RFC to ISO 20022 xml file scenario

Hello Experts,
I have a scenario in which i need to pull data from SAP and create ISO 20022 xml file.
I have no idea about ISO 20022 xml file format.
Can anybody send me the links which have examples of how to achive that through XI?
Thanks,
Hetal

Hi,
ISO20022 is just a standard for XML messages you can obtain informations here:
http://www.iso20022.org         and
http://www.iso20022.org/catalogue_of_unifi_messages.page
Hope this brings some light in.

  • Regarding receiver determination problem in IDOC-XI-XML file scenario

    Dear All ,
In IDOC-XI-xml file scenario , I have configured SLD , IR . But in ID , after file adapter , reciever agreement configuration when I am doing receiver determination configuration I am not able to insert mapping program in configuration overview of receiver determination as I am not getting "New Specific" option in mapping .
Can anybody suggest what could be the reason behind this .
    Thanks in Advance
    Prabhat

    Hi PRabhat,
In RCVR determination, you need to select the party & service (as appropriate) save the obeject
then refresh the configuration overview of recr det.
then you can see the partner/service
then you can open it & add the necessary objects.

  • IDOC to XML file scenario with party

    Hi All,
I am developing a IDOC to XML file scenario with party in which I have extended the MATMAS idoc and configured the receiver FILE communication channel.
But its giving me the error *"No receiver could be determined"*  with party. If I run the same scenario without the sender party its working fine.
And sender is my R/3 system under party P_Party and receiver is my third party system under P_Party.
    Thanks in advance.
    Gaurang

U can give a try as follows.
In the Partner Profile of Sender R/3 system,
Give the Receiver Party P_Party in the PartnerNo. Give the 'Business Partner' as logical System type.
In XI, Party Definition of P_Party
    Give the following Alternative Identifier
Agency  -   Sender R/3  Business System
    Scheme -   ALE#GP
    Value    -    P_Party

  • ISO 20022 XML CAMT.053 Account Statement support

    Dear all,
We are in the process of changing our electronic banking interface from EDIFACT to ISO 20022 XML, However I have not been able to find any usefull information on support of camt.053 message (Currently we are receiving EDIFACT FINSTA and SWIFT MT940). Does anyone know if SAP intends support of this format equally to MT940 / Multicash, or have experience with CAMT.053 and would like to share what approach has been applied. My initial idea would be convert camt.053 to a supported format e.g. MT940 or MultiCash.
    Brgds T. Kofoed

    Hi Torben
Most probably there will be never ONE CAMT.053 - most of the banks will have their own flavor.
There will be as well some national and regional differences.
CGI ISO20022 want's to develop global standards for PAIN.001 and CAMT.053. As far as I know the CGI standards comprises of +/- 860 mandatory tags and +/- 120 optional tags.
And I already bet today that the +/-120 optional tags will be used heavily!
There are various options you can go for:
    1. develop and defin jointly together with all your corporate banks your specfic CAMT.053 standard
--> time consuming! And what happens if you have to change banks?
    2. use each banks CAMT.053
--> do all your banks support CAMT.053 today?! Do they provide you with all the information you need for reconciliation?
    3. use a service provide and SAP partner like us, which can convert / map all the various bank statements (MT940, CAMT.053, FINSTA, BAI etc.) to one (your) bank account statement format.
Please let me know if you want to discuss further.
You can drop me an E-Mail to [email protected]
    Best regards

  • XML file to XML file scenario

    Hello Experts,
    Have one question.
My scenario is MDM -> PI -> WebSphere.
But its file to file scenario.
MDM has a limitation in which it can either generate file with 1 record or 1 file with all the records.
If it will generate 1 file for 1 record and PI will transfer 1 file for 1 record to WebSphere its difficult for WebSphere to consume it and its time consuming for WS.
If MDM will dump 1 file for all the records then its going to be a very huge file to handle by PI.
So is there any way that i can get 1 record per file from MDM and generate 1 file with 200 records for WebSphere, without BPM?
Bcz with BPM i have to take so many approvals and there is no time for it.
Please let me know the solution if any.
    Thanks,
    Hetal

    Hi hetal,
I agree that MDM sends huge data if they syndicate all records in a single file.
You can take all records in One file format from the MDM side and in the sender channel you can split the recordset per message .You can set 200 records to be processed once. In  the webspher side you can have files created for every 200
records.Second way is to created multiple files in the target using Message mapping itself. Create A udf to count the number of records and if its >or = 200 ,create one set of message. its the same multimapping concept. In targets many files will be created with say 200 records which webshper can process easily.

  • RFC error in idoc to file scenario in PI 7.0

    Hi Experts,
I am getting a RFC error message like this below
:u201D  RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: An exception occurred that was not caught.: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: JCO.Exception while calling Z_XI_SEND_MAIL in remote system (RfcClient[RFC_REJECTION_MAIL]):com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: An exception occurred that was not caught.u201D
Here  Z_XI_SEND_MAIL is a customised function module which is calling some classes. This function module is responsible for sending emails to a group of people.  This function module is working fine in acceptance server and development server but throwing exception in production. Thus the users are unable to receive emails. There has been no code changes in the function module. Idocs are being triggrred from sap r/3 system into XI, then being processed by a BPM, finally RFC   (Z_XI_SEND_MAIL )   is being called to send email messages. SXMB_MONI  is showing that the email message is being send to the RFC properly but communication channel is showing the above mentioned error.
Please suggest me what might be the reason of such errors?
    Regards
    Anupam

    Hello,
Have you tested the production data in your acceptance system or development system for the interface?
    Is it working fine??
It seems that the function module is generating exception, which could be due to data.

