfc_set_code_page($rfc, "4103");[/code]
after the
[code]$rfc = saprfc_open ($LOGIN);[/code]
The error message I get now is:

RFC Error in Webdynpro Abap...

Im Using one FM SRM_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN_VIA_FILE...Inside that Fm it is usng some RFC Connection..while debugging Im getting an internal error in the FM as 'RFC server sapftp cannot be started - 1: Program no longer started via RFC'...
Can Any1 Suggest ME How to resolve it...

Hi Vasavi,
I think this is normal FM, not Remote Enable FM. Check this once. and you are calling from different system.
Thatswhy that error. check your RFC connections once(sm59).
and make sure your FM no where used any GUI related statements like call transaction or call screen.
