Hi Shaik,
Check did u followed this procedure :
     RFC CONNECTIONS
     First log on to SAP R/3 server connections Go to SCC4 in R/3 & in Scc4 BW server. A screen opens in that logical name of the system would be opened in both (R/3 & BW).
     Take notepad in it save .R/3 & BW logical names go to R/3 & click SM59 to create R/3 connections click then a screen opens gives BW logical name in RFC Destination option & give connection. type 3 & give some description & then press enter.
     You will get another screen under it then at target host gives BW server name we will get it from BW logon change ID, IP address option & give the system no. The system no go to logon pad just drag it then you will see the name.
     Then click on log on securities go to log on give BW server details like No, client user Password. Then save it then click test connection tab if there are errors then it gives yellow color if they are no error the whole thing come as white.
     Then click on the Remote Logon then we go to BW server give RFC – SM59 & click create. Then give the server name which is at the bottom right corner give it then give the no, name, password in logon Security save it & test connection & then remote logon.
     R/3  B W  R/3
     Logical connection source system connection is used to transfer the data from R/3 to BW. Go to BW system& click RSA1 go to source system option go to top to the source systems right click on it. Then click create then a screens opens then.
     PC Flat file ,  DB  Database
     Select the option manual then a screen appears RFC Destination, Logical source name then click OK  then it goes to opens other screen save it test connection then remote login then it go back to the then a screen opens then click only activate.
     BW  RS1  SOURCE SYSTEM  CREATE MANUAL AUTOMATIC CELL
     R/3  Test connections login  back  replicate method  active data R/3 Source system you will able to.
     Firstly go to R/3 Server give LBWE 7 click then a screen opens work on SD scales click on maintenance structure.
     Then a screen opens & click continue then another screen opens in that the left side extract structure right side is communication structure.
     Select a table & drag to the other side. It comes & add in the bottom of the list of the extract & click continue then a screen opens click yes then it gives errors in the system.
     Then go to the maintenance structure & make inactive by licking active. In real time if the new system it would be inactive in sand box. Then a new screen opens & give request Id then click continue go to maintenance & opens the table then click RSA3.
     Then go extract checker then give data source. Then click extraction then click continue then go to LBWG to delete the data. Then new screens opens then give the application then click execute.

     SELECTION: By selecting the option. In BW at Info Package data Selection/ External data
     Selection option is used to have a range of specific values to be extracted in your BW system. In real time we use selection option a lot.
     HIDE ONLY: by selection Hide only. Then C password can hide only then we can’t see the password hide field is used to hide the header.
     INVERSION: Multiply the data with the –ve value.
     FIELD ONLY; you want to have calculation based on particular field only. We rarely go with this options.
     Then save it & come back to the main screen LO Data extraction to active just click on inactive then a new screen opens then click continue. Then it is activate.

     Then a screen opens in control of the set up run then give name of the run  termination date automatically in  termination time  execute it.
     Then a screen opens click continue then a screen opens. Then RSA3 then a screen opens give the data source name then you can find the no of records.
     Come back to BW serer come to source system there you can see the server id name. Then another screen opens there through find symbol find the technical name find the table name.
     If is not found then go to materials right click then a pop up screen opens new replica(dump it to R/3  system)  -> in addition to that Communication structure and Extract structure will be added
Then at the file + could be seen. 3 types of version
1)active2)modify 3) Delivery
     On the dat source the file could be seen a right click on it. Then apop up screen opens & select the option Replica data source after this. Take the file right click on it. Then a pop up screen opens then select the option Assign Info Source.
     Then a screen opens then select the option content & click Continue.
     Non SAP systems are known as Legacy System.
     The place which is hard to extract is business content

Can anyone please advise me on how to solve this issue. I don't seem to find any help documentation or helpfull discussions.

    Hello ,
The error could be a customizing error or a bug depending on your BW support package level. Can you please refer to the following SAP notes to see if you can use the information provided in the notes to resolve the problem:

  • RFC Error Received while opening queries from BEx Analiser

    Hi Friends,
We have recently upgraded BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 and installed SAP GUI 710.
When we try to open queries using old 3.5 BEx Analyser, we are getting error ' RFC Error Received '.
strange thing is, it is not happening with all the users. For some users it is working fine and for some users they are getting this error only on first instance when they login after upgrade and this error is not comming from second time onwards with out implementing any corrective actions. Some users are still getiing this error even on second time when they login after upgrade.
We are prety much confident that the authorisation is not an issue here.  Not sure about the GUI.
Pls help me to understand the possible resons for this error and how we can fix it.
    Thanks,
    Nanvakanth

    Morning Experts,
I have the same problem while opening the Query Designer or the WebApplicationDesigner in 3.5 or 7.0 it doesn`t matter....
If I open a query with BEX and go to customize mode of the query --> the querydesigner will be open correctly --> very strange!
Could anybody have a solution for this issue?
    Kind regards

  • How to Extract Error Text from RFC.Exception within BPM?