  • This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with

    Hi All,
I have IDOC to XML file scenario.
In SXMB_MONI, it showed the message processed successfully (checkered flag).
I open the payload in the target, I'm able to see the XML format without error.
then I checked in RWB the overall status is successful.
But when I checked the detail (message content) I got the following message:
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it".
So physical file created is like corrupted.
If using XML marker to open the file it show warning "Invalid Unicode Sequence".
The thing is when rerun the whole interface again, which is mean the same idoc send from the source, the file created successfully. Sometimes need to rerun twice or more than that to get the file.
Anyone has idea on what is wrong here?
    Thanks,
    Victor.

    Hi Baskar,
    Thanks for your reply.
    It's PI 7.0.
Overall status is successful but when I go to RWB to check the message content i got the error message above.
Target system is only normal FTPS server.
XML file is created as well but it's showing error when we open it.
The weird thing is without fixing anything if we rerun the same interface with same set of data sometimes the error is gone by itself.
    Thanks,
    Victor.

  • Help on FILE to File Scenario

    Hi all,
I am trying to create a simple a XML File TO XML File scenario. Somehow the server is picking up the input file properly but it is not putting the output file properly. When I go to RunTime WorkBench and click on Message Monitoring It shows that 3 messages(I had sent 3 messages) were processed successfully. However the starnge thing is that only sender information is being displayed. No receiver information is showing up. When I click on statistics from SAP XI screen (Integration Engine Monitoring) it shows 3 XML messages are being edited. Also when I try to see for processed messages in transaction SXI_Monitor The message doesn't show up. Does anybody have a clue.

    Hi,
Are you using any content conversion. ithink you are sending XML . so no..
So check the channel monitor -- rwb - component monitor - channel monitor
select your sender CC ,, see the Error.
After see in SXMB_Monitor .if any error occurr , check accordingly , or check in Mapping.
Also take the source of xml payload from sxmb_moni and come back to message mapping and check with that xml, for runtime errors.
So check the channel monitor -- rwb - component monitor - channel monitor
select your receiver CC ,, see the Error.
See the output file is placed or not.

    Hi Sebastian,
You need to start with building the Data Type which corresponds to your Input File.
Refer these blogs for Simple File to File scenarios:

  • IDOC-- PI-- flat xml file

    Hi ,
we are working on a HR IDOC>PI>flat xml file scenario.
    Idoc name is HRMD_A07.
we have consolidated some 10 interfaces together.
    Plan is to,
1)(master interface) get the idoc data into a flat xml file, where flat xml consists of unique fields of all 10 interfaces.
2)Later, use flat xml as input to 10 interfaces, which are FILE>PI>FILE.
we are facing problem in master interface. The data is not coming properly in flat xml.
Can you guys suggest the proper way to do this.
    should we use,
1)abap mapping, with standard functionality to convert idoc to flat file?
2)write a udf to get the proper data?
    pls suggest the best approach.
    san.

    Hi San,
you gave us nearly no details, so it is hard to give you any recommandation.
PI provides 4 general possibilities for mappings:
Graphical: Standard and for simple cases the best solution
XSL: Webstandard, in some cases much less development time compare to graphical (if the message structure changes)
ABAP: For special cases (access to ABAP tables, operations before parsing)
    Java: For special cases

  • No pick and send in File to file scenario

    Dear XI Guru's,
Am a newbee in XI world i have done steps related to XI file to file scenario in my XI system. I have taken help from the following blog.
Step by Step Guide: XML File 2 XML File Scenario: Part I
Step by Step Guide: XML File 2 XML File Scenario: Part II
But my file is not getting picked from the sender folder as my receiver folder is empty always...
Can we put an XMl file instead of DAT file
Please help. where am i going wrong..........

    Hi,
Did you configure the FTP server using this Blog:
Along came a File Adapter, Mr. 'FTP' and Rest of the Gang
if so check whether you have checked all the parameters for the path which you created.
also ensure that as mentioned the blog at the end
"Even though in your local machine you have the folder name as ftproot and the path say C:ftproot, in your file adapter you will refer the same as / . So if you have created subfolders like input and output, in the adapter configuration it would be refered to as /input or /output and not C:ftprootinput or C:ftprootoutput. "
IP address will be the IP address where you have configured the FTP server and not like C:/ftproot/Sender....... as  you mentioned

  • 403 Error Transmitting the message to endpoint for XML file to XML file

    Friends,
This is my 4th day learning XI and getting below issue.
I'm trying to follow the steps to transfer XML file to XML file scenario and when I drop the sender XML file, it seems the file has been picked-up but it does not generate the output file.
I checked in RWB for the message and found below error:
