Rfc log on failed user SAPSYS

Hi,
We are getting below alerts
RFC/CPIC logon failed Reason=24 Type=R
client:000
user:SAPSYS
Also
RFC/CPIC logon failed Reason=1 Type=S
client:000
user:SAPSYS
what is the diff between these two alerts and what is the reason for getting this.
Regards,
ARNS.

Thank you too much Rob,
But I am not able to find the answer for my case.
What I understod from the post is:
for using LDAP authentication for ciscopca, we will have to import users
from LDAP integration.
For me I do not care ( I just need to login, whether I used CUCM passwords , AD or Local I jsut need to login in any method )
but the actual scenrio is both CUCM nad CUC are integrated with LDAP and I IMPORT USERS FROM LDAP. I belive that I have problem with authintication throw LDAP ( I am not sure)
Is there any way to login using Local Passwords I do not need LDAP.
and what I should tupe to login shall I add the domain to username or no? In unity there is a feiled to enter the domain, what about Connection??

    Hi Ychinnari,
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, as
Vaishu00547 mentioned that the issue can be caused by the Execution Account you have configured in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not correct, Please update the Username and Password and restart the reporting services.
Please also find more details information about when to use the execution account, if possible, please also not specify this account:
This account is used under special circumstances when other sources of credentials are not available:
When the report server connects to a data source that does not require credentials. Examples of data sources that might not require credentials include XML documents and some client-side database applications.
When the report server connects to another server to retrieve external image files or other resources that are referenced in a report.
    Execution Account (SSRS Native Mode)
If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

  • The user profile service: Service failed the log on. User profile can not be loaded.

I am running a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain. with 2 domain controllers.
Every new account created in active directory does not seem to work. Even if the account it copied from one that does still work, it still gives the same error when logging in on a network computer (windows 7). "The user profile service: Service failed
the log on. User profile can not be loaded."
I have looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215, which unfortunately does not help. Especially since the SID is not there because the user has not managed to log on yet.
    The
"Do not logon users with temporary profiles" Group Policy setting is not configured.
And I have tried force replication too.
I have exhausted all my knowledge.
    Please help

    Steven DeSalvo

    Hi StevenDE2012,
Based on the error message "The report server has encountered a configuration error. Logon failed for the unattended execution account. (rsServerConfigurationError)", it seems that the Unattended Execution Account settings in Reporting Services
    Configuration is not correct.
Reporting Services provides a special account that is used for unattended report processing and for sending connection requests across the network. Unattended report processing refers to any report execution process that is triggered by an event rather than
a user request. The report server uses the unattended report processing account to log on to the computer that hosts the external data source. This account is necessary because the credentials of the Report Server service account are never used to connect
to other computers. To configure the account, please refer to the following steps:
Start the Reporting Services Configuration tool and connect to the report server instance you want to configure.
On the Execution Account page, select Specify an execution account.
Type the account and password, retype the password, and then click Apply.
In addition, please verify you have access to the Report Server database by following steps:
Go to SQL Server Reporting Services Configuration Manager, make sure the configuration is correct.
Go to Database, Verify that you can connect to the database.
Make sure you are granted public and RSExecRole roles.
    Reference:
    Configure the Unattended Execution Account
Configure a Report Server Database Connection
If the problem is unresolved, i would appreciate it if you could give us detailed error log, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
    Thanks,

  • MSI file installation fails on computers with logged-in restricted users

I'm trying to package Flash Player 8b for silent distribution
via Microsoft SMS. My package works correctly on computers where a
logged in user is either a local Administrator or Power user, but
fails with an error on computers where the logged in user has no
such rights. The SMS package is set to install with administrative
rights. The computers are Windows 2000 SP4 and Windows XP SP2
workstations. I only have the problem with Windows XP SP2, but
those computers are the only ones without priviledged users. I've
confirmed that computers with logged-in administrative users work
properly, like my own Windows XP machine.
    The installer I'm using is
"install_flash_player_active_x.msi" and the version is "8,0,24,0".
The digital signature is dated "Friday, March 31, 2006 12:45:10
PM". I am led by other posts to believe that this is the most
current version and that I shouldn't be having these problems with
    it.
The error that is reported in the log files is:
1: ISMsiServerStartup Failure, Failed to Initialize script
    support, Error = 0x80070006
I'm using a Visual Basic script in my SMS package. It
attempts to run the "uninstall_flash_player.exe" uninstaller to
remove old versions, then tries to run the installer. It uses the
    following command line:
    install_flash_player_active_x.msi /log
    %systemroot%\temp\flash_msi.log /qn allusers=2
    reboot=reallysuppress
Originally I did not include the "allusers=2
reboot=reallysuppress", but I was having another error and various
Macrovision and InstallShield support sites suggested that addition
as a fix. That error was "Internal error 2103. 26".
Any ideas? Should this really be so hard to package and
    distribute?

