RG23A PART 1 & 11 EXTRACTION IN SAP (EXPORT UNDER NO BOND)

Hi all, this is Sujith
Please help me with this scenario :
My client is not running production in sap.
They need to extract the RG23A part 1 & 11 registers from SAP.
I compared the one manually maintained by them and that extracted from SAP for a particular period.
All procurement datas are coming fine.
They have maintained the case of EXPORT UNDER NO BOND their manually maintained one. But it is  not in SAP extracted one.
When i studied the EXPORT UNDER NO BOND  does not update the excise  part 1 & 2 table in sap.
My doubt is how to update it??
Is it need to be updated??
The SAP transactions they do for  EXPORT UNDER NO BOND  are:
Proforma invoice -> Outgoing excise wrt this proforma (no a/c doc) -> ARE1doc under no bond -> actual bill (a/c entry customer to sales, all excise conditions are statistical)
Do i need any change in this cycle for EXPORT UNDER NO BOND)

  • Export under No bond?

    Hi
In what case Export under no bond possible?
As per my knowledge for Export ARE-1 is required.
for ARE-1 creation Bond is required?
Does Export under no Bond means Export with LOU???
    Reg,
    Amol

In exports, under three methods, we can declare the excise returns.  They are
    1)  Exports Under Bond
    2)  Exports Under Letter of Undertaking and
    3)  Exports under Rebate
    1)  Exports Under Bond
Exporters are classified into two categories. Manufacturer-Exporters who manufacture and export  the goods in his own name without payment of excise duty and Merchant Exporters who buy the goods without payment of excise duty from a manufacturer and export the goods in his name.  For getting the goods without payment of duty, the merchant exporter has to necessarily execute a bond (standard forms are prescribed for various types of bonds, in which the assessee gives an undertaking to export the goods within a stipulated period as per the law).  The execution of bond is to ensure that in case of non-fulfillment of obligation, the central excise duty amount liable to be paid on the goods can be realized from him. Normally the bond is executed for an amount equivalent to the duty amount payable on the goods that the exporter is planning to export.  Whenever  the goods are cleared from the factory without payment of duty for export, the duty amount payable on the goods will be debited from the Running Bond Account.  Whenever the goods are actually exported (after the proof of export is received from the Division/Maritime Commissioner),  the manufacturer will take credit of the duty amount debited earlier by him.  The manufacturer also has the option to maintain a running bond account by executing a bond with the Central Excise authorities.    Though it is optional for a manufacturer-exporter to execute a bond for export clearances, it is very much necessary for merchant exporters.
The other two will be followed separately due to format restriction.

  • Export under NoBond

    Hi,
I am creating Excise invoice for export under No BOnd, where the export is done on payment of duty and later the refund is claimed. I want the system to generate the accounting documents.
I am clicking on the utilization tab and place the cursor on NoBond.
but it is not creating the accounting documents after I save the document.
    Please guide
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Normal practise in the industry is, these invoices will be treated as export invoices withoutpayment of duty. Excise duty will be debited interactively through transaction code J1IH -> Other adjustments, so that you have a proof that ED is debited in the Excise registers. Alternatively, in some industries, for these sort of invoices, they create an excise invoice through other movements (OTHR) so that entry will get updated to the Excise Duty Payable account and will be paid in the month end or fortnightly.

  • Activate LOUT and Export under BOND in J1IIN

    Hi ,
I have a requiremetn where we have Export under LOUT, 100 % EOU scenario and SEZ. I have done the required configuration and till Excise invoice all pricing things are OK. But when it comes to documentation for all the three there are difference in documentation. If i am right
    Export under LOUT - BOND + ARE1
    100%EOU - License + AR3A
    SEZ (LOUT) - BOND (LOUT) + ARE1.
But when i create excise invoice , since system check the Country of the Customer and only activate Deemed Export Opion, but
here i want to activate LOUT and Export under Bond both options. Plz let me know as which note i can apply to activate this.
    Thanks
    Rishi

    Hello
Definately you have to excise conditions to ur Pricing procedure (But e.g. only JMOD for basic excise and not JEX2 as we do not want to post excise duty it is only for calculation as same has to reflected in ARE-1).
    Cheers!!!!

