RFID scenario

Hi
I'm working on a RFID architecture with R/3 <-> XI <-> AII
I create a sales order and  a delivery with picking in R/3 then in AII I perform packing, but when AII sends back IDOC with packing, this IDoc terminates with status 51, Application document not posted: delivery 8003 was not posted.
could you please tell me how to solve this? it is a application issue I think.
thanks to all
Michele

Hi Michele,
I am a small business and trying to get AII. But I just want to know if this is a part of the netweaver package or did you buy that separately ? I do not know if this is the right forum. If not please can you email me at [email protected] ?
Thanks in advance,
Prasad Mavuduri.

  • SAP AII (Auto-ID Infrastructure) to  BizTalk RFID  scenario

    Hi Everyone,
    did some one work on this type of project ....
    This project is <b>to develop a connector between SAP AII (Auto-ID Infrastructure) and BizTalk RFID for handling RFID related activities.</b>
    Quick response would be appreaciated.....
    Cheers,
    Raghavesh

    Hi Raghavesh,
    If you want to use a Connector to communicate between Biztalk and SAP AII..you can use .Net connector available.
    The other way is SAP AII uses XI for Communication...so you can use webservices between Biztalk and XI. The below document should be helpful
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/7521a237-0701-0010-499b-b3285b789c0d
    Use SOAP adapter for  BIZTALK .
    Use  plainHttp adapter for XI .

  • Webservice RFID scenario

    Hi,
    I would like to use Biztalk RFID server as a Device Controller to fetch the data from RFID reader and to create a webservice to send it to SAP AutoId. Is this approach is fine?
    What all basic testing I can do with the use of SAP Auto Id Test Tool for this webservice data?
    Thanks & Regards
    Sara

    Webservices are obliged to use HTTP. No RFID here....

  • How to run RFID on Standard xMAM3.0

    Hi All,
    We are doing enhancements to the standard xMAM3.0 Application. We have to do enhancements to standard RFID functionality. I have downloaded the standard xMAM3.0 from service market place and uploaded to webconsole and then assigned MI Client.
         I could see Partner Management, Order Management, Notification Management etc., but RFID links was not there. I have checked the code in mam_home.jsp, and this link can be display on the home page if RFID is in active position.
        Can any body please tell me, how to activate this RFID to get it run. Do we need to activate this from backend side.
        I just want to run the RFID which is there in standard MAM.
       I have the PDA of

    The usage of MAM RFID scenarios requires mobile devices that support RFID. Currently the devices of psion(netpad with atleast 128 MB RAM) are supported for the use of MAM with RFID. Psion drivers that support the SAP RFID component are available for download at : http://www.psionteklogix.com (Refer note 848799).
    For using MAM with RFID you have to deploy some Addon's on the mobile Device:
    1.  RFiD device .dll driver,(delivered by the hardware provider)
    2.  RFID device .jar files(delivered by the hardware provider)
    3.  SAP RFID MRI (on the MAM installation cd) - SAP Mobile Interface software is required to be installed on the hardware RFID-reader device. Details to deploy the required SAP MRI software are given in note 791037

  • SAP AutoId scenario

    Hi All,
    Could you please tell me how many days it will take to do RFID scenario, if the landscape are ready...
    Landscape : RFID, SAP AutoID, XI and R/3 System.
    Scenario : RFID -> SAP AutoId -> XI -> R/3 System.
    Do we need to do any coding in AutoId?
    Regards
    Sara

    Hi Sara,
               The steps to perform the below mentioned scenario, there is a document availalbe for that on SAP Service Market Place. You need a S-User ID for that.
    Go to
    service.sap.com/rfid --> Detailed Information --> SAP Auto ID 4.0 --> Outbond Processing Business Scenario.pdf
    Delivery Processing.pdf.
    All these above documents will give you each and every step.
    And i am not aware of the SAP XI adapter.
    For RFID integration standard XI Content is availalble for SAP XI that will let you integrate SAP R./3 and SAP Auto ID

  • MAM2.5 RFID Interface Error

    Hello experts,
    i try to configure the RFID scenarios of MAM2.5 and get the following error if i want to start the RFID-Reader from the order-management: "E503 Failed calling event handler(InvocationTargetException) onRFIDInsert in com.sap.mbs.mam.order.control.OrderEditMore."
    I deployed RFID-ADDON as it is described in SAP Note 791037. The mbsrfid.jar is installed in the webapps\MAM25\WEB-INF\lib folder. That seems to be correct,or not? Any ideas what is wrong with my RFID-Interface Installation?

  • RFID integration

    Hi All,
    Could any one please clear some of my Queries regarding RFID integration with ERP
    I have gone through all blogs by John Carlson, Michal, marilyn Pratt, but still I'm not clear about
    1. Can we integrate RFID to ERP with out using AII
    2. Any step by step guides would be really helpfull.
    Cheers,
    Smith

    HI
    1. Can we integrate RFID to ERP with out using AII
    Basically there are 4 scenarios available in AII4.0 version.
    Inbound integration with ERP ERP
    outbound integration with backend ERP
    RTI scenario (for Returnable Tracking Items) and Integration with Kanban(PP).
    For companies that already have deployed a significant infrastructure round ERP,SCM, or CRM solutions, RFID now plays a role in making substantial changes to enhance existing processes.The key RFID-enabling component of SAP NetWeaver is SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII), which forms the gateway for SAP applications into real-world RFID data. SAP AII models and manages RFID processes and provides a business context for raw RFID data. SAP AII works seamlessly with other
    components such as SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure, SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence, and SAP Mobile Infrastructure. SAP also provides several preconfigured, RFID-enabled business processes like supply chain execution, asset management, and product tracking and authentication.
    2. Any step by step guides would be really helpfull.

    Hi,
    here is the coding
      IF error_id CA 'EAX'.
    <b>**** If a non-trivial error_map is active and an error still occurs,
    this indicates a condition syntax error or a system error.</b>    CLEAR temp_result.

              previous = lcx_ifs.
          IF m_last_exception IS NOT BOUND.
            m_last_exception = lcx_exception.
    I would check the condition. First simplify the condition and look if the error still exists.

  • AII - Concept

    Hi Guys,
    We have a production order business process which includes production order, production order confirmation, Despatch advice, goods Receipt etc interfaces. There are 60 Sourcing units across Europe and each sourcing unit has 4 different applications which communicate with ECC for these interfaces. Currently the data is sent to / sent by the ECC system using MQ and XI. We are planning to use AII and the data will then be picked up by AII and sent to XI and XI will crete the data in IDocs in ECC for inbound interfaces. for outbound interfaces, the data will be sent from ECC to XI and then XI to AII and AII to the target application. I have few questions regarding AII capabilities.
    1. Device manager -> what is the role of device manager in non RFID scenario as most of the source applications are not an RFID systems? where would it be placed? would it sit on AII or source application? how would we get the DC?
    2. How the data will be picked by AII from the source applications? currently the data file is picked up by MQ. would AII be able to pick up data from any specified folder?
    3. what are the connectivity options(e.g. File/SOAP/HTTP/ JDBC etc)? Do we need to install ABAP as well as JAVA component of AII or only ABAP component will do ? What is the significance of JAVA component?
    4. How do we monitor AII? Do we have anything like XI-Runtime work bench/SXMB_MONI?
    5. how AII will handle any connectivity failure with either Source application or PI instance?
    6. The AII content which we need to import in XI, would it cater to all possible supply chain interfaces? Can we customize it?
