RG1 Registers not updating fully

Dear CIN gurus,
RG1 register not updating full contents like opening qty quantity and closing balance qty details. we are using ECC 6.0
Opening balance Quantity , Closing balance quantity are not coming automatcally.its appearing zero while downloading throu Excel. Other receipts and Issues quantity and values are getting updated. Any config check is there.
Pls help me to resolve the issue

Hi Mr.Muralidhar,
   Even i am facing the same Issue as mentioned above by Mr.Jaffer.
   In RG1 register,opening balances of materials are being updated after
   maintaining J_2IRG1BAL table entry.
   However, closing balance for the same material is not getting updated.
   For example, opening balance of a material is 1250 Units and no Issues
   have been done on the said day. But closing balance in register for the
   same material is getting displayed as Zero (0).
   Can you please help me to resolve the Issue.
    I also request all other CIN Experts to help me in resolving the Issue.

Dear Friend,
Make sure that the movement types for the material documents (say 101,131,601,641 etc) are updated in the below mentioned node
Spro > Logistics general > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business transactions > Incoming excise invoices > Specify which movement types Involve excise invoices
for RG1 update

RG1 is not Updating Automatically

Dear All Salute !!
RG1 is not updating automatically in the system due to data migration on cutoff date since February; they are maintaining parallel in the legacy system (in Excel or any other), though here is updated project from 5.0 to 6.0.
I am unable to understand, how the system is going on in the lacking of this.
From Accounts Department side: Still Cenvat duty posting & statement (57AE) are done manually by dispatch/stores department. As per ECC6, system generated report should be available to the end users to avoid duplicate work & mistake.
As per observation from SD side _no Opening Balance is uploaded while data migration_.
I have got information through SDN about table J_2IRG1BAL but I am unaware of using this.
Please provide me complete solution for this to do the needful instead of OSS Notes.

Please go through the sap note 951955 and check below comments:
Please check whether you have maintained opening balances for
all RG1 material in table J_2IRG1BAL. If not, please maintain opening
balances for all RG1 material in J_2IRG1BAL for the date from which
you want to run the RG1 report.

RG1 registry not updating

I have gone through existing forums and I was very clear about the functionality of the same but
there is one error which I am facing
SCENARIO
I have proceeded with the steps given in SD wiki and also I have gone through oss note 373001 which was quite helpful to certain limit because when I am using t-code J1I5 and entering parameters as mentioned in sd wiki page,system is givig me message,
"list contains no data" while execution.
Kindly let me know which parameters I have to enter or check!

Hi Kapil,
Please follow the below steps and confirm:
1) Update the Packed/Unpacked indicator for each material in the table.
2) Include 561(initial upload movement type) in the CIN configuration.
3) Update RG1 for initial update Material documents.
Now the initial stock will be available in RG1, then you can try updating the regular transactions (601 etc.,).

I searched in forum ...for my Question ...but all not releated to my Question...
Let me tell you wot i did .....
1) i created Material master and maintained Chapter ID-and Posted stock through MB1C with Moment type 561.
2) Through T-code SE16 i updated Material master in this Table(J_2IRG1BAL).But data is not updating in htis table.
How can i update the Data in this Table ..is thr any other way to update the data..is this mandatory.

RG1 Value not updated

Dear All,
We are selling the material thru Sales BoM. For the same we have maintained Item Cat Grp ERLA & LUMF in material master.
Druing RG1 updation the Qty is getting updated but not the value for the Sub Items. Can one guide how to updated the values for Sale BoM material.

Here you are using- ERLA which means pricing carried out at main item level-
RG1 will update the qtty from GI doc & Value from Excise Invoice ( which will flow from Invoice) -
So, in main item level pricing - value will not get updated in RG1-
I guess Qtty also should not get updated, as GI document will trigger only for main item, but not for subitems-
( because PGI will happen for only Main Item)

[Solved] Pacman -Syu not updating fully?

I've run Syy then Syu a couple times, yet pacman doesn't alert me to a newer Linux in core.
$ uname -r
Output: ... 3.6.5 ...
$ pacman -S linux
Output: ... linux-3.6.9-1 ...
So should I install this newer Linux regardless and then re-run Syu? Or is pacman disregarding 3.6.9 for a reason?

You have "linux" on IgnorePkg? check your /etc/pacman.conf
If you are using arch on a vps (not based on kvm, but on openvz or similar) chances are, you are stuck with your current kernel.
If thats the case, don't force the kernel update.

Batch Split in OBD & billed for the entire Quantity .RG1 register does not update the excise values

Hi All,
I am new here . We have batch split in Delivery and 601 happens for the individual batches and billing we bill for the entire quantity . Hence the RG1 does not update the excise values for the batches and it is showing as zero (upon extraction in J2I6). Upon research through the program the latest note which i presume is patched
The latest note is N158234 which does not show in the program but seems have been patched considering we are using the Latest version of SAP .
As you see above in the billing we have billed for the whole quantity but RG1 does not update for the since the batches are zero .
My programmer says because of some note related to cancellation where it says about values H & J in vbfa table and due to which program does not go through the Note for the batch split .
Now i have checked few other projects in my company and they all seems to be following the program . So i am wondering whether my process or some customization is missing .
Sales order (no batch determination) , in delivery the batches are picked through wm to and batch split happens in the delivery . Then billling for the whole quantity . We have automatic excise invoice creation enabled so no J1IIN .
Can somebody help me .

How about the other projects' values in VBFA where your techinical team is guessing some issue. Have you compared this?
Since you have already the note 158234 implemented in your system, ideally, you should not face any issue.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

PartII Registers are not updated for J1IS

Hi All,
Please help me to know, why there is no update for part II registers for Invoice for MRDY type , which was done through J1IS.Please help to configure these things
Example:
Returns PO Created ME21N
Goods posted :MIGO with Movt 161
Part I updated with J1I5
Invoice created with J1IS
Registers updated with J2I5 and then J2I6.
While doing J2I5 for part II, it is not updating the Part II register(I mean ,this transaction is not showing in J2I6)
If I do the other adjustments in transaction J1IH, we can able to update PartII registers (J2I5 then J2I6).
Please help in this regards.

Hi,
RG23A Part II register will have entries of Credit or Debit of Excise Duties, Excise Invoice created is not a part of RG23 Register. Through J1IS only Excise Invoice is created, effect of debiting the excise duties to this respective excise invouce will happen only when you will do J2IUN for debitting the excise duty. Moreover you can see the list in J2IUN - Pending Invoice or in J1I7 , use ETT type OTHR.

RG1 Register not getting updated

Need your help on following.
We have a scenario wherein the material is a BOM. The actual delivery happens for lower level items (like MS Angels) whereas the billing happens on Header Material (say entire Structure).
Scenario has following steps
Sales Order --> O/B Delivery of Lower level Items (PGI) --> Dummy Delivery of Header Material (No PGI) --> Proforma (Header Mat) --> Excise Inv. (Header Mat) --> Commercial Inv wrt Header Delivery
Their is no prcing at lower item level for which Delivery & PGI takes place. Excise Details have been maintained for Header material.
Now when we are trying to update RG1 register, its not getting updated. I am aware that RG1 Register is linked to Goods Movement in Delivery & but in our case their is no Goods Movmt. for Header Mat.
Please guide how to overcome this situation so that RG1 shall be updated.

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems.