  • Opening and closing balance mismatch for - RG23A Part II

    Dear SAP Gurus,
RG23A-Part-II for the month of May 2010 and have noticed the following problems
    1. The closing balance of last month is not tallying with the opening balance of current month. The balances printed in the register for BED, EDUCESS And HSEC are wrong.
    2. We have utilized the CENVAT balance for the payment of duty for the month of May 2010 - J2IUN.
3.It is observed that even though we have debited duty under three headings, i.e. BED, EDUCESS and HSEC the register shows all the three debits under BED, which is incorrect
Note : The Table entry of J_1IPart2 for Accounting Document ex 200033141 does not show breakup for Education Cess and H&SEcess.
Kindly help what and where do we need to check for the setting?
    Regards,
    Prashanth

Its possible that some transactions are posted after you extract the report.  Extract the report again (J2I5) and print them.
Have you configured different GL accounts for posting BED, ECS & HCS.  From your description, it seems same GL is assigned for all three components.

  • Hi....SAP EXPORT statement

    Hello All,
Please provide ur valuable solutions for the following
i am trying to call a report in background with Submitt Job FM ... To the called report i need to pass internal table so i am making use of "Export to shared Buffer " statement, this is working  only when internal table to be exported contains limited no of records.. when it exceeds certain limit , it gives me dump...... please provide the solution

    Hi,
You can export up to 30000 bytes only not more than that.
Here is an extract from SAP HELP.
EXPORT_BUFFER_NO_MEMORY: The EXPORT data cluster is too large for the application buffer. This error should not often occur, since the buffer works with a displacement procedure working on the least recently used principle. If the error does occur, you can increase the profile parameter rsdb/obj/buffersize (see Profile parameter attributes.
    Effect
Specifies the objects to be exported in the internal table itab. You can use this variant instead of a static object list in each of the variants 1 to 4. All of the additions allowed in the static cases are also allowed in this 'dynamic' variant. The internal table itab may not be a HASHED TABLE or ANY TABLE.
The first column of the table contains the object name in a data cluster. In other words, it corresponds to the static obj1 ... objn . The second column contains the different name in the program (if applicable), and corresponds to field f in the FROM f addition. If the table only has one column, or the second column only contaisn blanks, this corresponds to a static EXPORT without a FROM addition. In this case, the first column of the table (and second if applicable) should be of type Character.
DATA: BEGIN OF OBJ_TAB OCCURS 5,
            CLUSTERNAME(30),
            PROGRAMNAME(10),
          END   OF OBJ_TAB.
DATA: BEGIN OF B_PROG OCCURS 2,
            FIELD_1 TYPE I,
            FIELD_2 TYPE N,
          END    OF B_PROG.
    DATA: A(10),
          C_PROG LIKE SYST.
    MOVE:  'A'      TO OBJ_TAB-CLUSTERNAME.
    APPEND OBJ_TAB. CLEAR OBJ_TAB.
    MOVE:  'B'      TO OBJ_TAB-CLUSTERNAME,
           'B_PROG' TO OBJ_TAB-PROGRAMNAME.
    APPEND OBJ_TAB. CLEAR OBJ_TAB.
    MOVE:  'C'      TO OBJ_TAB-CLUSTERNAME,
           'C_PROG' TO OBJ_TAB-PROGRAMNAME.
    APPEND OBJ_TAB. CLEAR OBJ_TAB.
EXPORT (OBJ_TAB) TO MEMORY ID 'ABCD'.
The dynamic EXPORT statement corresponds to a static EXPORT statement.
    EXPORT A  B FROM B_PROG  C FROM C_PROG TO MEMORY ID 'ABCD'.
The system exporst the field A with name A, the internal table B_PROG under the name B , and the structure C_PROG under the name C.
    Note
    Runtime errors:
DYN_IMEX_OBJ_NAME_EMPTY: The object name in the cluster (the contents of the first column of itab is empty.
DYN_IMEX_OBJ_NAME_TWICE: An object name (in the cluster) occurs twice in the first column of the internal table.
DYN_IMEX_OBJ_NOT_FOUND: The data object for export (the object whose name is entered in column 2 (or column 1 if column 2 is empty), does not exist.

  • RG23A Part I for Finished Goods?

    Hi All,
Has anybody noticed if you select an excisable item as Finished Goods under excisable on item master data screen and having raised an outgoing excise invoice and if you run a report either RG23A Part I  OR RG23A Part II from Excel Reporter you will not be getting any report whatsoever.
then what is the purpose of providing "Finished Goods" option when it is not generating any reports?  but it is working fine with Raw Material and Capital Goods item types.
Can anybody explain the scenario on how to use finished goods option and generating excise reports for those kind of items?
    Thanks
    SV Reddy

