RGB pdf with hyperlinks not displaying in RGB

I'm creating a PDF for use online. It began as a print document but I've changed everything to RGB and I want the hyperlinks to display in a bright RGB blue color. (InDesign CS6) When I open the PDF in Acrobat, it displays ONLY THE FIRST PAGE in RGB. All subsequent pages are displaying in CMYK. I have saved this file out every which way, and the only way it seems to preview all pages in RGB is by taking the compatiblity down to Acrobat 4.0. Unfortunately, that does not support the hyperlinks, so that is not an option. Please help. I'm so baffled.

Some PDF files are not displayed in Bridge

Hello,
here is the problem: I use Adobe Bridge CS2 to browse my large collection of PDF files, and unfortunately some files are not displayed in the Filmstrip View mode; instead a generic icon is shown (bridge1.png). Most PDF files, however, are displayed correctly (bridge2.png). Is this the problem of Bridge or of certain PDF files, and how should I fix them to make them being displayed by Bridge?

In fact, all files have similar type of content (research papers). However, I found out that all files which are not displayed are "protected" by the publisher such that they only can be viewed and printed, but not modified or disassembled. Apparently, this causes the problem with Bridge not displaying them. It's a pity that Bridge cannot handle them...

In FireFox 4.0, PDF files will not display

After updating to 4.0, PDF files will not display in the browser window as before. All I get is blank screen. Everything works fine in IE9. I have updated all the plug-ins, including Adobe Acrobat. Also have enable Display PDF in browser in Acrobat Reader.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

CF8 - pdf files do not display in a browser

We are setting up the multiple instance capability using jrn4 with cf8,
with apache 2.x on Redhat linux 5.X.
For the when browsing to the main cfusion instance I can see pdf files
but if I go to the document root of an instance, pdf files are not displayed.
Infact it hoses whichever browser you are using.
I can see cfm, txt, html files.
Anyone have an idea what is happening?

I tried your recommendation of turning off coldfusion and it
appears the problem of not being able to display
a pdf file has nothing to do with coldfusion or with apache.
The problem appears to be how we are mounting the documentroot on a linux server
from a windows file server using a cifs mount.
It seems to handle text files properly but not pdf files (it may have problems
with other types of files), perhaps it is an issue with end of line or end of
file which is confusing things.
This is the mount command we are using
//win_file_server/xyz /data/xyz cifs user,ro,credentials=credentials,uid=48,gid=48,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755
The credentials file contains
username=some_name
password=xxxxxxxx
uid=apache
gid=apache
filemode=0660
dirmode=0770
nosuid
nosetuids
It works file if the documentroot is on a mounted unix file system, but not windows.
Does anyone know if mounting a windows file system can work properly?
(Perhaps we are missing some additional settings).

kindly, make sure that you add the font path into your FORMS_PATH in regestery (if you are using windows) also put your font mapping ubder [ PDF:Subset ]
for example:

PDF with hyperlinks to images and other PDFs.

I would like to create a small booklet with approximately 12 to 16 pages as a PDF document but wish to have images and text in the document set as hyperlinks so that they can launch other images and/or documents. In other words, a viewer could click on an image or text and then see an enlarged image open on the center of his computer screen or see another document open over the original PDF. This would work in a similar fashion to what one can do with interactive books on the iPad created with iBook Author.
The questions I have are:
Where can I find more material to read on how to create PDF with these features?
I have seen PDFs that open with an application on screen that makes them 'feel' more like a real magazine. They are not a typical Acrobat or similar PDF viewer but rather an application that 'flips' the pages in a similar manner to what one would do holding a real magazine. Is it possible to do this with the PDF documents launched by hyperlinks on my PDF document?
Can these hyperlinks open enlarged images in the center of the screen while the remaining area around the image (background) become darker to place emphasis on the image?
How can I learn more about these features and how to use them with Acrobat and PDF documents?
In case the information is relevant I am currently running Acrobat 9 Pro version 9.5.3 on a Mac.
This is sort of an urgent project so any help you can share will be very appreciated.

