RFx is getting created by PI User

Dear Experts,
PI instance is required to get data related to PR from ECC to create an RFx in SRM
And we activated the required Sourcing enhancements in PI and we are using XI adapter.
Everything is fine, we are able to create RFx in SRM(CPPR Scenario) without any error.
But the issue is it is showing that as it is getting created by PI user as it is a dialog user required for PI instance.
How can we change this to purchaser userid?

Hello,
By SAP standard SOA communication happens via generic XI user.
However, if you want to change this, what is needed is the Principal Propagation in PI to make sure that same user context is carried throughout.
You should follow the instructions in SAP Help http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/DE/45/345d11a7993446e10000000a
155369/frameset.htm which will make Principal Propagation to work.
Then you need to make one customizing entry which will make sure that communication uses the created by user instead genric XI user.
Go SPRO >Integration with Other mySAP.com Components > Supplier Relationship Management >Message Control > Activate Outbound Messages through qRFC. Next screen make below entries.
Object Type   Event                                  Tech.
BUS2105       RFXREQUESTED                queued Remote Function call (qRFC)
BUS2105       SOURCINGREQUESTED     queued Remote Function call (qRFC)
Add 2nd entry only if you want same behavior with transferring PR also to shopping cart.

We are using ECC 6.0 system. We are facing a typical pronblem. Locks are getting created with ## in the user name field. Because of which updates are not happening. I solved this problenm by applying note 857439 but the problem again occurs after some days (That is locks getting created with ## in user name field)

There's not enough details to get a good understanding of your scenario, but it sounds like you're using some kind of date control to retrieve the date value and pass it to the report's parameter field at runtime. If this is correct, it sounds like the format of the date value from the control may not be what the report is expecting. To debug, I would first use hardcoded values when you set the report parameter fields to see what works. Then compare that to what the return value is from the control to see if they match. I suspect the formats differ. I did a quick search on the BOBJ kbase and found a couple of articles that may help you. I just updated my MacBook pro early 2011 model to OSX 10.9 and was forced to create a new user(administrator) and ended up with a different configuration. If I login with my original user name everything is back. How can I get rid of the other user name?

I have two user names with Administrator privelages and my MacBook keeps booting up to the wrong one and I have the wrong configuration since I updated to OSX 10.9. I would like to get back to my original User name which I used to boot up to. When I go to the User Groups and Preferences it doesn't allow me to delete the un-wanted user.
Does anybody have any suggestions how I can fix this? I can't seem to recover Time Capsule back-ups prior to the OSX upgrade even though I have been faithfully backing up to a Time Machine.

First of all, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options, and set your old user account in "Automatic login". By doing this, your computer will always log in with your old account.
Then, log in your old account, where you will be able to delete the new user that OS X Mavericks forced you to create. Other users have reported the same problem

Your nano would really have nothing to do with it at that point. It is really something between iTunes and whatever server out there on the internet that it is trying to connect to for the update.
Try posting this one in the iTunes forum, they might have a solution for you.

User Exit IDOC creation - When purchase order gets created

Hi All,
The requirement is whenever user creates a Purchase Order in the current SAP system an IDOC needs to get created and be sent to another SAP system where a Sales Order will be created.
Can anybody suggest the correct User exit/enhancement at the time of Purchase order creation which could be used ?
Also the function modules for creating the IDOCs within the user-exit.

Your requirement is SAP standard function which means you don't have to use any user exit.
What you need to do is configure output control, then when a PO saved, a idoc will send to vendor automaticly.
Here is a step brief
1. configure output type in NACE
2. Add condition record in NACE
3. Setup partner profile in WE20

User exit/BADI to change the Accntg doc which gets created during Billing

I am trying to do the following . Is this possible ?
When a delivery related billing document is created an accounting document is created in the background , I want to modify the line items in the accounting document, Just before posting the accounting document.
I am using exit EXIT_SAPLV60B_008 as suggested but I don't see the accounting line items in any of the internal tables in this exit.
My accounting document when it gets created looks like this. And I want to modify one of these lines before the document is posted.

DIAGNOSTIC_DEST directory getting created in $HOME of oracle user accout

DB version:11.1.0.7
OS:     AIX
I have an 11.1.0.7 and 10gR2 database in a machine. During creation of the 11g Database, i had explicitly specified the DIAGNOSTIC_DEST parameter in $ORACLE_BASE. Few days back i've noticed a directory called oradiag_oracle in the $HOME(not $ORACLE_HOME) of the oracle user account. Yesterday i removed it. But soon this directory got created automatically.
Any idea why Oracle is creating this directory in $HOME. I checked the alert log, but this directory is not mentioned there.

It looks like this is for client tracing. I did not see it in 11.1.0.7.0, but am seeing it in 11.2.0.1.0. The directory gets created in your home directory when you make a client connection.
logged in as oracle I get

when logged in as myself I get
/home/jwalker/oradiag_jwalker.
there is a note that explains how you can revert behavior back, but it requires making changes to several config files (not sure it is worth it). Doc ID:      454927.1 -> It references 11.1.0.6.0 but my 11.1 was 11.1.0.7.0 and I don't have this happen there, only on 11.2.

Automatic AD account creation when user gets created in OIM

Dear All,
Currently in my OIM version 9.1.0.2, AD account creation is request based. Manager has to raise a request to create an AD account for the user.
Now we want to leave this process for AD account creation. Requirement is to create the AD account without any approval process.
Or I can say create an AD account for the user as soon as user gets created in OIM.
Please suggest.

I am able to follow the steps mentioned for creating membership rule and access policy.
Account get created whenever used is added to new group 'createadaccountautomatically'.
However a small trouble here.
Initially resource status goes to ready. I need to select Misallocation attribute in the request form manually. This might be happening because in present request based approval Manager provides the is_location.
How should I overcome this limitation? I mean what change to make so that is_location gets changed automatically.
Please suggest on this.

My SharePoint Portal is in Window Authentication. Some users have added requests to Lists. I want to find user name of the Created By and Modified By.
Only ID is available in the corresponding columns in Content Database table. In which table the users details would store in Content Database.

hi, you can find the user details inside UserInfo Table in content database. But i would suggest not to directly query the content databse not even for select as it will affect the indexes.

How do I get rid of the “Or click New to create a new user” on the centre pane of the portal screen when you go to "Users"?
My client doesn't allow users to create new users so this needs to be removed, but I can't find where it's configured.

There is no such way to assign automatically basic role to all users. You can go for tool sugested by Alex.
And also you can check one solution if this works for you that we have used in Past and proposed by business. In that if the Basic role is like end user role and needed for all portal users. Then you can create on Template users (Type dialog) . Then you can create the new users by copying the template user.

I have successfully created a new user but I am not able to run the command:
GRANT EXECUTE ON PROCEDURE executeUpdateNativeQuery TO user1
as I get the following error: Incorrect procedure name: 'executeUpdateNativeQuery' (Error code: 10000)
I am following page 482 of the Data Federator User Guide.

There is a typo in the documentation, the name of the procedure is:
executeNativeUpdateQuery
By the way, you can get the full procedure list by entering the following query in the administrator
SELECT * FROM leselect.system.procedures