    Hi,
I have a scenario MPA -> XI <-> RFC.  A synchronous RFC call will be performed inside a BPM on a SAP system.  An exception message is expected if RFC raises exception.  However, there don't seem to be any mechanism that allows logic/step in BPM to extract the error text from the RFC exception message in order to send it out to user as an error alert.
Appreciate if anyone can shed some lights.  Thx in advance.
    Regards
    Chong Wah

    Hi,
you can always wrap your RFC with another one
in which you'll catch the exception
and pass in a normal field back to the XI
and then do the standard as per my weblog:

  • Receiver RFC adapter issue! Please help!

    Hi Experts,
I have 4 XI interfaces. All of these are Webservice to RFC scenarios. Moreover all of them are synchronous.
Request message: Webservice (SOAP Adapter) ---> XI -
    > RFc Adapter ---> ECC Function modules
Response message: Webservice (SOAP Adapter) <- XI < RFc Adapter <- ECC Function modules
As you can see above, external system calls XI web service via SOAP Adapter. The input data is then sent from SOAP Adapter to RFC adapter to call RFC function module in the receiving side.  The receiving system is SAP ECC system.
The receiver ECC system has two instances. For example SP0 ad SP1.
In the receiver determination step we have maintained a rule such that if the Plant value in the input message is XYZ then send data to SP0. But if the plant value in ABC then send data to SP1.
This Conditional rule is working fine.
However we are getting couple of issues with only one instance of ECC (SP0).

    3. com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: No response available
The above listed errors are generated occasionally. Sometimes no errors are generated even when the same input data is sent again and message is successfully processed.
I have verified the input data and everything is OK with that.
Mapping object is available in XI and cache was also refreshed. I additionally reactivated the objects in XI as well.
So what could be the real root cause of this? Please help!
    Thanks

Check the Timeout parameter of your adapter.....for requests which expire with this error confirm from the SAP end that the message processing is done well within the Timeout period of the adapter.
Refer this note for more info on the above occuring error and the possible way to avoid it: https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/791379
    Update:
Even problem 3 seems to be occuring due to insufficient Timeout specified for the adapter.....if possible try increasing the Timeout in VA

  • RFC error when trying to add transport request in queue in STMS..

    Hi,
When I try to add a Transport request in queue in STMS transaction. I get RFC error saying some problem with tp program.
But when I go and check the RFC connection through STMS in system overview -> Communication -> RFC setting, it says RFC connection Ok.
What may be the issue  ? I really need some light on this..
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
At times when u try to add the TR to a queue there would be 2 reasons.
    1. If u have imported a TR into a system say QTY and it needs to be re imported, then we delete it fromthe STMS queue and add it again to re import it.
    2. If u have some transport from external sap system to be imported here we place the data and Co files in the trans directory and then add the TR to this queue.
A TP failure happens if the data and co files does not exist in the TP directory or else, the TR target system is incorrectly mentioned.
    Hope it helps.

  • RFC error text: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'

I am having this error pop up very frequently on some new SAP systems.  This will randomly happen and keep us from being able to release transports and import them in STMS.  I receive the following error:
There was an attempt to start the transport control program tp using the local RFC interface.
    An error occurred here.
    Error code: 4
RFC error text: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'
    - When I check the Transport Tool (STMS: import queue> check> transport tool) I get the following information:
    timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' : cmRc=20 thRc=456#Time
out during connection setup (check that partner exists
    - When checking the TP System Log I receive the same error.  The RSTPTEST report does not give any additional information.  SM21 shows a warning and an error:
    Warning:
Communication Error, CPIC return code 020, SAP Return code 456
    Dialog Process No. 000
Problem cl: SAP web AS problem

    Error Text: 020456
    Caller: ThRecei

    Package: STTO
All of these errors are only pointing to a time out.  I cannot figure out why this is happening.  I checked the TMS RFC connection in SM59 and they are fine.  I have been able to work around this issue in 2 different ways.  First, I can delete the files in the "\trans\tmp" directory on the server.  Sometimes this resolves the error.  Else I have to restart the system.
I need to understand where this issue is coming from and how to resolve it.  It is becoming more and more frequent.  Thank you for your help!

    Hi,
i have had similar issues during this week. After looking for a solution everywhere i found out that i didn't set up the FQDN on this system.
    Symptoms were:
    se38 > RSTPTEST timed out sometimes(not always)
sm59 > TCP/IP connections > CALLTP_WindowsNT > test connections timed out sometimes (again, not always)
STMS Overview > Systems: I was not always able to distribute and activate configuration from the Domain controller via Extras > Distribute and Activate Configuration (it died on the mentioned system)
Transports failed mostly with the same error.
The error log was somewhere deep in ST11. It could not resolve our FQDN.
The solution, for me, was to add our FQDN to the WINDIR\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
We upgraded the kernel as well (from 7.20 patch 046 to most current) but this didn't help.
The FQDN is a concatenation of computer name and dns suffix of the network (if you have none, you can add one via rightclick on the used network adapter>ipv4>properties>Advanced>DNS tab, so in the end the host file looked like
    127.0.0.1   localhost   computer-name.ourSuffix.com
After this line has been added, the error stopped and the transports work again.
I hope it helps. Good luck.