PDF file properties not display info

LiveCycle ES2 SP1 :
PDF created with Form ES2 does not show pdf version, PDF Producer, created, modified, Application Title, Author etc.
I am using xdp + xml with Form ES API formsClient.renderPDFForm method to generate pdf.
(on windows right click on generated pdf and selecte Properties)
What could be the problem?

Ok I think may be it is Reader version that is not able to display it correctly.
I also found that the assemble generated document will show pdf properties of the first document that was used in the assembly list (true?).
I have Acrobat Reader 9.2.0 the pdf properties does not get displayed.
But on another machine I have Acrobat Reader 9.1.0 it able to display pdf properties ok.

Insert a spreadsheet and word docs into a PDF with hyperlinks

I have a spreadsheet index with hyperlinks to 455 single page word docs. I want to make a single pdf by inserting the spreadsheet followed by the word docs.
Is there a way of having the hyperlinks recognize the inserted word docs pages inside the pdf via the original hyperlinks, or do I need to remove the hyperlinks before inserting the spreadsheet and then do bookmarks for all 455 pages? Or some other method?

I doubt that will work. But it should be easy enough to find out. If you
print to pdf from ID, I guarantee is will not work. If you export from
ID, I doubt it will work, but ask in the ID forum, since the creation
does not depend upon Acrobat.

Compressed PDF file is not displaying properly in Windows 8 Reader app

We have compressed a PDF file using some third party library. The compressed file is displaying properly, when we're opening the file with ADOBE reader. The same file is displaying blank, when we're opening the file with Windows 8 reader.

Flowers.pdf is not displaying correctly and Tiger.pdf is displaying as blank in Windows reader. But both are displaying correctly in Adobe reader.
We have used LeadTools 14.5 library to compress the pdf files.

Hyperlinks not displaying in .chm

All of a sudden, and with no discernable pattern of behavior,
my .chm is not displaying some hyperlinks within the compiled help.
These are all internal references; no files external to the help
system are referenced. I've tried recompiling (locally), including
deleting the previous .chm before recompiling. Any ideas?

and everything looks fine within the project. The strange thing is
that I'm using the same folder structure and generating into the
same (default) folder as I always have. When I change the output
destination folder, the .chm references work okay. If I go back to
my default destination and generate the .chm, the references are
gone -- RoboHelp doesn't show broken links; the links themselves
disappear. I was able to generate the file in a different
directory; everything looks great and I used that for the software
build, but I'm wondering why my defaults are suddenly unhappy. I
don't even know where to fix it, because it looks okay in the
source project.

PDF/A files not displaying correctly on iPad

I am creating a PDF/A document that is a compilation of a bunch of MS Word and PDF documents, which will be primarily viewed on iPad. I'm using DocsCorp pdfDocs on my computer (a PC) to compile them together, and saving as PDF/A to ensure no font problems. However, it's still not displaying properly on the iPad. Some of the pages are missing blocks of text and images. Some of the lines of text just look like black lines across the page, and there are some pages that have big black patches where text used to be.
Does anyone know what else I can do to make my PDF/A document display correctly on an iPad?

PDF files are not displayed

Firefox does not display PDF files. I did not have this problem before and tried just about everything that has been mentioned under help and in the forum - including a complete and clean reinstallation. So far NOTHING seem to have any effect. For a while it says in the lower left corner "transfering data" (or something like that), but then is says "Done" and all I get is a blank screen.

PDF files are not displayed. Why?

Most of the PDF files I uploaded are not displayed on Creative Cloud. Some I can view page by page, but most are only displayed as generic PDF icon.They are not very complex or difficult files - What is the problem? My InDesign files are displayed nicely. Even GMail displays the PDF files without a problem.
Any suggestions?
