    hi
I have a problom in this scenario

Where as when i give the same input in the R3 and debug the RFC i get 50 records ,

    Hi! Sandeep,
I have some sugessions and I hope it will be useful to you.
    1. First delete that RFC and re Import that RFC again
    2. Again make sure once importing the RFC a;; fields
    3. After that do CACHE Refresh of all teh Integratiob Builder Objects once
    4. Also do mapping mainly response mapping clearly and very carefully okay
Please follow the below blog and I hope it will be useful to you.

  • Issue in File to RFC to File Scenario with BPM using Block Step

    Hi Everybody,
I am doing File to RFC to File Scenario for multiple records using BPM using Block Step. The File Message is getting posted and after that, the message is getting stuck up in the qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue).
After seeing the message in Inbound Queue, I am trying to execute and release the message. But when i execute the LUW, it says " Function module doesnt exist or EXCEPTION raised" in Inbound queue.
Could somebody suggest me the outcome of this? What does this mean and how to
release the stuck up message in Queue.
    Thanks and Regards,
    N.Jayanth Kumar

    Hi Rajesh,
After going through the blog, i saw the trace messages. It says
" The   exception occurred (program: CL_SWF_XI_INBOUND=============CP, include CL_SWF_XI_INBOUND=============CM00F, line: 19)"

  • File-To-RFC without using BPM

    hey guys
is a File-To-RFC scenario possible without using BPM? i have gone through the blog by Arpit Seth ( /people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit ) but it uses BPM.
i am new to XI and not very comfortable with BPM.
please let me know if BPM is the only way out or are there some other methods too.
Also under what circumstances one should use BPM?
    thanx in advance.

    Hi,
it's a standard non BPM scenario
(you can find many weblogs like this)
the only different thing is the RFC signature import
    (inside repository)
and the use of different channels (file and RFC)
you can find many examples in my XI FAQ
    (document section)

  • Step by step File to RFC Scenario with BPM

    hi
for the following scenario i m following the webblog
    /people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit
i have successfully created the design phase
    in the configuration stage
i need to create a business system or business service will do to create the communication channel
i have not created the systems so i feel i should not create the business systems
i would like to create the business service
so in only one business service can i assign all the communication channel
    useful answers will be rewarded
    Regards
    JM

There are 3 parts of communication: Sender service to Integration Process (Asynch.), Integration Process to RFC (Synch.), Integration Process to Receiver Service (Asynch.)
The configurations should be like as follows:
    <b>Sender Service to IP</b>
    Receiver determination:
Sender Service->Request Outbound Message Interface->Integration Processs.
    Interface Determination:
Sender Service->request Outbound Message Interface->Integration Process->Request Outbound Abstract Interface. (No interface Mapping is required as the interfaces share the same structure.)
    Sender Agreement:
    Sender Service->request Outbound Message Interface->Integration Process->Request Outbound Abstract Interface>FileRFC_Send
    <b>IP to RFC</b>
    Receiver determination:
Integration Process->Request Outbound Abstract Interface->Business service.
    Interface Determination:
Integration Process->Request Outbound Abstract Interface->Business service->RFC Structure->Corresponding Interface Mapping between file structure and RFC structure.
    Receiver Agreement:
    Integration Process->Request Outbound Abstract Interface->Business service->RFC_Receiver
    <b>IP to Receiver Service:</b>
    Receiver determination:
Integration Process->Response Inbound Abstract Interface->Business service.
    Interface Determination:
Integration Process->Response Inbound Abstract Interface->Business service->Response Inbound Message Interface. (No interface Mapping is required as the interfaces share the same structure)
    Receiver Agreement:
    Integration Process->Response Inbound Abstract Interface->Business service->FileRFC_Receive.
    Hope you find this useful.

  • BPM error (Rfc to file scenario)

    Dear Experts,
I'm doing a RFC-FILE scenario with BPM. I have followed the blog RFC Scenario using BPM --Starter Kit by Arpit Seth.
The file is getting picked up. But in SXMB_MONI i get the following error:

  • Issue in Sync-Async bridge(RFC to File) scenario

    Hi All,
My scenario id RFC to file synchronous scenario.Following the below link, I configured everything and its working fine. I am working on SAP PI 7.31 Dual Stack.
    http://scn.sap.com/blogs/henrique/2007/08/02/syncasync-scenarios-without-bpm
As mentioned in the above link, I created the file with Message Id as file name and correlating with the message id(Using WaitResponse and Notify beans). Its working fine. But I don't want the file name to be as Message Id. Then in that case, please suggest me how can I correlate the request and response messages. What are the possible ways of doing it.
    Thanks,
    Madhurima

there is not a best way, just what you need to archive, take the file name as you mentioned is not the best practice, so you can use another parameter provided by SAP.
To evaluate the following attributes in the PI message header, set the corresponding indicators:
    ○  File Name (technical name: FileName)
    ○  Directory (technical name: Directory)
    ○  File Type (technical name: FileType)
    ○  File Encoding (technical name: FileEncoding)
do any of them are good for you?