  • During PGI for inbound delivery it is giving an error message in ECC6.0

I am getting an error message  during processing a serialized production order through one custom transaction. In that program FM BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE is used to create inbound delivery . After the inbound delivery is created it is giving  error messages
'System status ESTO is Active (EQUXXXXXX)'
'Check the status of the Serial Number XXXXXXX'
'Serial Number cannot be used here'
'Termination of goods issue posting of delivery item XXXXX'
and it does not create the PGI for the delivery.
I have done the same steps in 4.7 system but did not get any error and posting of goods issue has also done successfully but in ECC6.0 system I am getting this error from BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
If anyone have faced this issue in ECC6.0 then please help.....

ESTO means "in the warehouse".  Looks like you may be trying to receive a serial no. you already have received?

  • Replication of storage loaction issue from crm to ecc

    HI Experts ,
I am facing issue while store location replication from CRM to ECC.
I have create field "Hub Location" using AET  on web  ui and behind that store  location search field is working .
I have already created a Order . I have copied that order .Add store location .
When i save Now all process executed and BDOC execute successfully with no error .
I have enhanced BADI data exchange and add code in method crm_dataexchange_after_fill method and added store location .
Issue : Now when i go-to to crmd_order transaction and checked that order then i am getting error that Store location plant is not defined .
    Please help .
    Regards ,
    Rishi

    Hi Rashi,
    Sorry for the late reply.
Goto ECC system and find the FM "BAPI_SALESDOCU_PROXY_UPLOAD" and set the break point using your RFC user id (RFC user id from CRM to ECC and RFC user id should have the debug rights).
Once you create the order in CRM and it will come to debug in ECC.
Check TI_EXTENSION_IN tables whether your values are coming in.
If not your CRM Middleware BADI coding was not done correctly.
    Hope this would help you.

    Bala

  • STMS: RFC error: Error when opening an RFC connection

    Hello ,
I was wondering if you could help me with this TMS issue.
The transport system is not working properly.
    The fallowing error is shown:
Could not start transport control program tp
RFC error: Error when opening an RFC connection
There was an attempt to start the transport control program tp using the local RFC interface. An error occurred here.
      Error code: 3
RFC error text: Error when opening an RFC connection
    Meaning of the error codes:
      03  RFC system failure
      04  RFC communication failure
    System Response
The function terminates. Details about the error can be found in the trace file of the Gateway Monitor (SMGW).
    Procedure
Contact your system administrator or use report RSTPTEST to localize the error. You can then execute the command again.
When I test the tp tools:
tp Call and RFC Ping: Error when opening an RFC connection
Another thing would be that when testing the RFC connection CALLTP_Linux I have the error:
ERROR: user XXX  is not authorized to start TP /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS53/exe
And I have to say that the user has maximum authorizations.
I also checked the permissions of the tp at OS level but everything seems to be ok.
Can you help me with this?
    BR,
    Manoliv

    Dear Manoliv,
Firstly please check if you have enough space in /usr/sap/trans file system.
If OK, please run RSTPTEST report from SE38 and check the log file in SMGW => Goto => Trace => Gateways => Display file
    and paste the log here.
Also, I assume filesystem permissions are OK.
    Regards,
    Sujit.

  • Transact RFC error

    Hi Gurus,
I am getting one issue while loading the data thru infopackage.
While loading the data in 3.5 flow for some souce system it is taking long time
and givig me transact RFC error. I have checked the source system connectivity and it is fine.Although  the status is yellow during the load but at the end of the load it turns to red and it gives me below mentioned error:
Missing data packages for No selection information arrived from the source s
    Diagnosis
Data packets are missing from No selection information arrived from the source s. BI processing does not return any errors. The data transport from the source system to BI was probably incorrect.
    Procedure
Check the tRFC overview in the source system.
You access this log using the wizard or following the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> Source System".
    Error handling:
If the tRFC is incorrect, resolve the errors listed there.
Check that the source system is connected properly to BI. In particular, check the remote user authorizations in BI.
Kindly let me know your suggestion in this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
This error would normally occur, if at the time of processing, the data packets get stuck
To check for stuck trfc follow the path
Environment -> Transact. RFC -> Source System
there, check if trfc recorded, then it means, it is stuck, slecect that particular record and press F6 to execute the LUW.
If this is not the case, check the job overview in the source system.
IF you find ARFCSTATE = loading/sysfail, it means the trfc is stuck ..
you can check the datapacket number from there, and try mannual update for those partiular data packets.
Or else, sometimes, the packet itself doesnt arrive in BW, because of connection problem during the processing of few packets, ands later when you check, it seems fine.
In such cases simply repeat the load
    Hope this helps

  • UI Attributes - RFC error when displaying PCR with Adobe forms

    Hello All,
I am receiving an UI Attributes/RFC error when I display a PCR that was created wth Life Cycle Designer. I copied it from a delivered SAP form. I am using the QISR1 Badi to process the form. I have three other forms that are working correctly.
If anyone can provide some direction into resolving this, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hello All,
I was able to resolve this issue by setting a UI Attributes variable.
    Thanks