I did find a solution to this odd problem. It does seem to be
a dcom priveledges issue. I suspect the reason it isn't seen on
pre-sp2 is because Microsoft made some changes to post xp-sp2 to
tighten security. So ISSCript is called via dcom. Installsheilds
default runas is "Interactive User" somewhere between SMS client
running as user with admin rights causes this to break. I found
that if you remove the runas string it will execute in whatever
security context the program that called is running in. Since the
SMS client has full control of the machine it works. I've attached
a script that basically makes an array of dcom appid using wmi,
removes the ones that don't have the column "InstallShield
InstallDriver" in them - store those in a an array then remove the
runas line from each. I actually found this script on the
InstallShield site - I left the credits intact
    - however I've already thought of a few ways to
    improve on this script.
The other problem is that Flash Player 8 installs the
InstallSheild Driver version 10 on launch - which effectively
restores the runas string. So I found there's a custom action
    called "EngineStartup.4F635B62_07BF_4779_B74E_D80C29D508E3" - to
disable this I simply made a transform and removed this row in the
InstallExecuteSequence table. Then it all works
Keep in mind - if your target machines do not have Install
Shield Driver 10 on them you'll need to install that in your script
before installing Flash Player 10. To do this make a transform for
isscript10.msi and remove the Registry601 row - so it does not
create the runas key on install.
Or... You could just do the install as system
    - and forget this whole thing ever happened.

    HI,
Check the SQL Reporting services account that is used, the one that you supplied when setting up the SQL Reporting Services point in the Configuration Manager 2012 console, it seems to be locked out.
I believe it has been asked once before on the forums as well.

  • EWA Configuration... DUMPS... user SAPSYS

    Hi,
I have setup the EWA report to my sandbox. Report is generating fine. I did all the setup from my own user which has S_RFC, S_RFCACL, & S_TCODE Objects. I have SAP_ALL  Authorization. Everything is working fine. sandbox is generating early watch reports fine. But the problem is I am getting DUMPS in my Sandbox everyhour in 33 mins... and its dumping sooo many times. I had 147 dumps yesterday. Here is the Dump Log (ST22)
User "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ".
    What happened?
The user "SAPSYS" attempted to execute a function module from
the function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ", but does not have the appropriate
    RFC authorization.
    Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSCUST_SYS_INFO" had to be terminated because one
    of the
    statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
    What can you do?
The user "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for the function group
"SCUST_SYS_INFO ". Please contact your system administrator to give you
the RFC authorization for the required function groups (e.g. "SCUST_SYS_INFO
The RFC authorization object is S_RFC.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
Now i dont understand that from where this user came up SAPSYS in client 000... and we dont use client 000. strickly not allowed. I didnt use this user when generating RFS's.... Everything I did using my own user.
Please help ASAP. it is very critical...
    Thanks,
Points will be posted for sure!!!

    Hi,
    Those are the following RFC's I am using;
    In Solman: SM_XXXCLNTXXX_READ- user: Blank
                     SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TMW - user: Blank
SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED - user: RFC-it has all the other rfc permissions as well as the you've provided me.
In CRM:    SM_XXXCLNTXXX_BACK - user: SOLMANXXX
SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED- user: checked on Current user
Please currect me if I am wrong. I think In solution manager, the user for xxxREAD should be SOLMANSMP001 which is standard under my other system when I go to sm59..
and for XXX_TMW, I should have user: SOLTMWSMP001...
Please correct me If I am wrong.
Thanks, I really appreciate your help

    Hi Davide,
Please try out below mentioned steps
Set the USER Environment Variable u2018auth_shadow_upgradeu2019 to u20181u2019 for the <SID>adm user (set the variable while logged in as that user)
Change the Shadow Instance service to run with the <SID>adm account

    Start the Shadow Instance
Continue the EHPI process from where it left off
    Hope this helps.

  • RFC_NO_AUTHORITY  error for user SAPSYS in client 000

    Hi
I have a lot of abap dumps in ST22 RFC_NO_AUTHORITY  error for user SAPSYS in client 000 for today which I'm not sure what they mean.  I don't have a SAPSYS user in client 000.
The reason that I'm concerend is we had an incident with the SAP server last night where it became unresponsive about 2.30 am and had to be manually rebooted this morning. The R3 jobs all ran OK but the BW loads failed and had to be re-run this morning. There were no unusual jobs or programs running last night and the Server Event Log does not contain any further information as to the probable cause of the problem.
I'm not sure if this error is related to the BW jobs running and was wondering did anyone come accross it and what it means.
    Thanks