Hi Datta, thanks for the reply
according to SAP Note 1062872 (2005B version) it reads as
"The excise register for excisable items of type raw materials/finished goods is currently set to RG32A Part I. When you create an out going excise invoice with these type of items, the accumulator for RG32A Part I will be increased."
I thought the same is applicable with SAP Business One 2007B version.  However what you said might be correct.  But the problem with one of my manufacturing client is whenever they raising an Outgoing Excise invoice  they have registered numbers automatically be created on the pre printed invoice paper.  where the invoice will be printed only with the qty, rate , price and register numbers rest of the information on the document is pre-printed.  So they have a column called RG23C Part I / II where register numbers are automatically printed.  But RG23C Part I & II are for "Capital Goods"
If I consider these manufactured items as "capital goods" then it will raise register numbers automatically.  but this will not acceptable.  correct me if i am wrong.  so all of these items should be cosidered as Finished Goods in the item master data.  if i do that again there is a conflict with their RG23C Part I / II on the pre-printed column and i wont be raising any register numbers.
Please update me on how should I deal with this issue

    3. Based on Function module
    GenericSteps
    Log on sap R/3.
Step 1. create a table or view for generic extraction in se11.
    Step 2. Goto  t-code RSO2
Step 3. Here u have to decide whether to extract transaction data or master data attributes or texts.
Step 4. suppose if u have opted for transaction data, then give name in the column ex:ztd_m(data source name)
Step 5. select create button, this will take u to another screen.
Step 6. Here u have to decide from which application component u r extacting data.Ex: SD,MM,..
Step 7. in this screen u have to fill short disciption, medium, long( these r mandatory).
Step 8. then U have to Table name or view name which u have created in se11.
Step 9. I f u want to maintain generic delta then u can select generic delta in top left hand side corner.
Step 10. in next screen u have to give some field which is primary key.

Make use of the subject effectively.  Don't type the entire requirement there

Hi, If your plant is in excise free zone, the excise amount will have to be loaded to material cost at the time of GR as per procurement cycle.for that you need to use the non-deductible excise conditions for BED(JMIP), ECess(JECI) and SECess(JSEI).
In the same way when you are transferring the material from excisable plant to non-excisable Plant, the excise amount to be captured from the supplying plant and while doing inbound delivery the excise cost will be sumed off with the material cost.In the reverse case there is a loss of excise,So I hope this is not a allowed business otherwise in the excise Plant you have to make Gr by selecting No excise in the excise Tab at header of the MIGO.

  • Export Under Rebate Pricing Procedure Configuration

    Hi SD professionals,
My Client have practice of export under rebate  in which they used to export the goods by utilizing balances available in RG23A/RG23C.
They charge excise with regular excise rates &  but this duties are not charged to the customer & charged to rebate receivable account/excise expenses.
FI requirement is accounting entry required is:
    Customer account.....Dr. Rs.100
    Rebate receivable .....Dr. Rs.10.3
    Sales Cr. ...........            Cr. Rs.100
    Excise Paid/Payable.... Cr. Rs.10.3
    Customer account.....Dr. Rs.100
Excise Not Availed Expenses .....Dr. Rs.10.3(Expense Account)
    Sales Cr. ...........            Cr. Rs.100
    Excise Paid/Payable.... Cr. Rs.10.3
The above entries are for billing document & excise invoice would be as per regular practice.
How can we configure this in pricing procedure for export under rebate?
I had tried through statistical condition type but not serving any purpose.
    Please suggest config or workarounds.
    Regards,
    Balaji Parsewar

    Hi Kishan,
For Exports under rebate you do not create a bond since excise will have to be paid and then claimed back. You will have to generate an ARE-1 document, complete the formalities and then claim the refund.
As regards to your query on the pricing procedure, for exports under rebate, the excise and cess should not be statistical in nature, since they need to be paid.

  • Error in RG23A Part 2 Update in Vendor Return

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Vendor Return and we have configured Immediate Utilization of CENVAT.
After creating return delivery (Mvt Type 122), when Excise Invoice is created (created and posted in a single step) in J1IS, the RG23A Part1 is updated correctly but in RG23A Part 2 only BED value is updated whereas ECS and AT1 should have been updated too but not getting updated. In Excise Invoice ECS (ECess) and AT1 (SECess) values are missing.
Can anyone provide some idea to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Spro>Logistics u2013 General>Tax on Goods Movements>India>Business Transactions>Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoicesu2014here check for movt type 122 which register is maintained once appropriate register is maintained there then system will update the same.
Or even you can try J1I5 update register with movt type 122 & enter material document (return delivery material document no) & classification IPD (Issued for clearance/Removal on payment of duty) & select the correct radio button of register. Once update the register then Extract data for excise registers Using J2I5.
It will update both the data in the register