  • File - BPM - BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAILS File

    Hi,
    I'm in a little trouble...
I had a working scenario with File -> BPM -> BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAILS -> File as found in a Blog.
The first file contains one company code and the RFC sync call gets the details and then sends the info back in a file.
To get closer to my final scenario, I enhenced this scenario qith having in the first file, multiple instance of the CompanyID (I created a special DataType, Message Type, .. for that) then in my BPM, I started with the receive step, then a transform 1 to N and then a bloc foreach that included the Sync RFC call and the send call as before.
My trouble is that now the RFC call sends me back an error (with same companyID then before)
    Type - Code - Message
    E - FN030 - Company 1 does not exist
but if I do the BAPI call with SE37, I get the correct results...
Has any one an idea ? It keeps me mad from this morning !
    Thx in advance!!
    Cheers

  • File To RFC To File

    Hi All,
I am trying to do File To RFC To File using BPM.
I am following the given link.
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1926. [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
I did exactly same .But it is showing error as "RED" in the workflow as I checked it in sxmb_moni.
I am very new to BPM.
Can anyone please help me solve this.
    Thanks
    Rabi

    Hi All,
    Thanks to you.
    My problem is solved now.
I checked by using tcode SXMB_MONI_BPE which is showing error as "Object CL_SWF_XI_MSG_BROKER method SEND_SYNCHRON cannot be executed".
"No handler defined for this system exception".
So I checked all channels in RWB.
Problem was in my receiver RFC channel configuration.
I corrected it and it is solved.
    Thanks

  • Regarding RFC to FIle

    Hi Everyone,
Would anyone Please give me steps for  RFC to File Scenario.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Varun

    1) Create synch interfaces 4r source and target.
For RFC while creation of interface
    input msgtype - Request msg
    output msgtype - Response msg
    2) Create 2 msg mappings.
    inputmsgtype(file)----> Requestmsgtype(RFC)
    Responsemsgtype(RFC)--->outputmsgtype(file)
    3) Create 1 interface mapping choosing synch interfaces on
    src and tgt side.
-->you ll get two tabs here request and response.
-->Click on request nd specify 1'st mapping
--> Click on response nd specify the 2nd mapping.

  • RFC Scenario using BPM

I did whatever mentioned in that blog(/people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit). Also I do have some experience in BPM.
After testing I don't see the file inthe outbound directory. So I started analysing from all sides.
    1. First checked the message in my sxi_monitor, it black and white flag showed that the message processed successfully.
    2. I opened the message and saw the message from CENTRAL Client passed to PE ADAPTER Client with tooltip showing "Transfer to Process engine".
    1. First I checked whether my BPM is correct by pressing F7. There is no syntax error.
    2. I checked in sx_cache, the ReturnCode was 0.
    3. In smq2 I saw a message stuck in the PE queue. I double clicked the queue and saw the status text as "Permanent error in BPE inbound processing".  So I kept debugging by pressing F8 and after that the message got disappeared.
    4. I opened the message in sxi_monitor, and after the CENTRAL Client the message passed to PE ADAPTER, which measn the meesage has got transferred to process engine. But i'm not seeing any change in the file.
    5. Also what I      did was use transaction SXMB_MONI and chose process radio button and execute. Located my message but there is no task value which starts with 'WS..' in Process def column.
Can you please pinpoint where i went wrong and anything else?
One more thing, everytime i test the new file the file goes and gets stuck in the queue and I have got to follow the item 3 mentioned above.
    Thanks,

Hi Kishore,  The second block is a synchronous send block in the BPM triggers the call to RFC.  I've done it as per the blog.  There is no transformation step in the BPM.  Anyway I fixed the issue. In the receive block whatever container value I used should be used in the send block also. Earlier I was getting some warning. Now my BPM is clean and it worked.
Lesson learnt: Ensure there is no warning in the BPM. Thanks again Kishore.

  • Regarding RFC to RFC to FILE

    Hi,
I am Doing RFC to RFC to FILE. I want to execute RFC to RFC and I want to get RFC response to FILE.
1)Do I need to Define BPM for theScenario.
    2) Should I configure Sync- Async Bridge for the above scenario.
2)For RFC's we do not ceate any Interfaces, then for RFC should I define Abstract Message Intergaces to use in BPM.
    3) In order to get the RFC response to FILE, Shd I define Mapping between RFC response and File.then what would be the Interface Mapping?
    Regards,
    Varun

    Hi Varun,
Sync/async communication enables a synchronous sender system to communicate with a receiver system that cannot process synchronous messages.
The central component of sync/async communication is the sync/async bridge, which enables the Integration Server to receive synchronous messages from a sender and send them to a receiver as asynchronous messages. Conversely, it can send the asynchronous response from the receiver back to the sender as a synchronous response.
To do this, you define an integration process, which is started as soon as a synchronous message is received from the sender system. The process uses a special receive step to open the sync/async bridge, sends the received message to the receiver system asynchronously, and waits for the asynchronous response to arrive from the receiver.
The Business Process Engine receives the asynchronous response from the receiver, correlates it with the corresponding query, and activates the waiting process, which then sends the response back to the sender synchronously.
1)Do I need to Define BPM for theScenario.
    Yes
    2) Should I configure Sync- Async Bridge for the above scenario.
    Yes
2)For RFC's we do not ceate any Interfaces, then for RFC should I define Abstract Message Intergaces to use in BPM.
Just import ur RFC and use it.
    3) In order to get the RFC response to FILE, Shd I define Mapping between RFC response and File.then what would be the Interface Mapping?
Yes.Interface mapping what ever u had done select that.
    Procedure:
SyncReceive – To Receive the payload synchronously from HTTPRequestInt interface
syncSend – To Send the request payload Asynchronously from BPM to the File system
syncReceive – To receive the response payload Asynchronously from Legacy File system to BPM
SyncSend – To Send the response Synchronously from BPM to LegacySystem