    Hi,
No i am not running SAPEHPI from remote host. it is a local installation. ERP6.0(IE1) is an IDES system with EHP3.
During the Conflict_check phase installer programme accesses RFC Destination "SERVER_EXEC" and "EPS_CLIENT".
    SERVER_EXEC had some wierd entry.
    Destination: SERVER_EXEC (handle: 2, , )
    Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c : 1501
    CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=20 thRc=497
Unable to determine host address: NiHostToAddr failed
    DEST =SERVER_EXEC
    HOST =iwdfim01
    PROG =/usr/sap/T3A/SYS/exe/run/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec
SERVER_EXEC had different path of the program rfcexec "PROG =/usr/sap/T3A/SYS/exe/run/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec" and i changed it to "/usr/sap/IE1/SYS/exe/uc/NTAMD64/rfcsdk/bin/rfcexec". after this RFC was working fine but the conflict _check again failed with the same error.
This time RFC EPS_CLIENT had errors:
    Destination: EPS_CLIENT (handle: 2, , )
    Error RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR in abrfcpic.c : 1501
    CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=19 thRc=497
Unable to determine host address: NiHostToAddr failed
    DEST =EPS_CLIENT
    HOST =q4de3gsy207
    PROG =/bas/BIN/gen/dbg/hp/epc
    GWHOST =hs0305
    GWSERV =sapgw95
so i changed the GWHOST to q4de3gsy207  and GWSERVER: sapgw00.
    what this program does =/bas/BIN/gen/dbg/hp/epc
    the test connection fails
    but the problem persists.
i dont know from where it is accessing the hostname :iwdfim01

  • Abt RFC & FTP---- RFC to SAPFTP failed (urgent)

    Hi all,
my program is working fine when i execute it in SAP GUI.
in this program i need to send some local file to FTP server from presentation server.
actually we have a scanner through which we can scan the barcode data from barcode label.this scanner is connected to  sap test server through web console.
so ,i can see the sap screen on the screen of scanner for this perticular transaction.
after scanning a barcode, the barcode data comes to scanner.when i execute this report on the scanner, it is showing the error---- RFC to SAPFTP failed.
where as this same report is working very fine on the SAP server.it can send my file from presentation server to FTP server located at some other place.
web console is installed so i can connect scanner to SAP for this perticular transaction through web.i think, to execute on scanner is same as execute on sap server.
This error comes while executing a Function module FTP_CONNECT which is present in my program.

Well may be the reason is that you are running report from SAP console.
SAPFTP is just an RFC destination which is actually pointing to an exe file on your frontend. filename is 'sapftp' and it is installed with your GUI frontend installation. May be while running through web console it is having problems accessing this file.
As a solution, why don't you use the rfc destination for the application server. It is called SAPFTPA. So instead of ws_download, you can save the file on application server through OPEN dataset ... ABAP commands. Than from application server ftp it using the same logic as it is in existing program. Just be sure to use the rfc destination SAPFTPA.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers.

  • How to read Update log/RFC Log IN SMSY programatically ?

    Hi all,
In SMSY we have option to look at <b>update log/RFC Log</b> which shows the connection status for each RFC connection. there are cases where the connection has failed and we get logs as shown below
Start of automatic data capture with source 'RFC_CALL'
Start of data capture for system 'A1D'
    Get clients for system 'A1D'
Clients for system 'A1D' found in RFC destination 'SM_A1DCLNT010_READ'
Get software components for system 'A1D'
Software components for system 'A1D' found in RFC destination 'SM_A1DCLNT010_READ'
Determine the installed Support Packs for the system 'A1D'
Support Packs for system 'A1D' determined by RFC destination 'SM_A1DCLNT010_READ'
    Get clients for system 'A1D'
Clients for system 'A1D' found in RFC destination 'SM_A1DCLNT010_READ'
Get server and instances for system 'A1D'
Server for system 'A1D' found in RFC destination 'SM_A1DCLNT010_READ'
Start of data capture for system 'AAE'
    Get clients for system 'AAE'
Clients for system 'AAE' found in RFC destination 'SM_AAECLNT010_READ'
Get software components for system 'AAE'

Determine the installed Support Packs for the system 'AAE'
Support Packs for system 'AAE' determined by RFC destination 'SM_AAECLNT010_READ'
    my question is:
    1) what does these logs signify
    2) how to read these logs in program and based on what selection
    need ur inputs on this....
    Best regards,

    Hi,
You tried to backup redo log on disk.
Option -cds (create second copy, delete and the first copy serial) is not supported when you do a redolog backup using disk as backup device type.
Try to change the option to -sd (save first copy and delete)

  • About user sapsys

    Dear expert,
I read some message about user sapsys. However, i still could not understand the concept or running mechanism.
please give me a clear explanation. where can i find this user ? why was there such user sapsys in sm50?.
      thank you very much.

    HI,
Sapsys is used for internal purpose in SAP server and is not harmful. But if it increases it can be logged off as well. But in many cases sapsys is used for OS jobs, CCMS monitoring hence it may impact if not handled carefully
SAPSYS is a group. It's used for DEV - QA - PRD to share files (especially /usr/sap/trans), for <SID>adm and ora<SID> to talk to each other and share files also.
SAPSYS is a user group name in sap os .SAPSYS is an internal communication user, which access the tables from the dictionary and give access to the users.
    Check in SM21 and ST02,
    Thanks
    Ramakrishna.
